Not just a fun gimmick! The texture of the ice cream is soo nice. Hard to explain but it just feels so velvety and lovely. Super customizable too!We got coffee/cinnamon cream with chocolate flakes and fudge. Fantastic. Wasnt overly sweet either.

It was, a unique experience. The Italian ice (as seen in the picture), is like a mixture of slushi and ice cream. It wasn’t frozen properly though, there was still some juice/syrup left in my cup. It tasted...good. They were suuuuper busy because it’s like they were making the ice cream from scratch via liquid nitrogen. My husband loooved his vanilla+chocolate+peanut butter milkshake. It was really good. So the 3⭐️ is for the super long wait (~20 minutes+) and the Italian slushie not fully being smooth and solidified (because they were in a rush) plus also the size for the milkshake wasn’t worth the price of it. But definitely give it a go and check it out. The process was very interesting to observe. As they claim, “ not just a dessert but an experience!”, well the experience was nice :) Thank you for a refreshing and cooling snack! 😊

Expensive for the taste (pretty average ice cream). Dragon breath was disappointing. It only works for a minute after its made and then nada. The experience was two young bored looking workers pouring some cream into a bowl and pouring liquid nitrogen on it. Slightly cool, but you can see that on YouTube. It looks the same.Probably wont come back.

Just ok. Very expensive for some fruity balls that look smoky and taste like nothing. Melted so fast i had to throw it out after a few bites. Employee was nice. Counters definately needed a clean. Fun place to go for kids not so much as an adult.

Ice cream was pretty good but the dragon breath snack things were a huge bummer. They store the balls out in a big tub so they were kind of stale. The first ball or two smoked a little but then the rest were just esentially cold, stale, giant cereal.

Great place to chill at during the day. Also gets busy at night! Amazing deserts! Love the ambience. So creamy and everything is made fresh from scratch exactly how I want my food to be. They also have a keto menu for people who are on a diet like me. Never eating any other ice cream besides subzero!

This place is super cool! Very scientific and futuristic. Lots of new and cool things to choose from that will definitely entertain the whole family! Pretty wide selection to create your own good ice cream with a very cool presentation, considering the nitrogen freezing. i did a coffee ice cream with waffle cone pieces, circus animal cookies, and marshmallows. it was delicious, and a combination of things I love mixed together in a way that totally worked.

Was fun, entertaining, and tasteful treat! Owner was friendly and super enthusiastic. We will becoming back.

The regular ice cream here is tasty! Im not really sure if the whole liquid nitrogen gimmick really makes it THAT much better, however; taking the kids here and letting them see the smoke from the liquid nitrogen lights up their faces. The novelty Dragons Breath is overpriced for little effect, not to mention they taste like old dry Capn Crunch Berries.

A disappointing experience, especially after watching the very distracted young man “wash” his hands before preparing our ice cream with just water...no soap...and then repeatedly rub his eye. 🤦🏻‍♀️ for nearly $20 for the 3 of us, I’d expect so very much more quality and service.

Always stop at these when I find them as none are local to my area. The freshly made ice cream and shakes custom built to your requests while using the liquid nitrogen to flash freeze the mixture is great. No idea why these places werent backed on Sharktank but oh well.Service at this location was great along with the usual high quality ice cream and customization options.

I like the setup staff is friendly but people over there they forget they are serving nitrogen icecream at the time i got my icecream there was not enough dragon breath thats a rip off i pay $5 to the 10 pieces of puff ball i have tried that before on other places but clearly staff need more training about product and how to serve it

This place is absolutely horrible. If you are looking for no customer service go to Sub Zero Ice Cream and Yogurt.When I called the guy who answered just said Hello. No customary this is Sub Zero or anything like that. I had to ask him if I had reached Sub Zero Ice Cream and Yogurt. The same franchise owner has both locations at Clackamas Town Center and Washington Square.I had purchased an option to purchase an ice cream pie through Groupon. It was for the Clackamas Town Center location. When I took the voucher in to redeem the friendly associate said, Oh you have to call those in advance. I asked her if it said anywhere on the voucher about calling in an order ahead of time? She quickly scanned the voucher and said no. What the voucher does say is that its good any day. Thats what I expected. I contacted Groupon and explained the situation and they gave me my money back. An example of excellent customer service! What Sub Zero did was not only follow the conditions of what was advertised on Groupon, they lost a customer. Im not going back.

I thought it was decently good and if youre not sure about trying something new when it comes to food give it a shot and if you dont like it you dont have to try it again but you can say you tried it.

Last night we had a late night craving for something sweet but didnt feel like leaving the house, so we ordered a couple pints using UberEats delivery service.This was genuinely the BEST ice cream that either of us had ever had. The flavor combinations were to die for.We finished both pints and were feeling gluttonous so an hour later we went to order even more (if youve tasted this ice cream then you wont judge us).UberEats listed their closing time as 9:30. It was just after 9pm when we ordered.A few minutes later I noticed I had a voicemail from an unknown number.Tina from Sub Zero had called to let me know that unfortunately UberEats had the wrong closing time listed on the app; that Sub Zero was already closed, and that the staff would be on their way home by the time the delivery driver would be able to pick up my order.She could have just canceled my order without explanation (weve had that happen before with different restaurants through UberEats) but she chose to take the time to leave a personal message explaining and apologizing, even though it wasnt her or her companys fault.We got amazing ice cream and even better customer service, without ever stepping foot inside their store.Well definitely be repeat customers.Go treat yoself.
