If you are in a hurry, dont shop here. The staff here is friendly and helpful (5 stars), but the store is cluttered, dark and laid out in the oddest way. The produce section is not well-tended (beware of mold and fruit flies) and the checkout area is always congested--the line-up of customers waiting to pay is an obstacle for shoppers trying to go down the aisles. A similar problem exists at the pharmacy. I avoid this store which has just gotten worse over time.

The best Safeway for me when Im in town.....Im luv-in every minute of it!!!All of the employees are very nice & will bend over backwards to help your shopping experience a better one than if youd gone somewheres else to shop!!!!

That was one of the best burgers Ive ever had (in the top 10 lifetime-best)! And the cole slaw was outstanding - Ive never had vinegar-type slaw with such a smooth flavor! Excellent prices, decent service (it was very busy - I understand why) and amazing food make this a new go-to spot for me in Port Townsend!

London in Safeway is always taken care of us in good shape we enjoy it going there and I enjoyed the salad that the wife brought out and the chicken we use Safeway in poulsbo all the time

Was there for one item and waited in line for 30 minutes before opening a new check stand they move the guy behind me in the other checkout stand I waited anthore 20 minutes in line before leaving I wasnt even acknowledged would not recommend shopping here if u want service

I’ve been shopping here for years and I’m always impressed with how kind and professionally everyone is. I love that they have drive up and go so I can get what I need without going in but always love that when I do go in there is hand sanitizer and clean wiped down carts. They are rarely out of anything. We love Becky at customer service, she is always friendly, efficient and quick. They have coloring contests for kids and my 2 year old had so much fun coloring an Easter bunny this year!

Go to Dons pharmacy and try to avoid this Safeway Pharmacy. The market is good but can have a low stock at least during the tourist season from June through AugustPlease explain how to get to the Contact Us page. I am happy to help and I usually will talk to the store manager. In this case I am not sure what you want from me. All I know is that shopping on the weekends we find fewer items we are interested in and the store staff have indicated that we come on days when the stock is low. Tillamook Greek Yogurt in various flavors are often out, distilled water by the gallon (or distilled water in general), in June & July the Outshine fruit frozen pops were never available (although I did get some in the middle of the week once), peaches, nectarines and apricots are unripe (which is OK) but damaged and bruised, Almond Milk both Almond Breeze and your brand have been out of chocolate as well as 60 calorie regular, and other items we can find the tags for, but no stock. We paid for a years worth of delivery at home in Tualatin, OR, but cant use the service up here (understandable again, but...). Your customer service in the market is very nice and considerate. I have known several Safeway managers, one out in Enterprise, OR was a close friend and he insisted that if Safeway/Albertsons were in the customer service industry, that the customer came first. It was very rural, but even the pharmacy, when short staffed or backed up allowed certain store employees to assist in checking customers out. I will edit all this but I know no other way to contact you. The fact that you responded at all does indicate that this Safeway is open to improving which speaks volumes to me. The nicest Safeway I have ever been to, has big store offerings with a small town vibe. Very clean and great selection.

Fairly decent, no major problems, but the biggest is the restrooms. Great selection of products and nice employees. I personally think self-checkouts are important nowadays and they have them.

Visiting from out of town on Discovery Bay. Safeway was just a few miles from our homestead. On a Thurday in late June around 3:30 pm it was moderately busy. 5 checkstands open in addition to all the self checkout stations. Stopped for a drink at Starbucks upon entry and my drink was ready after checkout. Full deli with made to order sandwhiches, hot Chinese food, fried and roasted chicken, and fresh sushi by the on-site chef. Well stocked and plenty of choices. Complete with a pharmacy as well. Very nice and clean store.

Used the clean restrooms, grabbed some cold drinks and a few snacks and back on the trip. Smooth.

They usually have everything I need. Sometimes they get a little too busy so the lines take forever when it is but other than that its a good store.

Always super busy but impressed by they always have products and stock. Do not like how crammed in their parking spaces.

Customer service over all is great, employees are friendly and helpful but not in the way. Too many customers in at a time most days though, impossible to walk through the store without coming within 3 feet of a customer not wearing a mask or wearing masks improperly. Store should be stricter about mask policy.

