We drove two hours to go look at a minivan at Palmen. We were ready to buy a minivan that day if we found the right one. Palmen gave us a low ball appraisal compared to three other appraisal we had already had on our trade-in. They finally raised it after we had proof of higher appraisals. We came to an agreement on the trade-in. However, we were told we couldnt take the vehicle home because they did not have the title yet. We were told that is why the minivan was off to the side, it is because it wasnt ready to be sold yet. It was also not detailed yet. This is odd because it was posted all over online that it was ready to be sold. With all the red flags, we still said we would come back when the title came in. They called us about a week later and said the title came in. We drove back to get the minivan. When we got there, the minivan was maybe quickly vacuumed out. They said it was detailed but it definitely was not. There was dog hair all over it still, candy wrappers in the door, windows were dirty and the list goes on. We had them clean it out more and it wasnt even quality cleaned. I still had to go back and wipe everything down. They had a week to clean this vehicle and couldnt even try to do a decent job. I would never go back. It was over a $40,000 vehicle and this was the treatment it received.
Everyone was very friendly and courteous… I had several questions and got really good answers through a conversation with several employees… I talked with the service manager, a couple service techs, the finance manager, the parts department… I like to get to know people who are going to be working on my Jeep… everyone was knowledgeable and willing to share information… very good experience. I’ve decided they have earned my business… I’ll be back for sure.

Patti from the service department is very helpful and would give her 100 stars. Everyone else at this dealership are crooked and not worth anything. My car was fixed and then hit. The extended warranty which I purchased for 84 months was only valid for about 68 months. Didnt even get a refund on any of the unused months. The finance guy who was supposed to help figure out the issue was a no show to help. Buyer be ware of Palmen motors in Racine Wisconsin. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!
It’s nice to feel like your car is in good hands. I was just having some work done and very nervous about it. I don’t trust everybody when it comes to my car. So it was nice to walk in and being taking care of. I may return just to have little things done.
Had a 3:00 appointment and did not have to wait upon arrival. My daughter took her Jeep to be reprogrammed to add controls for the hard top and was hesitant about going by herself that they would not know what to do and she would not be able to tell them clearly. The dealer made detailed notes on the appointment so they knew exactly what was to be done and my daughter was so relieved. She was in an out in a little more than an hour.Thanks for the great customer service and communication to me via phone during the work and letting me know my daughter was in the waiting room safely.

Oil change for my lease, 107$ plus rotation.. okay that’s cool. After i leave i check under the hood cuz my cabin smelled like oil. Oil, all over the engine. And on my after market parts. I’m happy my oil was changed but I’m not happy that after paying that much they couldn’t clean up after they spilled oil on my engine. I’ll wait longer for a good product
Tim in the service department is the best. Any time I have to get my car fixed, I call him, get an appointment. He chats with me with what I need, never up-sells, never cheats me out of money. 10/10 would recommend. If anyone has any issues, don’t be afraid to talk with Tim! I also had no issues with pricing concerns. I’ve been going there for 2 years and I wouldn’t want to go any where else!

We bought a 2015 Grand Cherokee today from Palmen in Racine, and had a great experience. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Sergio, in particular, was great. He took so much time with us, and seemed to sincerely care that we ended up in the right vehicle -- even if it was not the most expensive. Also, I appreciated the fact that he talked to me as well as my husband... too often, car salespeople focus on the male buyer. We will return to Palmen for future vehicles for sure.
Patty in the service department is amazing! The service techs and everyone I interacted with were friendly and explained everything clearly. They were also very honest and upfront, not charing me for work that I could get done with my previous mechanic for less.

Went in today to get an offer on my truck, because they have a sign advertising they want to buy vehicles.After taking my info and informing them I have a loan on the vehicle presently, the salesman asked how much I owed. I told him it shouldn’t matter what I owe and that another dealership had already made me an offer without needing to know that.He looked frustrated with my response and asked for my keys to give to the person that would do the appraisal.Within seconds he came back asking what the other dealership offered me, and just like before I told him that shouldn’t matter. He responded that he’s “not playing this this game”.What game?You should be able to look at my vehicle and give me a price based on your assessment of it’s value without me giving you clues on how to stay as low as possible. I grabbed my keys and left!This place is ridiculous!

I had a long review about how I had a bad experience and now they made me feel uncomfortable. They clearly didnt want my business by the way I may have looked possibly. But if you look below they responded to me by trying to put my business out there. Im make this quick I got the same car at a different dealership for a way better rate. So whatever they told me was clearly a way for me to not buy from them. I think the best way for my review to work is to let everyone show what kind of people work at this dealership by just looking at their response. Had no problem trying to put my business out there, you thought Ill be embarrassed and delete my review but little do they know I have the car i wanted at a lower rate didnt even have to put a down payment that I originally offered.Also they imply I need to find a car better suited for my financial situation. Without even knowing my financial situation because they didnt want to do business with me. Sad there are places like this one
Went in for recall repair. Asked to add oil change and tire rotation. Added with no problem and got my vehicle back in a couple of hours.

