We bought a vehicle from them about 6 months ago and last week the engine completely stopped, Brought it to the shop its going to be $2,000 plus taxes to fix.One of the catalytic converter broke and 2 other things ( cant remember exactly what my hubby knows)I am having a hard time believing that they didnt know something was wrong with it and wasnt upfront about it, with us not owning it long and that already happening. Sadly will not purchase from there again.

I worked with Jake volts. I bought a 2015 Ford Taurus. He is an old-fashioned car salesman that values honesty and integrity over anything else. He listened and responded to my every question. Because this was only my second car purchase I had a lot of questions.During the test drive I noticed that the rear wheels were making a lot of noise. Thier technician discovered that both of the rear wheel bearings had failed. They replaced them at no cost to me.Jake had my car inspected and professionally detailed before I picked it up.BOTTOM LINE: If you are looking for a used car this is the best place in MN to look and purchase. The team that us at this dealership, are all awesome to say the least.I worked with salesman Jake, this guy made my experience great, very helpful, patient, and caring. I was having breathing issues, not knowing to myself, my o2 line became disconnected from the o2 tank. Things went down hill from there, the whole team there, dropped what they were doing, to assist me.Well I was able to drive away with my new vehicle, but when I got home (40 minutes later), one rear tire seperated, and the other tire was showing equal to happen problems. I immediately got should of this dealership, explained what happened. To make a long story short, an owner of this dealer ship told me to get 2 new tires put on the vehicle, and he would send me a check for the amount for tires, so I texted him the copy of the bill, the very next day I did receive a check for the tires, plus a great dealership baseball cap.You ever get a chance to check Velishek Auto Sales, do it, you will drive away happy !Just want to thank Velishek auto sales !God bless you all !!

Dont bother.Waited, and waited, and waited. I even brought my wallet. No one, and I mean not even a sighting, on the sales staff came to greet me and my wife. If they were busy a simple hello would suffice, I get it. But nothing at all. We looked at the vehicle offering for more than 40 minutes and no one even acknowledged out presence.As a local, this is a horrible experience. Even worse than experiencing the same at a chain dealership. At least they know to acknowledge a potential customer before ignoring them further.Again, dont bother.Update:. Covid-19 protocol or not, a greeting and an explanation of your protocol would be in order. I already bought at Snell in Mankato. Never had a better car buying experience. Night and day difference.

We purchased a 2014 Yukon XL and our experience was fantastic! Our salesman “Jeff” or otherwise known as Jake made our experience wonderful. We looked at Another vehicle at a dealership in Coon Rapids earlier that day and had a horrible experience so when I called and talked to Jake I didn’t know what to expect. But he went above and beyond answering any of my questions and sent me all of the pictures of the vehicle that I requested and more. From the minute we got there to the time we left he put us at ease and made the experience very enjoyable. We came all the way from Fargo North Dakota to buy this vehicle and we definitely will come back when we are in the market for another one. Five stars all around!

Last year I bought a my truck from Velishek Auto Sales. It was my first time buying a vehicle, and they were very helpful guiding me through the entire process. Just finalized purchase of a vehicle today. On the positive side, we were able to negotiate the price (according to sources on the web, their asking price was way too high) and they did finally work with us on a key piece that we needed to happen in order to make the deal. If they hadnt worked with us, we would have walked away. We give them only 2 stars because it felt as though they fought us every step of the way. We have never worked with a dealership that seemed to work so hard at NOT selling us a vehicle.

Would not recommend this place if your going to buy a car look elsewhere. The vehicles are over priced and not in good condition. This place is lucky I can only give a one star review

I have been taking my Acura to John and his crew for a few years and now with my daughter driving, we have a new car with all new issues and more money that a single mom of a teenage girl doesnt always have. The heater in the new car stopped working in this lovely 7degree weather and I thought of just dealing with it but decided to go to my friends at Velishek to see what they came up with. As usual, they took care of my car in a timely manner and affordable price. And the best part, I have peace of mind again that the car is safe. They have a good selection of used cars. The only problem is they are a little over priced compared to other local dealers. Most of the cars are at clean retail price or above so you just have the be aware of book values before you go. Good staff working there though very helpful.

I have purchased three vehicles here over the last ten years and all of them are still going today, all with 135,000 - 160,000 miles on them. I did have a mechanical issue with one of them but they worked it out with me and the resolution was fairly done. In my experience they have good vehicles to choose from and take care of their customers.

Bet friendly and professional. Also, great with our kids which was a huge plus as well! Would definitely recommend them to anyone and will be back when in the market for another vehicle.

We went to look at a new car and had it inspected. We got the results of the inspection which stated that there might be something wrong with a head gasket. The salesman told us that he would like to have his mechanics take a look and that he would give us a call once they did. We never heard from them again so I can only assume that they waited for someone else to buy the car who did not invest in an inspection.

John at the service desk does a great job! He knows my vehicles, and is very honest about what needs to be done, and what does not. They are very reasonably priced, and they are quick and effective. I would definitely recommend them for car service, or puchasing.