I recently made a purchase for my local food business here in Port Townsend! I was in the meat market at Safeway and connected with Sean. Sean went above and beyond to help with product selection and insight on what would & would not work best for our thanksgiving project. Because of his help, we also made another couple purchases for upcoming events!I will continue this relationship because of my experience! Its great to not always have to drive an 1 hr away (2-3 hrs round trip) for supplies. Small business get pushed aside a lot. Sean & Vince made that feel different!Mike Harbin~Mo-Chilli BBQ~

Safeway is a great place for grocery shopping or just to pick up a few quick items. There is a good selection of products, everyone wears masks and seems to practice social distancing. Cheerful employees too.

The Safeway at home the employees are super friendly.....at this safeway the cashier did not say hi or anything and at the end he did not say thanks... just handed me my receiptand stared with the next customer....the bagger did not even say thanks...very unhappy place..

Fantastic customer service. All the staff couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful. They went out of there way to make fresh Guacamole for me today. I was so impressed and thankful for the gesture. I need it for a family reunion today🌱.

Typical Safeway. Usually no one on the floor to answer questions. Pharmacy is always backed up. Sometimes u get lucky and have a short wait at checkout but not often. Customer service not the best.

The deal is two shoppers had bandanas(lets hold up the stage, pard) and not face masks and they had trouble with the 6 foot distance and following floor arrows. Free country and no store people mentioned anything. Seems like covid precautions at Safeway are in name only.Check out attendant wiped down the conveyor belt and was super helpful.Will see how QFC does this week

Deli needs to watch their food for being over cooks or on the heat too long I had a pizza steak that was so burnt and overheated that it basically fell apart in my mouth

Horrible customer service at the pharmacy, I just got out of surgery waiting on my pain medication and when my wife went in the store we were told 30mins tops. Well about 2 hours later I call to be greeted by a rude lady with a horrible attitude problem who only told me I had to wait for my medication. 4 hours later I call once again to be told my medication wasn’t “bumped up on the list” and hadn’t even been started to be made. Thankfully the lady on the phone at that time bumped it up the list and I got my meds another 30 mins later, great job safeway pharmacy, I’m not one to complain but when I’m waiting 4 hours in post-op pain you would think my medication would’ve been made sooner or “bumped up on the list sooner?” Just a thought👍 Ps: fix your attitude problems

There are many nice people who work at this location. However, Beccy at customer service is wrong in the fact my people started the pandemic.

Safeway is a great store it has my favorite drink uselly in other stores there is only a couple in the store but at this safeway they had a whole aisle of it.

One of the nicest Safeways weve been in. Clean, well-lighted store, plenty of nicely displayed deli options.

I dont often shop at this store, its not my closest grocery store. However I purchased the premade holiday dinner this year because we only planned to feed 7 this Thanksgiving instead of our typical 15+ guests. It was fantastic! The turkey was juicy and delicious, stuffing was awesome, potatoes and gravy were good. Cranberry sauce was some of the best Ive ever had. All for $60. I highly recommend if you dont want to spend all day cooking everything yourself, consider picking up their premade holiday meal. Well worth the price, reheating, and clean up was a breeze. If we dont have a huge crowd for Christmas (doubtful because of Covid) Ill be ordering again next month.

I really love Safeway a lot I know a lot of people that work there and there all pretty friendly. Safeway has a very wide variety of things to purchase ranging from soda to toilet paper and it even has a hot food section consisting of things like chicken, potato wedges and some types of Chinese food.(personally recommend there bacon breakfast burrito add chicken tender definitely worth the extra 50 cents) really the only thing that prevents me from giving Safeway a 5 star is the fact that there lines can get pretty crowded later in the day not all of this is there fault but the self checkout machines have a tendencie to go offline and not be fixed for at least a day.

Has almost everything, nice clerks, exercising covid protocol and clean.

Its best to load sale items/ coupons for cost efficiency. Many products have increased price- leaving Safeway equal to QFC (up the street) prices. Most of the time the cashiers are understaffed and refer you to self-checkout. Beware: fruit goes bad quickly. Nice indoor plant section. Best to shop before 2pm.

I gave four stars instead of five, because its a lot smaller then most other Safeway stores. Everything else about the store is just fine! Friendly and helpful staff!

Its nice and expensive. I was playing the Monopoly game, I was excited about it, before the virus came to Jefferson county. Pam didnt give me the tickets I need to play, after buying the products I need to get it. After I payed She just left, no very nice

A little pricier, decent selection, produce section feels lacking... Gets very busy weekend evenings, but nice and slow in the early mornings. Love the self checkout. I know it means I have to work to check myself out, but it feels so much quicker when I have one or two items. Theres a red box, and a Starbucks, too if you are into those kind of things. Great staff.