The part i really appreciated about it was the fact that of the fine gentleman i worked with, Tim, Matt and Teddy, they understood that the 1 truck they had on the lot I liked but had one feature that I did not want to have on a truck I would buy for the future. I had said feature, Ramboxes, on the truck I traded and I think they was a great creation by Ram. I like the Ramboxes and the way they create extra storage on the outside of the truck for ease of access. However with my current and expanding family situation, I was going to need a standard bed. After I explained this to all 3 of them, they were polite and receptive of my request and worked hard to find a truck they could do a truck for truck swap that was on my wheelhouse of options. They were able to accomplish just that and I am very appreciative as the truck I purchased will hopefully be a lifelong vehicle turned into a collectors item since it is a special edition truck.

Talk to the manager about getting a different vehicle was told you’ll have to put money down to get out of your current car and then was told if it had these issues we wouldn’t of sold it clearly you didn’t care cause it’s my problem now ! Why should I put down money to get out of the faulty dodge you sold me ! I’ll never come back here again I’ll take my business to a place that actually cares about their customers and isn’t just money hungry

We purchased a used car in a comfortable environment. Had good communication with our sales rep Tom B from setting up the initial test drive and answering feature questions leading up to the final purchase agreement. I would consider their dealership again on a future purchase.
Brought my 17 300 in for a ticking noise and metal in the oil it is still under FCA powertrain warranty. They are telling me this is normal and charging me. $160. This isnt the first time tFCA dealers havent honored warranty issues. Will pick up my vehicle tonight and never buying another FCA product again.

My mother recently bought my dream car for me, Jeep Compass from this dealership and unfortunately my family was one that was affected by poor customer service. We bought the car and not even in a matter of a week we found an oil leak and a broken wiper blade. But we had to return the car to get the protection service done so we made an appointment for both services to be done. Yes, we loved the fact we got a free loaner! I can just say we took the car in first thing in the morning on a Wednesday. Thursday we were told they found the problem of the leak and its being fixed, they will call us when its ready. No call. So we called by the end of the day Thursday we were told the mechanic is just now looking at the Jeep and it seemed to be an oil plug of that nature, they need to order the part and now wont be ready until Monday. But I thought the car was already looked at? Why are we being told a different story every day? So Monday comes around I get a call early morning and was informed the wrong part came, they ordered a new part. The new part wont be in until Tuesday and they will contact us with an update. Once again, No Call!!!! So we call and its funny every time we do call were on hold for about 5 minutes, and now the service department is saying its being worked on now that they have the correct part but they cant promise it will be done today. At this point we have been very patient. So now Im getting frustrated. He did apologize and say he will call by the end of the day regardless if its ready but to give me an update. Once again, no call!!! So shocking! So we call Wednesday around 12:00 and he is still sounding unsure if the car will be ready but he says it should be they just have to finish up and do some paperwork. He said they will call by the end of the day to let us know! Once again, no call!!! So we called and now his answer is, Im really not sure if its done. Why is it such a mystery? You have had the car for 7 days! The service guy even said, well you have a loaner who cares!! I didnt purchase this vehicle for you to have it a whole week and lie to us daily and not communicate with us about whats going on with our car! Every day they would never call us as a courtesy to update us, we had to call daily and still gave us a different story every day. Ontop of that why was the car leaking on a certified car? Did you not do the inspection? So finally the car was ready Wednesday evening exactly a week later dropping it off. Also, I did have minor issues with connecting to Uconnect and as Im literally pulling into the dealership the service guy calls and says well were locking the doors, we think you should just call Uconnect for help. I ask if he can just wait a second I am literally pulling in. He said no, they doors will be locked by then. Like Are you serious?? As he said that I was in the parking lot so I just moved on and walked in. I just wanted my car back. So I walk in and there were still people in the service Bay Area. Looking right at me, oh but you cant help me?? And I couldnt even find my car after getting my keys. I didnt see it in sight and the cashier expected me to know. Im like where is it? And she pointed to the other side of the building and said I could walk through the Bay Area. I said they just told me they were locking the doors. But why did they have to park it all the way around the building?? So inconvenient. So overall, the customer service is just beyond ridiculous. I think they are not honest and only care about the sale. When I made an appointment to go purchase the Jeep it was supposed to be with Ron. When we got there, no Ron was there so Sergio helped us. He was phenomenal and so nice, he was the true reason why we felt like this was a good purchase because Palmen does have a bad reputation! But why were we told Sergio wasnt even going to get compensation from our sale? Sad!! We only bought this car from here because it was very hard to find this exact Jeep Compass with everything the car has but this dealership should be ashamed how the treat others!

