Please just let me buy my game and get out. Always down to chat about video games, but I don’t need 3 GameStop employees behind the desk pitching me the power up rewards over and over. I already know mine is expired and don’t want another one. Especially when they’re aggressive about it.

I’ve been shopping here for years. The store manager nick tried to sell me a Switch bundle and told me the only way I could buy one was with a warranty and game. He said it’s Game Stops new policy. I called 4 other Game Stops in the area that said this wasn’t true and I could come to another store and buy a Switch alone. I called him out on this later in the day and he said what do I have to gain and the other store we’re going to get in trouble for not selling bundles. I’ve always liked this store for the size and selection but now will be taking my business elsewhere. They lost a good customer and I will spread the word.

Game Stop at south road poughkeepsie, Ny . sells deflected games consoles and when you talk to them on the phone they act like they dont hear u.

GameStop has consistently provided some of the absolute worst customer service / shopping experiences Ive ever had. The local stores are typically messy, out of stock on basically everything, and run/managed by kids that literally dont care if your problem gets resolved. The main site is no better; from offering almost exclusively pre-owned consoles to cancelling orders immediately after accepting payment. I paid for an online order with a gift card, got a confirmation email, and then immediately received an email saying my order was cancelled. Its been almost 2 months and I still haven/t received a replacement gift card. Add in their terrible politics and you have a company that deserves to go out of business. GameStop sucks across the board.

Id give zero stars but that is not an option. I went in for a simple affordable headset. They have 10 different choices. But when I get to the counter they say the only thing in stock is the 225 dollar pair. Got to hell game stop.

Its easy to beat up on retail locations but this GameStop showed A+++++ customer service today. Purchases were pleasant and easy but when I came back in and my daughter had left her stuffed animal and special rock in the store they showed they really do care. Mike looked all around the store and recovered both items . My daughter is thrilled and Mike deserves something from the company for going above and beyond normal levels.

Definitely out of all locations I have been to, an all time favorite! Larry and his employee are absolutely amazing. Very professional, helpful and courteous. I wish there were more people like them in the world. Even if that was the case, this store would still stick out more and still be on top!

Wonderful GameStop store. The clerks were very helpful in finding the game I was searching for. The store was very well organized and the staff was able to answer the questions I had thouroughly. Would shop here again, not that this was my first time by far.

The store: This is by far the best Gamestop Ive ever been inside of. It was clean, spacious, well-lit, and didnt have the smell that can linger in game shops sometimes. The employees were all nice and helpful, and made sure to help customers thoroughly without holding up the line.The person who helped me: Michael was super sweet and helpful and made sure I had what I needed to throw the most embarrassing karaoke birthday party possible. He went above and beyond to find a game and a mic for me when they didnt have the specific one I was looking for.(Larry even looked around in the back to see if they had a mic that would work with both of my consoles, and saved me about $10 in the process.)You shouldnt waste your time at any other GameStop. If you actually need help with something or value good service, this is the one for you.

Employee that helped us out was very knowledgeable about the games and seemed to reccomend games he himself enjoyed. He helped us out with a very specific question and was very aware of our personal preferences. Its a small store, but definitely some of the best game advice Ive gotten from a Gamestop.

It was busy understandably, but every time I go theyve been nice and explain things to people who may not know about them - like points and differences between game versions .

I just trade my Xbox 360 plus games for an upgraded Xbox the staff there is very knowledgeable friendly great service .

Not the same as it used to be. Gamestop seems like it struggling for business, its a sad sight to see cause i used to love that place.

Slow service. I stand on the line to just purchase a gift card. 2 other dudes off to the side talking. Then Im up next then the dude off to the side says he was waiting before me and cashier helps him first. I left with out making a purchase.
