They sold me a new bicycle. Within 1000 miles of use, less than 6 months, the seat has broken, the brakes were not calibrated, a spoke fell off, and if you look carefully at the frame, it has clearly been spray painted. I can only guess that this bike was not actually new or was otherwise an inferior product. Either way, I will never be going back to this store, or any other Trek, for any reason. The principal of the matter is that I expected to be purchasing a brand new, top notch bike. Thats not what I got.

Very professional. Corey checked me in after talking briefly with Matt. He made sure to give me all the options and kept in touch over the phone to keep me updated. Very fast turnaround. Other shops were telling me its a 3-week wait minimum. I had a broken spoke on rear wheel. Joel was able to source a new wheel as he let me know thats the best course of action. So even with complications and having to order parts, I was still in and out just under a week. Did I mention Id never been there before?! Great first impression. Thank you!

The shop was great. Given the pandemic, they still had a decent amount of options in the store and the staffs time and attentiveness was really appreciated. The products not available could be ordered and they had estimated arrival dates for everything. The person who helped me was incredibly patient and took a lot of time to help me make a decision. While I bought the bike, once able to ride at home, I realized the bike wouldnt work for me, although it was awesome. The return (within a week) was painless; they were very gracious and willing to help me find something else, and didnt hassle me at all even though I held off on my decision. For that alone, Id go back and would recommend them 100%.

Amazing customer service and a great biking community. I have been going here for a little over a year now and have never been disappointed in the service they provide. They completely restored my old rusted bike that sat outside for years and made it run like its brand new!!! Every time I bring my bike in for an issue or a cleaning they have have always helped me get back on the road asap! They even fixed a flat tire for free one time. Whenever I go in for service and explain my issue, Joel Beach the service manager fully understands what I am describing and inspects the bike with me so that I know what I am dealing with and what to expect for repairs. He even stayed late after the store closed one day to let me pick up my bike because I couldnt get time off work to come pick it up. I recommend coming here for anything biking related. I will be using my bike until I cant anymore, but once its time to upgrade I will definitely be buying a brand new bike at Trek Bicycle.

I stopped by the Holly Park Trek Bike Shop in September 2021.Matt McDougall assisted me in finding the right bike, and fitting it into my budget.All the staff was very helpful, and very knowledgeable about Trek bikes.Just so happens allot of bikes in my size were out of stock because of shipping supply’s.Matt did not give up on me and found a X-Caliber 8 new 2022 in another store for me. Because of his dedicated I was able to ride all summer and not have to wait on an shipping order…Great Job !!!

I had a bike emergency. Defcon 1. Certified emergency. The team at Holly Park stepped up and knocked it out of the park. I was in a full panic. They fixed my bike, calmed my nerves, and took care of me when the bill came. I will never buy anything bike related from anyone else. Matt, Corey and the rest of the team are the best in the area. Terrific service and great bikes! I just picked up a new Trek gravel bike that Matt was able to find when a shop where I live told me Id have to wait over a year. He spent close to an hour with me picking out the bike and showing me the ins and outs when I picked it up. He even taught me how to change a tire. Kelly showed me all kinds of bike trails around Raleigh and gave helpful apps too. I found everything I needed for my new bike here and Matt was super about showing me stuff for every budget. My wifes electric Trek bike chain was coming off the front sprocket and getting wedged after only just over 250 miles of use. Turns out they had a free improved sprocket for this condition, and the service dept. gave me the free one-year tune up for the bike too. Just cant beat that service! Very happy I got a Trek e-bike for my wife instead of some other brand.

I purchased a bike for the first time during COVID after the gyms closed during the peak of the pandemic. This is a very professional establishment and the manager Matt talked me through everything I needed to know based on my activity level. You are measured for the correct size bike in the store, and then options are discussed with you, along with how to properly take care of your bike, safety measures, accessories, and more. My husband recently went last week to purchase his first bike and we had the opportunity to speak with the same individual who sold me my bike almost a year ago. We also had a pleasant interaction with Corey as well who checked me in for a complimentary bike inspection, and informed us on several items to add to my bike for safety! Great team, extremely patient, love their jobs, and very knowledgeable about all things bikes, even where to go for a good ride! I will definitely recommend purchasing a bike from Trek, its money well spent, and a good investment for the wellbeing of your body.

