Was recommended 7 corners by a friend cause its close to my house, but even if I move across town will still go there. I received amazing customer service every time I have called or visited. Gretchen and Cory are genuinely rockin awesome vibes. Super friendly and knowledgeable and didnt make me feel dumb for asking a lot of simple questions!! Give them your business this is a great and reasonable establishment!! Cute shop dog, too!! Peace love and bicycle grease
Hands down one of the best bicycle shops in town. The owners are super friendly and really know their stuff. They also try to make sure that you get the right thing for you, not for their bottom line. They do first rate work in the service dept and are one of the only shops that Ill trust to work on my bikes. Im a national medalist in cycling so making sure that a shop does quality work is a really big deal (safety!) to me, Seven Corners is always my first stop even though theyre the other end of town. Theyre that good.
1 of 2 things consistently happen when my roommates and I take our bikes to this shop:1. They fix our problem asap, its cheap af, and they are super friendly.2. They show us how easy it is to fix, and in the process fix our problem, and then wont let us pay for their help and wisdom! On other occasions they didnt have a piece of gear in stock and they LENT OUT THEIR PERSONAL GEAR FOR FREE TO TOTAL STRANGERSI have heard multiple similar stories from other neighbors too. Even if you dont need anything fixed on your bike, go pet their dog, and buy some chain lube or something. When people say support your LBS this is the bike shop utopia they imagine.
This family owned business never disappoints. Careful, knowledgeable, fair and honest, is all you need to know to decide to take your ride there for service. Oh, and their dog is just the sweetest.
Brilliant engineering, top-quality components, innovative design-- no, Im not talking about the bikes, Im talking about the bike mechanics. Corey and Gretchen use their knowledge and creativity to craft the right solution for your bike, your needs, and your budget, whether you need a long-haul ride for the kids, a new gearset, or help fixing a flat. Not only are they great mechanics, they are also great people--once even lent me a hard-to-find shop tool so I could fix a friends ride.
Corey is officially the most relieving and friendly person I have ever spoken with about bicycles.I was feeling adrift after having some issues with another local bike shop, and walked into Seven Corners Cycles based on a recommendation from a friend. I’m now sitting in my car immediately after the interaction I had because it was awesome!I am preparing for a Trans-American tour in a month and need some components replaced, and am considering which things I want to change on my bike before such a long trip. Without making me feel rushed or at all imposing, and without ever having met me before, Corey carefully listened to my concerns, priorities, and limitations for the vision I have, and in a very relaxed manner found a graceful solution.Very up-front about which components needed upgrading (he deemed none, the bike shop that shall not be named wanted me to upgrade everything).Very patient with my long list of questions, and stayed composed and cool as I rattled off the dozen topics on my mind. All that, and they have a cute dog inside, lots of friendly neighborhood customers, and the rest of the staff was incredible warm and welcoming.Anything that’s not already in the shop, they seemed keen on ordering for me. Super helpful! Thanks Seven Corners, you guys just found another new, loyal customer.
The nicest people and very helpful, great customer service and honest input for any cycling related questions. 10/10Bought new tires for my muscle bike and they offered me options in different budget ranges and applications. Couldnt be happier.
The people here are really nice and Corey did a great job on fixing my bike. He went through the options from least expensive to the costly if I choose. I really appreciate when mechanics tell you options instead of just pushing you into one option. They really seem to know their stuff even on complex mountain bike. Nice job guys.
Brought my 35 yo bike in for tires and service and he didnt even laugh. Seriously, this is the best cycle shop in town; knowledgeable, experienced, and FAIR, along with a truly friendly and engaging environment. Didnt try to up sell and genuine in their interest of a good experience. Oh, and they wont sell E-bikes...
Super welcoming shop owners who have never flexed their bike knowledge on me and made me feel bad for not knowing the basics of bike maintenance. They always ask about my upcoming bike adventures and seem genuinely interested. I feel well taken care of. Thank you so so much ❤️
This is the best bicycle shop in Portland! The owners are very friendly and they usually have what I need. Visit this store. You won’t be disappointed!😊
I love taking my bike here! It has an incredibly friendly and welcome atmosphere, and every one working there is super helpful and pleasant. Ive only gone in with minor bike problems, but I was in and out of there quickly
Very good bike shop . Great customer service
Seven Corners is IMO the best bike shop in Portland. Corey the owner is the absolute nicest, has generously fixed small things on my bikes for free over the years, or let me just come borrow a tool, shared knowledge without being impatient or snobby, and donated to small local non-profits I’ve fundraised for. I can’t say enough how kind friendly and helpful everyone is there.
