Really good donuts! loved having so many options! Downside was such a long line, so obviously a bit of a wait!A little pricey but tasty enough to make up for it.
Drove in @ 6:59am, walked in at 7:00am, right as the door opened...The staff was so friendly and patient with me, and also, made really great suggestions. Love all the little details, like the Chandlers, decor, pinball machines, photo booth...and the ART, is so fantastic. And last but not least, as every says, Freakin Phenomenally Delicious Donuts!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
What can I say? It’s my favorite place for donuts in Portland. I used to bring them to my family in LA until they opened one in universal city walk. The grape ape is the one I crave. My kids LOVE the voodoo bubble(bubble gum) but all their donuts are so fresh. The location downtown can get a bit sketchy when you feel surrounded by homeless people at night but it’s not the business fault. This location is more organized and lines are shorter. It has a nice parking area(free). The people that work at voodoo are awesome, from the owner to whoever is cleaning. Thank you for such a unique donut shop.
This location is way better than the downtown location. Its bigger, and Ive never waited more than about five minutes in line. Its way cool that they have two vintage pinball machines, but they loose a star for not keeping those pinball machines operational. That penls and balls doughnut seems to be bigger each time I go in there . . . .
Love the different choices. The names are unique. I bought, and ate, way too many delicious donuts. Everyone should go and do the same!
Voodoo makes very good donuts. Theyre not the ultimately best donuts, and locals like to rag on Voodoo in favor of some niche, hipster and excessively expensive place, but Voodoo does a great job. If youre looking for a classic donut with fun flavors and a twist, Voodoo is great. Also, they offer $10 buckets of day-olds (~40 donuts) which is a fantastic deal. Sometimes Ill buy a bucket and pass around to homeless folks, which seems like a decent way to spend $10 and 30 minutes.
VOODOO DOUGHNUTS IS THE BEST!!!Haha... sorry went a little crazy there...These are no run of the mill donuts people...Hand made, hand decorated, heaven in my mouth. Darleen helped us with our selections which were amazing. Super fresh, fun flavors and combinations. Coffee, tea and water are also available for pairing. Definitely a stop you want to make during the week or weekend!!
Very good donuts. Go for the atmosphere. Great selection, not so large as to be overwhelming.
On a quick stop in Portland we wanted to grab some of the famous Voodoo Doughnuts! We opted for this location since the Old Town spot had a super long line. There were so many donuts to choose from (including vegan options!). The staff was really friendly and our cashier even comped us a couple since we were having trouble making decisions. Super creative and delicious doughnuts!
🍩Voodoo Doughnut - Davis 😋1501 NE Davis St, Portland, OR 97232 USACant visit Portland without getting some delicious Voodoo Doughnuts! Seriously, you cant go wrong with whichever doughnuts you pick .They have a lot of delicious donuts to choose from, as well as many unique ideas that you cant find anywhere else. They are very interesting. Its usually very busy, but its worth the wait, parking spaces are hard to find.😋Maple Blazer Blunt🍩Chocolate Old Fashioned
A must every so often. I know the quirkiness and ambiance are part of the experience, but living just miles from new Vancouver store means I can get my fix without winding through Portland.
Not as crowded, and the staff is amazing. They have a cute little mini trailer and truck on display as well as a Voodoo Doll shrub.
VooDoo offers a few very tasty vegan donuts. Not a huge selection but enough that I can get something great when my non vegan friends want to go here.
Very good, creative, and reasonably priced doughnuts in Portlandia. The Oreo doughnuts are always excellent (I.e. Dirt and ODB), as well as anything with sugary cereal on it (Captain Crunch anyone?), but my new favorite is the Memphis Mafia — it’s like a banana fritter topped with peanut butter, chocolate, and chocolate chips. Divine. 👌 OMG
These are worth it... the donuts were so soft and fresh. The flavors were perfect and not over bearing. We got the coffee donuts, the apple canoli and the mango donut... So good... the staff were so nice, helpful and patient as we picked out from the many choices. Go here!!
The doughnuts were good. We only got a few ones, like some homers—would recommend. Don’t order cocoa, though! It’s horrid.Oh, and this shop has free parking in the lot, so you don’t have to worry about that if you’re just stopping by.
