Love Prescott dirt - very knowledgeable on all things rocks, dirt, stone! Had a problem with paint on my pavers and they helped me with the product to get rid of the paint - beautiful rocks in their yard as well

The people here are very great. Theyve listened theyve listened they will show you the different materials they have they ask you what youre trying to do with it the owner and his awesome wife are great people. I have driven by this place many years and have used them a few times. Started a new project their sales guy was really great and listened. Please support this business as they deserve to be one of the biggest companies in town because they have great service.

Its ok. Gravel is always very dirty when delivered. Got two loads and both looked brown with mud. Looks fine after the rain but causes issues with french drains and weeds.

Rented a dump trailer for wood chips. They helped us get it on and showed us how to work it! Amazing service! I’ve been using their services for a while. Only gripe I have is their garden dirt doesn’t have a lot of bio material in it. Looks more like a dark top soil. But can’t beat the price!

Have bought from Prescott and Pv both times the planters mix is clay soil. Do not buy, not even a bit of mulch in it. Got it wet and water just sat on the top for 2 minutes and leaked out the side of the bed, soil underneath was completely dry.

Very nice folks. But, they quoted me an out the door delivered price of $2,168.91 for 69 tons of 3/8 minus material, which was so good that I called back to verify that was really the price and they said yes! So I drove 189.4 miles round trip to look at it, pay for it and up my order to 100 tons. When I got there they said they had made a mistake and now the price would be basically 68% more. One person said they could haul 23 tons at a time and another said that they could haul 25 tons at a time. Yet no one offered to reimburse me for my time or fuel cost incurred for this wasted trip. They should have honored the quoted price even if they lost money, you have to back your employees quotes. This once happened to me with one of my staff and it cost $10k but I eat it, I fired the employee, but I honored it with the client.

I call this location over the phone as I was looking for a particular type of gravel. I described what I wanted and the staff was very nice this was about a week and a 1/2 ago. Today however I went to pick it up when into the office the staff was just as nice and explained what I was looking for. They are extremely fair with their pricing very helpful loaded up my trailer for me definitely will be using them more in the future as I need more of their product keep up the great work guys

From a womens point of view they need to number their rock isles. We knew which rock we wanted but the directions the young man gave after being on the scale was so vague we were not sure where to go to get what we needed. Contractors may feel differently.

Sweet and knowledgeable office girl took my order. Delivery man called before delivering and showed up on time and was super friendly!! Material was perfect!! Exactly what I wanted!! Very happy with everything!! Thank You so much!!

Great facility with many options, but poor business ethics. I rented a trailer to haul some gravel, and upon return, they accused me of locking up the brakes and flattening the tread on one tire, which never happened. If you lock up the brakes, you would have even wear on all four tires, and it would not wear down the entire tread. The amount of tread missing from that one tire would have most likely been the result of it getting dragged for an extended period of time, which would indicate a brake calibration issue or a jammed hub. If I knowingly did the damage, I would have no problem owning it and making restitution. Needless to say, they charged my credit card for the damage without even discussing it with me. it’s not even about the money, but more about the decency to pick up a phone and talk it out.

We went to location in Prescott. They also have a location in Prescott Valley. The Prescott location requires you to turn onto Sandretto Dr., not where Google Maps takes you. Once there down a dirt road, the Sales Office staff were very nice and helpful. Gave us good size samples of interest for free.

Grabbing material is quick and easy. Yard hands are respectful and professional. Everything I feel you should need in a somewhat hazardous work space.

I had two loads of the planters mix delivered to the Grand Canyon, I am very disappointed in this mix. I put it my raised beds in the greenhouse and outside and the more I water it the more it turns to sand. The PH is over 8 and it has little to no fertility. If you are trying to grow your own vegetables do not buy this mix from here. When I called them they offered no compensation or any sort of help.

Prescott Dirt is extremely professional, efficient and friendly. They always deliver great product and in a very timely manner. I just ordered rock for my parents and it was to their house in less than 24 hours. Their driveway is also ridiculously hard to manage, especially with a giant truck and the driver was able to get the rock exactly where we wanted it. Thank you Prescott Dirt for continuing to provide excellent hometown service.

I purchase 8 tons of ocean mist and 8 tons of fossil grey. The gentlemen that took care of me were professional and courteous. I was given the wrong rock when the second delivery (fossil grey) was dropped off - not Prescott Dirts fault, as it was picked up from the manufacturer). I did not realize it in the rain, but as my husband and I began to spread it I quickly noticed it was not the right rock. I contacted Precott Dirt and the owner quickly made it right, THAT DAY (On a Saturday)! He personally delivered more ocean mist and looked at the incorrect rock. He was professional and apologised, and truly went above and beyond to get us taken care of. I am not one to complain and he did not make me feel like a nuisance or like I was inconveniencing him. A year ago I also purchased 2 tons of garden soil and LOVE IT. I will continue to go to Prescott Dirt for any of my landscaping needs! Thanks guys!!!

NO WAY, NEVER AGAIN!!!! What a bunch of clowns!!!! Very rude, arrogant, and downright incompetent sales staff. They will not split up a pallet of boulders, so I could not buy any. The driveway rock I bought they charged me to have delivered. I expressed my concerns to the driver that brought it to our house and he even said the owner does not treat them very well and that none of the employees like him... Said hes looking for a better job. I wish I had gone someplace else from the get go.

I purchased over 100 tons of rock and gravel from Prescott Dirt and they were amazing. Daniel was very knowledgeable and steered me in the right direction. The drivers Les and Brandon were great. They worked with me to get the rock and gravel where I needed it. 10/10 experience and I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who asks.

We had some damage done to our yard by one of the trucks on a prior delivery. We called the company about what happened and the owner was very good and made things right. We just now got another 50 ton and the drivers were very courteous and professional about where to dump and where to drive through. A good company to work with. Also they came when they said they would be here.

I had 10 ton of brown fractured rip rap 4-8 delivered. 1/3 of the delivery was rock 1ft-3ft. I could not lift many of them. In addition 1/8 of the pile was white quartz, something I can not use in my landscape and I will have to pay someone to remove them. Not happy...A week or so later I had 10 ton 1/2 screened palo verde rock delivered. It was more like a minus mixture. I had to run it through my 1/4 compost screen to get rid of the smaller rock and fines. Rock size varied over 1+ to 1/16 rock and way too much fines! Was more like a 1 minus mix. Not happy...Truck drivers were great for both deliveries...

When going to shop at Prescott Dirt you will find low prices. However, if there is a question or issue with what is delivered to you, then beware.Its not like their product can be put back in a box and returned.It weighs tons...literally. And if you are too dumb to read the fine print that talks about unusually high spoilage, and your experience is even worse than what is described in the fine print, these folks will only send you more product at full price, and maybe waive delivery if you complain loud enough. Yes they are busy, because they are cheap and advertise as such.You do get what you pay for, and less. Very disappointing.

I just received 16 tons of what they called cactus berry and some of it was but it had lots of different colors as well. It also had lots of mud looking dust and dirt. When I told the driver, he said thats just what they get from their supplier. Will not be buying anymore landscape materials from this company.