Very disappointing customer service. Had to wait for over 15 min for someone to come and help. When he did come and help us, didn’t introduce himself and seemed like he had other things to do. When trying to talk about the vehicle, argued back with us, stating that the things that were wrong were common and fixable for much cheaper than our mechanic quoted us. Unwilling to negotiate a cost for the vehicle. All around disappointing experience. Would not recommend.

I purchased a 2015 dart from this dealership 3 years ago for my husband and have had no issues with the vehicle purchased prior so when looking for a new vehicle for myself I decided to look here again as they advised there is a returning customer discount, we found an equinox with 45k miles that we were wanting to purchase thinking it was a good deal with a 2014 Kia as a trade in having had it valued at another dealership we knew it was worth $7500 as a trade in they offered us $6000 originally so we declined the trade in salesman came back with $6500 Which we were unhappy with but felt pressured. As well as there was no discount for being a return customer like we were advised 3 years prior. We decided to go see what a different dealership would offer us we went to car max and got $7500 for our trade in as well as $500 off taxes we decided to trade in for a 2019 equinox with 1/3 of the miles as the car we found elsewhere was priced in the same range! Look else where before purchasing from them as the “damage to the vehicle” and the reason for the low trade in was non existent as I advised two other dealership of there concerns that the car was repainted along with a few other concerns and they both advised this was not present. They are clearly liars who take advantage of people! They lost a customer in us for sure we won’t be trading up the car I purchased my husband from them with them. Below dealership has made a point to call out the cars value that we were trading in for which was not the point of my review it’s simply that they obviously try to low ball trade ins and are dishonest about what needs to be done to the vehicle. And to look elsewhere what he fails to mention is the back tail lights on the vehicle they are selling flicker when In park and black smoke comes from the vehicle both warning signs we realized when my husband too a second look which is probably why the vehicle is priced “below market value” they have my number and call call me anytime I’m more than happy to give them a piece of my mind on there shady business, notice everything negative review they try to slide out of and make the customers fault.

I had been shopping around for a new vehicle for a few weeks, this last spring. I thought I found a great deal on a car and brought it in for an inspection and it was horrible! I was disgruntled when my credit union recommended these guys!! I was told that they seem to have the cars with the lowest miles for the best price. I found a CRV that was is fantastic shape. I brought it in for an inspection and was told by my mechanic that it was in such good shape they would buy it for their mother. It did need new tires. Which they took care of for me within a week! I still love my CRV and my experience here!

They want to help not push you into a car you dont need. I shopped here for six months and they were always willing to help me with information and willing to give me time when i wasnt ready. When I finally found the vehicle that fit my needs i was in and out in lest then 30 mins.

My wife and I were looking to buy a vehicle that was larger than the 05 Corolla she had been driving which was totaled in an accident. After looking online at a variety of vehicles and countless dealerships we came across a 2003 Toyota Highlander with incredibly low miles, 57xxx give or take and felt we owed it to ourselves to take a look even though we were from the east metro and never heard of this dealership, we are glad we did. After test driving it we bought it and have been very happy with it. We did have a light come on in the dash which turned out to be a sensor and the service department took care of it at no cost to us, excellent. After buying vehicles from the big dealerships in the past it was nice to have a positive experience with the people here where there was a complete abscence of pressure and drama. Oh, and by the way, the price we paid for our highlander was THOUSANDS less than others we came across exactly like it with high miles! There was nothing not to like about this deal and dealership. When I buy a vehicle for myself this coming year I will definitely check them out again.

Bought a car with under 45k miles on it a year ago, tested it, got it checked out by my repair man, bought it and brought it home everything looked good - until i found out that the car randomly starts when it wants to. Wasted a huge chunk of cash on this vehicle too. These guys at Velishek are thieves and will apparently rip off anyone who shows them the least bit of attention. I dont suggest buying from them.

I bought a used car here at a fair price, but the check engine light came on the day after I took it home. Over $1000 in repairs. My car guys said they most likely turned the check engine light off for test drives.I took it to my regular car guys even though the car was under 50% warranty (so that I would only pay half of whatever repairs if I brought it back to Velishek). When I told Velishek one of the parts that needed to be replaced and asked for an estimate, they wanted to charge me TWICE as much as the repair would have cost at a normal shop. I had nearly all of my repairs done for the amount that Velishek wanted for one.Velishek engages in dubious business practices, perhaps dangerous ones, and jacks up their prices.

Truck I purchased was supposed to have been inspected and ready to roll, it broke down within 10 miles of dealership, squeeky belt. I took the truck back, they sprayed belt dressing on belt which quieted it. I attempted to drive truck back home, got home, the sound came back and the oil pressure dropped to zero twice, within 1 week truck need a new belt, pulley and tenser, $590.00 repair, tow haul mode wouldnt work, new shifter needed $212.00 repair, gauges stopped working $320.00 repair, brakes were stated to be at 70% when purchased per dealer inspection now at 10k miles after purchase brakes failed $490.00 repair, over $1,100.00 in repairs in under 1 year on an Inspected truck, what an absolute Lie, I would not buy here again or recommend to anyone.
