Been a customer for 25 years. Not a fan of their phone service or on line My Verizon app. But have usually been satisfied with their in store service. This is an official Verizon store not an authorized retailer. Making an appointment moves you to the front of the queue when you arrive. Stephen, manager, took care of our need in a timely manner and provided additional information that we wouldnt have known to ask. Kudos...

I went to the phone repair store and was told my phone was unable to be repaired, so I decided to come to the Verizon store to check out my options to replace my phone. The only positive thing about my experience here was that the man checking people in was very courteous. He is the only reason I am giving 2 stars.The employee who was supposed to be helping me walked up to my mom and started talking to her without introducing himself to either of us. I think his name was Manuel. She said I was the one looking for a phone and he seemed uncomfortable talking to me and kept looking at my mom like he didnt believe what I wanted. I asked what people dont like about a certain phone and he told me nobody has any complaints and everyone thinks its perfect. I was playing with the phone and said that something was different from my current phone and it felt awkward. He said that a lot of people didnt like that about it. I asked about pixels and he told me they dont have any and I would have to go to best buy. I asked if he knew of anyone with demo pixels and he took me to them and basically stopped talking besides telling me I would have to order online from Google. I feel like once he realized I wasnt buying anything today he completely lost interest. I told my mom I would have to think about what phone to get and he walked away without saying anything.

Heaven forbid you need to talk to someone at the actual store in an emergency and can’t get there!!! The number sends you to the national line with absolutely no way to contact the actual store!!! This company is a joke! This is just insult to injury as they have been overcharging me for almost a year and not a single one of the people who handle this will call me back no matter how many times I’ve asked ( 5 times a month for 10 months!)

Normally Verizon has excellent customer service. Today when I walked in nobody acknowledged me, there was nowhere to check in, and for over an hour nobody talked to my friend and I to ask why we were there. After waiting for over an hour and a half they told us that they couldnt help us because the department we need is apparently closed on Sundays. I wish they had greeted us and asked why we were there when we got there, or even within a few minutes of getting there. They could have saved us a lot of time and now frustration.

We showed up at 320pm on Wednesday. 3 employees, one sitting up front and 2 sitting behind the counter and not one customer in the store. My father needed a new phone because his old flip phone fell apart. The young lady behind the desk asked if we had an appointment and we said we didnt know we needed one. We were told without an appointment we would get no assistance. No apologies, no effort to see if theres anything they can do. Just no. Not one customer in the store and sent walking. We went straight to the third party store in Prescott and was helped immediately and was in and out with a new IPhone in 20 minutes. Im not one to ever complain especially because Im the customer industry. If I denied a client like that Id be fired.

Called the listed local number for this store...Waited an hour on hold...got some national location with someone who spoke with a very difficult to understand accent, so never really got my question answered, never got ahold of the local office. For a communications company Verizon is ridiculously hard to communicate with. Thats just plane poor customer service from this company as a whole. Seems to be a pattern in their customer ratings. You might want to move on to one of their competitors.

Employee who greeted me was nice.Tried several times to walk in to get help on days when there was no customers in the store, but was told they were by appointment only.So I make an appointment to try and upgrade my old phone to the 5G promotion that Verizon has publicly advertised.The woman who helped me was very unhelpful and not knowledgeable about what the promotion entailed. Her customer service was below par, she was not even trying to look into further details of what the company had advertised. Was told I would only get $300 for a trade in on my old phone, whereas at a different location out of town they said I would get $700 trade in. Unfortunately, they were out of stock of the model cell phone I wanted at that time. Left frustrated to say the least.Called Verizon corporate number to get help over the phone and low and behold, I would get $700 trade in for my old phone if I upgraded to a 5G phone since I already had the unlimited plan in place.Would recommend just doing anything Verizon related online or over the phone, do not waste your time making an appointment.

The employee Rachel was unfriendly and rude to us while doing our phone upgrades. She was unwilling to explain anything to my elderly parent. At another point a man who appeared to be a manager approached another employee and seemingly in reference to a family that had just left said within earshot of customers “ungrateful customers should go somewhere else.” I have no idea what that family said to upset him, but how unprofessional.Overall, this location has employees who treat customers poorly. The lady managing the door/check in was the only one who was nice and personable.

I had gone to a Verizon authorized retailer on Glassford in P.V. yesterday and was told incorrect information. I left there frustrated because he couldnt help me because I had a Verizon no annual contract phone.Thank you very much, Stephen, you made my day !