Short version - This is a dream team at Holly Park. Great knowledge, guidance, very friendly communicative customer service - overall great experience for 2021 Marlin 7.Long version -I had been looking to get started again in Biking during pandemic to stay fit and on checking all the Trek stores were out of stock for Marlin Series. Decided to stop by Trek Holly Park in Mid May and to my Surprise it was the only Trek store which had Marlin series delivery expected by mid July, other stores had ETA of November.Kelly L was super helpful in making the purchase decision and I pushed myself from Marlin 6 to Marlin 7 due to that 1- 10 speed drivetrain big change, and booked it then. The ETA was 07/20 and I took delivery 07/11. Mike and other colleagues were helpful patiently to answer my multiple calls asking for ETA updates and also made sure to add note that I will be needing help with installing bike rack. Joe ( sorry not sure of name - starts with initial J) helped me install bike rack and explain the function. I was super pumped up to take 2021 Marlin 7 delivery and had a great quick weekend ride. I will be back with my questions regarding bike function being a beginner :PPlease make sure the extended version reaches appropriate management and whole team at HP location deserves recognition.PS: For Management - In this pandemic with high demand 400% - some focus should be developed form programs like Student discounts, Recent Grad discounts, helping under provided people with bike discounts, 2 free service instead of one provided - to give back to community. Such program can be helpful for person like me - who are stretching the budget in this unprecedented times.

Unlike the Cary location, the Holy Park location had high-energy, customer-focused employees. We were immediately greeted at the door (stood outside Cary’s door for 10+min), and welcomed with enthusiasm (Cary employees are slow and blah) The service department had the tube we needed and had it replaced in less than 10min. We are new to Trek Bikes; The service rep provided detailed information and took our son and bike outside to ensure everything worked and the seat height was correct. Although the Cary store is closer, we will make the drive to Holy Park from now on. Thank you Holy Park team!

I was looking for a specific bike rack. I called before coming in, and the sales associate quickly verified they had multiple in stock. I showed up 10 minutes before closing and they were friendly and happy to help me. They also offered to help build the rack for $30. I wasnt expecting that considering the closing time, even though I didnt need it. I had to hand sanitize before walking in, and had to wait for an associate to let me in past entrance tape.

1st and foremost service. Felt welcomed and not pressured to buy. Big thanks to Joel for helping me on this new adventure in my life. He listened to what I was wanting and trying to do. Very informative and answered any questions I had. Never tried to push me into something I didnt want. Very patient with me. This was a big step for me and my new way of living. Trek Holly Park is great! The staff is very friendly and helpful, both on the phone and in person. I was going to take a pretty long drive from PA to buy the specific bike (Domane AL 5 Disc) I wanted, so I wanted to make sure that it would be available with the extra parts I needed. Not only they helped me reserve the bike, but also made some recommendations about the different pedal options and followed up later to help me get the pedals from another retailer since they were out of stock. The pick up was also very easy, the store is very clean and well organized. Their inventory seems to be very good compared to the other stores on the East Coast. My new bike is amazing, so it was definitely worth the long drive! :)P.S. I tried my bike right after I picked it up at William B. Umstead park, and that park is beautiful :)

I had a broken Rocker Pivot washer (W529969) that my LBS didnt have in stock and said trek had backordered until late June. I cold called Matt Mcdougall and asked if he had any in stock and if so would he ship it to me? He did both!!!! He went above and beyond to put the washer in his hands and make sure I was getting what I needed to get back on the trails. Cost was fair and Im so thankful that he hooked me up. Bike shops have a habit of talking to customers as though they know everything about bikes, their inner workings and the names of every component. This presumptuous attitude can be extremely off putting and rub cyclists of any level the wrong way - not this shop! These guys are simply top notch! I came in with an issue to my rear wheel and Joel and his team were extremely helpful navigating me through the list of possible options. I was really impressed with their ability to guide me through the pros and cons of certain updates and issues to my setup - the customer service was outstanding. They were able to upgrade my wheels, rotors, hubs, tires etc and within a few hours and I had my ride back. Even though I wasn’t riding the Trek brand, these folks were super enthusiastic about working on my bike and it showed. From the first call to inquire about walk ins ( which they do ) to my pickup they were just pleasant and courteous every step of the way. I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else. Keep this up Trek team!

