This place is amazing. I’m so bummed I didn’t find it years ago. I love the Rebuilding Center on Mississippi, but it pales in comparison to this place as far as reclaimed building materials. The manager lady is super helpful. The only negative is that, with the exception of most of the wood, items aren’t priced. Besides that, it has the largest and most affordable inventory in the Portland area.

This place is great! They are similar to other local hardware & building materials resale yards, but with better prices, and friendlier, more neighborly attitudes!As with any salvage reseller, sometimes they wont have exactly what youre looking for, exactlywhen you thought ti look for it, but the staff are really helpful, and will assist you in locating it, or at least ascertaining that they dont have it at that exact moment.The key is to keep stopping by, since, unlike many other local salvage resellers, they are actively deconstructing old homes & buildings, so new stuff comes in regularly.

Great place to get salvage wood and home goods!

Besides a ton of other fantastic finds, they have a great selection of good quality reclaimed lumber. The staff are wonderful. Tracy was kind enough to help me find exactly what I needed and Rudolpho was knowledgeable, friendly and helped us cut the piece of Doug Fir I chose. Glad to have them in this part of town!

Great for cool old things and parts, complete rip off on lumber. $45 for a 10 4x4 full of screws and nails thats $16 brand new at a big box store. When confronted they mumble something about old growth even though its obviously from like 2002. So, great for anything but lumber. Unless you wanna pay bougie prices for that precut jean look for your gentrified bungalow.

Back in the days of good ole boys (ralph miles liquidators) it was pretty great.But the new owners have made it Totally Great!The old inventory has been re-organized in a way that is aestically attractive, and easier to shop. Plus theyve added lots of additional vintage materials, to round out the experience.Every time I visit, it gets better, and actually fresher, in this huge cavernous building!Always an enjoyable visit.Awesome staff too!Rock solidHighly recommend

This was not against the worker who was as helpful as possible nor the meters. This was about paying 5 bux for something that was both filthy and nowhere near what we explained needing and driving back to get what we needed at Ace for literally half price without getting splashed in the face with a leaking roof. Thats the kinda thing we put up with expecting a deal. Please dont take it personally you were great.

This is my favorite place to go. Always finding very interesting and cool stuff. For my projects. The costumer service is excellent and very helpful.I visit this huge warehouse often.

Great staff and prices

During covid, i picked up some DIY wood projects online. This place is absolutely amazing. Reclaimed wood for cheaper than big box stores. And Tracy and Savannah are extremely helpful! Highly recommend coming here for any DIY projects. Wood pieces are beautiful and theres so many cool things to be found here.

I needed 2x6” fir timbers for a screen door project and found just what I needed. The door is coming along nicely. The staff was awesome and helpful.

I love it here. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They accept some building supplies for store credit. As a contractor, it makes doing business with them even better.

I found the perfect reclaimed wood for my project. Its so cool having wood older than my 50s era house.

In the past two weeks I have been here twice. The selection of reclaimed lumber is second to none! The staff is very knowledgeable and go out of their way to help you find what you were looking for. Even if it means going through piles of boards one by one (which was my case). This business is truly special for their service as well as their mission. Check them out you wont be disappointed!

Reclaim NW is amazing. I just bought shiplap wood for the walls of my living room. It was just installed and it looks incredible. I also was able to find a antique rustic fireplace from a 1906 Portland home. I was remodel my entire living room for such a reasonable price. Reclaim NW has the best product and prices in Portland. I shopped around!
