I actually really enjoyed my experience with Firestone! The employees here were very helpful and amazing!

I like to get my tires here. Theyve treated me well over the past few years. You can get some pretty good deals on quality tires here! They do inspections, brakes and oil changes as well.

One of the few places that allowed me to show up for an impromptu inspection. Was fast.

Staff here is Polite and Helpful.I went in a few days ago for an Oil Change and the Technician Jose assigned to my Vehicle was very Quick, Polite and handled my Vehicle with Care and as his own, he really knows what he is doing and had me in and out in no time. Im not one to ever write a review, but this Firestone is unprofessional and rude to its customers. They caused an issue with our tire and when we brought our vehicle back for them to fix it they were very reluctant to do anything about it. If you can go anywhere else, do so. Overpriced and disrespectful.

Well we did love this place... until someone there decided to take liberties with the credit card I used 2 months ago there for inspection. Very thankful I get notifications when my card is used and extremely sketchy that it was used TODAY for 2 purchases at the same Firestone. Obviously they keep credit card information and someone decided to play games. Enjoy the ramifications dbag.

Excellent service. Went there for a deferential diagnosis and they were right on. I brought my car to the dealership. they were hesitant to say what was wrong after I told them about Firestone diagnosis. But then they put it up on the rack and said it was correct

Been there a couple times for oil changes n tire changes.. staff is friendly when you ask a question. They always seem to be short handed and it takes a while. Place wouldnt be half bad if they had good staffing.Was there 2 weeks and had an oil change. Made an appointment a day ahead of time for 1:30. I stressed to them i needed to have it done by 2:30 at the latest so i can leave for work. They said they could. Well they didnt start it until 2 and i asked them if it will be done by 2:30 and i was told between 230-245. I got it at 240 then had to rush to work.

Made an appointment here for an oil change and was told it would take an hour and a half to do my oil change even with an appointment? Never had this issue before, the whole point of an appointment is to not waste my time waiting hours for a half an hour service. Very disappointed. The gentleman behind the counter completely dismissed me saying they always take that long I said that’s ridiculous, an oil change only takes half an hour. This was their second chance for me considering last time I got an oil change from them they didn’t fill my car with oil they only put 2 quarts in.

What can I say? I got a flat tire on High St. yesterday on my way home from work. I had a meeting I had to be at urgently. I drove my car in the flat the half mile or so to them, explained my situation, and they took my car in right away. I was in and out within an hour and made it to my meeting on time. They’re lifesavers! Thank you so much!!!! Can’t express my gratitude enough, but hope this helps in some way. Erin was super nice and helpful so special shout-out to her, as well as the other employees(sorry I didn’t get your names). Thank you again, you guys are AWESOME!

Way to expensive, all I wanted was 2 tires and an alignment and they said they couldnt do it because my ball joints were bad. How could they be bad when I just replaced them? Plus they said I had an oil leak which was a lie as well, how could that be when my oil was changed last month and never leaked before? Id go someplace else and avoid this place all together since there charging me over $900 for just an alignment and new ball joints, there just some money hungry people. Why do you think they offer that card to pay things off for 6 months, think about that before you decide to go to them for anything.

Great customer service. In and out for an oil change. Mechanic gave me a detailed price list on what my car desperately needs but didnt pressure me into scheduling repairs right then and there. Will return for sure!

My husband’s car had a nail in the tire the morning before leaving for a trip. This Firestone location was so pleasant and kind and let us drop it off right away. Less than 2 hours later, the tire was patched and he was on his way. Thank you Pottstown Firestone!

I had a rough start this morning since my brother-in-law locked my keys in my car making me miss my scheduled appointment. I called them and they were so kind and told me to drop it off when I could and that theyd get it done for me. I dropped it off 4 hrs later which was a few hours before their closing time I thought I would most likely get my car back the next day, which wouldnt have been a problem. Mike called me 10 minutes before their closing time saying they had completed my car and it was ready to go and that if I was close by I could come get it. Thankfully I live close by. They truly made my day and I recieved excellent service. My new tires feel great and my alignment is perfect. Thanks again!

