I ordered a garage door and opener in January. It finally came, but was the wrong door. The installer was fabulous. We contacted Bruce and he re-ordered the door. It was installed the end of May. Bruce discounted the door for the inconvenience. The installer was fabulous and Bruce was wonderful.

Awful customer service. Cant rate them on their performance because they never showed up. The first appointment we scheduled was canceled by them. Rescheduled and verified that we had to be present, they said yes so we canceled plans to make it happen. They sent a text the night before saying they would be there. They were a no show. We called to find out what was going on and they never called back. Ive never encountered such an unprofessional company. Contracted through Home Depot.

Should have reviewed others experience before wasting 3 weeks trying to get these folks to call me back. Same story with me, multiple calls and texts zero progress. First it was Bruce, then Bruce passed me off to Noah, then reminders, and still nothing. If you dont need new business, just tell us, rather than stringing us along and delaying our project. Thanks for nothing!

Theres plenty of 5 star companies that will get the door fixed before these guys call you back. Use someone else. Period.

We have enjoyed our side mount door openers they installed a few years back. They look clean and take up way less room than the traditional opener. Also have had great luck with their service team on our rental property door maintenance. Very responsive and professional staff.

Ive been calling for 3 days, left 3 voicemails and no one calls back. The girl who answers the phone is incredibly rude & unhelpful. They advertise 24-hour emergency service but wont call you back after THREE DAYS. Apparently theres only one woman, Annie, who you can speak to about an emergency and shes too busy to answer her phone. So I called another company, they called me back within 4 minutes and are on their way to fix it now!

Noah did a great job taking care of us. My businesses kept getting broken into and Noah put a stop to that with his security shutters! Can finally sleep at night!!

We recently purchased a new home and desperately needed a new garage door. I’m an indecisive buyer when it comes to new things - and I’d never bought a garage door before. Once I started looking at options - I was overwhelmed with choices. The staff at Overhead Door worked with me to help narrow down a style that would match my house AND fit my budget. No easy task.Installing a door in a house that revolves around a one year old Toddler is also no simple feat. I cannot day enough great things about Brian (the installer) who was sent to us. He was thorough, understanding, and even patient when my son decided to investigate the work. Brian went above and beyond to ensure the door was installed carefully, correctly, and also made sure we had access to the Overhead Door ap and all of our cars were programmed correctly.I was thrilled to walk outside and take a look at our house with the new door. It made such a difference! We love it!

Have called twice for coil roll up doors 8 each. Can’t seem to call back with a price.Can’t buy it if I can’t even get a quote.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. They installed a custom garage door for us when they were “done” the door wouldn’t even close all the way it had about two inches from the floor. We also had problems with the lock witch the cane back to fix twice and failed and now they are refusing to come back and fix it so I’m stuck with a f’ed garage door that I’m going to have to try and fix myself.I highly DO NOT recommend this company!

Weve been using Overhead Door Company for years now. They area always timely and courteous when on site fixing our garage door. We would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a reputable and reliable company.

A spring broke Sunday afternoon on our heavy, antique double-car Garage Door. A knowledgeable, meticulous, efficient and conscientious technician was at the site first thing Tuesday morning; two cars were accessible so there was no panic about the one trapped... The entire system was reviewed and overhauled where needed including replacing both springs (to be pro-active) all for a very fare price. Another excellent service call by a great, Family Owned Portland Business!

If you have a garage door you need to have Overhead in your speed dial. Jim and his staff are beyond friendly and knowledgeable in their field. If you need a door for a new construction or need to replace an existing garage door or even need you current door serviced this is the company I highly recommend.

I wish I had gotten the names of the two men who came out to fix my garage door today so I could publicly acknowledge them. They did a good job of representing their business. I also want to thank their dispatcher for getting someone out to me today when their schedule was full until Friday.It turned out that the issue was not a fault of their installer, but of my builder. The two men fixed the problem and went beyond to fix some other problems that they found. The price was very reasonable for the amount of time they spent, and I highly recommend this company.

Worst service in Portland and terrible quality products!! Do not deal with this company. They dont really care about their customers. They just take customers money and leave them with sub-par products and services. I wasted way too much time dealing with this company over some trivial garage door matters. I tried to make things right and even gave you multiple months to respond. I almost forgot but then I saw my credit card statement and remembered how you scammed me out of my money. Shame on you!!! To be honest I’ve never been much of a person to leave reviews about any company. This is the only company that has service so bad that I wanted to let others know so they wouldn’t Be taken advantage of as well. So I called in to overhead door Company and I said that I want to quote on a broken spring and adjustment on the chain for the door and they said that they wouldn’t be able to give us a quote without looking at it. So what do they do, they come out and they give me a quote Of almost $2000 to get my door fixed. So of course I said no because I thought that price was very absurd. So I call out to another company And they gave me a quote of $575. So of course I chose the second company. So overhead door company Gets upset that I didn’t get the work done through them even though it was too much money and they send me a bill for $300 for coming out and giving me a quote because they don’t want to lose driving time, I simply told them if they don’t want to lose driving time then why wouldn’t they just give me a fair price for it. I told them that I didn’t think that it was fair that I should have to pay that because I was not told that it was going to cost to get a quote, And I guarantee you if they told me a quote was going to be $300 I would’ve said no. So a few weeks go by and I start getting harassed by phone and email every day for payment and ended up just paying them.

Family friendly, knowledgeable, great customer service. I can go on and on, but you can just find out when you are in need of good service and expertise for your garage door needs.
