The doctor is great but the manager and the girls out front I forgot my money and I was having a bad idea and I was trying to explain that. When I said I was coming right back they made me take the contacts out and that was last pair of kind I wanted. I understand why. But when I came back the manager and two employees started talking about me and making fun of me. Please remember you dont know whats going on in somebodys life to cause them to be upset grow up. Ill only be coming back to buy my contacts than after that transferring to somewhere else.
Excellent service from Frances and Dr. Lee-Sue! They did a fantastic job answering all of my questions. Their frame selection is huge and I was able to get the glasses I wanted for half of what I normally paid at my old eye doctor.

This was my first visit to Visionworks. Upon entering the store I was greeted by a very friendly staff. Had the opportunity to work with a very friendly, patient, competent, staff member named Frances. Even after having to redo my transaction her disposition did not change. Frances assistance was very much appreciated. Thank you for a great experience
Pros: the optometrist and Frances were great. Exam went smoothly and the ordering process went smoothly. This is where the pros of this place stop.Cons: the cons begin after you spend your money. I received two texts that two out of my four orders were in. I called to see what came in and the girl was rude and even put me on hold without telling me she was putting me on hold. Then I went in yesterday evening to pick up my glasses. The lady rushed me. I had my contacts on and asked the lady if I could take my contacts out to see how the glasses looked. She did not offer anything for me to take my contacts out and told me to just put my head down and shake it to see if the glasses fell off. One pair did and she adjusted them. I went home. This morning I went to put them on and noticed the bracket was bent and the arm of the glasses was loose. This is the same pair she adjusted. I brought them in the morning and told the lady what happened and she was not apologetic that my glasses were not up to standard after just spending $700 and was not apologetic to my being rushed out last night. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service experience.Edit: I went back to pick up my sunglasses and contacts and my experience for that was better. I guess it really just depends who you get…
I want to commend Frances for being an exceptional employee! I brought my two sons for exams and there was an issue with my Davis Vision insurance when it came time to check out. Although it was the end of her shift and she had to get home to her babysitter, she stayed late on my behalf to call Davis Vision and get the proper authorization. Not only was she patient, she was good humored, knowledgeable and a true professional! She made our experience very pleasant!
Dr Gary Lee-Sue was very nice and professional. He made sure to explain everything he was doing to me and took the time to answer all my questions. When it came time to pick out a pair of glasses, Frances helped me pick the best look for me. She was very funny, personable and extremely patient. There was a problem with my insurance and she helped get the problem resolved in a timely manner. I would highly recommend both Dr. Lee-Sue and Frances to help you find your next pair of glasses.

DISHONEST AND POOR SERVICE!!I went to Visiowork the one in Pooler GA 31322 on 8/4, and had the eye exam and bought a pair of glasses. The brand is Ray ban and the price is $250. As I confirmed with them that I will get the brand new one. On 8/7, they sent me a text to pick up. Today when I picked it up, it is scratched and had the sticker glue on it, even the letter on the frames leg all off. The manager tried to bluff me out kept saying its the new one. The new one could be like this situation, I totally doubt. I insist she replaces me with a new frame that I deserve. She just grabs the one display on the shelf asks me to change to that one. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. She is saying all the frames on shelves are all new. She said if you want a new one will transfer from other stores they are also display glasses. I do not want to know how their business process. Its not my problem, I said to her the new frame is what I ask. I returned the glasses to the manager and now I called the customer service. And I hope the higher-level management will give me a solution. Beware the rude manager and the staff.