Crazy time right now in the bike industry with demand exceeding supply but the crew at Trek Holley Park got me set up with two perfect bikes for my kids. They kept me up to speed with the ETA updates from when we placed the order, until they arrived at the store and were built. When the bikes were ready, the guys at Trek made sure each bike was adjusted properly and set up perfectly. The only bad part of the experience was not leaving with a new bike for myself too. 11/10...would recommend.

I like that the team is dedicated to making sure things go as expected. I recently had some work done on my Domane AL Disc 2, but a service error caused issues with my drive train. The team spent a lot of time with the bike trying to resolve it and realized theyll have to try and replace the front derailleur. Outside of time, which wasnt an issue, it hasnt cost me anything, and they seem dedicated to getting my bike back to peak condition.

Staff is friendly and very helpful. They were able to find and order parts such as gloves and saddle on sale for store pick up that I could not get online.

My first impression of this store wasn’t the best considering I was purchasing a fairly high end mountain bike, the salesperson helping me was new and not fully up to speed on the products and protocol. This experience left me feeling a bit irritated so I posted a not so flattering review. Matt the store manager reached out to me in a very professional manner and assured me the experience I had was not the norm. Matt convinced me to bring the bike back to the store and even offered to make a house call if that was a better option. I took the bike back to the store and Matt was great, he resolved all of my issues and went above and beyond my expectations. Over all the store has a great staff of friendly and competent professionals and I wouldnt hesitate recommending them to anyone looking for a new bike.

Ive purchased two different trek bicycles here now and have had a third one purchased elsewhere serviced here. The team is consistently top notch in both customer service and knowledge of the bikes. They always seem to bend over backwards if I ever have issues and the level of service here is why I have purchased multiple bikes. Very good team and great products.

To put it simply, buying a Trek bicycle could have been better. We found the bike that we wanted online but no one had it in the area. It was shipped to the store from New Jersey but there were issues with the bike we got a loaner and decided that the bike that we had chosen online wasnt the one that my wife wanted which was a good thing because parts were missing when it came in from the other store. So we decided on another bike, got another loaner and this bike came in as promised by the people at the Holly Park store . They called and had everything set up in the bike just the way that it should be and my wife loves the bike. Shout out to Matt and his team for taking care of us. Will be bringing all of our bikes to this shop in the future.

I bought an FX2 around a month ago, and it’s been smooth sailing. When I called, Dave walked me through the options. He was so patient, and stayed in the phone to help me compare models. He spoke professionally and always gave reasoning for his suggestions.When Dave delivered my bike, he was very respectful and helpful with setting up my helmet and saddle. He has withstood my five million questions I have asked him over the phone and he’s always so positive and attentive!It’s clear he’s knowledgeable, and he has helped make me a confident Trek bike rider with his tips. I appreciate that Trek Holly Park has such a wonderful, welcoming staff.Shout out to Matt for being super kind and positive as well when I got my car rack installed.I look forward to visiting this store more and take classes for bike care, etc...when we can safely do that.

Excellent service by the staff. With COVID-19 is a little tricky since they dont allow you to test drive the bike first, but they helped in answering all the questions and on top of that you can return the bike within 30 days if you dont like it. This was my case, I got an X-Caliber 8, it was a nice bike but I was definitely missing the full suspension and other little things. Called in and they set me up for an appointment the next day and I already had a bike in mind. We cover the details of the new bike, exchange was hassle free, they took my components and transferred them to the new bike. Thanks to Zach and Sarah for all the help.

