I wanted a low profile jack and I have been looking forever for a good oneI kept comparing all over the net for a good price. I compared the one from Home depot to the one from HFT and I was impressed with theirs plus the review on the Tube were great.I decided to drive the 2h to go to the store but they didnt have it. The staff said that they would call and keep one in sock for me, 2 day later I got the call and kid you not right after work I drove the 2 h and in fact they had one for me, perfect and right color for me. it was put in good use for my Fin Fin.And that was my First time in a Harbor Freight store.Great job to the staff.

I wouldnt goto the Potsdam store. I received a rain check for an item just before Christmas. Just as of today I check the stock status online and it said it had limited stock. So I drove 30 some miles to the store to pickup my item and the manager said he had none in stock. So at that time an employee called him over his mic and she said a customer is here to pickup the same item I was there for. So I left the store and watched to see if that was true. In the mean time the manager kept looking out the door to see if I have left the parking lot. The manager didnt check once he checked a few times. So I moved and low and be hold I happen to park right beside the person who purchased the item I was looking for. So then I went back into the store and the manager continued to lie to me. I WILL NOT EVER SHOP AT THIS STORE AGAIN WITH THIS MANAGEMENT THAT IS THERE. THEY ARE LIARS.1/5/21Just an update check the stock status online this morning and still some in stock. Call again an management again told none in stock. But around noon today the stock status change to BACK IN STOCK SOON. That is absolutely amazing. So all the ones they have been holding for their friends have been picked up and now are out of stock. THIS STORE IS A JOKE. WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO FIRE THE MANAGEMENT THERE.

Have been a Harbor Freight customer for over 20 years.Move to new NY area and got new phn#. Email is same as used in FL. Spent $300 for tools yesterday and got no discounts. Clerk cannot pull up my files or buikd me a new one! Bought new rechargeable Baur Impact wrench and 3x rated Lithium battery. Arrived home and found no charger with tool!Print on box too dim to notice on front of box at store. Now havr to make another 60 mile round trip to find and purchase separate charger!Drills and Impact Wrenches should include and charger and optionally a starter battery. SIGH!And why are there no cigarette lighter powered automotive scissor jacks with remote up/down control kits available. They are safer than manually cranked versions for older and disabled folks. Come on into the 21st Century Automotive products including small slim compact air compressor kits such as those made by Slink tire products.Management was very nice and helpfull as best can be with products stocked.Thank you!

Good place to save a few bucks on tools, etc. for the weekend warrior.

Went to buy a couple camp chairs. Regularly $29.99 each and had a coupon for $19.99! What a great bargain. Chair folds flat. It has a side table for food and drink. The other side has several pockets for books, magazines, fishing gear. Chair holds up to 250 pounds! Great customer service. Staff pointed out where the chairs located. Restroom was clean. Store is very neat. Wheel chair accessible. Plenty of parking.

Descent service and usually have what Im looking for

Huge fan of this place, been a customer for years. Used to go to the modesto ca location weekly. I guess its my personal toy store. Plus if youre doing a job and need a tool that might only get used for this one project, you dont need to break the bank to get it.

Honestly, their prices are so good, that their warranty policies dont make sense. Lol. I just bought a $36 belt sander and the warranty was like 18 bucks. Ill just buy another. So, good spot!

Friendly and helpful

Staff wasnt helpful. In a desperate situation I was turned away 20 seconds after they let the people walking to the door ahead of me in. Fortunately guys at autozone helped me. Its a hour drive home and I just needed to buy a 3/8 wrench to fix my truck to make it home. Disgusted with the service.

Discount tools. Many aftermarket brands of power tools.Skeptical of quality of power tools and gasoline engines.I did purchase a Bauer SDS Max drill and it was no longer operational after 2 hours of use.

The hydraulic press I bought had a couple parts missing. Sunday the manager (Mike) replaced the press and made sure all the parts were in the box.
