This was my first time going to an outside place to get an oil change, and I am nothing if not impressed. The people were kind and not pushy at all, and got my oil change done quick and efficiently, as well as alerted me to another issue that I hadnt known about but was glad to fix at a later time. Even with having a few issues on top of the oil change, they never pressured me into buying anything, which I felt was really nice and just showed that yes, in fact, they are honest, as their name suggests. Even better, they have coupons for certain services and it really made it a great value. I will be back in the future if I run into anymore issues or have questions!

Brought my car in on a Monday for so many things, John and Wes, with a little help from Troy, got my car back on the road by Thursday as they promised. Great company, great customer service… would definitely use them again… never had such good service and being on the road, for about 50 days at that point, they were really needed and amazing. 10/10

Went in to get an oil change in preparation for an out of state trip. They found I needed a cabin filter which I had them change. Further inspection showed I only had 10% brake life remaining. I knew the brakes were worn and decided to have them fixed as well. The staff kept me informed of the progress and were very curteous. Plan to have repairs done on another vehicle next month.

They are always very professional. I like the automatic texts/emails that keep you in the know of progress being made. My car is always ready when they say it will be. I like being told about work that I should prepare for. They let me know in advance things wearing out, so I can be prepared to take care of them on my next service visit. I had questions about charges and cost on my last visit and they very graciously addressed all my questions and discounted work where they could. I would highly recommend taking your car here.

Im so impressed with Honest1 Auto Care Prior Lake. Every detail of the customers experience has clearly been considered. They have comfortable outdoor and indoor seating to wait, tv and coffee service, a play space for kids, and the bathroom even has sanitary napkins and tampons for customers in need. They were so kind and thorough in replacing the window switch in my car, and even took a charge off when a new problem arose mid-repair. They didnt have to do that and even after I offered to split the difference they maintained their offer to not charge me since we couldnt be sure how or why the new issue arose. They loaned me a car while the repairs were being done at no charge. Angels and saints of car repair! Dont delay - you can trust this company.

This is the place to go if your in a pinch and live in the prior lake area, the 3 men who work the front are patient and kind and through many vehicle services including a insurance related claim they were nothing but exceptional! Unbeknownst to Honest 1, I knew about a tire and wheel issue when I brought my car in for a tune up. They identified the issue, evaluated, and made a recommendation for a two tire replacement and alignment. They did not try to sell me two tires that I didn’t need like two other places did. These guys are honest just like their name. This is why I bring all my vehicles to them, they work with you and not against you.

Front Brakes started making noise and we know what that means. I called a few places and it seemed the price and time was anywhere from $400 to $700 to do this work and one day to 5 days out. Ive been taking my 2016 GMC Acadia Denali to H1 Auto Care in Prior Lake for about 4 years now. I wont take my vehicle anywhere else because they are Honest, Trustworthy, Extremely Professional, Very Nice & remember me every time I call & bring my car in.I needed an oil change & a new valve for my tire & I tried to get in asap, they couldnt get me in for a few days so Troy offered to get me into the Burnsville location. Trustworthy shop, with attractive rates.

Typical auto shop. They search every inch of your vehicle for any possible repairs. I was looking for a more honest shop that would only recommend repairs that are actually necessary. I was impressed that they take pictures to show the issues but not impressed that there are no pictures of the repair. Huge mark up on parts and labor. They removed my rear wiper which was one of the unneccesary repairs they recommended and failed to put it back on causing it to fall off when I went to use it. Bummed to find out this shop is like every other shop.

Ive had alot of work done here from small oil changes to engine/transmission replace. They do great work at a reasonable price. Very thorough explanation of everything including pictures ect. Clean family friendly lobby is great . They also always have loaner cars available. Finally if things arent done to perfection they make it right asap. Highly recommend .

John and Troy are very helpful and great to work with. The technicians were on time and very professional. I had a few other issues with my vehicle that were found during my visit and they gave great detailed information on everything. Zero pressure to make any decisions but educated and gave me quotes and actual photos of what was wrong. I LOVE the new digital report that was sent to my email. I have had to take my Suburban to them more than a half dozen times in the last year for basically my whole powertrain to be replaced and repaired. They are beyond friendly and accommodating and their communication goes above and beyond. I wont take my vehicles anywhere else to be worked on unless its inevitable and I would suggest the same to anyone else.

At first they repaired the most expensive part of the leak, the power steering pump, it still makes a whining noise when I start it and had a small leak when I got it back, then I took it back they replaced the power steering hose it still making a noise and it still has a small leak problem, time is very important to me, I dont think I will be running back and forth.

Local ownership, parts quotes were OEM, old vehicle doesnt need OEM parts, they found after market and saved us some $$, service and response times were impressive. Appreciate them getting our hemorrhaging vehicle in to fix her and get her back on the road quickly and without drama.

It has always been a good experience with Honest-1 Prior Lake. The staff have been professional and prompt. The work has always been quick. They have loaner cars while work is being done. Once, after work was done on my car I noticed that something wasnt quite right. They admitted that one thing wasnt done as it should have been, they fixed the issue with no cost to me but they took the hit on the price. They gained my trust that day. Its a great place for your auto repair needs.

This repair shop really does a great job in communicating. They are skilled and dependable. You dont feel pressured, like some repair shops, but feel respected and understood.

