I am new to understanding cell phones and I had a question about advanced calling. I spoke with Tony and he was very kind, patient, helpful, and, was very pleasant. Hes a great person to have in your company!

I went in on 10/31 for a new phone. Matt Gonzalez assisted me and it was a great experience. Definitely recommend.

Our experience was wonderful. Kyle was our associate and he was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. The store was super busy and he and Harry had a great handle on things. They greeted each customer and made sure everyone was attended to. They were so personable and worked so well together that we didn’t mind the wait. Kyle was thorough and even though it was as closing time he and Harry took their time with each customer, never hurrying us along.

Great Job Verizon for keeping us Safe.Although this business is a cell phone store and basically specialize in selling electronics, it was refreshing to see the lengths that this business went through to keep its staff and customers safe, but then you go into places that sell FOOD all day everyday and theres No Hand Sanitizer. 🤔In my humble opinion, what Verizon is doing to keep the public safe should be The Model for All businesses

I got very good service at the Verizon in the 44 Plaza (Poughkeepsie). I brought my mobile phone here and when I have questions or need help fixing things on my phone, the staff is willing to give me assistance.There are times when the employees are very busy with customers and you may have to wait for help, but when they arent busy answering phones and selling phones or helping other customers who are in line ahead of you; they are more than happy to take out the time needed to help you.

Verizon has over complicated a simple task is paying a bill very dissatisfied.

The staff were very friendly however I almost felt as tho there kindness was just an act put on for the customer experience. There kindness didnt feel genuine. All that aside they were very helpful with our transaction and its not a bad store at all.

Overall decent experience. The fellow that assisted me was helpful and knowledgeable. Nice little store and I was able to get in and out quickly. Side note... as we were wrapping up my situation I noticed another customer come in with what appeared to be something hed bought there that wasnt working properly. Rather than grill the guy on how he might be responsible for the damage and drag things out... the store manager apologized quickly and instructed the fellow at the register to kindly do an exchange... I was impressed, for what its worth... :-)

Bad shop not a corporate store, the female representative blatantly lied to me. I then promptly walked out of the store and went to the verizon corporate store on 9W were the lie was discovered and my issues were completely solved enough said...

My phone was not working correctly and was causing issues with using any of the apps I thought I had to buy a new phone. I walked in there and they fixed the problem immediately as if it wasnt an issue at all. I am so grateful to be a Verizon Customer of 25 years.

My iPhone 6s Plus, which isnt that old, needed to be replaced. The battery was failing and Apps werent working properly.Im at an age where I no longer need Toys. I want tools! Useful tools, to make my life easier. That work consistently and flawlessly.I do not give a 5 Star review to every establishment.I would rather give compliments than a bad review. Everyone has their opinion, based on their experience.This is based on my experience today.Ive been to other Phone & Verizon stores. They all, always want to do is to sell you another phone. PERIOD!!Rarely can they answer any questions; other than what it will vaguely cost you.Ms. Rebecca Meade spent well over an hour making a sale.She was very patient and could translated generational nomenclature into plain English.No authentic mumbo-jumbo; to confuse the customer and think theyre getting something that they really were not going to get.She spent the time to transfer data from 2 different operating systems and make certain that both new phones worked and their existing Apps, worked.She was truly concerned, more about making us happy; than making a commission.In conclusion: this is one very happy and satisfied customer. Were glad that we were lucky to have made our purchase without regrets.

I was in Verizon wireless and had a very pleasant experience some guy named Raheem helped wiz through all my accounts to help me navigate upgrades and purchases today I thought it was cool because he had the answers to all my questions no need to wait for help gonsee this young man.

My phone wasnt working correctly and I walked in there and they helped me out right away and fix the situation and the problem I got my phone up and running without me having to buy a new phone. I am so grateful to be a Verizon Customer of 25 years.

