Richmond Rental handled my car repair claim PHENOMENALLY. Service took 3-5 weeks and I received a lovely rental in the meantime. I was referred to them by my aunt & I am blessed she sent me their way. My vehicle had been in several accidents and was one bump away from falling apart. The day I went in for service I was practically in tears from the nonsense i was facing with my car, but the staff was inviting and their customer service is so spectacular they made me feel sure my car was in the best hands. Everyone who works here has a terrific personality and they do the best job at making you feel comfortable. 10/10 would recommend.I will add photos of my car as proof of this shops amazing work- I couldnt find all photos but my right front bumper was damaged & hanging off, & I had two large horizontal dents on my hatchback--AND NOW, there is not even a scratch on my baby---They even cleaned the inside of my car for me!Richmond Motor Sales & Rental is Phenomenal, especially the owner, Dino!

This is the gods honest truth. I was in a car accident so my lawyer sent me to Richmond Rental and my car was brought to Richmond auto body. I was two weeks in to the rental. My lawyer was not doing the best job so i found a new lawyer. The next day Richmond called me and said they needed too do a check up on the rental i had, i bring the car to them and they tell me that i have to give the rental back because i changed lawyer. Now my girl was pregnant. So my car was rear ended my trunk was pushed all the way to my back window. So they took the rental an made me and my pregnant and they made me and her drive away with a car that was not safe and the owner was very disrespectful. It doesnt matter what lawyer we have because they arent paying for the rental,the insurance pays for it . i would not send my worst enemy there. I also had no brake lights and it was alot of snow on the ground and they didnt care. This is the gods honest truth. Please go two a different rental place,Richmond dont care about there customers.

I know for a fact that this place is running an insurance scam. They allow you to rent the car. Then, they track you down when you park it somewhere and they damage it without you knowing. They then urge you to make a claim with Geico Insurance under a non-owners plan. They harass you to attend a deposition or they will never rent to you again. Its like a shakedown. I have caught onto their scam because the same thing not only happened to me, but also 5 of my family members. BE CAREFUL!

Never have any cars always tell you to call back which is a waste of time because they then tell you there are no cars at all for the day. Do they only rent out 3 cars place is a joke

My last experience here was outstanding. The customer service was amazing! Unfortunately, the experience I just had now was the total opposit. There is new staff and the customer service is terrible! I was assisted by Juan who was indifferent, rude and very unprofessional. Purposely rented an unfit, unsafe dirty vehicle that smelled of vomit! I will never do business here again! I really hope this place works on hiring more courteous, friendly staff.

I really liked the Bobby o. He was funny and awesome.. all the boys in the office were great. They all had great personalities even though they were super super busy. I’m 21 weeks pregnant. They put me in a 2016 Nissan Altima and the car died on me in the middle of the road as I was driving. I brought it back and now they never have rentals available. I tried 3 days straight. They always tell you to call the next day and when you do they tell you the same thing, And customer service Is terrible.

Cant say I had a bad experience renting from them the first time . I went there and got a good Clean car for affordable price very fast also was treated decently . But other times I had tried to rent either theyre calling me back or never have a car available after they tell you to call at a certain time. they usually reserve the available cars to people they know so if you want a rental I think is better to go without calling because if they dont know you theyll say they dont have nothing available .

I was referred to Dino at Dean Auto Collision Center, last week by my Attorney and after I had given him some quick info about my car, he had sent over a tow truck within 1 MINUTE or LESS, to pick up my car & I! What a BLESSING Dino & his shop have been to my Family and I, especially after the bad car accident I had been in, had turned our lives upside down. The tow truck company was JUST as quick & professional, as Dean Auto was & within less than 15-30 mins of getting there w/my car, I was already driving off with my Rental! This is the best way to get a rental without the extra headaches, I have been with them faithfully for a year and I am satisfied with the weekly and monthly rental service Ive had. Everyone has their own experiences and opinions, but never judge a place over it. Please keep in mind that you are provided specific vehicles depending on your coverage. Beats having to put hundreds of dollars on a deposit for vehicles that overcharges and penalizes you if you go over miles as most places do. Any time ive had issues it has been addressed professionally.

My car was being serviced at Boch Nissan. I was giving a rental car. My rental car was absolutely disgusting. The steering wheel was sticky, their was a drink spilled all over the console, smelled like cigarettes, dirty foot prints on seats, drool on windows, dirt and grim on floor, and to top it off my car was given to me with 22 miles to E. I barely had enough to find a gas station. The man lied to me and said the light just came on. The light actually comes on at 80 miles to E. Pathetic.

