Kathy from the bakery took great care of me and set my cake aside. She made me feel like a valued customer! It felt like I was part of the family. Look how great the cake looks!

Ive tried calling the pharmacy dozens of times and NO ONE answers the phone, BAD customer service.

This Winn-Dixie happens to be one of the bigger ones in the area, having said that I prefer this one over the other ones. The selection is always pretty decent. And the prices are always comparable to everyone else in the area. I do wish their whole bean coffee selection would expand a little bit

I shop there for 20+ yrs, its located near my home, its convenient and has great sales. Best quality meats around at great price. Staff was always helpful and friendly.

I live this Winn-Dixie a lot. We go every week because of the great deals they have. Plus, there is always at least 1 item on the weekend only sale that we have to have. I love getting mystery points and earning points. I have walked in to get a few things and walked out paying nothing because I used my points. Its awesome. Ive also saved my points and got $.80 cents off gallon of gas.

Red haired Employee was extremely disrespectful and talking rudely about customers to other people like it was joke. Never shop here

My husband and I went to get a combo meal at the deli department today January 2 2021 at 11:00 am the reason to add the date and time is to identify the employee. This Woman treated us in such a nasty and ignorant way that we had to just leave our order and walk away. She attempted to sell us a incomplete combo at full price. When it was brought to her attention she just said we are out of stock 😱 we also asked how come other prior platters brought more fish sticks she got angry and said the night crew was wrong in doing but we looked at each other knowing we have always order our platters during this exact time. Its so sad that this was my husbands birthday and we were so excited but left so sad because of her actions. Will not be returning to Winn Dixie 😢😢😢😢😢💔💔💔💔💔

Calling all vegetarians. The deli makes a top notch vegetarian sandwich at a great price. The deli staff is awesome and well trained. I would highly recommend this place.

Called Winn Dixie corporation to share my experience I had with this store I wanted to reuse my bags and cashier had gloves on and handled money.... manager came over to correct a error and gave me a difficult time about my bags I told him she had gloves on that she could pitch after bagging so why give me a hard time I spend my hard earned cash at your store and then I get arguing with you there is no CDC guideline on it.... anyways all customers deserve a thank you after transaction as we all give you jobs.

Great place to get groceries. Friendly staff stocked well. Prices are fair with lots of things on sale. Plenty of Buy one get one free. Their chicken is very good. They have a chocolate cake that could be served at a 5 star restaurant. There is a wide verity of items. The produce is fresh and lots of it is local.

(COVID-19) I was considering buying some cherries from the produce section when I noticed a woman not wearing a mask carelessly picking through each and every cherry in multiple bags. This Winn Dixie clearly isn’t meeting safety standards with regard to the cleanliness and safety of their produce, and I would NOT recommend purchasing produce here if you value your or your loved ones’ continued existence on this planet.

So today I received word that an employee who works at this family oriented establishment has been bashing her own family, spreading rumors, and causing grief and heartache to the family of which she married into. She has been causing her brother-in-law and his parents (who are experiencing health issues) even more problems by spreading rumors and false allegations on social media with no regard for who it hurts physically or mentally. This employees name is Anita Weikel. I feel that this company would be better for letting her go if they truly are the family oriented company they claim to be. I know that I for one will boycott this establishment and ask everyone I know to do the same until she is removed from their employer roster. And not just boycott that one location, but all locations till she is let go. Thank you.

Not so good today, told to look by eggs for fresh pasta, not there had to walk back to the other end of the store to find where it used to, only now in a different cooler facing the opposite of how it was previously displayed.I would just like to come in shop for groceries hoping to find them where they always were. It took me several times to get used to the layout of the store, so please dont make changes.My suggestion is a kiosk near the front of the store that allows customers to look up an item and quickly find its location.

