Very rude order taker named Jay. He was rude, condescending and has no business working in customer service. He also didn’t get our order right and then wanted to argue about why. He also sold me a sandwich they were out of and didn’t refund me for the difference in the sandwich I ended up getting.

I went in to Starbucks with my daughter. There are tables withPeople eating and drinking their coffee literally 5 feet away from the line. When I pointed out that there were five large horse flies swarming around in there food display, the weasel behind the counter told me to leave because I wasn’t wearing my mask.

Just walked in this store w/o a mask. I thought Johnson county did not have a mask mandate. Shane at the register said I needed a mask. She got rude, I got rude and she called the police. Isn’t it a shame that is what our public servants are wasting their time on. There was a man behind me with no mask, people everywhere with no masks and she orders me to leave. Then tells the police she wants to do a trespassing grievance against me so if I ever return I will be arrested. I will NEVER spend another dime at Starbucks.

The rudest starbucks staff i’ve ever encountered. Totally kills the starbucks vibe. And not only that but they are extremely slow and pay little attention to mobile orders. The staff demonstrates total ageism and shows 0 respect for my teenage daughter that comes in and is a paying costumer. My daughter goes up there to study and they shoo her off with a snarky responses.

They were out of the unsweetened vanilla syrup today and worked with me to find another drink that would be equivalent, on top of that they were beyond generous and charged me less than the drink would cost because of that. Will definitely be back and glad to know the employees care!

I found it very unprofessional for employees to be flirting and handing out their personal phone numbers. Specifically, Erica! Maybe she would be better off working in a bar.

The drive through is insanely slow every time. They’ve also messed up my order many times. This location is on my way to work but instead I drive out of my way to Dunkin’ because they’re fast and get my order right every time. And much more pleasant

Slow service and majority of the time shorted on my drink with at least an inch at the top of the cup left unfilled. If I’m gonna have to sell a kidney to afford a starbucks, I’d appreciate getting fully what I paid for. Also, quit skipping the sleeves on the hot drinks. They help.

Very fun. They sell the most AMAZING donuts and the drinks are also great. I love there hot chocolate. Its a definite five stars.

The employee named Bek is an absolute gem! They were so engaging and friendly, not to mention so damn good at what they do!There were ingredients missing for my favorite coffee drink but they managed to substitute those ingredients to make something that tastes exactly the same!Manager material, as a matter of fact.Would 100% come back again, thanks to the awesome barista!Dear management: appreciate this employee!

I have been going to this location ever since they have opened it. It can be busy and hectic at times but they always do there best to be quick and move the line along. Never had a bad experience and they always willing to get me water if I ever have my dog with me. Recently became lactose intolerant and I have never had them treat me back for having a complicated order when it comes substitute. Defiantly coming back!!

The always busy drive thru of this Starbucks is a testament to the staff and quality of product consistency at this location. Best to order in advance and pick-up inside if you are in a hurry. Or a nice place to hang out and relax or kill some time. Nice little patio area outside to sit and relax too.

Typical Starbucks. Pleasant in the way virtually all of the dedicated Starbucks are. Little to set It apart, though the staff were actively pleasant.

Very polite and friendly service. One side is facing the road, so frequent cars kinda spoil the atmosphere, but the front yard has a really nice design, small fence, brick pillars. There are enough tables, so a lot of place to sit and enjoy your delicious coffee.

Just visited here through mobile ordering my drinks right but my mans is completely wrong, he asked for extra ice and extra caramel it said so on the ticket of how we ordered.

I love this Starbucks! The layout is very open and spacious, there is always somewhere to sit. The staff are super personable and always go above and beyond! If this location were closer to me I would visit it much more frequently.

If you ever want to feel invisible - come here!!! Wait at the register to order while the baristas chat with each other and go about their business. I get theyre busy preparing orders but maybe acknowledge your customer is there? Someone will be with you in a moment! Or something? My order has always been right though!

Friendly and efficient

This place turns into daycare everyday after 330 when kids get off school. First off, they knew about the crowd but has yet done anything about it. Need more help during this period of time specially taking care of the filthy restroom. Other than that, it’s the first time I ordered the lemon pound cake and it tasted great.

First, let me say I am a frequent Starbucks customer. I have visited Starbucks all over. This is the worst service I have ever seen at this location. I am sitting here on Fathers day at what is now 8:56 am. We have been here for nearly 45 minutes and are just getting our coffee. They have one register open and 25 people in line. No one is calling out drinks. There are 15 drinks sitting on the counter and several sandwiches laying there where random people are coming up and going through. We ordered two sandwiches. Our first sandwich was ice cold. They remade and it came back ice cold. The second sandwich was incorrect but in the insanity seemed worth way to much effort to try and get corrected. This is absolute chaos is the suburban mecca of Prairie village. The store manager looks completely like shes falling apart and unequipped to this challenge. I suggest corporate comes out and evaluates this location and sends in reinforcements. Wont be returning to this location.

Great service

I hope Starbucks corporate starts to use this location as a training ground for other Starbucks. The the level of customer service at this location is off the charts. The store is always clean, and all the condiments and Extras are always well stocked.

Great group of people. It gets very busy in the mornings and especially busy on the weekends, but everyone on the team is a champ! One of my favorite stores.

I love to come here during my lunch break and read my book. This location is usually pretty busy through the drive thru and also inside, but they have a lot of nice seats with outlets that you can sit and work on something or read. The staff is friendly and the drinks are made well.

If i could give zero star, i would. 30mins at the drive through and still waiting. It sucks we have no choice we are stuck. The app is horrible for online/mobile orders too. STARBUCKS get your act together!