Two recent experiences:1. TiresI had four tires installed plus alignment. On line, they only offered ONE set tires for my Honda Civic. The tires hum. The car tracks straight.2.InspectionFirestone wanted to charge my college son almost $900 for inspection, rear shock replace and new front tires. One rear shock had grime on it, but still functioned properly. I am not even sure the grime was from the shock. Could have been road grime. Assuming the shock was weeping slightly, this is not grounds for PA inspection failure.My son and I got a second opinion at Bradley Tires, who agreed the front tires needed to be replaced. Bradley’s cost was 40% less than Firestone. My son and I replaced the rear shocks anyway. The old shocks were not weeping and seemed to be in good working condition.This saved my son saving a whopping $600.

Well service for my 3 tires was GREAT but took them weeks to get back to me for my 4th tire. Hopefully Ill have better service next time bc the employees were very friendly!

I do most of my own service, and this place is convenient for things I just can’t do myself. I like being able to schedule an appointment online. In my three or four visits, they’ve been honest, quick, and fairly priced.

I walked into Firestone today with a flat tire. Everyone was very kind and accommodating and went out of their way to assist! They did more than expected. I would trust them to take good care of my vehicle.

Took my van for an alignment, work was done well while I waited. i really like the online scheduling feature.

Today I took my car in for an alignment. My alignment was way off to the point that if I put my steering wheel straight I can hit another car! Now I have to have it a little off so I can drive straight until I can go to my car dealership to get it fix! Never again will I return to this Firestone location!!

I have never had a bad experience here. This is an honest shop that gets the job done at a reasonable price. Kudos!

Over the top they saved me again

Service and assessment was fair. However, the sales tactics used were hardly impressive. There was absolutely no transparency when Firestone recommended a discount on my tire replacement using a one-time promotional card. It turns out this is a credit card (which can certainly be used more than once.) Unfortunately, once I found out, after agreeing to sign up for the card, that it was a credit card, it was already too late to stave off a 20 point credit inquiry hit on my credit score. I would recommend some employee training in the area of business ethics. Theyre lucky I wasnt in the process of buying a home.

Very honest and friendly service from manager and other employees. Could have ripped me off. Only had nail in my tired and they patched it. Manager took $5.00 off my bill because I applied for credit. Then when I left the store, the manager was kind enough to check my tire tracking and reassured me I was good for the winter. Wonderful experience! Already recommended to many people

The service at the Pottstown Firestone was incredible. Not only do you feel welcome, but also very well taken care of. Brian the Store Manager was a tremendous help and explained everything to me. I will definitely be returning to this Firestone in the future.

I was quoted a price on Firestone tires, then they put Kelly tires on my daughters car said cheaper. They mounted and tires leak air. So she took to Firestone in Media n charged her $100 to clean rim bead, since wasnt done at Pottstown store. I can see why they get such poor ratings in Consumer Reports. No more Firestone for me and my family!!

Love this place! Have been coming here for many years. The staff is exceptionally courteous and professional and a huge part of why I keep coming back. Their mechanics are honest, informed and thorough and do fantastic work. I would not take my vehicles anywhere else. I have been a mechanic for 40 years. I am retired and have to take my cars to repair shops now to get repaired because I do not have a facility to do the work. My first mistake was taking my car to Pottstown Firestone. I went on their web site and made an appt. Posted the year and make of my car and the problem. I was given an appt. for the next morning at 9am. My son took the car and they advised him they had no appt. for me ( I have a confirmation on my phone). They took the car in anyway. They called me later and said the problem was the expansion valve and it needed to be replaced. The cost would be $460.00. I told them if that would fix the problem do it. The problem was the AC blowing hot air. They told me I may need a condenser but the expansion valve should fix the problem. They called back later that afternoon and said they got the AC to blow cold air but it cuts out at times and it needed to be turned off and back on. Then they told me it needed to have the blend door repaired and that I should bring it back on Friday. When I went to pick the car up they said we dont have a 2013 Ford Fusion here. I told them my car is a 2011 Ford Fusion and that it was on the appt. They did not know what year the car was they were working on. Got in the car and turned the air on and got HOT air, just like it was when I dropped it off before I gave them $498.00. I will be disputing the charge. I was charged $65.99 for an expansion valve that I could buy for $10.84 to $28.89, I was also charged $$61.99 for a cabin air filter that I could buy for $3.13 to $8.36. I understand that a business has to make a profit but this is just ripping people off. The customer service person was not very personablewhen I started asking questions. Do your research first and buy your own parts, you will save getting ripped off. I will never return to this location again

I had brakes put on my 2004 Land Cruiser at fire stone in March 2018. In January 2019 my brake light came on.Firestone installed new brakes under warranty, WITHOUT me even asking.Most times with other businesses, a warranty gives you the right to sue. Firestone stepped up and did the work without me even requesting it, much less having to file a claim.I have been with them for over five years and remain pleased .