OUTSTANDING SERVICE! They solve problems before you know you have one...
Absolutely amazing shop run by absolutely courteous and talented people. Worth the drive from Beaverton!
Wow! There are a lot of great bike shops in Portland, but this is definitely my new favorite for service. Open on Sundays, and Corey, the owner and lead mechanic, gives you the sense youre an old friend and welcomed guest in his living room while providing expert advice, fast service and remarkably low costs for top-shelf treatment.
Came in here yesterday because my tube started to go through my tire wall during my ride. The tall middle aged guy (didn’t get name) had my bike ready to go in less than ten minutes. Super nice guy too! (we made fun of the bootstraps ideology) Highly recommend this shop!
This place is great first time visiting the bike shop, great staff, friendly, good customer-service, huge selection of bike parks, very helpful staff, good prices. I like shops like this. Good experience. Be safe ✌️✌.
Ive been very happy with the service Ive gotten from Seven Corners Cycles. Corey and Gretchen are very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to work with. They helped me with a complicated (but successful!) bike frame warranty, and they made the process simple and easy on my end. Thank you both!
This has become my go-to bike shop in Portland and Im so grateful to have them in our community. Everyone Ive interacted with there have been very friendly as well as professional --- to that point that its made even a bad bike spill have a silver lining by getting to find this shop. They have good prices and good selection --- Ive gotten a helmet, a mirror, a new front wheel among other things there. You can tell they are dedicated to their craft and quality. They are also very responsive -- Ive called after hours and got a prompt reply the next day to my voicemail. Highly recommend & thank you Seven Corners Cycles for being awesome!
Best bike shop in Portland, hands down. Seven corners does excellent work and they are very knowledgeable about all things bike related. They are very fairly priced (even underpriced in many cases!). So kind and helpful. The best 🧡
The owner and his wife are super awesome people, and they have a super awesome shop dog. Who doesnt love an awesome shop dog? These folks care. I had a small-but-real bike problem and got it fixed while we had a great thru-the-covid fence chat. I live in Seattle, but will find a way to give them some real business. Thanks!
This is a great LBS. Corey is super friendly and service is fast and affordable. Great place for repairs, last minute accessories, and new bikes too.
Always fun and informative. Great job. Keep the rubber to the road!♥️🚲
Great service. great prices. great people
Always super friendly and very helpful with all your bike needs if they have something they suggest other close by places
They are so kind and so helpful! I got my bike tuned up here and they had me take a spin around the block to make sure everything was in order. I was still having some issues with my derailleur and they made sure it was working perfectly before I rode home. They also remembered my name when I returned a couple weeks later! Great shop! Great people!
In my experience, this is the best bike shop Ive ever used. What El Bulli was to food, what Feynman was to physics, what the early Simpsons were to TV, Seven Corners Bicycles are to bikes. I feel extremely lucky to be able to place my bike, my love, my sole mode of transport, into their capable and loving hands. A milky way of five stars wouldnt come close to assessing how much I love and would rate this bike shop.
Very nice and helpful people, wonderful dog
Excellent, personal, unpretentious service
Super helpful! Got my shifters tuned up in no time!
Great service and friendly staff. I highly recommend
I would highly recommend Seven Corners Cycles. They helped me find the exact bike I was looking for. It was a very comfortable buying experience and they answered all my questions. You should definitely try them out if your looking for a new bike or a tune-up.
Yep, another 5 star review for this place. Every time I go in, Im blown away anew. You can just tell that the owners mission/goal is to be helpful. Its seriously an awesome thing to behold. Super friendly, super helpful, super knowledgeable. My hats off to you.
I’ve come here for 10 years. Cory is the best. I don’t know him outside the shop (just soyou know I’m not his friend writing a review). I lived near the shop years ago and he’s helped me build a few bikes, but now I drive all the way across town just bc the shops so great. He’s just so nice and helpful and reasonable. Always feels like the work is solid, transparent, honest, and fair.
Corey is awesome--knowledgeable, up-front & down-to-earth. Thanks yall!
