#Too-ExpensiveBilled $460.00+ To Replace My Spark-Plugs & Clean Fuel-System in my 2012 Volvo S60 T6-Polestar. I do feel like I was Over-Charged, for their service but my car does drive better and Ive been getting better gas mileage as well. But next time I would go back to Volvo, they would have charged me $200.00 less than GoodYear charged & I would have recieved a complete tune-up & replacement of all old/worn-out parts, All fluids checked, topped & filled throught my entire car & washed/detailed my Car before Picking it up. However, I am just grateful they did good work on my car.
Brought in a flat tire to be repaired on short notice. Staff was polite, timely and professional. These guys really are fantastic -- very honest, explain everything in detail, the work is top-notch. Bought 4 new tires from them last year and it was an equally positive experience

I needed a tire replaced before a road trip- The manager was able to pull up my information from the other Goodyear service station is over 500 miles away to ensure I had a safe ride back north and that my roadside hazard warranty was honored !Knowledgeable, helpful and professional!!
I recently went for an oil change and the service was outstanding! All the employees I interacted with were so nice and professional. In particular was Senior, who was extremely friendly and upbeat! Goodyear is lucky to have him working for them.
Stopped today on way from the grocery store because my air pressure light was on. The doors were part open but turns out they are closed Sundays. However I was still greeted warmly and they put air in my tires. If this store treats people like this when closed I cant wait to try them when open.
With everything going on in the world there is so much uncertainty. As soon as I called to make an appointment I was greeted by the manager who was extremely helpful and thorough. I had heard things about this store from years ago and had avoided it but I’m happy to see that things have changed under new management. Their employees went out of their way to make me feel safe and like I was in good hands. Service was above and beyond, I will definitely be coming back.

Would not accept payment to have tire pressure checked on 4 tires. Jeff manager, and Senior G., associate, both customer focused. Senior G. who worked on tires said he works on customers cars as if it was his own car. He followed through with that statement when he placed proper air inflation/pressure on my tires for free and with friendliness.
Ive taken my Dad vehicle here to be inspected on multiple occasions, I appreciate the friendly Atmosphere especially now that there is new management in place. I can feel the store is becoming more and more of a place I would recommend to my friends and family to go get their vehicles service. I was surprised they do a lot more than tires also
Wish there was a -0 star! Ive had 3 dealings with them over the past 12 years. The first time I purchased over $1200 in tires for my work van. The service was horrible, took forever and the staff was rude and un-attentive. I dealt with them again 5 years later thinking it would be better and same issues. Bad service, took there time and let customers stand around and they were rude! So again, I gave them another chance 6 years after that! I scheduled an 8am appt for new tires that I purchased at Goodyear.com weeks in advanced and paid with my Goodyear credit card. I showed up at 8am sharp. The guy was at the counter, I said good morning, he looked at me and didnt say one word. He then left me standing there for a long while 10-15 mins without acknowledging my existence. Going to the back office and returning to the computer multiple times until I could not take it no more and left! Needless to say I will reschedule with another local tire shop & I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH GOODYEAR AT 15 BARNETT BLVD POUGHKEEPIE< NY 12603 AGAIN!!!
Awesome service...they are knowledgeable and do a thorough job preparing your vehicle for the road...the waiting area is clean and inviting...a must during these covid times....while waiting they cleaned every critical area several times..not only do I feel confident in the product I purchased, they take great care to make the customer their priority...Nice work Jeff and Service!
I had a wonderful experience at this Goodyear. Senior fit me in last minute, and as a disabled mother it meant the world to me to get this done so quickly. I spoke with Senior and Robbie whom were a wealth of information, and a breath of fresh air to talk to, as both were so kind, understood my predicament, non judgmental, while doing everything with a smile. Senior offered me a hot cocoa which really made my day. I got my inspection and my oil changed, as they caught I was over due for one. I am a happy customer and will definitely come back.

I have been trusting Goodyear with my cars for years for good reasons. The new manager at Poughkeepsie is friendly and professional. I was able to get my oil changed quickly before a long road trip. Kudos to Jeff and his staff.
My experience here in the 2 visits I made: Honest place(hard to say these days). They got the job done in a proper amount of time. (Not like the place up the road that takes 5 hours for a 30 min job) got the problem fixed the 1st time. If you need work on your vehicle this is a great place to get it done. Even it it is only installing tires.

Free flat repair. 1 mile from shop, 15 lbs air in tire. Never made it home. Flat repair??? I think not. Gave big tip. Wish I had it back.

