Ive heard they are good repair shop but I called in to ask a question and it started off on the wrong foot because I said hello how are you and she seemed confused by the question and said fine how can I help you very bluntly. then when I said Id like to bring my bike in she cut me off mid sentence before I could tell her why. She said heres our hours drop it off if you like and then hung up on me.I can understand if you are busy etc. But if you cannot be polite to people on the phone because you are busy then dont answer the phone.There are not enough good bike shops and repair shops in Portland that wont test you like this.

Ruthie is awesome! She puts her whole heart into every bike she works on, is enthusiastic about her work, and takes pride in it as well. Upfront and honest with costs, she will even recommend when it is time to throw in the towel on a bike (which is what just happened to me). Will be back with future cycles!

Ruthie is a young business owner who knows her business. My bike needed a major overhaul. She replaced a gear, a worn out tire and worked on other things. I now have a bike that was better than when it was new. I am going up hills without too much strain and bike feels lighter and more in control. I am forever grateful and will recommend Ruthie to every bike owner I know.

Just discovered this shop which is a gift to the Tabor neighborhood! Ruthie was wonderful and I simply brought my bike in and it was fixed on the spot! I also appreciate the accessible door options so alter abled people can easily enter the shop as well along with lugging your bike in without fighting with the door. I came in with a doozy of a project to completely rebuild a bike on a budget. Needless to say, Ruthie didnt have the time or resources to meet my needs. However, her advice on what I could do was great, she took a look at what I needed and gave me an estimate of what it would cost. Her communication was top notch and her opening hours are a god send. If I get this thing up and running, Ill be sure to come here for tune ups and upgrades.

Ruthie was very nice, no bike snobbery. She swapped my new inner tubes that I just bought with tubes that needed a longer stem, no hesitation. Charged nothing extra for the better tubes.

Dashed in for a lock and quick repair. Staff were super friendly and fast.Their early hours are really convenient if youre dashing off but need a fix.

Rad people own this shop. My broken brake cable (yes, it snapped mid ride, talk about terrifying, only have one) ended up only being a 15 minute and $15 issue and I seriously appreciate this place.

Definitely recommend this shop! The owner was honest and straight-forward and told me exactly what was up with my bike and what would be needed to fix it.

Awful, wouldnt let me borrow a chain breaker for a minute to fix my chain that had fallen off. Very unfriendly.