Doughnut place listed in one of the tourist attraction. I was all ready to buy doughnut from here but when I saw a huge line I was more curious. A shop which is pink and the doughnut name are so different is a must try. The doughnut was soft and tasty. We bought doughnuts were : guava colada, spicy Margherita connolo, peanut butter connolo, maple cream and chocolate cream.
Online order has made it easy for pick ups since you can avoid the line. I wanted to try it out since it is such a hyped place in Portland. I got a dozen of custom donuts and tried them. I was really DISAPPOINTED. It was TOO SUGARY for my taste. And thats coming from someone who has sweet tooth! Yes they do have varities of flavors and vegan options but too sweet. I dont know what the hype is all about! Brand name I guess! But if you feel disappointed because you couldnt tick off Voodoo from your must try food while in Portland, trust me you missed nothing!UPDATE: Only the plain cake, chocolate doughnut and portland cream was edible! I took a bite out of all and had to discard others!
VooDoo has always been a place I wanted to visit. Flew in to PortLand last night and we said screw it we are going. Super short drive from airport to this shop. You step outside of the car and instantly smell fresh donuts coming from the store. Very well maintained building and incredible friendly staff. Opened the box this morning and the aroma of the donuts and the store hit you in the face with freshness!!!!! Make the drive and find out for your self
I am visiting Portland and I knew I HAD to stop by Voodoo! Ive been to their Colorado location, so I know what theyre about, so of course I had to stop by while Im here! Once again blown away by their vegan donughts. You just cant get them anywhere else! Great atmosphere and staff, never disappoints!
Delicious Donuts, lots of variety, well made, great presentation, very good customer service.
We went here as our first stop in Portland. The doughnuts are very good - a bit on the sweet side - but very good. What honestly impressed me the most was the staff. They were helpful had a great vibe. NOTE TO THE OWNERS - your staff is incredible:)
Here from NJ. The donuts and the people were awesome!! Ordered 8 just to try different ones!!
I always walk out 10 pounds heavier! Best donuts ever! Loaded in pretty pink boxes!
Our trip to Portland was not complete without a visit to Voodoo Doughnuts. Delicious and not busy during our late Thursday afternoon visit.
Their donuts are just pure sugar hell. If you can stomach to eat just one, I applaud you. The best one is just the classic glaze, because it has the least amount of sugar.Everytime I have gone in there they have given me free donuts, so this is in no way a reflection of the staff - they are always incredibly chill. This definitely is a novelty and only visited because visiting friends or family want to try. Compounded onto the rating is the shenanigans they pulled during the heatwave, that left a bad taste in my mouth...like their donuts.
Amazing customer service! The first time at Voodoo can be overwhelming... And the server who helped me was more than helpful. My wife was pleasantly surprised when I brought the dozen home from my trip out to Portland.Thank you!!
Donuts are ok, but little touristy. Better donuts can be found at more ethical businesses.
Donuts are delicious. This shop is not busy as the one in old town.
The most adorable Donut shop Ive ever seen! When I was paying for my donuts I asked the cashier, Emily what her favorite donut was. She said she liked the strawberry flavor one! I told her that I loved strawberry flavor and that I would try it the next time I visited. She said that she would buy the donut for me!!! It was such a sweet gesture, Im not familiar with Portland and it just meant so much to me that a stranger would do something kind for another stranger. I would definitely recommend!!
Such great donuts and a even better staff.
OMG!!! So many varieties to choose from. It is truly an amazing shop definitely must visit if you come to Portland an amazing donuts with wonderful customer service. This shop in the arrangement itself is so mesmerizing.
Donuts were great. Understand with covid they arent doing indoor seating. Would be nice if they had more outdoor seating. Ended up eating at our car.
Great and decadent selection. We got lucky and found the one time they werent packed. 👍👍
Excellent donuts with wild topping concoctions. Take your time... choose wisely... then get more!
Great customer service and selection. Tasty
It used to be that Voodoo was the only spot in town for vegan donuts, but thankfully that has changed. While I appreciated the vegan options 10+ years ago, my most recent experiences all left me with a stomach ache from too much sugar (and I love me some sugar). With recent news about how poorly Voodoo treats their employees, Ill not be back. There are far better options for vegan donuts out there these days!