Desales agent that I dealt with was on point he even help me on the first day when I went by there to fix my phone and he helped me out great awesome employee hes only been there a couple months and hes on his way to the top he has no problem to strive for what he wants he is a outstanding worker who helped me out even though I came there late night and he helped me out when the store was closed and the couple days later he gave me the right charger for my phone I will recommend this place to anybody

Stopped into Verizon today to get some issues fixed on my phone and I dealt with a gentleman named Tony who was the manager at the time. It was the best experience I have ever had at a Verizon store. He had a great sense of humor he was very personable and all-around nice guy. I will not go to any Verizon store other than his in the future 😉👍🏼

Alright in a pinch. There are better ways like buying your own equipment as theirs is more expensive than Amazon. If youre in a rush theyll set you straight and get you going.

Christian Hernandez was terrific. He knew his stuff, was friendly & efficient, and I left happy. He advised me on the best devices and supporting products (screen protectors and cases) for my needs (not someone else’s needs) and he didn’t push too hard when I opted for some but not others. I will definitely return to him if I need items in the future. ----- Store was clean and COVID spacing signs were clear. Store manager did his best to see everyone was attended to without unnecessary waiting, but without rushing through the people already being helped. Between Dutchess and Ulster Counties I’ve been to 4 Ver-Wireless locations, and this one was by far the best. Thank you Christian.

Kristina was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping me set up a Gizmo watch (with inexpensive insurance plan) for my active 7 year old. If you are thinking about doing something like it for your kid, DO IT! and go to Kristina for help. I thought Id done my research, but she definitely gave me some extra pointers.This thing is great! Weve had it for a while now and it has been worth every penny. For a little back story, my son is a bit on the adventurous side and got himself lost (to us, he thought he was fine) in the woods surrounding our home. I decided I needed the ability to track him, did some research and headed to Verizon to get a Gizmo. He absolutely loves it and I love that I can track him, but it has more uses than that.What if it gets lost? The band around the watch connects in 3 places. My son wears the thing all day, every day and its never been a problem.What if my kids in a bad service area? See how I said, the woods surrounding our home? I live in an area notorious for poor reception aka the boondocks. I have never once had a problem locating my sons watch, even if my phone couldnt connect a call.30 second automatic answering. If your kid doesnt answer within 30 seconds, watch picks up automatically and you can hear everything going on in the background. Concerned about a bully on the bus? Set the watch to silent mode and call. You can hear everything being said by and around your child. My son goes out riding quads with my husband often. I have the security of knowing if, God forbid, something happens to my husband, my son can call me and I can find him.Silent Mode: With the Gizmo app on your phone, you can set silent mode for specific times during the day. For my son, his phone is silent from the time he gets on the bus to go to school until a few minutes before hes due to arrive home. This stops them playing with it in school.Texts and calls: The watch can only make and receive calls and texts from numbers you program using the app. No giving out a number to potential creeps. I love getting random texts from my son when Im at work. You can also choose specific texts that are allowed to be sent so there isnt the distraction of full text conversations.Alarms: You can set alerts to remind your child to finish chores or tasks. The watch will beep to let them know what the task is. You can give a time frame and the watch gives virtual rewards for things being done on time.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this Verizon store when getting our new cellphone upgrades. The store was clean and the staff was super friendly. Steve Malizia was quick to greet us and helped us with every one of our needs. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend going here for all your cellphone needs.