Currently have my 2008 Saab 9-3 there and have had a few issues with your company communicating back and fourth with me to let me know exactly what’s going on with my car such as when it’ll be done. I was told when I first called that you had the parts at your Burnsville location, just to find out that was a lie because I was then told you had to go to Saab in St. Paul to have parts delivered, upon the parts being delivered something didn’t get on the truck I guess so that’s taken more time then it should. Paid in advance or should I say put money down so I’m hoping everything turns out correctly how it’s supposed to be done because I have read a few bad reviews. Also was concerned and wanted to know why the labor is costing so much? What are you charging my for labor because 330.00 is high. I’ve also cane across discounts that have 125$ off or 75$ off. Can’t they go Into affect for some sort of discount? I don’t live in the area and have been back and fourth waiting for the car to be done because I was told last week it’s be done Monday and still is not completed. I know what was all wrong with the vehicle so if any more issues come up after the fact you definitely will be hearing from me. In the meantime can you answer my questions above I had? Store has my number so can always call like I’ve asked a few times to do and you have failed to. Looking what we can do to resolve some issues and get my car back to me correctly fixed with inspection done and clear .

I just wanted to say that I highly recommend the Prior Lake Honest - 1 car care! I brought my Kia Soul in on Friday to get an oil change and during the inspection it turned out that I needed new brakes, Troy came over and explained to me what they found and it was up too me if I wanted to fixed that same day, there was no pressure to get them done that day, there was still about 10% left. So I called the next day to get new front brakes and rotors put on, they were able to put them on Saturday. Scott was very helpful and Eddie did a great job with the new brakes. The staff is very kind and helpful and the waiting area and shop are very clean and organized. Thank you!

I brought my van into the shop for a drop off appointment to investigate a part that fell off. They gave me a loaner vehicle for the day and did a full inspection of the vehicle, diagnosed the problem, and laid out several other issues addressed in their inspection. All this was done at no cost to me, which I was shocked. I did not have any actual service done, but the services recommended were reasonably priced and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Ill be coming back for future service!

My daughter recommended Honest1 to me. It’s close to home so thought I’d give them a try. Just needed an oil change. I usually go to the dealer. Now I’m wishing I would’ve known how amazing they are earlier!! I could’ve saved so much time! I worked with Troy and Scott and couldn’t ask for more kind or better service! Honest-1 of Prior Lake always provides excellent service, explains things in approachable language and gives insights into my cars inner workings. I appreciate their honesty (it’s not just their name!) and they way they take care of all issues small and large. Always a pleasure to go to them even when the car concern may not be the most fun task.Recently a bolt came out from beneath the car. An easy fix and the still did a full inspection and presented me with watch outs and potential concerns so as a car owner, I can be aware. They are a fantastic shop. I highly recommend them.

This is without a doubt some of the best service on my Ford edge Ive ever had. Coupled with a free ride and pickup, nice waiting room with coffee and treats, and reasonable service costs, Im hooked. I bought their frequent flyer oil change card, and figure the $60 VIP Coupon Club card cost (5 oil changes and $100 or more saving on work done) has triple the value I paid for it.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I called with an issue and they got me in that day and set me up with a complimentary car to use while my car was worked on. I needed my car done by 4 pm so that I could pick up my children on time and they made it happen! Their prices are competitive or better compared to other mechanics in the area.

Great customer service and nice guys at front desk... but I highly recommend cross check prices... Especially on Tires and Wheel bearings, Honest 1 was double nearly triple the price of dealers and tire shops... Honest1 was going to charge $169/tire for Cooper tires and $850+ for a wheel bearing. When I did a quick call to a dealer for a honesty check..- dealer charged $350 for wheel bearing.. Tires-Discount tire was $110/tire for same cooper tire... Honest-1 would not price match same tire.. so I took business to Discount Tires and put on a better tire the Michelin Defenders for $169. Honest 1 did my wheel bearing and they turned in my warranty claim. The mechanics do good work and customer service at front desk is good.. Double check the prices to keep them Honest.

Had an oil change performed. Went home, and after pulling out of the garage two large fresh oil spots were found on the garage floor. Called Troy and brought the vehicle back in. They found the oil pan drain plug loose. They refunded my service which I can appreciate. Questioning if I will return.

I was in a pinch and I needed new breaks. I didnt have the money at the time. But I was able to finance through them! They where very accommodating, let me use one of their cars to get to and back to work and they were able to complete the work that day! I was so very thankful for everything they did to help me out that I had to buy some cookies to show them my appreciation! I will forever go back to them. Thanks again for all you did for me☺

Everyone is always friendly. They get me in and out quickly for oil changes. The oil change punch cards are a great deal. If I choose not to use them for particular service or repair, they are not pushy about it at all. Would definitely recommend Honest-1 to others.

Left my car at the shop when they were closed over the weekend. They had a full inspection report ready by 8AM on Monday and called me to talk it over. Appreciate how fast I was assisted!!!

I took Jeep in to have a starting issue checked out. I needed a loaner car while they fixed my car. On Saturday late afternoon I accidentally locked the key in the loaner. I called Honest -1 and Rob suggested I call the local police department to see if they could open the door but also gave me his personal cell number in case the police couldnt get in. Two officers did come and attempted to unlock the door. Unfortunately they couldnt get the door open due to a security system on the loaner. I called Rob back just to let him know the police were unsuccessful. He said he would come out on Sunday to see if he could get in. After about 20 minutes he was able to get the door open.On Monday I got a call from Honest-1 that my Jeel was ready. After testing the starting and charging system they found a lose battery cable. The bill? No charge! I did fill the loaner car with gas,it was the least I could do. Thanks Honest-1!
