I went in to lease a vehicle. I had already done the research on the exact vehicle I wanted. I found it on the Jeep website and was directed to Dutchess Chrysler Jeep Dodge. I used the Price options tab and checked how much deposit was needed as well as the estimated monthly cost. When I got to the dealer I found the vehicle before going inside and alerted the salesman of the vehicle. He retrieved the key and I gave it a test drive. He immediately told me the the 10% down ($4,600.00) that the website said was required was nowhere close enough to the deposit needed if I wanted the payments shown on the website. Mind you credit scores werent a factor yet and would not have been an issue anyway. After I spoke to him further, He said hell be back. When he came back it was to tell me the car is already sold and I left before he could attempt to try and put me in a more expensive model. I then left and went to another Jeep Dealership where I found a similar model with the same specs that I was looking for. At the next dealership the process was smooth and the deposit was not even a fraction of Dutchess Jeep. I feel offended with the level of robbery that they were about to commit. Im glad I left because It was meant for me to walk out and go to another dealership. Honestly I think it should be a crime that a dealership as big as Dutchess Jeep can just rip people off on such a level and continue to operate their business when hard working people are literally just looking to purchase a vehicle. The second dealership gave me several lease options to go over and explained every cent that I was spending and would be spending which again was nowhere near the heinous prices that Dutchess Chrysler Jeep Dodge were requiring. New York should have laws in place to make sure businesses such as these cant rob the very communities that they are allowed to operate in.

Went there to look at a gladiator and talk to one of the sales staff about it and he had ordered me one with the exact accessories that I needed. I had a great experience with nick from sales department and frank from who helped with the credit stuff was really helpful. Ordering and buying new vehicle went smoothly. Both are vary knowledgeable in what they do.

I am from New Jersey and I was struggling to find this built to serve ram truck. it’s a special edition. And I ended up finding one in transit coming to Duchess Chrysler Dodge. I called them up and I spoke to John, wow! What an awesome guy, very honest, to the point, did not waste my time at all. He got me the best deal. I drove an hour and a half to pick up the truck and everything was ready I was able to sign everything and get out of there within a half hour. On top of that, this truck was being held at a warehouse, John actually went and drove and picked it up himself and brought it to the dealership so I can drive to pick it up and buy it. Highly recommend this dealership !

Never buy a vehicle from here. Sales people are totally dishonest. But a pre-owned van from here about 2 years ago. The sales rep said had a 82 month 100000 bumper to bumper warranty. Brought it in for issues with seats not going down and cable broken. Vehicle miss firing and transmission line leaking and was told nothing is covered under warranty. Stay far away from this place.

I just leased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from here and I couldn’t be any happier with it. This is my first time dealing with this car dealership, and it was a great first experience. I went in on a Monday morning just to look around, and by Monday night, I was driving out of the lot with my new Jeep. I didn’t think it was possible to get things done that fast. The sales person that helped me was Stacey. Not only was she very helpful and worked quickly to get my paperwork done, but she wasn’t pushy like some other sales people I have dealt with in the past...I think that’s so annoying when you get someone like that. She was real, and you could tell she wasn’t putting on a show just to sell a car, told me like it was, no BS. It also helps that she has the personality that makes you feel like you’ve known her for years. The finance manager, Frank, was great too. Very nice, not pushy, and knows his stuff. He too was great with getting everything together so quickly. Teresa in the service department is a gem as well!! A really great staff they got here!

Bought 2 cars from here in the past, both were a great experience. We walk in this Saturday because my current Jeep was a total loss from an accident. The older salesman right inside the door with all the plaques saying something about 20 years of service just looked at us. Everyone else seemed very busy. We asked him on info about Rams and Wranglers, we were still up in the air. He didnt seem to want to get out of his chair to show us anything, just started barking numbers. We looked around for another salesman but again it seemed busy. We left! Ended up going up the road and buying a brand new Tundra.