Awesome! I was on the road a lot & oil change slipped my mind. & then I went in for an oil change, they were backed up & busy & told me itd be a while. They were so amazing, worked hard to get everyone waiting out & a mechanic freed up, they got me outta there quicker than they said! & at no extra cost! they actually asked me if Id like to save money & sign up for something. I paid more simply for the fact that this place was so awesome.

Some things are reasonably priced but most things are way more than they are at other shops. Was told to bring my car back on Saturday for repairs but after talking to 3 people no one would make me an appointment and instead told me to just walk in. Even made sure to call before I came in and they still said it was fine. When I got there they were fulled booked and I was told they could try to fit me in and make an exception for me but it would take at best 3 hours to even be seen and that I should have made an appointment even though 3 employees wouldnt make one for me days prior. Very unsatisfied with the customer service.

Integrity, hard working team, goes out of the way to accommodate the customers, takes care of the car and customer needs while keeping your budget in mind or if the car truly needs what is being suggested. Matt and the service manager are respected, respectful of their employees and customers. I appreciate the honesty and things that the dealerships says you need or dont need done, this team always explains why you do or dont need something and cheaper as well as done right the first time. I used to take my car to Piazzas Hyundai - never again ! That in itself should explain the rest.

Showed up on a Sunday at 3:00 PM with bad battery. Only charged me 9.00 to check alternator starter and battery. Put new battery in only took about 30 min

Great people that did great work. Matt was a huge help in a tough situation. I blew a tire on my SUV and really needed to get all four tires replaced. I have a SUV that has some pretty strange sized tires and Matt went out of his way to be helpful and get me the best deal on great tires. I drive a lot for work and was expecting this to be an ordeal that took a few days to clear up, but I dropped off my car in the morning and Matt and his team had everything done before lunch. Will definitely be coming back and will recommend to anyone.

Not impressed with these so called mechanics. Told my friend he needed inner tie rod ends. Paperwork stated significant play. Started to do the repair and found absolutely no play in the inner tie rods. Nothing was stated about condition of the front brakes which were at bare minimum thickness to pass inspection. Sorry but this place is a scam

If I could give a negative star, I would. This location specializes in unneeded work. They claimed that we needed work for over $600. My husband was able to do the repair but when he started to do the work, there was not one thing wrong! He went and had another auto repair shop look at it and they confirmed that nothing was wrong. We will never go back to Firestone again!Do not waste your time or money.

I have been very pleased with the Pottstown fire stone they do a great job and always treat me fairly. I think one of the things I like best is there prompt and efficient service .I depend on my car as do most people and having it serviced quickly and getting me out the same day with the repairs completed is a great benefit.

They are honest which is the most important to me. They don’t use the fear tactics like other companies. The services are usually quick and timely. They will make you feel like you are part of their family

Got my oil changed here on 12/07/2015. About a week later it rained and I noticed it looked like oil was mixed in with the rain water under my car. Thought maybe it was spillage and figured I would give it a bit to clean up before jumping to conclusions. A week later, I noticed it there was still oil under my car.Took it back on 12/23/2015. Was expecting the usual auto place experience where even though your almost 100% sure they made a mistake, they still give you an explanation as to why it wasnt a mistake and then try to charge you additional for a repair of some sort.I got a huge surprise. Not only did they get me in and out quickly the same day I called, they redid the oil change for free and gave me a coupon good for a free future oil change.While I did deduct a star for the initial mistake being made in the first place, they got four stars for handling things the way they did. Great job for realizing that its not whether or not you made a mistake, but how things are handled afterwards. And you guys handled things beautifully. Thank you very much.

Extremely Poor Customer Service. I had a flat tire to be fixed. I first called on Saturday and was told they are very busy. No problem, I told them that Ill come in on Monday morning. I arrived when they opened at 7am. I was told it would be a 30 minute wait. I had a movie on my tablet so I proceeded to watch it in the waiting room. After finishing the entire movie I asked how much longer. The women who estimated a 30 minute wait and watched me sit in front of her for over an hour and a half had the nerve to ask me if they took my car back yet. I guess the customer needs to track the progress. She then informed me that they have not started on my vehicle yet but assured me that I am the next in line. Needless to say I left without having a new tire put on.Im very patient but employees need to care. She had plenty of time to take selfies with the other employees but it never crossed her mind to recognize that I was sitting long past my estimate or even to check on my vehicle to proactively inform me of a delay. You would have to care to think of that.

