They make up their own policy on the spot on who they sell pokemon cards to. The female employee makes you feel like your doing something wrong by asking if they have any. The male employee is her puppet and was no help either. I suggest going to the Rt.9 locations instead of dealing with miserable people who do not like their job.

If I could give 0 stars for this location I would, the customer service these people have is absolutely terrible it’s not hard to be a decent human being but clearly they don’t think so. Every time my partner and I go they seem to have an issue with everyone who walks in. We asked if they had a game one of the employees opened the drawer and went “nope don’t have that” the last time we went in the woman working had an attitude as soon as we walked in we asked if they’d be closing soon she rolled her eyes and said “why would we be closing” they close at 8... it was 7:30 😒😒😒

This is one of the saddest stores that I have ever been 2. There are NO PlayStation 4 controllers PlayStation 4 consoles and any PS3 game you have to read a list from paper because youre not allowed to view them the games are in the back of the store. If you want to waste your money and waste your time in life by all means go to the store otherwise pass. I forgot to mention that the employees are Horrible and unprofessional. They make you feel like your in the wrong and are miserable beings! This place is a joke to the gaming community. If I could give negative stars ratings I would. Shame on gamestop for being so pathetic and wasteful. I want Electronics Boutique back!!!

Awful customer service. I came to pick up a game I bought online. Guy turned me away because he was busy. He told me this with two large slices of pizza in his hand.I saw three customers walk up to the door and be turned away. Should have just bought my game of Amazon.

Had pre-ordered a game back in January. I went to pick it up today and the girl who was working the counter (not her fault in the least, I think.) Told me they had lost the game in their drawers because they were changing management? At least she gave me a full refund, but Im disappointed none the less.

Unarguably the best GameStop I’ve ever been to hands down. I’ve been frequenting this specific location since I was probably 16 or 17 so going on over 10 years and have never had a bad experience. Store manager James has always gone above and beyond to help me in any possible way I need for any gaming need I have. All the employees are trained incredibly well and only care about helping the customer to the beat of their abilities. Can’t recommend this store enough.

Went to this location today to do a trade and exchange a game that doesnt work. The store manager said that they are not doing any more trades until further notice. I was a little disappointed but understood due to the virus. So, I told the manager that I had a game that didnt work and that I paid for the insurance that would allow me to exchange the game for one that works. The Manager then directed me to his employee. He looked the game up and said the closes store that has the game is in Kingston, NY. I said Im stuck with this broken game if I cant get to Kingston? The employee said yeah and sat game down and went back to his computer. No Im sorry for your inconvenience or nothing, he was just real nonchalant. I normally dont have issues with this location but lately, the regulars havent been at the store. As of late, the service at the GameStop on rt 9 is better.

Place is ok at best. Some of the guys are really good others sit in front of the register talking and not taking care of the customer. So if you can deal with that and the fact they try to push a bunch of items you dont want on you, you may enjoy it. Me not so much.

Came with everything you needed for games and accessories and if it didnt have it they instructed you where you can get it.

The employees have amazing customer service skills, I called and asked them to hold a product for me for a couple minutes. And they did. As soon as I got there I was able to purchase it. They didn’t give me any attitudes or anything.

Said my perfectly fine controllers bumper button was sticking when I know its fine. Adult owned and cleaned regularly. I cannot wait for Gamestop, both this store and in general to go out of business. It is just a matter of time.

Very helpful. Went in there to get my PS4 with God of War, walked out with like 5 games plus everything I wanted. The clerk told me how to use the rewards system properly and recommended great games. Also, Gamestop need to stop playing around with hours and get this man what he needs. I went in store at 1030am (30 minutes after they opened) and the manager was juggling my purchase, 3 phone calls and a delivery and was still helpful.

Not enough staff to help customers. Only one employee and customers that had gaming systems that needed to be tested before trading in. I did enjoy that my transaction was quick since I reserved the game online ahead of time.

I ordered a controller online.Before you check out your items, GameStop doesnt give you an estimated arrival time. Then after your order is complete, they tell you it will arrive in a whopping 15 days. Today is the 15th day, and now Im told that it will arrive in two more days, which is 17 days and late.I dont recommend GameStop and I will never purchase anything from them online again.

Its cramped in there. This store should just move to a different location, its tucked away in a corner and the lack of space make it somewhat difficult to get around especially when there is a lot of people around.I would suggest moving the store to maybe the lots near Aarons.The workers are fine at times maybe a bit rude. I had one employee complain I was buying something just because it was on sale.

I have never had a bad experience in this particular game stop. Been going here for a solid decade for random things. The staff there is always friendly. Recently got a copy of omega ruby on sale.

I attempted to return the new call of duty after purchasing it the day before and it wouldn’t be read by my Xbox one. The clerk told me my only options were an identical exchange or store credit. When the disc wasn’t being read I purchased a digital copy so I could play that day (same day as I purchased the hard copy) so I wouldn’t need the hard copy anymore. I recently bought another hard copy game and it was being read just fine so I know it wasn’t my Xbox nor would I want to chance a new copy of COD from that store as I don’t feel like going back and forth a third time. After explaining my situation to the clerk (or manager, not sure as I left as I was getting upset) he then said what he really could only do was an identical exchange. I called customer service and was told I could get store credit but it is up to the store to choose to do so. The clerk was deciding not to give me store credit given my situation . Apparently 60$ was more important than my future business. Needless to say I’m not going back there and unfortunately any GameStop ever again. Just download your games straight from the marketplace folks.

The guy that looked like Jesus helped me to get my limited edition Legend of Zelda 3DS. Even though it was sold out at his store, he called another store and tried to get them to hold it for me. Even though they did not put it on hold, he took down my number and told me how many 3DS were left at the other one and encouraged me to head down there. I got what I wanted because of him.

This location is a joke. Was told that they would be having a midnight release, turn up and theyre not even there. If youre not doing a midnight release, dont tell people when they call day of that you are. Will never be going here again, only the one on Rt 9.
