My favorite store in Charlotte County! The woman who runs it must have read every book there is because she knows absolutely everything! She is so sweet, always recommends great books and I really like her. Heard a rumor she is leaving us and I just cried! I hope it is not true...

The Book Trader was one of the best local used bookstores! Marian and Sondra had that great vast knowledge of books new & old and you always felt warmly welcomed when you visited. Sadly, the store closed permanently earlier this year. I dearly wish the best for the ladies and hope their futures are bright.

I dont care what kind of book youre looking for. The book trader more than likely will have it. Sometimes even multiple copies. Everything from romance to science fiction to action and adventure or history. The owner of this store is a wonderful lady who has a beaming personality and is friendly and helpful finding anything that youre looking for. if youre a big reader like I am, youll find yourself coming out with multiple books. Original series of certain authors can sometimes be found as well. Do yourself a favor, go take a look. Highly recommended.

Its a small shop, but there are lots of books! Staff is friendly and knowledgable. I got a great deal on the book I bought and very happy with it. Definitely worth a visit! 📚

Went here for the first time yesterday. Received some credits for some of my used books, which I exchanged for a cool Panera Bread recipe book. The lady at the counter was very friendly. Many of the non-fiction and classic books were of excellent quality (very clean covers/spines)...I did not view much of the fiction section as my primary interest in the past couple of years has been non-fiction. Will definitely be back in future!

Great Book Exchange, although the store looks small is very large inside packed with books all different kinds subjects and even some new things to purchase. Fair exchange rate so far I visited only a handful of times. Well be going back

Although the store is nicely stocked the business itself is run very poorly & the owner does not treat her customers with the proper respect they deserve!! Plus they ruin the value of the books they do sell there by chopping off the corner of the cover so that you will never be able to resell it anywhere else again!! There are much better used & new book stores here in town dont waste your money at this one!!

Had not been in for about 12 yr. Took about 15 books in for trade only a few ..3?.. Were okd to trade .. She is limiting how many a title she keeps on stock.The. Prices on used books is about 2/3 of original price. I did not get how much she gives on for trade value ..was in too deep a shock at the $ she gave me for book i desired
