Had to drop a review because I highly recommend this place. As a mechanic myself I’m super skeptical on what shops I take my vehicles to when needed. After reading reviews I had no reason to not try Del Hatt. Came in randomly to see if they could do what I needed and i felt welcome and positive about the environment/people. They needed to modify my steering knuckles for an upgraded steering setup and after explaining they had no issue doing it. Picked my truck up after less than a week which is very reasonable for the work they did and my steering is better than I thought it’d be!! And my bill was far less than what I expected. Definitely worth going here and talking to Kevin about your auto issues!

Brought my 35 diesel pusher in for a hard pull to the right. Spoke with the owner on the phone prior which made me feel confident to make an appointment. Del Hatt has extremely competent mechanics that take their time and are very thorough. They performed a 4-wheel alignment and adjusted the ride height on the air suspension. I cant be more happy with the results. I can drive the coach with 1 finger now, no more fighting the wheel. They even found another issue that could only be found by being so thorough. They treat your vehicle like it was their own.

I just purchased a RV and want to have a wheel alignment done before driving to Florida. I remembered Del Hatt great reputation for wheel ailments and made appointment. Haven’t been there in years and was so glad I did because I was impressed with the great service. A couple weeks later I had appointment with a RV repair service that the previous owner used. Had some issues with the electrical system controlling the slide out. Two days later I picked up the RV and was told it was fixed. When I got it back the slide outs still was not working. I decided to bring it to someone locally and I stopped by Del Hatt to see if he could look at my problem. He came out immediately to see what was wrong and fixed the slide outs in a few minutes. You don’t see many people or businesses with that kind of care about customer service. I had some other things that needed repaired and left it with Del Hatt knowing when I pick it back up things will be done right. I been self employed for over 45 years and would recommend

We went in for a NYS inspection on our Subaru Outback. We knew the rear brakes were very noisy and expected they might fall. Sure enough, they almost down to the metal, and one caliper was seized. Del Hatt installed high quality parts and had the car ready in only a few hours. We were really impressed at how fast they were able to diagnose and repair the car. Thanks!

I had a really bad steering wheel shake in my tractor trailer at about 60mph. Couldn’t figure out for the life of me what it was. The front end was tight. Everything was new. I always grease everything. I had told Kevin I put the balance bags in the front tires thinking it was a balance issue. he said take them out, bring your tires down, and we will balance them the correct way... well sure enough George put the tire on the balancer and it was way “outta wack” George knew right away that this would fix the wheel shake... (I had my doubts) long story short. I put the tires back on and the truck never drove down the road so smooth in 3 years!!! What a difference!! From now on, any front tires I get are going right to Kevin and George to get balanced the correct way! Thanks guys!!

Best shop in area for alignment

Repair shop highly recommended. Especially if you need your vehicle aligned (they do fire trucks, campers, etc)

Had my previous mechanic install custom performance suspension components and was very unsatisifed with the outcome. His response was that its how it rides and what I bought. Took it to Delhatt and explained it to Kevin and Riley. They were confident they could help. Not only did they overhaul it and do it correctly, they advised that the previous installation was completely wrong and even worse, it was dangerous. They also found additional issues that should have been previously discovered. Now the ride is far more comfortable and drives like its on rails. Now the car drives like a dream. The Technician Doug did a fantastic job. Everyone in the process was great!

This place is amazing! I bought a car from another mechanic and it turned out to be a total lemon. The seller promised me it would be great and it wasnt. Head gaskets went 3 times in the year I owned it. It kept over heating and doing all sorts of weird stuff. When mentioned maybe the car needed a new engine the seller told me I was wrong. So I decided to take my car to Del Hatt instead. Turns out, that was the best choice I could have made for my car. Kevin had it looked over and sure enough it needed head gaskets again. But that wasnt the only problem. I had a warped engine. Kevins first suggestion was to replace the engine which was funny because thats what the previous mechanic told me not to do. We replaced the engine with a different one and my car has been running amazing ever since. Kevin worked with me on he price and the towing. He did the engine for a fair price and also included free labor for a new water pump and timing belt.If you want a good mechanic, Del Hatt is the place. You can trust them and you can trust their work. I wont be taking my car anywhere else.Thanks for all your help guys. Im glad I didnt have to get rid of my car. I love my Subaru 😍😍

These guys are really good at aligning lifted trucks, had my truck lifted 7 took to another shop said it was aligned properly, but it wasnt. Took to these guys, they found problem quickly and fixed it in about an hour with no extra charge . Great shop will do business with them in the future, highly recommend to anyone who wants automotive work done properly!!!