Very good expirence and first time at a vision works! Actually usually go to eyeglass world. The doctor was very nice and professional as well as everyone else in the office. Arielle assisted me with my frame choices and purchase. She spent a lot of time with me and was very helpful. I will be back. Only thing I wish would be different would be the return time on the glasses.. 2 weeks is a long time.
Willie helped us and he was amazing! From helping my son get his first pair of glasses to helping me with my definitely not first pair of glass he was such a joy to work with. When it came time to get my new lenses he rearranged his schedule to cut them for me so I didn’t have to be without them for long. I can’t say enough good things about what great customer service he provided.
The ladies in this office are so sweet and helpful. All these bad reviews blow my mind i was nervous to go but they were on point. Great job and see you next year for sure! This is my new eye office.
Visited this store today to shop for glasses. Already had an eye exam and my prescription. We were greeted at the door by a lady whom asked if we had an appointment, we said no and asked if we needed one to shop for frames, the lady then said no and do you have a prescription to which we answered yes. She then asked for the prescription to which I questioned do you need to see my prescription for me to shop for frames? To which she responded “ let me see your prescription”. Rude!! We turned around and walked out. Will not be visiting them again!! 10 minutes later I was being fitted for glasses at another eye glass store. Lost my business because of your poor customer service.
My overall experience at Visionworks was a great one after they rescheduled me. I was quickly in and out while being assisted by Airelle. She offered to help pick out some frames with me and was patient with me when it came to deciding what to apply on my lenses. I enjoyed having her assist me and can’t wait to come back to get more frames.
I want to say the whole staff was extremely helpful and Dr. Lee went above and beyond. Great place to be seen.

I walk In Forgetting my mask and they give me one.... then one lady greets me then another lady cuts her off and tells me to stand by the door. Then says since we are closing the store is at capacity. There was 1 client in the building I saw. I understand “rules” but theyExtremely rude. And they close at 6 not 5:30. I won’t be going there again.

I went with my eye prescription to get glasses. Lisa gave me a quote of $95 for lenses and $58 for upgraded lenses. She said this was a savings of over $200. The receipt showed $125 for each. There was no discount, they base the quote on your insurance. When I questioned the bill, she became very rude and kept cutting me off when I tried to ask questions.I returned after 2 days with the glasses to discuss an issue. I sat waiting for help as two of the employees saw me and went into the back of the office. When I did get help, she said the glasses didn’t fit my nose. Wouldn’t you tell me before I purchased them? She suggested resolution was to get another vision test and get a new prescription.Not a good place to get glasses.