My bike shop and bike mechanic ... A+
Amazing service and very friendly people.Thank you!!!
Noticed that I had a flat at the light and was back on the road in 20 minutes. Changed the tube myself and had them fill it. Great service and hammy is awesome
Great people, great products, great prices. Just so much greatness!
Whenever I need service I come to Seven Corners. As nice as they come, service is great and fast and reasonably priced. Theres nobody I trust more with my bike.
Best spot in the world to get my bike some lovin. Been with Cory for 14 years. Not a better person to trust my bike with. Not one better person!
Once again, I was happy to receive excellent, prompt, and personable service from Corey and his staff. Ill never order bike parts from Amazon again. Why spend hours looking over reviews when Corey can give you great advice, personally based on you and your bike, while you stand there? And then hell install many items for free. Can a drone do that? Im sure there are many other great bike shops in Portland, but I guess Ill never know.
Great shop run by a lovely couple with a cute dog and good prices. What more can you ask for?! Im grateful to have this shop two blocks away and will definitely be going there for all my biking needs!
Great bike shop! These folks are friendly and they know their stuff. The repairs are very reasonably priced, and they never tried to upsell me. Ill be coming back whenever I need a tune up!
Super fast, super nice, super awesome! Great store for repairs and parts ya heard.
I came into get my tires changed. They were loooooooong overdue. I was bracing for a lecture for my lack of bike care, but instead came into so much enthusiasm to help. I really appreciated that! And my bike is riding so nicely too.
I had previously been having issues finding a rack for my mountain bike that would be able to carry pannier bags. After trying three different bike shops around town with no luck, I came to Seven Corners and Corey fixed me up with a rack that has been working great. Overall super friendly, great service, and very reasonable prices (the rack with installation was only $50, where another store had told me a rack like that for a mountain bike would probably cost me around $150-$200). Definitely coming back here for any kind of work I need done on my bike.
After cracking the frame of my previous ride I figured I would start my bike hunt at my LBS. Did my research first so I had a sense of the models and price range I was looking for. Chatted with Corey and looked at a few models, ended up coming back the following week and buying his personal bike from him so he can upgrade to a sweet new ride himself. Corey was exceptionally friendly and helpful, answered all of my questions, and overall I left feeling 100% comfortable and excited with my purchase. Strongly recommend this shop!
There are probably a lot of good bike shops in this town; I haven’t been to all of them, but I can tell you I will never need to look for another one as long as Seven Corners is around. It was 5 years since I had seen Corey and the rest of the staff, and they treated me like an old friend. I received great advice and fantastic service. They let me try out different models and helped me understand the different options within my budget. 10/10 would buy bike here again.
While my grandfather was alive, he was an avid cyclist. So when I moved from Texas to Portland, OR for college, he wanted to support me by paying to ship my bike. He called the president of my college’s bike club, and asked them for their favorite bike store to see where he should have it shipped and assembled. And that’s how my lovely relationship with Seven Corners began! I was not an experienced cyclist when I came to Portland, but a very scared 18 year old starting college in a new city. On my first visit, the staff went above and beyond. I was so fresh and new to cycling, and everyone was so sweet and supportive. I asked if I should buy a bell for safety, and one of the employees said, “ah I just usually kind of yell ‘on your left!’” instead of trying to upsell me, and instead gently introducing me to Portland bike culture! Then, they helped me figure out a good route back to campus for my first ever Portland ride, after not much street riding experience back home. Over my years in school, this was my FAVORITE bike shop. Whenever I went to the one closer to campus in times of desperation I was always sorry. This is my first time ever writing a review for a business, and I’m writing it because looking back, this bike shop had a big impact on a formative time for me! Sometimes subcultures like this can have a “too cool” attitude that makes it hard for newbies, but I genuinely feel this staff wants to encourage you to get out and ride, and provide you with solid advice and bike maintenance! I love this shop—don’t go anywhere else in Portland!
So good! Friendly, knowledgeable, fast, affordable, great location, etc.As a former bike mechanic, I hate taking my bike to the shop. Im usually met with condescending attitudes or mechanics that dont really know what they are doing (sometimes, both). The team at Seven Corners Cycles caught me off guard because I didnt get any of that BS. Thanks!