Lives up to the hype. Great pastries. A pilgrimage must in Portland Oregon.
Loved the doughnuts.
The grandkids were wowed! What’s not to love about novelty donuts?!
There was almost no line and the was plenty of parking. We got a mixed box. I really didnt want a donut with cereal on it but then it would change the price or something so I consented but it was stale. Theyre fine donuts I guess but some donuts took on the flavor of other donuts and just wasnt pleasant. So, eh. Ill be sticking to our local doughnuts.
Portland classic — amazing donuts and great service!!
Iconic doughnut place in Portland. Staff was super nice. Definitely a must-visit!
Awesome Place had the pleasure of visiting would definitely go again but the raise the glaze are really really good thats all I tried but they have an array of donuts they got a Metallica pinball machine always a line but it goes really fast nice location situated in Old Portland
Best donut shop in Oregon. It was delicious and they had so much flavors to choose from. Definitely worth visiting.
If you have a sugar-tooth or you just need a sugar fix, make a stop at Voodoo Doughnut. Voodoo has a marvelous selection of creative combinations you probably dreamed of (Vegan as well)… That pastry dream lives here at Voodoo Doughnut. A couple nightmares live there too but, it’s all good.
Super cute and really nice cashier.
Walked in, was immediately greeted! Short line, this was a Tuesday morning. Went with their Bacon-Maple Bars, Pride Bars, a couple of Homers, and theyre special of the month Horchata donut. My group was delighted with all the donuts. All fresh and delicious! Cant wait to go back!
Ordered pickup on a Sunday morning and arrived about 20 minutes later. Got there and parked in one of the pick up stops and called for my order. Almost 20 minutes later and it still hadn’t come out. Called again and it was brought out. Great vegan donuts, delicious and tastes like regular donuts, but be prepared to WAIT. As I was driving out, the line was out to the street. Friendly customer service.
Nice location with ample parking, fresh doughnuts and friendly staff. She accidentally broke a fritter so included a free one.
Travelled.to California. Brought a piece of Portland with me. My family was super happy.
I LOVE VOODOO DONUTS. I live in BC, my boyfriend lives in Redmond, WA. We love grabbing some donuts before we head home. It was our first time to this location and it was great. Far less busy than the other location, theres also a parking lot. The guy who helped us was really awesome, friendly and patient. Cant wait to come back!
Whenever we pass through Portland, this is a go-to for a lot of kinds of delicious doughnuts. They have a ton of good vegan options too.
Tried the vegan donuts. The donuts were too sweet. They tasted like regular donuts. Doesnt live up to the hype
Nice and fresh. Awesome selection. Friendly staff, several locations.
Very creative donuts. Friendly staff. Fast service. Great options for donuts. Generous portions. We saw Kenny Rogers.
So cool! Cool location: store, parking lot, landscaping, building are all themed up for Voodoo. We went inside to order and the people are so down to earth, friendly and patient. We ended up with dozens - and the quality of the donuts is fantastic! I feel I got more than my moneys worth.
The donuts here were great! Very tasty and the bread on the donuts were soft and not dry. I think the only thing that we thought that stood out to us was the customer service. The worker was a little bit tough to talk with when ordering, they may have been having a bad day. But overall, it was great!
The kids loved the doughnuts. Always worth stopping when in town.
I LOVE THIS PLACE DELICIOUS
You cant do wrong with donuts. And these are fabulous! Plus the service was friendly and courteous. Great late night guilty snack!
So great! The doughnuts are tremendous, and gigantic! The boxes are adorable, as are the doughnuts. This particular location had such a great atmosphere overall, and really accentuated our trip to Portland this year. I even got a shirt! The employees were very helpful as well. 10 out of 10, will definitely come again next time Im in town.
Cant visit PDX without getting some delicious Voodoo Doughnuts! Seriously, you cant go wrong with whichever doughnuts you pick!
Staff was so friendly and helpful. Had no problem answering questions! Cant wait to dig into all these donuts
Great doughnuts. Love the fall seasonal donuts!
Not a huge donut fan, but I love the funky vibe and the packages you can choose from. Also love that they have their vegan versions to cut out all the dairy. If you are in Portland, you have to try it once.