I shopped around to three vendors yesterday to get a quote on an oil change for my vehicle for warranty purposes. I was quoted a price of $43, which beat the $72 and $55 other quotes I received. Upon arriving today at my appointed time, I was informed by another employee the price would be $72. This will now contribute to me being over mileage for my warranty plan as I must make an appointment with a different vendor. I recommend getting terms in writing if you contract with this business.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! Every time I took my car here they would overcharge me for the repairs or find something else wrong. My car would be fine for a week and then something would stop working. I feel like it was sabotaged in order to get more money out of me! I found a better repair shop to go to and will never take my car here again.

I only come here when it’s an absolutely emergency because it’s roughly 3 blocks from my house. The staff here is incredibly rude and every single time I have to bring my car in they lie and try to sell me things I don’t need. The lay time they tried to tell me I needed 4 new tires even though I had just gotten said tires, from them, not 2 months prior.Avoid at all costs.

Great group of managers, big facility, good prices, and plenty of deals. Never had them give bad advice or suggest anything my car didnt need. I use them for oil changes, wiper blades, brakes, and new tires. The financing deals with the Firestone credit card makes it easy to pay for larger purchases.

Docking a star because the internet is really poor, so working from there during wait was a little tough. For the main purpose of going to this place they are excellent. The dude at the desk was no-nonsense and easy to deal with. When it turned out I needed to replace a tired that wasnt repairable, he showed me very clearly why a few ways and even showed me documentation on tire repairs... completely legitimate and really made the unfortunately circumstance about needing to spend more money justifiable.

Very poor service. Ive been coming here for many years with no problem. Havent been there for like over a year or so. And the service went downhill. I got there at 7 oclock in the morning. I left almost 10 oclock in the morning with my keys and no service done because I couldnt wait no longer. Wont go back there anymore thats for sure..

Tires - Dueler h/l Alenza plus for 2010 Jeep Liberty. Tires look great even with the raised white letters missing. Salesman was great, answered all my questions. Cash out person was rude and could not answer why the white letters are missing or what he will do to fix the issue.I did schedule a set of tires for my Dodge Ram, Bridgestone dueler a/t revo 3... w/raised letters OUT...

I have been to this store three times for different things, first for tires that Pep boys said they couldn’t get but Mike did and at a great price I must say. The second time I had an exhaust leak and my neighbor said if I buy the parts he would put it on for me this was two days before NewYears Eve my car sat on jack stands for two days till NewYears Eve when I called and spoke with Brian and he said bring it in. They closed at 5pm that night I received the call at 1pm telling me what it needed and I said do the work. 4:45 it was done I was out the door by 5pm. The 3rd time was an oxygen sensor in and the door in less than 1 hour, all of the times I was in the store I was treated with respect and I felt the pricing was fair. I would tell my family and friends to go to Firestone without hesitation. Mike, Brian and Ed all did a great job.

Really good customer service

I took my car in to be repaired and they told me it was the head gaskets. It was never the head gaskets, my radiator hose had a hole in it. The price range from $2,500 to repair. Thank God I took it else where. The radiator hose and two new clamps cost $19.03. My car is up and running very well. I will not do business with Firestone again.

Firestone falsely alleged that I had a damaged rear shock that caused a rear tire to require replacement to pass inspection. They replaced the faulty tire and alleged that I needed $1100 worth of work to my car. I agreed to have the tire replaced so I could pass inspection. However, a week later when I brought my car to the Honda dealer to have the faulty shock replaced, we discovered there was nothing wrong with the shock, and probably nothing wrong with the tire Firestone insisted I replace. I decided to just drop the whole thing and never go there again, but a week after this, I got a nail in my new Firestone tire, so we brought it back to the shop to have it plugged or replaced. This is when I was told I didnt have road hazard protection (they told me I did) and refused to plug the three week old tire because it wasnt safe. So we brought it elsewhere and they plugged the tire. They are unethical to the people of Pottstown. (The manager even tried to say they never said my shock was bad - keep ALL of your paperwork, because it was on there!) Just avoid entirely.