I came in to get new glasses for me and my son. I admit I forgot to make an appointment first and not being able to help me I understand with covid going on. That being said the women that work there were very unfriendly at the point of being rude. Spent almost $1000 dollars last time I was there and might not return. Had a problem with my mask because of my asthma and they wouldn’t let me stay in the store because I couldn’t wear it any longer. Plus you can’t read and screens for them when your glasses are fogging up. Their glasses are way over priced. I’ve had better quality with Walmart glasses. Will never get my business again.
The dr and his assistant were so attentive and through. Lisa helped us pick our glasses and wrote the orders, she was amazing! Got everything we wanted in no time.
My husband and I went in for an exam, this was as far as the positive experience had gone. The young man that was helping us order our glasses seemed very disorganized, having to get up multiple times and redoing his steps. For something that should have been simple enough turned into a very long drawn out process. We were given a date on when our glasses would be expected, but that day passed. My husband went in after the date and was told that they hadn’t shown up. About a week later we both received a call that the wrong lenses were put in the glasses and they had to be sent back. On September 11 my husband received an email that his glasses were ready for pickup. I went in the next day and they gave me his glasses and when I asked about mine they told me they hadn’t shown up yet. I told them that I would like to cancel my order because I can get my glasses from another location. The young lady said she will check on them and after running from the front to the back multiple times came to tell me that my glasses had been sent to another store by accident, but are expecting them today. She said that she could have them overnighted to me as soon as they arrive. Which means I would have to make another trip to Pooler to have them fitted. I am not expecting to receive my glasses, but I do know I would not recommend Vision Works to anyone. The amount of excuses are not worth the high price tag that come with their type of services.
Love this place !! The Eye Doctor, Gaiy Lee-Sue is the Best eye doctor I’ve ever in my life been to. Very professional and very kind. My appointment was right on time. I didn’t even have to wait at all. Love that. Then I had an Awesome experience and a Lot of help finding the Perfect glasses for me with the help of Miss Airelle !!! The business acumen in this office and the lack of professionalism among the staff is one you should steer clear. If you want to be snarled at and ridiculed for your annual eye exam, this is the place to go. On my unfortunate Saturday afternoon that took >2.5 hours, I came home with no glasses/contacts. Im not sure whats going on in this corporate office but it is poorly run. Last year I was greeted by the same condescending employees. This year I went back because it was convenient. Before I even walked in the building, the office manager Janine yelled for entering. One of the staff informed they were very stressed because a girl with disabilities was having a seizure prior to me being there. Apparently this was too much for Janine to handle that she felt it was appropriate to yell at incoming customers.The paramedic signaled me to walk inside after they exited the building. I work with patients all day, doctor here, just because youre stressed and dealing, doesnt give permission to treat others with disrespect. It is not another customers fault Janine and staff cant handle the very little that they already do at their jobs. Janine screamed with her hands in the air, MAM DO NOT COME IN HERE. I told her the paramedic waved for me to come in through the door. She snarled at me and continued to talk under her breath and to her coworkers. I responded with I can see that, its not every day that happens in an eye doctors office. It has absolutely nothing to do with me though, I was just walking in for my appointment after the paramedic waved for me to go in. WELL THE PARAMEDIC TOLD ME TO TELL YOU TO WAIT. Woah! Okay Janiney girl! The girls sitting around dumbfounded with what just happened, continued to talk amongst themselves and bully me as a customer. They just stood there and blinked at you! The eye doctor spent maybe 10 minutes and told me my contacts slightly got worse, and suggested I try their new gadget for $19.99 vs dilate my eye. I did the new gadget and the young asian gentleman that was helping me was very polite. It is the women in that office that clearly need to 1) get a raise, 2) get laid because they seem so overwhelmed at their jobs! I finally said I have to leave this is an insane. I cant be in this building, this is ridiculous this experience. I came for an eye exam and I am getting ATTACKED. I asked to speak to the doctor and Janine would not let me. There were 10 girls who couldnt figure it out. Then I was switched to another African American woman who talked about her weave for 30 minutes. While doing that, she gave me the wrong prices for my contact lens. I questioned the price and she blamed someone else for her mistake. Finally she realized its 250 dollars more. I asked politely why.....the doctor said my prescription went up only a tiny bit. She snapped back IDK ITs WHATEVER THE DOCTOR TOLD YOU. Well, the doctor told me essentially that not much changed, only a slight increase. Im like ok well Ill take whatever the doctors says. Then she continues to talk in circles like a person that had no idea what she was talking about. Im not sure if she was confused! I told her Ill take whatever the doctor recommends and shes like ummmm NO pay in full. I said ok! Then she said NO Ill just order you the trial, thats the way it works here. Im like a trial? Ive been wearing contacts for 15 yrs, but okay Ill do the trial or pay in full, whatever is easiest. She said pay in full. I said okay I will pay in full. And shes like NO you should not pay in full, you can just pay for your exam. I was like what? Youre all over the board here! What is going on!? Then my girl Janine had the nerve to walk back over and give some more attitude!!! It was like I said white, they said black, and that was my entire WASTED Saturday afternoon at VisionWorks because they have front end staff that dont know communication. Janine, run my insurance and Ill get you for insurance fraud sweetie!

Recently went in to shop for new glasses and was very impressed with how the staff was handling customer needs during a iffy time due to Covid! I even witnessed another customer being so nasty and rude about having to use hand sanitizer, or washing her hands, and the staff kept it together! Thanks for doing your best to keep us all safe, and help us with our vision needs!

I do not recommend Visionsworks. Just 37 days after receiving my new glasses from this Visionworks there was a scratch on the right lens. I bought scratch resistance, anti-glare, and other options. Im retired and live a boring life in my home. Upon returning to Visionworks it was awful. The manager, Janine, was accusatory and asked more than once what I did to them. She took no ownership of the problem, had a bad attitude, and would not replace them for free. IF you buy from Visionworks realize that once you walk out the door with your glasses that you are on your own.

