Great selection of furnishings and accessories. Oh my sales consultant was so helpful and patient while we made our choices. There are literally thousands of different fabrics and leathers and types of wood to choose from. It was nice to customize our sofa to my wife’s exact specifications. Eight years ago when we had our home built we furnished a lot of the rooms with Ethan Allen furniture and could not be happier. People are always complementing us on the furniture. They are expensive but for us it’s worth it given the quality and the selection. They will even mail you swatches of the different materials and leathers if there are a few you are undecided about.

We have had a wonderful experience working with Cat O’Connell in the Ethan Allen Quincy location. Cat came to my home for a visit and met with us on several occasions in the store to select new family room furniture, pick fabrics, and place orders. I turned to Cat for a wall paint color recommendation as well. Cat has been extremely patient, diligent, helpful, and resourceful. Designing a new space is exciting and daunting but my designer Mary Lawlor at Ethan Allen made the experience so simple and enjoyable. She studied the space and my style and designed a new dining room and other rooms in my home that are gorgeous. Mary Lawlor has been extremely helpful and a joy to work with! First when we redecorated our single family home then when we right Sized and moved into condominium living. She came to the house and worked with my oriental rug and found colors in it I hadnt noticed and picked out a gorgeous sofa and console that my husband and I both love. The furniture I ordered was ready more than a month before the scheduled date. It arrived and was assembled by two great and courteous individuals who were very professional at all times. They even provided several updates on their time of arrival. Before departing they checked everything and found a small problem with internal lighting and reported it. The company contacted me immediately and a repair person was sent within several days. An expensive piece of furniture but worth it!

Cat OConnell was amazing. She came to my condo was very polite and professional. She blew my expectations away. It was exactly what I wanted and needed for my space. I loved the colors and patterns that were picked out for the space. Everytime I walk in the door and see my living room I get so excited to see my new furniture and rug.

I had been searching for a living room side chair for months. I wanted specific colors to compliment the decor and I was ready to settle with a pattern and a chair that I liked, but wasn’t crazy about.I knew that Ethan Allen had great quality. I have one of their chairs in that room already that I love. I saw some nice patterns online, but again, nothing that really jumped out at me. I noticed that they had another group of fabrics, which appeared to be geared towards curtains, maybe interior designers who were making things on their own. But, I looked through them. There were some beautiful patterns. I picked out a few that I thought would work. But, then I came across one that wowed me and the search was over. I just hoped it was possible to use it on a chair. I contacted customer service and reached Meghan Roberts in Quincy. She let me know that it absolutely could be used to upholster a chair and she, too thought it would be beautiful. She made the whole process, from deciding on the details to purchasing, a breeze. She explained it all every step of the way and she was a pleasure to work with. Meghan seems to really enjoy what she does. She’s enthusiastic and helpful, and in my experience, she appeared to genuinely be invested in making this an excellent transaction for me. It was. I just received the chair a couple of days ago. I LOVE It. I sent a photo to Meghan and she loved it, too. She was very excited for me. She’s a STAR and Ethan Allen comes through with an outstanding product, once again.

Ive worked with Mary Lawlor from the Quincy store for several years. She has designed my family room and a second/bonus room in my home, as well as designed the reception area of my law firm and now my entire beach house in North Carolina. These projects involved not only furniture, but also carpets, area rugs, paint colors, custom made window treatments, and accent pieces.Mary is wonderful to work with. Shes very personable, takes the time to get to know your objectives for a room and your style (not hers) and delivers options and a final product that exceed your initial vision for a project.In our recent project in the Outer Banks, she was able to work me and my local interior design team/contractor to ensure that the furniture and window treatments would fit in the space. I had reached out to several local furniture stores in the Outer Banks and while they were happy to sell me a sofa or sectional, not one would come out to measure or provide a computer design of the room that would confirm that the items would fit in the space. Mary (1) provided a computer generated design of the living room with all the furniture pieces so that I knew my custom ordered furniture were proportional and (2) worked with her Boston-based window treatment workroom to make sure the custom window treatments would again fit but also complement the overall design of the room. I would like to give a 5 star rating to the window treatment workroom and installer, Mary Hartley. Just like Mary Lawlor, Mary Hartley worked with me and the North Carolina team to create a beautiful beach house. Both Marys go the extra mile! As an example, Ethan Allen does not sell paint, but Mary Lawlor picked out the paint colors for both my 1200 square foot office and my beach house in North Carolina. She worked closely with the local kitchen and bath designer and coordinated colors and fabrics based on tile, stone, and cabinets, and flooring chosen by the local North Carolina designer. The two different design teams worked very well together to ensure that the redesign was seamless.I highly recommend Mary Lawlor and the professionals at Ethan Allen Quincy. I wouldnt work with any other else.