Came here to get a leaky tire taken care of. Quick, friendly service and they do their job well. Management pointed out a picture of their business from the 70s and mentioned how five of the cars in the picture parked in the lot still came for service. They obviously have history and pride in their work.
Went in for an inspection and my car failed because I had bald tires with exposed wires. They wanted over $300 for new tires installed. I checked my tires that were supposedly bald and they are fine. Good tread and no exposed wires anywhere. They scammed me out of an inspection fee to try to sell me tires.
I have brought my cars here many times and have never had a bad experience. Great team, fast, friend and honest
Manager Jenn and crew will take great care of you and your car! I was stranded out of town on a weekend, with my BMW M3. They sourced a set of tires from nearby and had a driver deliver them all the way from Albany. Great people to deal with.
My brother just went to this store to purchase new tires. He was quoted a certain price a week before his appointment to which he budgeted for. When his appointment came they did not have the tires he had wanted out on, despite this he choose another tire. Then was told to sign a paper confirming the service and was not explained the “road hazard warranty” that was added onto his purchase. No one took the time to explain it was an extra 20$ a tire. When he came back to pay he was confused as to why it was so much more money and employee told him that’s how much it was And that was that. After reviewing the receipt I called back in hopes to be refunded for the 80$ road hazard warranty.The manager Alecia told me since he signed paperwork there was no way she could refund the money. I tried stating no one explained to him it was an extra charge of 80$. She didn’t seem to care and then lied and said 5 minutes after he left he called back to cancel it. (Which was not true as o was with him and he made no such call). After being lied to I asked for the customer service number and again was lied to as Alecia told me “there is no customer service number for Goodyear tire”.I proceeded to hang up and look up the customer service number. When I finally got through the representative informed me Alecia had just called her informing her I would be calling. Alecia again lied to the representative and told her she had offered me a refund on my brothers card but couldn’t do a cash refund.This woman never offered me any refund. Lied about a customer service number not existing but then called it after I hung up.I can honestly say I am extremely disappointed and will never come back to get any of my vehicles serviced by good year in Poughkeepsie.
Under new guidance, this particular Good Year facility has only gotten better. Yes there are times when every auto repair center can be overwhelmed and as a customer you may feel left in the wind especially, if all your there for is a simple oil change but, whats most important is the quality that you get as the end result. Since new management, this has only improved. Ive personally been a customer for over a decade, theres a reason why I continue to do business here. Other than quality service by trained professionals, Im treated like a person not a number and promptly informed like a co-worker.
Store manager Mr. Weeden tried to force a $620 repair job by nitpicking my cars wheel alignment, which had been aligned every year for the past three years at another Goodyear store! Do not go there for state inspection or any maintenance/repair work. They are desperate for your dollars. Stay away like it is COVID-19!
This evening 11/01/19, I walked outside to find a screw in my tire and air leaking out. I called GoodYear on 44 in Poughkeepsie NY. Senior G answered the phone and was nothing but polite, respectful, and professional. I got in around 645pm [they close at 7pm] and without hesitation they plugged my tire free of charge. Anthony, the technician, was also polite, respectful, and professional!! Nothing but respect for these guys and I highly recommend everyone to visit and do business here.Thanks Again Guys!Tim Miller
Thank you, Goodyear, for making the great move that you did by putting Jennifer, as manager of your shop. She is delightful, knows her stuff and is very kind and caring. Your business will only get better now that she is in charge. My service was done in a short time and the mechanics knew what they were doing when I had a bad noise in my car when I got up to 60 miles per hour. They even showed me the tires and what had happened to them because the shocks had gone bad. Be assured that you have good staff there now.
I have been a customer here for years. I wasnt happy with many things that happened. I wasnt happy with their work or their professionalism, or lack of.I had to go recently and Goodyear did something smart. They promoted an employee from within instead of bringing someone in. GREAT MOVE.So the new manager is giving Goodyear a much better name. Says what she means, doesnt make false claims or promises. She owns up to problems of the past and says shes there to change the future. Things of the past that happened there were not totally great for the customer. She is fair with not only the customers but also her employees. I personally witnessed her treating an employee the way youd WANT to be treated.Shes a very fair person.I was there because I had a tire that needed repair. She said it was and it was no charge.No up selling or story, just no charge.
Great customer Service, got my annoying engine warning light fixed, fitted me in really quickly. Comfortable reception with WiFi, tea and coffee so you can work easily if you have to wait. We wouldn’t bring our vehicles to anyone else.