She was AAAMAZING, kind, and most of all patient with me while I was all over the place in my head trying to figure out what glasses and additional perks I wanted. At the end of my visit and 10 minutes into her lunch we figured it out and I am completely and %100 satisfied. I end up purchasing 2 pair of glasses and 4 boxes of contacts under the price that I set for myself. I thank you and I appreciate you Marie. I cant wait to get my tinted bifocals in the next 10-14 days. :-)
I called to make an appointment and my appointment was for 3:30. On my way to the appointment Im doing my paperwork online when I finish I noticed that my appointment was changed to 2:45. I called them and they dont want to admit that they were wrong and now they dont want to fit me in. Then they want to put the blame on cov 19 for them messing up the schedule. I have been going to another state vision works for the past 7 years. I guess its time to find a new eye doctor.

GREAT experience in Pooler Visionworks! I went for the 60%off eyeglasses. Ad said really. I was still skeptical. I expected Id hear oh sorry, not for your lenses but went to check it out. Due to my prescription, I have to have those real expenses lenses. Lisa H. was super helpful and she said yes they are 60% off. I was able to by my glasses and my sunglasses for less than the regular cost of just lenses in 1 pair of glasses. 60% off really is 60% off, not just something to lure you in. Lisa was helpful in deciding on frames that would work with my prescription and my face. A couple other ladies working came over to help me choose. Best experience ever at a vision center and Ive been wearing glasses for almost 40 years.

I bought my glasses less than a month ago and one of the lens started poking out of the frames. So we came back to fix it, they told me that it was a normal thing. After I checked again and asked again why half of the lens is poking out. They said that I had to pay more to make the lens thinner after almost a month of having them instead of telling me when first I got them. There was no reason to not tell me to make the lens thinner when I first got the glasses because I wouldn’t have minded paying at that time. But instead they tell me this weeks after. Very bad customer service, for lying to me that my lens poking out was normal but actually wasn’t? Also one of the worker had an attitude and her body language was very negative.
My experience at the Pooler location was wonderful! My wife and I were able to schedule a same day appointments and the staff was so readily available to assist in the entire new applicant process. Shelby was very knowledgeable and proficient at getting us screened and ready for Dr. Patel. Dr. Patel was able to thoroughly screen our eyes and get us the information we both needed about the health of our eyes. India was so awesome very impressive and knowledgeable in finding the needed discounts and applied insurance premiums for our glasses. She also made sure I didnt pick ugly glasses on my face and I appreciate that so much! We will definitely come back again!

You guys put me in another time appointment with out my concern, I call to let you know about the mistake you made, and what I get is due to covid we can not see to many people, my question is what does covid has to do with a staff member messing up the time of my appointment?My rates for this place every month will be the worse I can rate. There is no values and staff need to stop blaming covid for their mistakes, Doctor you should had see me due to the negligent of your staff instead of asking them to schedule me another day.
If I could leave no stars i would. My family and I went for exam and glasses on 02/08/20, exam went well but when time to get glasses felt rushed. Lisa really did not go over fees and what was covered and what wasnt. I decided not to get my glasses but my spouse did since she was being deployed within the following 3 weeks. Still did not really get a breakdown of fees but paid almost 500 for 2 sets of eye wear and this is with insurance. 2 weeks later went to get glasses and Lisa put my prescription in my spouses frames. To say not happy in the least. Then to reorder the glasses they put a rush on them but no time frame when we would get. We get a call that glasses are in and the only reason my spouse has it now was because thankfully her flight was bumped a day but we still had a travel time of almost 2 hours (round trip) to get them. Made it back to Hinesville 1 hr before departure for her. I am so dissatisfied with the quality of service. I called there main office was told several times the manager would call me back and still no call back. Would never recommend this company. I had them in the past and service was good even traveled out of my way to get to them but never again. Will take my business elsewhere.
Went in this past Saturday. The office was slammed, but it was like a well oiled machine. Everyone was so nice and didn’t make you feel rushed. Dr even took his time and answered all my questions. The main lady at he front counter was running everywhere and was amazing on top of everything. Awesome place and will be going back here from now on!!

