Excellent service and final appearance of the project. Andy was very helpful in determining textures and colors for the project and communicated with us throughout the process. When the actual project work began, Alfonso and his crew worked hard to complete the project. The crew would show up early and leave later than we were expecting. You could tell they were trying to have minimal impact and compete the project as quickly as possible. Lastly, Alfonso continued to seek our input during the process to ensure smaller design decisions were met while the project progressed. Highly recommend this company.

Expensive, did not deliver the expected deliverables (1- 2 inch of rock vs the 3-4 inches stated in quote) size of crew was half of what was quoted, and quality of overall work did not meet expectations. Messaged and asked for corrections to deficiency but was ignored. Save yourself the headache.

If your considering using this company we would highly recommend you don’t. In our opinion they are most unprofessional company we have ever dealt with. This company did our entire landscaping including putting in a built in bbq with a concrete countertop which they said we would love. The countertop was supposed to be polished concrete which we’ve been told it isn’t by several people. We also found out they had never done polished concrete before. The used pavers to build it (which appear to be used pavers because they are all chipped) the concrete countertop looks horrible and they did not have the gas line inspected. We had to call the City and have the landscaper dig up the gas line for the City to inspect. Yavapai was not happy with us and basically said it was our fault. The sod they put in half of it never took which they won’t stand behind. Anything that is wrong they tell you it’s your fault. Our experience was a nightmare with them. In our opinion the owner is a horrible business person with no customer service skills and his sales manager is no better than a used car salesman that tells you what you want to hear but doesn’t do what was promised. I would run as fast as I could away from this company. As far as the response below from the Owner and/or the Sales Manager- you are the one that suggested concrete countertops, and as far as colored concrete it’s grey and I think that is the normal color. You tried to get use to do red. As far as the grass you installed it and we maintained including fertilizing through the winter. The entire yard was nothing but weeds. The southwest quarter of the lawn has never grown. It has nothing to do with our dogs and we do not have three dogs nor do they go in one spot. You never tried to correct the bbq, or several other items. There are so many lies and inconsistencies in your response it is ridiculous such as us being banned from the club house. We’ve never been banned from there or any place. Anyone can see from your response not to do business with you. You are not worth going on about all of the issues with your company. It’s a waste of my time.

We needed an estimate concerning an erosion issue we were have in our back yard. Ted took the time to explain our options and was very courteous, thorough and knowledgeable of the repairs that needed to be done. Thank you Ted for your help.

Excellent service from beginning to end with Yavapai Landscaping. From the initial call and follow ups with a quote through to the last day Yavapai Landscapings communication was clear and thorough. Their work crew showed up on time every single day and worked, even through the heat, and they did not stop until the end of the day. They were here for three weeks total repaving, laying artificial turf, rock ground cover and raised rock beds with drought tolerant plants. They did some grading for good water drainage, hooked up a drip system that runs to all of our plants, and installed the most magnificent fountain made from a huge chunk of onyx rock. Great company with a good crew that will do everything they can to make your backyard a paradise.

Had them out to tree work and was thoroughly impressed. Levi was the crew lead and was very professional and knowledgeable. Cant wait to see these trees come back this spring. Thanks guys!

Nathan and Ted came to my house and I decided to go with one of their designs. Their draftsman got it back to me in a few days and I was thrilled with the results. Apparently they are real busy but after a couple delays due to weather the finished the job. Thanks Yavapai Landscaping!!!

I have hired them to do monthly maintenance on our second home as we live in California most of the year. I have been very happy with the service, and in particular the customer service and communication with the office. They are willing to send pics and always respond to my emails.

When reading reviews, its important to read beyond the stars, read the details. If the landscaper is 5 stars for cleaning out and you are looking at a 5-figure restoration, this landscaper may not be for you. Look for flags and run when you see them. An experienced landscaper will offer a free, line item estimate and offer choices so you can choose where to spend your money. Unless your project is unique and finely detailed, you should not pay for an architectural drawing, an experienced landscaper will offer guidance and know what will work free of charge. The landscaper should offer references and take you to see his work, so you have an idea of the type of work and level of skill they can offer. If you have tree and shrub removal needed prior to excavation, contract only for the removal so you can assess the work. Never give more than a very small percentage to be placed in their timeline and find out how long before offering payment. Be careful to take notice if words and actions do not match. The Yavapai crew was very friendly, but there were too many red flags for our large renovation project, so I can only give 1 star.

We had our front yard completely re-landscaped. Everything went perfectly and we couldnt be more pleased. The crew came as promised and completed the job on schedule.

We had Tyler and Ted out to do alot of work. They were timely, polite and did a great job. One thing that is important to me is the clean up after they are done. they passed my expectations

They listed to our likes and dislikes, asked the right questions and gave us a beautiful backyard that fits our lifestyle. Our experience with them was collaborative and professional. We are so pleased with the process and results.

An anomaly of a snow storm hit Arizona, and I was able to contact Yavapai Landscaping on a weekend and they were able to snow plow my commercial property so the tenants could continue to do business. It was a little costly but I couldnt imagine anyone else doing it on a weekend and in the evening.

They were awesome and worked with us using exceptionally personalized service. They used high quality materials and our backyard looks beautiful.

Five stars is just doesnt do this company justice. Yavapai Landscaping from top to bottom is a great company to do business with. The transformation of our entire yard was a work of art. From the pavers to the our front court yard is truly amazing. I will continue to use Yavapi Landscaping for all of out door needs.

Need better communication between office and field

PROs: WOW! Great polite, on time hard working crew more than I bargained for ... CONs: Pricey (read on), but got my moneys worth for sure, owner 10 min late for estimate appointment. Nathan a savvy business man, very laid back, friendly, and I hear from his crew that he is a great guy to work for ... so anal on time is for those who dont slow down and smell the roses, enjoying life. Dont let his boyish looks throw you off.Details: Originally scheduled for job to start mid summer, but I had to cancel due to hospitalizations and being out of town. Several months later, I had an opening on Saturday. Nathan took pity on me and granted me a day when he would have to ask if any of his crews wanted to work on their day off at time and a half! I offered to kick in more money but his office staff refused my offer. So now the job wasnt pricy. I would recommend this well run company to all. Ask for Mike and Jose. Be sure to say hi to Jan for me.

I would never use them again because their word doesnt mean anything. They will say one thing and mean something else. They didnt even know how to install underground sprinkler system the right way