I feel lucky to have this local bike shop in the SE and on my bike commute route. It is so easy to decide to pop in and ask questions or get my bike serviced. Corey and crew are professionals and great people. Great customer service, great prices, and excellent work.I just had a front wheel built with a dynamo hub and it took two days for the rim to arrive and a day to build. Corey even transferred my brake rotor and tire from my old rim, and he wired my light to the hub. I’m a happy guy when I get new bike parts and Corey was genuinely happy for as well.
These guys are GREAT! Corey and Graham did excellent work on my husbands e-Bike setup at a very reasonable price. They had an incredibly quick turnaround when other bike shops were out 2-3 weeks. They also sold and installed some accessories on my new e-bike right on the spot. They will be our go-to bike shop from now on.
Without a doubt the best bike shop I have ever gone to and will ever go to.
Cory is one of the most sincerely nice and helpful people Ive ever had the pleasure of meeting. He genuinely loves bikes and every time Ive come in hes gone out of his way to help me. Im very tall and so finding bikes that fit me is a real challenge, but Cory has always done his best to help me, even custom building me a bike using one of his own old bike frames. Seven corners is easily the best bike shop in Portland.
Came in for a couple small things, but the staff is great! I wish I bought my bike here! They have a great selection of bikes and accessories. Not overpriced. my favorite in this area 😊
Great shop. Great people! Cool bikes! Excellent service. Ive known of 7-corners for 10 years now and am always happy to swing by and say hi to Corey and his crew. A truly excellent, local, Portland bike shop. Highest of recommendations.
Hands down the best bike shop I have ever been to. Corey is amazing - extremely knowledgeable, reasonable, and a stand up guy. Graham is also great too! Service is always exceptional and very fairly priced. 10/10 would recommend to any biker.
Corey and Gretchen are awesome! Got our bikes done so we had them for the long weekend! Thanks!
Always willing to help. Friendly and knowledgeable. Everything you’d want in a neighborhood bike shop!
Not the happiest people working here
Corey (owner) is great. Always can trust him to give me an honest opinion. Products are all well chosen and quality. Best shop for getting what you need without getting swindled into more.
Im a Scot visiting Portland on a bicycle touring holiday. My bike was damaged in transit, Corey diligently repaired the bent chainring and got me rolling again. On my return from the miles crossing passes in the Cascades, my disc brake pads were ground to the back plates and a gear cable was frayed to its last strand, even late into the afternoon, with closing time looming, Corey fixed both and still took time to listen to my tales from the trip. If I were resident in Portland and looking for a friendly bike shop, Seven Corners Cycles would be my first and last stop.
Know very little about bikes. I went in because my gears werent shifting correctly. Greeted with a smile from all employees in the store. One of the guys asked what was up, fixed the issue within 5 minutes (new cable stretched some so he tightened it), pumped up my tires and sent me on my way. He wouldnt let me pay for such an easy fix. Great service from people who seem like they thoroughly love their job.
The only bike shop we go to! The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they do incredible work!
Stopped in to test ride a few bikes and was delighted with the staffs knowledge, friendliness, and sense of humor. It was really refreshing to have someone willing to spend almost two hours working one-on-one with me to fine tune and swap components on a variety of bikes to search for a that fit my body and my needs. Although their inventory is smaller than some of the other local big guys, this was more than made up for by the care, service and simply fun of shopping for a bike with these guys.Simply put, buying something from good people makes for a good experience.I cannot recommend Seven Corners highly enough.
Been going here since the old location up the street on Division. Hands down best bike shop in town, nothing else comes close
This was the best bike shop I have ever seen! reasonable price, super helpful, and these guys just really know and love bikes. they will fit you to the bike you want and need without trying to sell you more bells and whistles. highly recommend!
I received a gift certificate to another bike shop, but I just couldnt go. I decided to pay to have my bike fixed at Seven Corners instead because I just trust and like them too much to go elsewhere. On my most recent trip, I wasnt even sure how much the fixes to my bike would cost, but I knew Corey and crew would take care of me. They had my bike repairs finished within the day at a price that I wouldve gladly doubled for the same service.I definitely recommend Seven Corners Cycles for friendly service at a fair price without bike elitist attitude. Ill never go anywhere else in Portland.
Im so glad we bought our bikes at Seven Corners. We were so impressed with the attention and time we were given to make an informed purchase (with Coreys help). And now the ongoing service we receive is the best. It is a bit of a ride for us to get there from the NE, but the service is so good it is worth it.