I went in for some snow crab but all they had was packages that were $ 30 to $40. I went over to the seafood counter and waited for quite a while.No one came over to help me. Previous times they have broken up the larger packages to a smaller package that I could afford but there was no one there to help me this time. I was looking for a couple other items but their prices are so much higher than all the other grocery stores I decided to leave instead of buying anything there

Selection is very limited compared to Publix. Seafood area and meats are questionable

Usually Winn Dixie its run down and dirty. Lets be honest. This Winn Dixie is amazing. Always clean, huge deli, fresh clean produce, nice staff. If you ever shop here it will blow you away

Very great place, Ive been going here since I was little and they are always so friendly. Everybody here is helpful and huge sweethearts. They have great deals and the layout of the store is easy to navigate through.

Specifically shopping for red wine, cheese and crackers and fresh berries..I really enjoyed browsing their wine selections and picking out a nice basic goat cheese spread to go with said wine....what I think is a good combination. Winn Dixie is my personal favorite... Ive been shopping here for years!!

Store #0736 in Port Charlotte is very nice compared to other locations. Its newer, cleaner and well stocked. We drove from North Port to go to this one. Highly recommend this location. Expansive deli and bakery as well.

Winn-Dixie is well-merchandised, clean, and bright. The checkout lines werent long when I was there on a Tuesday afternoon. The staff seemed pleasant and enjoyed what they were doing. There iś plenty of free parking right outside the supermarket. I visited the pharmacy and the pharmacist helped me price a medication. I didnt feel like he was trying to rush me at all and he was very courteous to me. Its a great store!*** Please Like this review. Thanks! ***

Winn-Dixie is surprisingly nice. The prices are good also. They have a great deli counter and a very large vegetable section.

Prices are very high. The hot daily is great. On a night you dont want to cook,you can stop in an get a prim rim dinner,Turkey dinner for a great price. Awesome baby back ribs. Ready to eat right away.lots of chicken wings selection to chose from.

Cecilia made us the best Cuban sandwich. It had lots of pickles and meat. It was very tasty.

I found the best avocado here. Also, I love how nice the interior of this store is. It feels very modern.

There is a $1 deal isle where you can find simple kitchen tools and sometimes expensive sports drinks that need to be sold quickly. Check the weekly deals out, you are able to save significant amount of money on meats.Has a Wine & Spirits Store next to it, they have great deals that are sometimes very hard to beat anywhere else with your savings card which is free.

Self serve Delis Asian section is a huge joke and the food smelled so bad I threw my tray away. Ended up going to mcdonalds across the way. Id been craving the self serve deli options for so long & came in to this travesty...shouldnt have changed the menu, there was nothing wrong with it in the first place.

Wow this was a great supermarket inside. Outside doesnt do the inside justice but the shopping plaza is going to do a refit. Easy to find items and the best yet NO HALF ISLE.

This store is very big and has lots of variety! The staff including the younger employees were very helpful (unlike the McDonalds in the same plaza) Everything was set up nicely and was easy to obtain. Great prices and sales and I love how even if its crowded everything is accessible!

I love this store! Great customer service and excellent deals. And the SE rewards add up the more you shop... So far Im at 1500 points which is like having $15 in cash to get whatever you want... Love this store!

Winn-Dixie is my go to for many of the items we use every day. They consistently have great deals on meats, and this is typically a large part of our grocery bill. The shopping rewards program is nice and makes me feel like I am getting even better deals. Staff is courteous and knowledgeable.

Winn Dixie is a great shopping center . Great selection! Prices are great . Many buy 1 get one seletions! Staff is pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Parking plenty and accessible.

Comfortable shopping(if you do not mind larger super markets), just be careful to check dates on food before you buy. They often dont put the new stock behind the old stock so you can sometimes end up with expired food still on the shelf. Also I was unable to use Samsung Pay or Google pay at this location.

I dont like to be negative but prices keep going up while the quality of products are unchanged. Once in a while you can get a good deal on meat. Staff is friendly.

Store Is clean. Associates are nice. Store is generally well stock all sale items are visible and stocked.