My thorough review for the January 2020 experience at Verizon Retail Store on Dutchess Turnpike, Poughkeepsie is as follows:I want to extend my gratitude toward the gentlemen who assisted me in the purchase I made in January 2020. My beloved Galaxy S7, bought in 2016, finally had a tantrum, crashed, and ceased working. I went here to buy a new one immediately, after having no time to do any research on current models. I quickly chose a phone similar to my now inoperable S7. After realizing I may be happier with a different model, I returned a second time a few days later for an exchange to yet another one.On the first visit, Drew was very respectful of my time, listened closely to my needs and offered wise advice. This is a man who enjoys his job, which is not common to find in salespeople nowadays. Hes quite cheery, personable, and a breath of fresh air. He offered me a couple of discounts that I did not expect. He also assisted in bringing some very important programs over to my new phone. The gal at the desk also was extremely jovial and personable. Well done, and a successful first encounter with this store.Thereafter, I dealt with Chris. Chris was kind, very professional, and focused. He immediately greeted me when I walked in, as Drew had also done. I explained my situation, and requested the phone I now thought I wanted to buy after extensive research, but it wasnt in stock. Chris saw my angst and listened well to my exact needs. He immediately offered me an alternative, which was a bit pricier, but had far more necessities that would provide me with what I really needed for business. I agreed, and Chris got to work quickly doing my exchange. To my surprise, this wonderful Magician was somehow able to port over well over 100,000 texts to my new phone from the old phone that had initially ceased working. He handed me the phone and I stared at it in shock. I could not have been happier to see 3 years worth of texts piling on to my new phone, as it was critical to my line of work to save all data. Id previously thought it was all lost. Chris also escorted me to the door and held it for me as I left the store. I have never had a salesperson do this, and I was extremely impressed.Finally, I made a call to this store with a couple of brief questions about the old phone which I will continue trying to perform additional data recovery on. Another gentleman assisted me; I believe his name was Tyler or Taylor. He confidently provided me with an expedited answer to a tech question in under 2 minutes, which Verizon Corporate could not even answer after a combined total of over 4 hours on the phone with them.These men are trained well, and I will undoubtedly return in the future for any cellular needs. I would recommend them all without hesitation, and again wish to extend my sincere gratitude to them all.

Couldn’t be more please with the customer service from Taylor and Drew. They both went above and beyond to make sure I was getting what was best for my business. Not only did they know what they were talking about but they genuinely cared about making my visit as easy and helpful and possible. We all know how horrible the route 9 store can be so if you’re in Poughkeepsie this is the place to go for sure!

I have been a Verizon customer for years and although they are pricey, I believe you get what you pay for and I cite my one and only experience with another carrier, Sprint, which lasted exactly 24 hours. I had switched in a misbegotten attempt to save money and still maintain coverage as I had with Verizon. The Sprint sales people sold me a bunch of nonsense when it came to coverage. I went to my home in Poughkeepsie and received only one bar on x- not even 3g. The I had my wife attempt to call- no call went through. Back to Verizon I went and Stephen took care of the whole mess, explained everything in great detail, and hooked me up to a new iPhone. What a difference when you are engaged with a pro who knows his job top to bottom. Yes you may pay a little more but you get a ton of good in return. I especially like the store- it is heads and shoulders above going to Best Buy or the Verizon factory store on South Road. You will not be sorry. Best customer care and service in the area!

Anthony was amazing! It was my first time upgrading in a while and he helped me find exactly which phone would be best for me! And he made sure everything was transferred from my old phone and I had everything I needed before I walked out of the store. Definitely a super positive experience.

Comparing this Verizon store to many others, the people that work here are very friendly, they meet you at the door, and take you to an individual desk and take as much time as needed to address why you came in. You dont feel hurried. I didnt feel the comfort level at other stores as I do here. Chris did a great job explaining options when I came in with a frozen phone. He reset the phone for me and then told me about a buyout option where he paid my phone balance so I could get a new phone. He also Transferred all my phone content. Highly recommend this store. And ask for Chris!!

I went to the Verizon store located on route 44 in poughkeepsie to look into purchasing a new phone. I was greeted by kyle who was very helpful and professional. I had a couple of questions and stopped in a couple days later. I was greeted by Anthony D. Anthony and Kyle both sat down with me and answered all my questions and both very helpful.

After months of issues with my phone, I am pleased to say that the store corrected my problem. It would have been nice if this had happened earlier, before I spent hours and hours dealing with a defective device, but, late is better than never. The manager did really try to make sure that they were doing a good job correct the problems, and they have assured me it wont happen again to anyone else.

Recently went up to see about swapping from sprint to Verizon, best decision I’ve ever made . Tom Haass made the whole process as easy as can be . I’m not one to leave reviews but I went completely out of my way to write this and even call in and let the managers know that he needs a raise . We were on a time crunch and he did his best to get us out on time but still made sure everything was right and showed us how everything worked . I couldn’t ask for better customer service ! While they dont fix the problem locally the very helprep gave us the contact information to have the repair done.