Corey and his crew are extremely helpful, friendly and provide high quality work. They always make you feel you are a valued customer. I cannot say enough good things about them, they set a very high bar for the overall level of personal service.
Cory and his crew have been taking great care of our bikes for years. When our Marin was stolen a few years ago they took the steps to help us contact Marin and get all the information the police needed to release it back to us! Every time we need someone me thing for our bike commutes they are the best. We refuse to go to any other shop if we can help it. Thanks crew!
All of my gears work now. My brakes work better than ever. Paid less for my tune up than expected. These guys are the best!
Fixed my bike up fast. Great service. Great price. No need to go anywhere else.
My wife and I are in love with this place! Hands down, they are the best bike shop in town. Corey and his staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and have a great selection of bikes and equipment at very reasonable prices. I am continually amazed at the level of service they provide and will never shop at another bike shop in Portland!
Amazing service and friendly vibes. I really recommend 7 corners cycles. I got to ride several bikes around to make sure they had a good feel and ultimately ended up with something I was sure that I loved.
I will reiterate what everyone else is saying, this is best bike shop experience you can have. Staff is friendly, helpful and prompt.
Best bike shop around! So patient and helpful in the search for a new bike! Great service, friendly & Cory is a bike genius.
Just bought my first bike from these guys, and I am beyond impressed with how helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly they are. I was able to test ride multiple bikes for as long as I wanted, and Cory was willing to spend time adjusting the bike until I felt like I was paying for exactly what I wanted.Absolutely excellent.
Best bike shop experience Ive ever had. I am now a customer for life. I went in for chain oil, hoping that would solve a hitch I had in my chain. Gretchen was so warm and helpful, and before I knew it Corey was doing a mini eval and fix for me. He explained what was happening, only after making sure he wasnt telling me things I already knew. I really appreciated that consideration (no mansplaining here) as well as all the knowledge (cause I had none). There was no charge for the eval and fix, and I felt no pressure to purchase anything (although I did). The shop felt welcoming and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Cannot recommend this place more.
My wife and I bought two Surly LHTs from Cory several years ago. Great service and always open to taking calls and answering questions. When I am ready for a new bike or accessories, I will go see Cory. GREAT bike shop and even BETTER customer service. The only problem is I wish they were not 2 hours away... :-)
Probably the nicest people Ive met and quality work. Only wish they had a larger selection of accessories/clothing and additional bike brands. Easily 5 stars just wish they were the all in one.
Really nice and friendly, went in to get my gear shifter fixed and they had it done In a jif.
Incredibly nice staff and awesome service. The guy who helped me out answered all my questions and gave me a lot of great advice on how to keep my bike in good condition. It was a great experience!
I have had a great experience from the moment I went in to look for a bike. Just had a major service done and they finished it with time to spare on Sunday to save me from a tough commute! These guys are the best!
These guys are the best! Theyre friendly, helpful and truly know their stuff. The shop is well stocked with everything you need and theyll take care of novices and experts alike.
As always at 7CC, my sad worn out bike was tuned up quickly, expertly, and at a very reasonable price, and is now a very happy, perky bike. I feel better, also. Thanks Corey and 7CornersCycles, for being the best neighborhood bike shop!
This is a great shop, the service is fantastic, and the prices are great. I shopped basically every shop in Portland to find a bike that fit me correctly. Cory hooked me up. He couldnt be a nicer guy too.
Quality inventory, excellent service, reasonable prices.
The staff are wonderfully friendly and communicative. I was super happy with their diagnosis of what my bike needed, as well as the end result. The prices are good as well.
Corey and his team are the best. Full stop. No other bike shop matters to me.
I don’t write reviews often, but this business is the real deal. Seriously, take your bike here, you won’t regret the service, the friendliness, and the expertise.
Highest quality repair, wonderful simpatico people. The best. I bake them cookies. Corey sets the tone.Marvelous neighborhood resource.
Bought a Coda Comp there a few months ago, and have since been in for my first tune up, fenders and a rack, and a flat fix.Lovely people, quick service (about an hour, without an appt), reasonable prices (free tuneups for bikes purchased there, installation included with everything I purchased) and a friendly staff. They even gave me two hooks to use to hang up our bikes.
I honestly think it would be impossible to find a shop that provides better service than these guys. Also, they love dogs, bring your pitty.
