Everytime I visit Portland I always make time to come here. Got a Sam Flores shirt years ago from my brother and been on the hunt for more ever since. If youre into unique art apparel at semi-reasonable prices, this is absolutely worth it.

This place is awesome. They make shirts sell art of all sorts that is freaking awesome. I buy lots of shirts and some paintings for my place. If your into modern kind of urbanesqe art/amazing graffiti and graphic design definitely check this place out.

This place always has great shows and good clothes to check out. Ive seen and met so many rad artists here. The staff is always friendly and helpful without being pushy and over bearing. I like the remodel they did on the gallery space to open the area up more. Sure, theres less room for art, but its less bottleneck and more flowing through the area.

They rearranged the inside and its great. Its more open the t-shirt maze is gone yeah. They made the artist room (I dont know what they call it ts my Nick name) and thats where they have art books just cool stuff to check out and buy. Correct me if Im wrong but the prices seem lower than before for their awesome collection of unique stickers patches and collectables. You want to find a unique Xmas gift I strongly suggest Upper Playground. Staff is always different but cool and helpful. They have my recommendation. The re-do of the place pushes em past 5 stars GOOD JOB UPG!!!!

All around a great experience. Friendly staff, beautiful arts, and a great layout. I had fun exploring the apparel section and got a couple new pins for my hats. If you havent been, i strongly recommend popping in and checking out the art they have. Artists i love and ones Ive seen but didnt know who they were! Love love love it!

Local gallery and retailer of locally produced customized t-shirts and clothing. They have some rad clothes here. I really liked their Cascadia tee.

The T-shirts were OK but I feel the service is horrible I wanted to Exchange a T-shirt I purchased there less than a week ago. I didn’t have the receipt but have the tag and they just physically will not allow it without the receipt.I think looking for an even exchange of a different size is very fair without a receipt. It was also a birthday gift otherwise I would’ve been sure of the size

Ive been following Upper Playground collective since the beginning days of Juztapoz art magazine. When I went, my favorite artist Tara McPherson was doing a pop up show in the gallery there. They had art books, artwork, and art on clothing for sell. Kinda a California, trendy kid vibe from the young people who worked there, which I wasnt stoked on. They werent rude, their overall cooler than thou demeanor was just a little irritating. Art seemed to be reasonably priced here tho.