I had my oil change done here, and their service technician named Robbie was on top of things. He noted that my oil pan threads had been damaged by a previous dealer shop that i went to outside Chicago had over-tightened the oil pan plug and damaged the aluminum threads. He re-tapped the oil plug hole, and replaced the plug with one that fit the new size. Saved me the expense of getting the whole oil pan replaced. Thanks

I am hurt and disappointed in the treatment I received from management. Only having a small time frame before visiting a sick relative, I called and asked if they had a specific tire and if so how long it would take to do. I was told no we dont have it. I asked to speak to a manager was put on hold for almost 5 minutes. A woman answered and said her name was Alieesha? She said you were already given your answer and then hung up on me. Why?? I dont understand. Why I was treated so terribly? People deserve better customer service. Will NEVER recommend.
Went into Goodyear about 3 months ago asking for a donation for a benefit dinner. The nice gentleman who was working behind the counter gave me 8 free oil changes which were handed out for door prizes. The people who won the free oil changes has been trying to get it done and the store manager said she is not honoring them because they are fake even though the employee admitted to giving them to me. I told her i will be contacting corporate office in which she stated I dont f$%^&*% care who you call this is my store. I will also be contacting the BBB as well. They were thanked at the benefit dinner along with every other business and put there name on a sign with every other business that donated. If it was a mistake that was made by the employees end then they should still be honored. She made it seem like i printed them out and handed them out on my own. Will never go to this place again for any car work and will let all my family and friends who do go here to start going somewhere else. Mavis just got a new customer.
I’ve been coming here for years throughout all of the management changes and have always had a good experience with buying new tires, and having services like oil changes, brakes and alignments performed regularly on all of my vehicles. They are reliable and perform great work.

Under new MGT and so much betterSince they changed the MGR There things have gotten MUCH better, including for the employees. Jennifer the service MGR is also excellent. While they do have to make money, they wont sell your a song and a dance for nothing. We need more like this!

This place will rip u off..... They wanted 1000.00$ for a break job on my 2008 Toyota Yaris .... Ive owned a bunch of cars in my lifetime and had many complete break jobs done at many garages and have never paid 1000.00$ for any of them it usually runs 500.00$ or so but come on you dont have to rape people do you? I took my car to Mavis and they did same job with higher quality parts with or warranty for $400 out the door. Dont take your car to this place its a rip-off I cant say this enough this place will make sure your kids dont go to school just so you can pay for auto repair stay away from this garage at all costs

Went in to have 4 tires put on and when they were finished I looked it over and had damage in four different places, on all four rims. I brought my truck back the following day and told them about the damage. Alisha the store manager said she would have to submit the paperwork to corporate and that it would take a couple weeks. Called the store a couple weeks later and the store said that they were still waiting on Corporate. So I called corporate and they said that they had no paperwork regarding this incident. Corporate put me in touch with the district manager who contacted Alisha the store manager and asked why the paperwork was not submitted to Corporate and she said “I agreed that the damage wasn’t done by them” after arguing with the district manager that this was the first set of new tires to be put on my truck he said that they would pay for the damages. I was then put in touch with George from the claims department where he has been giving me the run around. I sent one final email to George giving them one last chance to make good on their end and never received a reply. It has taken me 5 months to get to this point and will now be settling the damages in small claims court.
Both Alisha and consultant excellent I had a bad experience with B.J.s tires they were rude I was trying to get through them all morning so i decided to drop over to b.j.s tires they closed for lunch. They gave me the guilt trip when i called and they had to come back. Alisha gave me the tires i wanted. Both Alisha and consultant were very profesional. They gave me an excellent price on tires and service This is a place I will consider returning to. I will also recommend my family and friends. Thank you for beinf courteous and kind! IT GOES S LONG WAY!
I just want to talk about my expierence here. I was having such a horrible day and these guys .. Isaias Cabera and Senior Garnett treated me with such kindness. I needed new tires but I was unable to afford them at the time so they helped me figure out my best possible option and they didnt have to. This is what you call great customer service. As a current customer I will have to say over the last 5 months I have went from being a disgruntled customer to being made to feel like my car issues are just as important as the employees cars. I will continue to bring my vehicles to Goodyear.

I went to buy a tire for my brother, and this lady who said she was the manager, Alisha, came around from the back angry and yelling about how they didn’t have the tire we ordered and how she’d told us that on the phone. I’d called about twenty minutes before and they said they’d had the tire in stock for me. Horrible first time experience! I’ll never go back! And I’ll tell my friends and family to never go there!!