This may be on the expensive side for a garage but you get what you pay for, fast oil changes, while the tech worked on tire rotation, he found a nail, so 4 new tires for my car, they check everything, its best to make an appointment to. Get your place in line, staff are very helpful, and give you the good and bad news in your ride, be prepared with.cold hard cash if you want them to fix.sonething. you werent aware of, these techs are very observant but will ask you if you want it fixed or not, very good overall, at least with my visits.

Took Apart my vehicle and didnt put all the pieces back.. Drove from Pennsylvania to Connecticut and found out they didnt put the pieces together and when I called them they told me they threw it out

Went here with a flat for a patch because it was Sunday and they were all that was open. I know its not meant to be a fussy place but it was notably filthy. The floor and waiting area looked as if it hadnt been swept / vacuums and maybe a month? Leaves, trash, and other debris were all over the floor. Looks like the place has been recently remodeled- ish but they are definitely not keeping it clean. Kind of an unpleasant place to wait. Took several hours for them to finally call and tell me they could not do a patch but could put a new tire on and it would be ready in 10 minutes. Except that when my husband went to pick up the car he waited at least another 30 to 40 minutes and there was no one in the room when he wanted to check out even when he could see the car finished in the parking lot. In the end I got a new tire for my car - not a bad price, but I dont know that Id go here again if I wasnt in a pinch.

Not to be trusted. Mechanic made up a story that my car year and make had a known caliper problem and that all the calipers had to be replaced. I reached out to 2 Kia dealerships and spoke to both of their service managers and they laughed at me when I told them what the Firestone mechanic said. They both told me that there was no known problem with the calipers and they found it impossible that all four would need to be replaced at the same time. Then I was told that all the rotors had to be replaced. Again, I was told by the Kia dealerships that it was be impossible to need all four rotors replaced, 2 of them yes, I expected that, but not all four.After I left the Firestone shop I filled out their survey and explained by displeasure with what happened. I recieved a phone call from the shop manager within 10 minutes of completing the survey, saying his area manager wanted to know what happened. Brian the Manager started to defend he mechanic, he showd zero empathy and just kept saying In all fairness my mechanic to my responses. I finally said, your mechanic was not truthful and was trying to charge me nearly $2000 for this work he said nothing and I hung up with him.Bottom line is they tried to tell me I needed nearly $2000 worth of work to my car, while I know know it did not. Be very careful dealing with them. I ended up going to Monro in Reading, PA. They did the same work for $485. That was what I thought it would cost from the beginning, about $500.

Had to wait a bit even though I had been told what time to come in for my 4 new tires. They are understaffed. Otherwise they would have gotten 5 stars.

I took my vehicle there today for a tire swap I had aftermarket rims on.they changed them out with my stock tires .I asked them to check my brakes because they have been squeaking for a few days they said there was no problem and they didnt not hear what i was hearing .I asked them to do an oil change ..THEY DIDNT DO THE OIL CHANGE ..I KNOW BECAUSE I PUT A MARK ON MINE TO MAKE SURE ..I LEFT WITH MY TRUCK AND THE NOISE IS WORSE NOW AND I PAID FOR THE OIL CHANGE .WHEN I CALLED BACK TO COMPLAIN THE MANAGER SAID OHH MY GUYS WOULDNT DO THAT ..NEVER AGAIN. IM TAKING MY VEHICLE SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR NOW ON ..EVERYONE THAT WORKS THERE IS IN DRUGS OR SOMETHING JUST BE GLAD MY FAMILY WASNT HURT

Stay away from these liers, i went in for a wheel alignment, come to find out they never did the alignment. Took it back to them several times, then they tell me they couldnt do it, & that i have aftermarket parts on my car witch i dont . Smh had me & my daughter sitting in there for hours all for nothing. Its a shame people cant even trust real a shop now days.

The team is always there for You and ready to help, even when the place is swamped, theyll squeeze You in.Matt, the manager is always running around trying to make sure everyone has a great experience and ensure that his people are doing so too.Dave has been there maybe the longest, been seeing him behind that window for many years and he always makes sure me and my family get the best prices and even if its a little over top - he backs everything up with the technicians who know how to work on cars. Its not some left handed dealer techs that just work by the book and see how to charge You more.John is always great whe Youre in a hurry - phone number, name, what car, what needs to be done, come back at 5. Done!The new kids like Lucas and Ron are a great addition too! Matt sure knows how to get his people to top shape. The guys are energetic and a great addition to the settlement.The place is where you drop off your car and dont call every 10 minutes to see if its done yet, if everythings alright or not. You leave it there and let them handle it, if it needs anything, theyll call Ya!