So many negative post! Its so simple you go in paperwork 10 mins and your out in a rental! Fast and reliable I mean come on you want 5 star service and a red rug and champagne to your rental get a credit card and all the other bull s*** paper work you need for any other rental service!! I had great service, this is my 3rd time renting from them. They worked with my insurance, my rental was dropped off & picked up at the body shop, they handled all aspects of the insurance claim with no issues.

So far not happy with there service. I called multiple times and i was told there will be cars available on Wednesday to rent. Of course i call nice and early and now Im being told call back later to reserve something for another day.

The people works at that place they dont owe me anything so the information Im given right this moment its all truth its a nice place organized they very busy they have clean cars 2014 and up my sales person is name Mike nice personality Smiles all the time it was really nice experience he spent time on the phone with my insurance company get the information ready ... Dont go here the cars suck. They overcharge you for the cars that suck. They do not carry daily rental insurance so the car has to go on your personal insurance so that is convenient for business for the body shop next door.

I love all these half ass negative reviews! Granted there are probably a few employees that could be friendlier. Im not sure if you all are aware that Richmond is not a franchise its a private owned company, and quite popular so if your only getting a rental for personal use then you have to call early. Its on a first come 1st serve basis. All the cars you see on the lot That you think are available most likely are reserved for people having their car serviced in The Body Shop. All these Negative comments are just from people who cant get what they want when they want it! grow up! Ive been renting from them for 7 years now and I have no issues... Because I follow protocol and dont think the world revolves around me!P.s. to the comment that said the owner Deano is fraudulent.... hes not even the owner! Its because of people like that that you have to read more than the 1st 5 reviews because theyre worthless rants!

I recently purchased a vehicle at Boch Honda in Norwood and when the car wasn’t ready I was brought over to get a rental from Richmond Rental inside the dealership. The guys there were very pleasant and made the rental process easy, quick and had me in the car in no time. I was given a 2016 Nissan Altima which was a very nice ride which made the wait for my car easy. Also returning the car the following day was smooth and fast and Michael Esposito took care of the process was very nice to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone needing a rental vehicleBen

Morgan Ajello look up on google Dingo Coccia or WPRI 12 News Archives. Pretty interesting story about him and his experience in the car rental business. Most of the small shops rent from here. Ive heard mixed reviews and seen on one Pawtucket Body Shops Google Review there were customers who had the same issues as you. If those on here with negative customer complaints go to the local authorities then something may be done. I guess it just depends on who waits on you there are some decent people there.

Also found an ipad called to let them know i would return it so they may get it to the rightful owner he tells me well between us you just got a new ipad....you kidding me ? no lost and found i gave it back but klord knows who took it from the poor soul

Best rental place in the state and great price

These people are horrible. Dont do business with them. I have been calling for over a week to rent a car they never have one and tell me to call at other times. When I call back again nothing and call back after another time. Went by the lot and they have tons of cars on the lot. What a waste of time and energy.

Do not rent a car from this place. The cars are crappy, mine had a tail light out which caused me to get a ticket. Also needed an oil change and they let me drive it 3000 miles past the time it needed to be changed. And to top it all off they hire nothing but thugs who have no problem disrespecting their customers. They rent to so many drug dealers that if cops see a Richmond plate they will pull you over no matter what. They are a joke of a business and I plan on calling the better business bureau on them. On my last visit their thugs surrounded me and threatened to knock me down. Do yourselves a favor and rent from a real company.

Place is a joke. Owned by a lawyer who hired an bunch of ex convict drug dealers to run the business. Go run a BCI check on his employees and you will never go back there again. Another RI criminal enterprise. No credit card needed, no job needed either just good old illegal money and you get a car to go sell your drugs in.

This place is very unorginazed and unprofessional tried to reserve a car everyday for 2 weeks to be told call back tommorrow. Now on the day i need the rental they dont have any after telling me on thursday to call friday they will reserve me one, cars are all 2015 BEATERS cuz thats all everybody does to them is beat on them.

Called multiple times to find out the status on a car and got told every day to call back at a different times and or to call back the next day. Only to find out a friend of mines walked in and got a rental on the spot. Would not recommend this place.
