Kens a great, knowledgeable guy with some fast response time! I bought my first handgun from him and just now brought in my bolt carrier for a piston swap I just didnt have the tools for. He got it done and back to me in less than 2 hours! If I could leave more stars I would. Great guy and shop!

When booking our class we weren’t sure where to book and randomly picked K3 Tactical. Best choice ever! Ken took his time with us, educated us on everything we asked, took situations that could happen and made them relatable. He taught us about every single handgun we asked about. He even took the time to take apart and show us the internal workings of them! Being a person going in with very little knowledge, I felt like I learned a lot that most people wouldn’t take the time to teach. He was very personable, knowledgeable, and patient. He explained to us when we are ready to buy or have any questions that he will be there to help us out in the future. 10/10 will be recommending K3 to everyone we know! HORRIBLE ATTITUDE !!! WON’T sell you ammo unless you buy a gun from him. Refers to any vendor at a gun show as “Carneys” and openly complained about only making $.50 on a gun transfer . Was rude to my wife on the phone when asking if the gun had arrived his response was “ I don’t have time to go look Through over 200 guns purchased at the gun show just come in and see if it’s here !” Sounds to me like there’s possibly 200 new customers, but not at K-3 tactical they went out of their way to guarantee that not only will I never shop there I will go out of my way to tell people about my experience.

God has changed my heart and hope he changes yours too.

I have been around firearms the majority of my life. And just because I drive a car doesnt make me Mario Andretti, just like being able to safely handle a firearm doesnt make me a Seal Team 6 sniper. In the past I have taken several firearms courses but none compared to the class I took with Ken. I was at the North Port pd today to get my fingerprints and there were 37 people in line waiting for their ccw fingerprints. Honest hard working people are frightened as to our current events. If you want to ensure you can defend your self and your loved ones this is a great place to start. It was well worth the entry fee.

Excellent training!!! Because of the small class, it made it more personal and allowed the instructor to answer our questions with in depth responses. It also allowed us to ask questions without being self-conscious.Would recommend to anyone.

Love love LOVED this class! For someone knowing absolutely nothing (and I mean nothing) about handguns, I left feeling not only comfortable holding one but knowledgeable about it as well. He takes the time to work in small groups so everyone feels comfortable asking questions and getting familiar with the guns. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to get their license!! I also loved that he brought us to a range where we were the only ones shooting and spent time working on our form and again, make sure we were COMFORTABLE handling a gun. Kenneth Gill was very thorough in his teaching of the Concealed Weapons Class. We had a private class, and we learned so much. I was so appreciative of the way he taught, continually focusing on safety. He made sure that everyone was completely comfortable with the handling of many different types of handguns. When we went to the range to qualify, we were able to stay until all of us were satisfied and comfortable with firing each of the different handguns. That was huge in my book! I would highly recommend Ken to anyone interested in taking the Firearms Safety course. His cost is extremely reasonable and he is a very knowledgeable Instructor.

I took the concealed carrying class and it was great. Ken is very patient and understanding. He is a great teacher and breaks everything down in easy terms for people to understand. At the range he is the best. He really helps you become comfortable holding and handling a gun. He helps you know where you are shooting. If you are a person who is not 100% sure about guns and carrying this is definitely the class for you. I had a really good experience at K3 Tactical for the concealed weapon class. The instructor was very knowledgeable and informative in the information he provided to me. Very disappointed with this shop. My husband stopped in to order a holster and ammo. Ken at the shop has several times “forgot to order” when I called to check on it. Ultimately we never received any of our order or ever got a returned call (and wasn’t just ammo so can’t say it’s because of ammo shortage). I later found out one of my friends set up to have a custom green AR made. When she arrived to pick it up, not only was it black but he raised the price very high and told her to just buy green stickers for it. Another friend had told me she left several messages about wanting information about the class and her 1st gun purchase and never received a call back “twice”. Needless to say I will not be trying to do business with this man and his shop or send anyone his way. Not sure if he just doesn’t like to do business with women.

Ken was very helpful in answering all my questions. He is very knowledgeable and Carrys alot of accessories in store and will install for free. Definitely had a good buying experience and will be back.

This was an excellent class, the instructor was very knowledgeable and prepared. I would recommend this class to a novice or experienced shooter. I have been shooting for a few years and I learned some new things in this class.

A very interesting and detailed class Ken did a great job

Kenny and Lisa at K3 Tactical Training were awesome. Lisa checked me in without a hitch. Kenny taught the class and instructed us on the range. I learned not only local laws, NRA membership advantages, but most importantly, gun safety. I learned how to disassemble/reassemble my new gun but others as well. I enjoyed shooting on the range and wish we could have done more of that. I will have to take another class for improved accuracy and more advanced skills. Overall I was very satisfied with their professionalism and the fun we had. Id recommend them to anyone who wants to learn more about weapons. Thanks Kenny and Lisa! They really deserve 5 stars but Kenny did talk quite a bit and we ran over the time expected. ;-)

The class was perfect all questions thoughts douts were answered. Also my wife and I took the class, she went in with out being able to rack her slide, she now can fully function her firearm and get shots on target thanks to Ken with k3 Tactical i highly recommend this class to everyone.

Let me start off this review by stating before I took this class I could not even be in a room with an unloaded gun without shaking and all kinds of thoughts running through my mind – 1 word TERRIFIED. I finally brought myself to sign up for this course to educate and protect myself, minutes before the class started I found myself sitting in my car texting a friend that I couldn’t do it, and I wasn’t going into the class – after talking me down I decided to put my big girl pants on and go inside  Boy am I glad I did! This class was hands down the best experience I have ever had! It exceeded my expectations! The course was full of knowledgeable and valuable safety information as well as the laws. Kenny Gill, the instructor is by far the most patient man on the planet! By the time the 3-hour course had ended I was holding & dry shooting several types of guns with ease! I still can’t believe someone was able to make my fears go away as quickly as Kenny did! Kenny could answer all my questions (even the ones I thought were stupid to ask) and made me understand what I was asking. If I didn’t understand a question he would show me what he was talking about which helped me out a lot! Kenny is the perfect balance of professionalism and funny – he made the class such a positive experience for me! After the course, we headed out to the gun range, I am not going to lie my fears crept back up on the 7-minute drive over there, I allowed all the other classmates (which were 3 others, small and intimate class which was another plus for me) to shoot ahead of me. My turn up to the plate – GUESS WHAT? I did it and I did well! I had others in the class and the instructor complimenting me on my stance, grip and shooting – it felt good to know I have accomplished something I had fears about for as long as I can remember.I have been out of the class now for 3 weeks, but Kenny has still stuck by my side in every way possible to make sure I am 100% comfortable in the range. I have gone shooting with him every week since my class and I am getting better and better! My last time shooting I hit the bullseye (more than once). He is allowing me to try all types of firearms until I find what fits me. He is an absolutely amazing instructor and now a friend. If you’re looking for a concealed weapons class that #1 won’t break the bank, #2 is full of informative information & fun and #3 has a great instructor – LOOK NO FURTHER THAN K3 TACTICAL TRAINING – You will not be disappointed. I recommend this class to advanced shooters and beginners. If Kenny could get me to touch & shoot a gun, I am 150% positive he can teach anyone!