I’m very indecisive when it comes to choosing glasses (or anything for that matter lol) and she was very patient and helped me choose the perfect frames and lenses. Ive been pleased overall with the experiences weve had here with my moms frames and lenses. Today, she told me the glasses were slipping on her face and so we stopped back in for a readjustment. The young lady who assisted us was extremely friendly, and even cleaned my moms glasses for her before we left. It was clear she wanted to make sure Mom was satisfied.

The manger Denise was rude and not concerned. Advised my daughter that there was no way this company lost her glasses that cost almost $700.00. She had to call this company four times to resolve her own issue (corporate office too). This company will never get our business again. Customer service should be your company’s number one concern! One bad experience ruins all the good ones. Denise work on your manners, it is the way you handled the situation that made my daughter angry. Go to leadership and customer service training. It is how you speak to people that can make a bad situation good! DO BETTER DENISE! !!
Karen is a phenomenal manager and she has unmatched customer service skills. Its so difficult to find employees anywhere close to having Karens capabilities and overall work ethic. Let me put it this way...if it werent for Karen and how patient she has been with me(and Ive been pretty needy)I would have gone somewhere else this year for my glasses. Many many kudos to Karen! We had a great time getting glasses for my 15yr old daughter. India helped us, and we throughly enjoyed our time with her. With minor mishaps with our prescription and frame choice, India made the time go by smoothly and seamlessly. We could have hung out with her all day. I was pleasantly surprised by this store. Id never been to a Visionworks before. Its set up much like a Lenscrafters but thats where the comparison ends. Visionworks was well-staffed by friendly, knowledgeable people. It was clean and well-organized. I was allowed to browse without being hounded and yet had all the help I needed when I was ready. I also had my eye exam there. My exam was thorough and professional. I felt like I mattered and my eye health mattered. I will definitely be back and will be recommending Visionworks to everyone!
The folks handling the customers were so rude and they say that they take 2 hours for lunch and till then customers need to wait.

Showed up with a prescription already, and the lady seemed to be uninterested. I had to ask for help and when what I liked wasn’t in the color I was looking for, she didn’t show more options. Just walked out after several minutes looking for something I like.

Just been here! Great! great service! I accidentally stepped on my husband glasses and we just moved here and didnt really know where to go. Before coming here, a couple stores told me there is nothing they can do... well in 5 minutes, the Gentlemen that assisted me, with lots of gentile and delicate hands, fixed them as new!!!! The team the the Pooler VisionWorks are absolutely amazing. I came into town for my engagement photos and left my contacts at home. They fit me in ASAP knowing I was on a tight schedule and got me out the door with new contacts to wear in less than 40 mins. They handled all my paperwork and had the doctor in with me right away. Everyone was so extremely friendly and accommodating. I can not recommend this office enough!

Almost had a terrible experience with their horrible receptionist, Lisa. Her lack of professionalism and rude demeanor will damage the trust of patients.BUT I am so glad I still decided to give them a chance because, the Doctor and Shelby made this a very great experience. I was treated with dignity and respect. I appreciate the time the Doctor took with me(given the anxiety I had at the beginning) getting glasses and finding out that your vision has gotten worse over the years was a hard pill to swallow, after my exam I got to sit with Shelby, who helped me choose a pair of glasses just right for me. She was so patient and so very kind. I thank her and the Doctor for their assistance and wonderful customer service

I recently stopped in with a pair of glasses that I accidentally bent up. The two ladies that helped me could not have been nicer. Very helpful and great customer service. I definitely have a go to spot for my glasses.
