I prefer the produce at qfc, even though the selection is more limited than Safeway. The store is better laid out and the meats seem fresher. The prices are better than Safeway as well.

Lots of items missing from the shelves. Extremely long lines at every register. Today was a first day of the new mask mandate. The signs on the doors indicating that masks must be worn are very small and not really noticeable. Overall a decent shopping experience. Cashier was friendly and I chatted up the people in line while I waited.

Debbie, the morning cashier, is unprofessional, rude, and wears WAY too much make up. You can’t cover up old and grouchy. This one star review is for repeated times of poor interactions and service.

I knew this place had a reputation for being expensive. I just bought a pomade here which was literally twice as expensive as other stores. This place is a SCAM. NEVER SHOP HERE. EVER.

Although most of the staff is friendly. Most seem to not enjoy their job and unless you are a known customer, many of them ignore you and chat with coworkers while you are checking out. My main concern is that they are very slow to check out so if you are in a rush, safeway down the street is a safer bet. They also do not wipe down anything. It is the employees choice and most seem to choose not to. Lastly they do not ask customers to keep their masks on. I see many customers not wearing masks correctly, like not covering their nose or completely on their chin. Their lack of care for the community safety and wellbeing is very concerning and sad and this time we are in. They seem to take the stance that they do the bare minimum expected and that your safety is your problem.Maybe they should close for public safety while our covid numbers are on the rise and then reopen when we dont have to worry about our health.

I actually like this store and the employees but they refused to kick out a woman who wouldnt wear a mask today and that stinks.

QFC Port Townsend is great, customer service is superb. Less foot traffic then the local Safeway. The lighting is non too harsh. Just the right selection of food stuffs. Quick service at the deli, the sandwiches are great if youre looking for quick lunch. Produce section is perfect. Parking lot is not a zoo. Its hard to review a grocery store, but there ya go googlers

There are only 3 places I grocery shop one is a family owned grocery store, the other is Grocery Outlet,and the third is QFC. I love QFC just as much as I like the others. Just a great all around store. Not stuck on its own brand like Safeway. I shop a time Safeway twice a year if that.

The staff here works hard to be helpful, friendly, and efficient. The produce department does a great job keeping everything looking fresh. The cashiers actually unload your cart for you and carefully bag your groceries. Im glad this store is smaller and easier to find things in than its local competitor. The store is set up logically, is well-stocked, well-lit and clean. Prices are competitive.

Best in town IMHO for specials on fresh seafood. Weekly specials throughout store worth following. Keep an eye open for managers specials in deli and produce. Friendly, helpful staff, and quick checkout as it is adequately staffed. Family rather than corporate atmosphere.

Friendly store and they taught me children are permitted to buy ibuprofen. I always thought it was illegal but I was told by store management. Which I trust.

Suuper small store! I just moved to Port Townsend from Seattle and am still trying to get used to the small town love and everything that comes along with it.. lol. Anyway, my point is that the QFC stores in Seattle are a LOT bigger then this one. However, they make it work the best they can with a great deli and wonderful customer service. Every employee that Ive spoken to, anytime I stop in, is always so over the top friendly and helpful.P.S. They also have a wonderful beer selection!! (:

Nestled in a small shopping area, across from the hospital. Plenty of parking, with a nice water view. Great variety, efficiency and friendly service. Their produce is of higher quality than most supermarkets.

Theyve locked up all the alcohol making checkout even slower, just when you thought that really wasnt a possibility. Why would you go here when you can go to Safeway 2 blocks down the road which has just about better (more of) everything?I used to spend $300/week at this place. Hope the loss prevention on the booze makes up for the lost customers.

We called customer service to specifically ask about their coinstar machine, the lady who answered the phone said yes we have one and yes its working.We drove 20 miles in 20 minutes, only to find a non-working coinstar machine.The checkers said the machine had been full awhile.Please customer service DO NOT answer the phone and give false information. Know what your saying before you say it!

Older store. Not many organic choices. No local suppliers supported. Still, a comforting place to get groceries.

I dont know. It isnt terrible. It isnt great. Just a nice store with the basics.

**UPDATE** Laura, the store manager, called me to apologize and said that the actions of the checkers were not store policy. Rather, the computer system needs some coaxing to deal with clearance items in regards to coupons and returns/exchanges. I appreciate her taking the time to talk with me and will continue shopping at QFC.This longtime customer never knows if the clerks will be rude or friendly. Today they acted like they did me a favor to accept my coupons and refused an immediate exchange (within minutes of checkout) because marked down items are a final sale. Even though the marked down items are the main draw of this store for me this kind of customer service, or lack thereof, makes me consider taking my business elsewhere.

We love shopping at QFC along with the gas points that are earned. The selection of items are so much better in the Port Hadlock store rather than the Port Townsend store

Please dont change. If I want huge and trendy Ill go down the street to the nearly always crowded Safeway. Actually, Ill just send my husband. If I want special, uncomplicated and guaranteed to have the odd item I cant find anywhere else in a grocery store, not to mention always friendly, Ill come here.

Every QFC is always a good deal, with a wide selection. This location has a great produce section with things like fresh tumeric, which is nice. The butchery section is better at the QFC in Port Hadlock though.

Best of the two grocery stores in PT. I like the Seattles Best Coffee instead of Starbucks. Any Kroeger rewards card will work. But I dont know how you locals pay these food prices year round.

I was little surprised by some of the prices in the deli, but over all its not a bad market.

The Safeway is better in almost every way, but they do have Top Pot pastry here.

QFC always has great produce and meat/seafood selections.

Out of the two quality food centers in Port Townsend and Port Hadlock I actually prefer this location over the Port Hadlock location they typically have more sales and more items than what Hadlock does