I want to Duchess Chrysler dealership on February 27th 2021. Upon entering I was greeted right away and a few min later was paired with Santos. Walking into the dealership I knew exactly what I was looking for, I knew my price point I was looking for and I knew I wanted a Jeep. Well what I wanted is what I got!! Santos made my whole experience and process so easy, stress free and honestly the best car purchasing experience I have ever encountered with. He showed me a few options in my price bracket and was very knowledgeable about all the Jeep answering any questions I had. He did not try to nickle or dime me and push a more expensive car on me, he listened to what I wanted and delivered!! He was patient and kind and when it came down to 2 choices of Jeep I was torn between he let me take the time to look at them both inside and out, side by side and drive them both twice so I knew I was making the perfect fit for me. I really loved this place at one point in time still like them but they need to work on get the job done right in service when a customer is let them know whats up with there car. But I get its there job but no one should have to bring a car back 5 time in a month every Friday cause that all you get off to bring it in. I really wish they see how much time they took from me doing that instead of just listening to what I was saying and really look it over right. The guy Scott there seem to be a nice guy and taking the time out for me I appreciate it but would like to see more effort from all the staff not just one. By far one of the best sales experiences I’ve had was with Nick Barone. Not only does he go above and beyond to make sure you get the car you want, he knows all of the details for every car you could possible ask about! I personally am not that great at making up my mind about a deal, but he was right there with multiple write ups, showing and explaining the differences in multiple vehicles, and going over each detail until I found the one for me. I spoke to a young gentleman named Hader (a sales rep) over the phone complaining about the bad exeriences I have had the past two weeks of dealing with car dealerships here on long island. Hader told me that Dutchess county ram did not work that way and promosed me that it would be a better experience. i drove two hours and met with him. he was a gentleman, polite and was true to his word that he would get me the best deal possible with no nonsense. He did and in doing so just got a loyal customer for years to come. Good job Hader!!! They are lucky to have you as an employee.Rich

If you are looking for a Dodge dealership, this is not the one. We were lied to from start to finish throughout our buying process. From the Sales to Finance to Service departments.After agreeing to terms on a 2021 Dodge RAM Big Horn, our initial inspection of the vehicle found several scratches after it had been reportedly detailed and ready for our sale. In addition, the rear bumper had markings from when they sprayed the liner for the truck bed (which they later attempted to charge us for even though the salesman had advised the dealership would include in the deal at no additional cost) and the interior was half vacuumed. Lastly, when the salesman drove the vehicle around for us to inspect we found two razor blades on the exterior front hood of the car. All of these items were brought to the salesman attention with not much of a reaction other than I will drive it around back to service to see what they can do. They did not do one thing to correct and the salesman was still persistent in having us sign the paperwork, bring the vehicle home and then for us to call back to an make a service appointment for them to fix. We refused.Long story short, it took them 5-6 attempts at fixing all of the issues over the course of 3 plus weeks. Each time requiring us to drive to the dealership to inspect. During this time we did not hear back from one manager. We required to call everyday for updates. We ended up still purchasing after what appeared to be a fully repaired vehicle. Prior to us pulling off the lot the salesman had the nerve to say Hey, I know we had issues here but do me a favor and when you receive the email from Chrysler give me a good review. Comical. And to add, I drove the vehicle approximately 20 miles prior to the low fuel indicator starting to flash. Yes, they allowed me to drive off the lot with less than a quarter tank of gas.Then a couple of days later after the purchase we noticed there was still scratch marks that we thought was fixed. The dealership had tricked us with a wax job. We called immediately to speak to a manager (again) in which we were told they were busy but would leave a message to call us back ASAP.This was a repetitive theme during our entire communication with the dealership. We had requested to speak to a manager countless times. We first spoke to the dealership on March 6th. Ended up purchasing the vehicle on March 31st and as I write this review on April 5th a manager has yet to call us back despite daily requests. Our most recent request for a call back being today, April 5th. This despite several associates, salesman and finance managers advising they have left the message and we will get a call back right away.We will be sending a formal letter of complaint to the dealership (I predict this will be ignored), Dodge and the Better Business Bureau. Maybe someone will then care and give us a curtsy of a call back. The one and ONLY reason we followed through with our purchase is the price. As we could not find another dealership to match the price. Mainly due to low inventory.Shame on us I guess. This place will promise you everything and provide nothing. They did toss a free oil change our way because we said they did nothing to make the situation better. Absolutely zero customer service. I would not go back here if they offered a year worth of free oil changes. It would have been worth paying the extra money for a different vehicle from another dealership. Do yourself a favor and avoid Dutchess Dodge in Poughkeepsie, NY at all costs.