Bob answered all questions, took the time to demonstrate the functional aspects of the truck, and was low-key in his approach. My wife and I were in the market for a newer/used Chrysler 300 or Dodge Charger AWD. We visited many places, and ended up liking the best, and purchasing, a 2018 AWD Charger GT from Palmen Motors (Tom Berlin). The car is super clean and tight. Traveling from Stoughton, our only negative were the two trips of 190 round trip miles each. One to check out/drive and, after a night of discussing the vehicles we checked out, driving back two days later to buy. But that wasnt the dealers fault. A worthwhile process for us..

Will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership again. From the minute we pulled on the lot it was the worst sales experience we have ever had. Purchased a certified Dodge Ram and the brakes are barely at the percentage they should be to be certified and BOTH filters are disgusting. If I had to take a guess I would say an inspection was barely done and even question if the oil change was completed. We have reached out to both the salesperson and GM and have not heard one thing back! Salesmen was absolutely terrible and disrespectful and did not even go over any options on the vehicle before just handing us the keys and saying have a good day. He didnt even go out and transfer our plates until we asked him to! Love our new truck, but will stay away from this dealership from now on!

I bought a car from Tim and he was fantastic. I would definitely recommend him. Unfortunately the customer service at Palmen is a disaster. My car has had issues and working with Patti was frustrating. She was unfriendly and difficult to work with. Unfortunately I wont be returning to Palmen.
I am giving them 1 star because I cannot give them 0. Palmen makes its money by swindling unknowing victims out of their hard-earned cash. I scheduled a brake service because Mopar was running a special. Even though I presented the coupon when scheduling the services, I received a call stating that the total for the front brakes came to around $695.00 and the rear, an additional $695.00. I reminded the service representative that the special stated that the brakes would be $199.95 for the front and $199.95 for the rear. He came back and informed me that I needed new rotors as well and that brings the total to $539.95 for the front and $539.95 for the rear. I explain how that was absolutely, outrageous and that my front rotors and brake pads were replaced less than 20,000 miles ago. Then after speaking with his manager, he stated that I don’t really need the new rotors, but it is recommended. He also stated that they could do just the 4 pads for $400.00.I told the rep. that I would be in to pick up my car and I don’t want them to work on it. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I walked over to the parts department and ordered an upgraded “Performance” brake kit from Mopar directly for $568.00, which included performance brakes and performance rotors for the front and rear. These upgraded Mopar parts were a fraction of the price that the service department tried to charge me for the inferior parts that they intended to install on my Challenger.At this point, the service department was committed to making money off of me. They performed my brake flush and ignition system clean before providing me with the estimate for the brake service and before getting the green light from me to work on my car. They are persistent and still found a way to sucker $350.00 from me. Take your vehicle elsewhere for service. $1400 dollars for a brake service is nothing if not a careless con.
This place is phenomenal. I purchased my vehicle from out of state, with minimal to no hiccups. Steve, Matt, and particularly Calvin, were all mor than helpful during this process. It was NOT a process actually. When I drove over 6hrs to pick up the vehicle, Calvin Mcilwain met me immediately to ensure my trip was good. He took me to the truck, which was in perfect order, then to Matt in finance. Matt spoke to me like we had known each other for years. He made the paperwork easy and dummy proof. Calvin made sure I could return my rental to the local office. He then proceeded to walk me through the ins and outs of the truck, including all the internal electronic systems.I mentioned Steve. He handled the majority of the financial questions easily. He even suffered through my impromptu questions about the process. In working with Steve, he made sure it was seamless. Thank you all for everything! An excellent team from start to finish. No complaints.Calvin even contacted me after the trip to make sure I made it back safely and verify the level of service. Matt fielded a few more questions without issue.
Buyer beware….how many dealerships have you been to where they tell you I hope to never see you again. This deal shop wins the award for rude and arrogant salespeople. They don’t stand behind their vehicles. Worst experience I’ve ever witnessed.

I was looking at challengers just to see what was out there and then I ran randomly across the one I initially bought. I received a text immediately after submitting a interest in it and set something up for the next day....went in test drove the car and fell in love with it as I already knew what I was going in for after waiting 2 years......we got the paperwork started and because of another customers backup, it took a little longer than anticipated but once he was done, the paperwork process went fairly quick literally. All I gotta say is I am still in love with my car and everyone else is too, I appreciated their kind service, which is what really got me there in the first place after reading the reviews and I will recommend them to anyone .Bregitta

I came in for an oil change on my 2014 Cherokee and left with a 2017 Wrangler. Ive always wanted a Wrangler; its been my dream vehicle for years! Sergio was really awesome and pressure free. We went for a test drive and 2 hours later, I had the keys to the Wrangler. They were kind enough to reimburse me the $76 dollars I paid for the oil change and tire rotation.