With the increasing demand for bikes, I was initially leaning towards a cheaper bike from a place such as Walmart or Target. But let me tell all of you readers this... it is not worth getting a bike from these stores if you want durability and good quality parts. I am speaking from prior experience. After ruling those two stores out, I looked upon bike shops, as I wanted a better mountain bike that would last a good while and would not break down as often. The best Bike brands I recommend to everyone are Giant, Cannondale, Trek, REI co-op bikes, and Specialized, although I loved Trek the most so I went with them. I initially went to the Cary Trek, as that was the closest to me, and I found myself in love with the Marlin 6. It was like a dream come true and they had the frame size that fit me best(This is another issue with Walmart and Target, they dont have different sizes for bikes). Unfortunately, I was not completely sure if I wanted it, and when I returned to the store a couple of hours later, it was already gone, in all of the sizes in the models. After another week or two of searching, I saw some luck, One Marlin 7 was in stock at the holly park location. So we went there, and were greeted by exceptional service and social distancing techniques, every associate only took care of one client at a time, giving us a lot of attention and finding the bike that we needed (all Trek locations do this by the way). The associate that helped me personally answered all of my questions with kindness, was very patient, and I absolutely loved the experience! Luckily for me, it was the last Marlin 7, and I was able to acquire it. Its been about 5 months now, and I am in love with it. It was definitely worth the cost, and I recommend Trek bikes to any person who is unsure. An amazing bike with an amazing brand behind it!By the way, all the other nearby trek stores had an ETA of getting more mountain bikes by the new year, Holly Park was the only one which had Marlins, and other models, in stock.

Matt, the manager was exceptionally friendly and accommodating when we had an issue with our order coming in and then not being found. Instead of making us come back up there for a second time to get it, he sent an employee out to deliver it to us instead. And they were here in about 20 minutes. Even though we were initially very frustrated, he quickly remedied the situation. And the part was exactly what we needed to fix our daughters birthday present in time for the party.

Like always I had an amazing customer service from Trek Raleigh Holly Park. I got 2 flat tires when riding today in my brand new Émonda 6 SL Pro and I only realized it was a manufacturing defect in the front wheel after getting into the store. Matt borrowed me a better wheel until Trek replaces my old defected one so I don’t stop riding. Also got a spare tube as courtesy. Thanks man! You guys rock!!

I’ve gone into this store about four times in the last 6 months since I’ve bought my bike. I barely review places, but feel the need to for this place. Every time I bring my bike in, there is usually someone smiling opening the door to greet me. They scoop up my bike, and never make me feel ashamed to ask a million questions. I told my boyfriend today, it seems like the people working there actually enjoy what they are doing. They always provide excellent customer service. Thank you, everyone at Trek!!

Everything was great! Natalie was incredible and so helpful - that woman is a rock star. She showed me all the bikes, walked me through the types, helped me understand the accessories for them and understood my budget. I hadnt owned a bike in so long and she was extremely helpful. The rest of the staff was super friendly too. Id highly recommend them for anyone looking for that smaller, family type shop instead of the big box stores.On top of that, the bike is so awesome! I love it and its exactly what I was looking for. Ill be a customer for life.

Extremely positive experience. We researched various bicycles and were most interested in TREK. The visit to the Holly Park shop made that decision a slam dunk!! The staff were courteous, informed and attentive to how my wife and I would be using the bikes. We are VERY happy with the purchase of 2 VERVE 3 bikes. Special kudos to Dave and Matt!

Omg! Idk how to start this... I’ve been searching for Marlin bikes in town. I called all Trek shops in NC and finally the Trek Holly Park have Marlin 6!The staff has one of the best customer service ever! Dave, helped me a lot over the phone. I got nervous, so excited and just a novice rider here. To make this story short, he was able to do all the transactions over the phone! Able to have the bike set up and ready for me to pick up this weekend.I can’t wait to pick it up! Who knows? I may get a road bike in the future from them! 😅🚲

Very nice and helpful staff. I’m not really a cyclist but was treated with respect, honesty, and enthusiasm for my latest bicycling efforts. They did some long overdue maintenance on my bike, added a new chain, and new tires and now it’s like a brand new bike. AND they finished and got it back to me early so I could get back on the bike and train for a ride I’m doing in June! Awesome staff!