We decided to drop by yesterday afternoon, the associates (4 of them) Were not doing anything. 2 associates were with families making a total of around 6 associates. we have been Verizon customers for awhile now. We wanted to look into upgrading our phones for Christmas, the associate told my husband to leave and just do everything online. It was an hour before closing and he obviously didn’t want to be bothered...We were even fine with making an appointment, but he was so rude and refused to even give us a moment, that we will most likely be switching to t mobile where our bill was going to be cheaper anyways. We just wanted to stay with Verizon since we had been with them awhile and we like to be loyal customers. Made an appointment for Tuesday but debating at this point on just cancelling. Multiple families we know in the area have t mobile and have just as good of service as Verizon, so maybe it’s time to change.Too bad.

This evening, after I got off of work at 5, I drove to my nearest verizon store to return the samsung note I just purchased two days ago. Not crazy about the phone and wanting to go back to the iPhone. I wanted to return it as soon as possible so that it would stay looking new and I wouldnt cause any damage. The verizon store told me I needed to go to a corporate store to do this. I had no problem with that but, the nearest corporate store is an hour away. I tried calling the phone number a few times that was listed online but, I couldnt get through to an actual person. Only the automated phone operator. So, I drive an hour to get there anyway. I arrived at 6:30 and the doors are locked with two employees inside working. The woman comes to open the door and tells me that they are booked up with their appointments and I will have to come back another day. I explained that I had just come from cottonwood and that when I tried calling I couldnt get through to anyone. I told her what I needed to do and she told me that her customer she was helping at the time would take her past close and for her to refund my phone and give me a new one would take at least half an hour. She also told me that I still had plenty of time to return the phone and to not worry about it.. So I go to get into my truck and wait a few minutes because I was pretty bummed. 10 minutes later at 6:42, the customers she told me that would take her until after 7 to wrap up, were walking out of the door and were already done. This woman was rude and very inconsiderate. And Im very displeased with how this all happened. Ive always had a job in customer service and always put my customers first.

My fiancé was treated very poorly by the associate Jacquelyn, she was very unprofessional.We showed up and instantly was getting short and rude answers, wasnt willing to help my fiancé with what we needed to have done. In the end I ended up calling Verizon customer support and had so much better response on my issue than I did in store, first time being inside a store will not be returning for anything. All I wanted was to be able to finish my trade in and have her listen to how we needed it done.

I was very disappointed with the only time I have ever tried to use the Prescott Valley Verizon store. I came in about 30 minutes before they closed. There was a wait outside and someone waiting informed me that they were the last ones the store could help. I poked my head in the store to confirm and they noted that after 7 PM, they would no longer help people waiting. I asked the clerk if she would consider making an exception as I had a very unique situation- I had a friend whos father had died and where he lived did not support her cell service. I was using an old Verizon phone to get prepaid time loaded on the phone so she could use that. She was leaving at 6 am the following morning. The clerk could not have cared less and told me that they do not serve people after 7 pm- 30 minutes away from close. My family has been a Verizon customer on their normal billing for over a decade and to be treated like that given the uniqueness and sadness (for my friend) of my situation was disappointing to say the least. Poor, uncaring, callous customer service from this location.

I came in to the store today with my mother in law whos phone is no longer working and needs a phone for emergency medical reasons they refused to help because they only have 2 employees and said they were only seeing people by apointment. And they were full. I proceded to wait on the phone for over an hour to talk to customer service and not a single person went into the store for an appointment. I would recommend getting rid of brian at this store as he was very unprofessional and rude, which i have on video.

We got my husband a new galaxy s20 last friday and ordered a screensaver and told Ernie the solutions specialist that we do not get mail form USPS at our home address he said it was coming FedEx and my husband said are you sure? He said yes. So we got the tracking number from USPS . I immediately called Ernie and left a message on his cellphone # he gave us and told him they were sending it by USPS and asked him to call me back he didnt so I called him the next day and left another message and still no call back. I found out that the package was returned and now they are out of stock. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!

