The manager of this place is very rude, has a short temper, and doesn’t handle criticism professionally. She’s gotten snippy with me on 2 different occasions. Today, the cashier told me a total amount that was way too high. All of the items I purchased were on their weekly add. I started asking the cashier what I was charged for each item and what discount was applied to each of them. She walked up while this was going on and started spouting off the different discount amounts but without telling me which item those discounts were for. So I suggested that they just print the receipt so I could figure out what I was being over charged for. She said she couldn’t do anything for me unless I paid for it first. I wasn’t going to pay her until I felt like the amount was right because I certainly didn’t want to fight with them about a refund later. She told me if I didn’t want to pay, I could leave my stuff and go! She’s so hateful and nasty, I won’t be shopping there anymore.

This is one of 2 stores I can stand to shop for food in ponca. The people who work here are some of the nicest employees in town. I actually dont mind shopping here and almost look forward to going there since the staff is so nice. The store is small enough to easily get around in when Im hurting too bad to walk far. The food is good and most of the time better than you can get at walmart and quite often better for you. The lady I see in there running the place is so nice. You could talk to her all day. I highly recommend this store as an alternative to the horrible grocery stores in ponca. Ponca has the worst grocery stores on Earth so this little store is a nice alternative from the nightmare!!!!!! Who knew. I went there out of desperation but fell in love with this store.

Another great example of a DG thats well staffed with friendly knowledgeable people happy to help you find whatever they have that meets your needs. Clean store, distance markers in checkout, sanitizing between customers and still maintaining a smile. Was a pleasure to spend time and money there today. Kudos!

Dollar General is just a great store to shop in. They have everything you could want and the ladies go out of their way to help you. I just love Dollar General

For a small store, they had many items there. Even had items l didnt think they would have. Good place for quick shop with friendly, helpful stuff .

You want people to wear mask in your store you need to provide them. You lost my buisness and hopefully anyone with common sense will stop shopping there

I go here often to avoid larger stores. They have what I am looking for most of the time, but I often run into inventory shortage here. It may be because of the pandemic, but really not sure.

Last week while paying for my purchases, I had asked for 3 packs of Newport menthol shorts . I was looking in my purse for my bank card and the female cashier got cigs and put them in a bag . I paid and my daughter and I grabbed our bags and loaded them then left. Almost home realized the cashier gave me 100 Newport, not shorts . I dropped my kid and groceries went right back to dg and asked to trade my cig for shorts. Cashier was rude and would fix her mistake . No longer shop at this dg

Its a chain you see everywhere and its nice to be able to run in get an item or two that you need and get out.

Some shelves fairly empty, not very organized, not easy to find things. Only seen one associate, and she was running the register

Long line and one checker (as usual) then there were a couple of problems that held everything up. Store was pretty dirty. Could have been much better. I did find what I was looking for.

Love this location! So convenient! Sometimes the store could get messy, but now with the remodel, it looks so sharp! Many items were out of stock on my last trip, but Im betting it was because of the remodel and it wont be that way constantly. As a penny-pincher, I appreciate how they ALWAYS have plenty of sale items in stock and I love the ease of their Digital Coupons. In the past 2 years, Ive started spending much more time and money at DG as opposed to a larger discount chain. I just wish I had done it sooner!

Great store just needs to have employees that stay with them (so there is not someone new each time I go in) and work harder at getting the products stocked on the shelves.

Store was mostly clean and well-organized. The staff was friendly. There were a lot of empty spaces on the shelves and I had to pick up a few items elsewhere.

This store has really gone down hill I stood at the check out counter for 5 min. Waiting on a cashier and when she arrived there finally she tells me I need to learn to have patience I will not go back to this store i was already running late and really needed to get to where I was headed customer service there is just not worth it

Nice staff, small store, entrance and exciting onto street can be somewhat difficult during the busy hours as its located on a main road not far from a stop light.