This is one of the larger Winn Dixie in Port Charlotte. The store looks a little dingy when you walk in, not clean and bright. The prepared food / Deli section is their best feature. The foods are delicious and presentation is good. The bakery on the other hand, is pathetic. A few fresh buns, and baguettes, is all they bake in the way of bread. You can get some fresh baked pastries, and donuts, but most of the offerings are prepackaged, from other sources.The prices are good, better than Publix, but more expensive than Aldi.The fresh meat Dept is a mixed bag. The pork price and selection is fantastic. Beef, cheap, but not chewable! Chicken and fish not outstanding.Overall a good place for family shopping.

I appreciate the friendliness & how employees are willing to help lift packs of heavy products (water), are knowledgeable where items are located & without hesitation, the service desk will correct any mistakes. Either the customers or the stores. I am very frugal & know that Winn-Dixie offers the lowest price when you buy their specials that are offered every week & combine the use of coupons. They also strive to keep as many check outs open as possible. The only negative experience Ive had, was being lazy & using my phone # instead of my card. I needed a pin # which I didnt know, therefore, could not use my reward points when checking out. Hope this helps!

Everyone is so helpful n it has the freshest food from produce to seafood. The n hit food kitchen area is ridiculously delicious. Hit food has flavor. Prices are great.

I used to shop here all the time, but dont anymore. I thought what I bought today was kind of high. 6.99 for 8 pieces of fried chicken seemed high to me and the pieces of chicken were so small it must have been the runt of the litter! The eggs seemed high also. I wasnt real happy with my experience.

I really like this Winn Dixie. Its usually not too crowded, the meat is of good quality, and the bogo chicken breasts cant be beat. And the employees are friendly and helpful. Sometimes theyre short cashiers but the ones working are pleasant.

Waiting outside for my senior friend to finish shopping, a young man Kids, who was working there, asked me if I needed a water while waiting. It felt like over 100* outside. He was so poliet, thoughtful and kind. Wouldnt even let me pay for. Was very rare these days..thanks to Winn Dixie for hiring such a nice person.

I shop there pretty regularly. They have better prices than Publix. I like their deli but they are not as quick as I would like. I like their meat but do not always have what I am looking for.

Some of the meat cases were empty. I couldnt find anything I went there for. A lot of empty shelves for a Sunday afternoon

I am closer to the north Port store but go to this one. It is so nice with a great selection of fresh, ready made foods and a great store layout.

Store was very busy with turkey day Shoppers this morning my favorite pie was not in the freezer section so I asked a young man that was working in the dairy section if there were any and he gladly checked in the store and said Ill be right back and went and got one out of the back for me which was very nice of him.

This is a new style Winn-Dixie. It looks a lot more modern and cleaner than the older style shops. Has a good stock and shelves are pretty full of items.

Dont know why Winn Dixie doesnt have stores like this one in Sarasota. This one was big, roomy and well presented. Every store in Sarasota is small, cramped, usually shabby and a little smelly. I would be a lot more inclined to shop with them if I had access to this kind of location.

Bought some shrimp 5 pounds fresh heads on we buy them once a week for our Sunday family day anyway one Sunday our shrimp was old told a cashier about a week later that I was disappointed and she came back to our surprise with 5 pounds of fresh shrimp I asked why?? She replied just to keep our customers happy we will always shop Winn.dixie

Get there early and you should be able to get most of the sale items. I go to this location after 5pm and theyre usually out of some of the sale items I was looking to buy. They have higher prices than most stores in the region on regular priced items. For example, $9.99 for a watermelon? Seriously? Even their sale price of $5 for a watermelon cant even touch Save-a-lot or Aldis price of $2.99. Other than all that, this store is usually clean and the restrooms are adequate. They also have free coffee and a small area with a few tables and chairs in the morning for those looking to chill.

Its really a nice store but if you dont have their saver card you get no sales! Im getting tired of that stuff so will keep shopping at Publix and Walmart!!!

The salad bar was a little sparse in the lettuce bins. Also the Deli offerings were slim pickings. Those are 2 areas that I go into a grocery store for. They did have a lot of deals going on chips.