Online shows the store hours are from 10am-7pm on Fridays. Called the number to confirm and it is out of service. Went to the store to pickup my phone and the store is closed with a paper sign showing new store hours. Multi million dollar company can’t even get there website right and phone lines fixed. This is another reason why Verizon has the lowest customer service ratings. Good thing your cell service makes up for that. #notimpressedverizon

She just sat behind the desk leaning back like she had something better to do attitude. A demonstration would have been nice even a little more enthusiasm in your voice would have made it better. My wife and I Visited the Verizon store to buy the latest iPhones yesterday. We were checked in by an employee who let us know they were running a little behind and to expect a 20 minute wait. 45 minutes went by and I noticed a couple who had arrived some time after us was being attended and checking out. I inquired with the employee who checked us in and asked if we were to be helped soon, and let him know we had been waiting now for almost an hour. The employee did not acknowledge the mistake and said “oh yeah something happened there, we were next in line and would continue to wait“.I was hoping he would apologize but he seemed very uncaring about the situation. I decided to leave because of his dismissive and unprofessional attitude. I hope their customer service improves.

Verizon seems to be the best wireless service in my area but going to the Verizon store sucks. Usually a 30 minute wait and most of the help seems to have your lucky that I am taking the time out of my busy day to help you attitude. The warranty I am paying extra for each month seems to be useless because the customer service experts who dont seem to give a sh** that me and millions like me pay their wages cant seem to be bothered enough to to find out what it covers. Shopping Verizon online is so much better than going into this store, however they did fix my issue and I have said this in the past I would prefer to have angry and upset and get the problem fixed rather than were so super nice, we smile a lot and are willing to make a lot of phone calls for you and we want to help but we cant help you, we no we cant help you but we are going to be super nice giving you the run around while we do nothing to help you, but were super nice.

Brought my own phone in,asked if it was able to work on their plan was told yes so I went for their unlimited prepay.Found out the sim reader was no good. And could only call out on WiFi.When I asked if it worked I assumed he would put a SIM in and check,my bad.Missed a chance on selling me a new phone and left me wondering if this is a company to watch. I have visited on several occasions. I have never had to wait in the line. If you are buying merchandise or need help with your phone, questions, etc, they are really great about taking care of you right away.As I understand it, those who are waiting are doing so as they are having their phone sent off through the store to get fixed when something is wrong like replacing a part or something similar. They have been very good about helping me with small issues and answering many questions I have had when I have gotten a new or replacement phone. My various experiences with Verizon have been a pleasure.

I had a friend of mine buy a phone from this store and he said the rep there was trying to rush him out to get the next sell. To make matters worse the rep set up my friends face recognition and set the code for my friend on his new iPhone 11. This wouldnt be a problem had the rep told my friend what the code is for the phone. The employee is now not wanting to help my friend and he is now apple locked out of his new paper weight. My friend is going to have to factory reset his phone and loose all his photos that are very close to his heart. The employee also took his old phone as a trade so he doesnt have anyway of getting those photos back from his old android phone. He just needs to hope icloud can get them back. Push poor customer service all they want at this store is your money.

My boyfriend drove me 100 miles on 2 separate occassions, and I still don’t have my new (refurbished) phone. The sales associates neglected to tell me to have my phone fully charged, set me up for a 1/2 hour wait, but filled my spot when we returned after 20 minutes, so I had to wait approx an hour towork with an agent, who informed me she couldn’t finish the backup because she was going home and the store was closing.I called Verizon directly, and Tito gave me a new upgraded IPhone 7, and a $250 credit for the inconvenience. Nobody in Prescott Valley even answers the phone, and that’s what you’re in the business of selling!! Extremely unprofessional in every way!!!!

Originally I was going to give this store ONE star. However, after speaking with the General Manager, explaining my elderly mothers very unhappy experience, Steve rectified the situation. I wont go into the details except to say I was very angry that I thought my elderly mother was taken advantage of, but when I called and explained the situation, Steve had my mom go back to the store and he completely restored my faith in this store. Therefore, I have upgraded my ONE star to a FIVE star. Thank you Steve for making the right choice and making my mom happy again!!!!