Went to grab a coffee and the employees were extremely rude for no reason. I kept trying to get a hold of an employee because they got my order wrong and she simply kept looking away trying to ignore me. After they finally got to me, the lady insisted my order was correct. I said no that’s not what I asked for so she remade it with a bad expression on her face. After my new drink was made I was walking out and she loudly screamed YOUR WELCOME with the rudest tone. Where’s the costumer service?

A happening place during peak times. The drive up is packed as is the store. Its everything you can expect from a Starbucks. Everything is generally consistent from one store to the next.

This is a very busy neighborhood hangout. The staff is friendly and efficient. Even when there was a long line, Ive never had to wait more than 15 minutes.

This is my go-to Starbucks and has been for about 5 years. I continue to have speed of service issues with this location (and the old one in the same strip mall for that matter). If I were to compare it to others in the area, it is below-average. It is in such a good location but the speed of service is a huge detriment.

Generally fast and nice service. This location can be very busy in the morning and if you catch it at the wrong time, you could be waiting longer than you want and the staff might be a little flustered.

The cafe service is remarkably slow (close the 15 minutes) for straightforward drinks like drip coffee and cold-brew. The service at this location is polite but impersonal, and further demonstrates why Starbucks is not a more frequent stop for me.

The wait for coffee in the drive through and inside are usually super long, they drinks are over priced, and the Prairie Village Shops tax makes the drinks even more expensive. Ive had coffee thats burnt several times there as well. They are happy to redo the coffee but you usally have to go inside and wait for it which takes time after youve already waited a while in your car. Wait time is especially long if you go in the morning on your way to work (even at 615am). I usually avoid this place most of the time and chose other Starbucks locations nearby because of the wait. The people who work there are really very nice!

This is one of my favorite Starbucks because its close to home - but also the service is great. My orders may take a little extra time, but I dont mind waiting. While Im waiting, I get a chance to observe the work flow and attitude of the baristas and staff. One patron ahead of me was on crutches - the barista taking orders told him to go ahead and find a place to settle in and shed bring him the coffee when it was ready. She kept checking in with the barista at the end to see if his was ready. When it finally became ready, she got slammed on the register...I could see the consternation on her face. So I offered to deliver the coffee. She was SO super gracious and thankful. I notice when people care - and I reward that with repeat business.

I appreciate being greeted at the order counter and knowing me by name.

If you like coffee and like Starbucks, then youll recognize the flavor and quality of this Starbucks, as it is exactly the same as every other Starbucks.

Google fiber internet is always fast. Theres always a place to sit and the patio is great. Wouldnt ask anything more of a neighborhood Starbucks. :-)

Drink cup got set aside on assembly line. After 10 minutes of waiting name was still not called. Not acceptable for a customer who is legally blind with a white cane present when order was taken.

Third strike and you’re out Prairie Village Starbucks. Just wasted 30 minutes trying to get my correct drink and ended up with nothing but a refund and a card for next time.Strike one, you forgot my friend’s coffee for 30 minutes, strike 2, you were running a poor barista to a frazzle while another worker chatted on his headphones and held a broom. Over & out, i’m going to Ward Parkway and/or Ranchmart from now on. They have great service, high standards, and sincere & friendly staff.

This is the worst Starbucks ever. I live 2 min away and yet I drive much farther to go to another as 9 times out of 10 my drink is wrong through the drive through. $5 for a drink you throw away is ridiculous.

Im a regular at this Starbucks and have been a gold card member for a while but recent experiences make me not want to come back to the Prairie Village shop. The staff only seem to care about the drive through. The batistas that are put on the inside registers make mistakes and are ill trained. They seem to only care about how quickly they give you the drink, not the quality. Two times in a row my mother has gone and her tea latte was literally undrinkable because they did not add the ingredients that were listed in the tea latte. Ive had other people close to me, and myself, who have had problems with this Starbucks. Only reason Im not giving 1 star is because a few batistas there are top notch. Please train your staff better and focus on the quality of the drink, not how fast you can give it to me.

Quick service and friendly staff

This location is by far the worst in the entire metro area. What makes them so bad you may ask? Their Management and employees. After several louse attempts at making a Frap, specialty coffees, custom drinks and even ordering food and it coming out cold. They; as in the general and district manager, have failed to take in and handle multiple complaints in regards to the Prairie Village location. The staff is not from this area, some come as far from Grandview. Im by no means a public figure, nor care what they decide to do with their lives but the employees dont seem to realize that they serve, Senators and Representatives Which reside in the area, they serve all sorts of successful CEOs, large families of 10 = Im @Starbucks a lot, Ive seen people routinely drop $200 in coffee on their kids, mom and dad. My mother, my neighbor or the very few people who pass through this area.. you get the point?So, all we ask for is that your staff impart the quality that youre celebrated to be. Not the attitude, rude fullness or disrespect when I have ordered over 1,000,000 and counting, Cheese danishes and other treats which are supposed to be hot/warm/edible, not stiff and cold and then get looked at like were the problem when we say something about it. I dont call, I go in and immediately demand that I get the value of what i came and paid for. My friends and I are displeased at the standard your employees at this location have set for themselves, theres no merit, simply there is no distinction.That is the problem with companies like Starbucks in Prairie Village, YES it is independently owned but by a family that resides deep in Colorado. The directorate of this company is no where to be heard of. Simply leave a complaint or attempt to go in yourself and speak to the manager and you will get treated like #2.Ironically the only decent human being at this location who ACTUALLY CARES about the customers has green hair and I believe his name is Bruce.Im fit to be tied to say the least.