Every time I have gone into this store the staff has been very helpful. I am a salesman myself and I totally get what these guys are up against. Manny was a very good sales rep. This Verizon is an interesting mash up of good and bad. The bad outweighs the good by a land slide. I went in to the store because my phone had water damage and I was eligible for an upgrade so it was time to buy a new phone. The first person I dealt with was very very good, he was kind, did not treat me like garbage, very helpful. He walks me through everything, and then tells me the system is down so I have to wait. Fast forward two hours of time burning later, I return to the store. I am greeted by the greeter that previously signed me in, so far so good. Then I watch him call over the female employee and she scoffs, because I would come to find out it was almost her lunch time. She reluctantly approached me and talked to me, I told her exactly what i wanted and we went over to the counter, she proceeded to badger me and tell me that I would need my mommy to approve anything on the account even though I am 20 years old and just have a joint account to save money, we are both account administrators or whatever. She pestered me and demanded to see my ID to verify my age. This continued and she acted like I wasted her time. Furthermore she literally texted on her phone the entire time, paying almost zero attention to me past the badgering, and getting a sale because of the work her coworker had put in. I was under the impression that when you work on commission you should not be a jerk towards ANY standard customer since you need to make money...I should have simply ordered the phone online as I had done previously, then would have felt good about having a new phone and would not have felt like a piece of garbage after being treated like one...

I would suggest that the staff member who is greeting people and adding them to a waitlist find a way to ask what it is we need in a manner that the customer doesnt tell an entire story when all they do is add you to a waitlist. It would save a long story for the right person.

I came in yesterday expecting good service and to be honest I was expecting more from you guys. I did get what i wanted which was the Galaxy s9plus. I love the phone but the personal feel we used to get there isnt the same, you guys dont transfer over anything to the new phone, not very personable. Basically heres you new phone, you send your old one out and get out of my store. Very disappointed at the amount of unattentative people there. All the other employees were just standing around. Whats up with that? Ive been with Verizon for almost 10 years and didnt expect this at all.

They do have pretty good phone reception but terrible customer service. I really feel like the issue is that mobile phone providers have become utility companies. They really dont care about customer service, they change policy all too often, and the staff are too limited. Ive been with Verizon for 18 years. I would switch but Im not sure it will be any better anywhere else. Ideas?

A one stop shop for all of your Verizon needs. The store is usually busy but they always have some by the door ready to great you and check you in the wait list. They have places where you can sit down, and they also have a very wide verity of products.However, be warned that if you visit this store during peak hours, you should be prepared to be there for at least 30 min to an hour, if you are planning on setting up or updating a new plan.

As far as Verizon retail locations go, this is one of the best stores I have visited. The greeter is always nice and communicative, and the wait times are never egregious. The management staff, specifically Laura Long, always goes above and beyond the call of duty to figure out any issues and solve them promptly. The staff overall is actually knowledgable about the phones on hand and in stock, and are eager to help.While not every store will have the same experience, this location easily stands out as a premiere location.

However, when they put the new one on, the person put it on upside down, didnt use the dust remover stucker despite me asking them to (claiming they didnt need to), but then used it to remove dirt on the screen protector adhesive, ruining the adhesive which is obvious on the screen. I asked the manager to get someone who knew what they are doing to put one on, and he refused, stating he would give me a new one but will not allow any associates to put it on. Unreal. If the associate didnt know how to do it correctly, they should have said so. Poor customer service, as is usual with Verizon.

This site says people usually spend 15 to 45 minutes there, that is just waiting for a rep. Bought a Verizon Mifi 7 months ago with a 2 year plan, at a Verizon company store . 17 more months to go. The device failed and is dead. They will not replace it from their store stock. Blames the company that made it. The device says Verizon on it. They will mail me a new one. I am 1500 miles from my home. Verizon is good at selling stuff, but terrible customer care. Buyer BEWARE!

My phone battery was running slow and Verizon rep told me to go next door to Ufixit because Verizon was unable to check batteries (since when?). Ufixit rep was amazingly helpful but could not do Droid repairs for my model. Verizon missed the opportunity to upsell me to a newer model and was incredibly uninformative. Who are they hiring these days. I will go back to Ufixit for general computer or electronic repairs. They know what they are talking about.

Terrible customer service from the girl who helped us. She didnt explain anything and had an incredibly b!tchy attitude the whole time. We received zero help setting up the phone, which took us hours to figure out after we got home. Ill never go into this store again, and you shouldnt either.

It seems that the employees there are just lazy as crap. Not directing this towards all cause I am sure that there are people who care but for the most part they just want your money and want you out the door. If you are assigned a plastic lady named Heather to be your assistant, you turn and run the other direction. She did not want to help with my situation because it looked suspicious for her to do it. All it was is that I needed to cancel a current plan to start a new one. Just pure laziness. If you have a complicated problem that requires even a little bit of thinking, DO NOT go to that store. I am sure that it is quick and easy if you need something, well, quick and easy. But other than that it is a waste of time.
