Midas Fabrics & Blinds made draperies for our TV Room on the 2nd floor. Absolutely stunning and it makes our room so classy. George really helped me to make the right decisions – thank God I listened to him. He knows exactly what he is doing. George guided me in purchasing a traverse rod, for the pinch pleated draperies. This makes life easier, and I don’t have to touch the draperies (keeps them from getting dirty). I also wanted a different shade for the staircase window, which he led me to the roman shade. Plus, George suggested making pillows w/cording using both theme fabric and solid fabric with the leftover fabric. Midas Fabrics met over and beyond my expectations. Great job! Regina helped me to redo two Mid Century Modern chairs inherited from my parents. We spent some time choosing fabric that complemented the style of the chairs and our den, where they would be placed. She listened to my ideas and made suggestions that incorporated what I wanted. The finished product was absolutely beautiful and done with great attention to finishing touches. Superb job. My reupholstered sofa looks fantastic. I was called personally by Jay, the reupholsterer, to ask a question of me to insure that he would do the job right. The finished product exceeded my expectations & is exemplary of the attention to detail. The sofa is perfect as are the two coordinating throw peoples. I love the fabrics & the price. Alan kept in close contact from the time I visited the store to inquire about this project through the time of pickup & after. I could not be more pleased. I have referred family here for similar work & I will refer friends in the area for reupholstering work.

My family had a recliner that belonged to my grandparents before they passed away a couple of years ago. It was old and worn, and let’s just say, it was well loved. After sitting in storage for a couple of years, my parents offered to have it recovered for me to put in my first home. After getting quotes from several vendors and doing research, we decided that Midas was the best choice for the project. I am so so happy with how this recliner has turned out. The quality of the reupholstery is amazing and it looks exactly how I’d hoped it would. The team was great to work with and were super helpful during the process!

We used a different local furniture place to reupholster four kitchen chairs and the service there was terrible. The service at Midas, on the other hand, was excellent. Midas was fast, responsive to questions, and the final work was terrific.

Midas Fabrics reupholstered a pair of club chairs and four dining room chairs. They are extremely helpful in picking out fabrics that work well together and highlight a room. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and highly recommend their professional service.

I wanted to reupholster my grandmothers sweetheart boudoir chair. Midas helped me select a great fabric for me new decor. When I brought the chair in that had a skirt from a previous reupholstering, the salesperson at Midas and I cut away the old fabric and found the legs in good shape and that there was cording and buttons. We decided to restore the original look with my new fabric. They did a great job in guiding me and the craftsmanship on the final product is stunning.

Great selection of fabrics for any budget and wonderful staff. I visited Midas for fabric for drapes for dining room windows. I worked with Julie who was very patient as we tried to find a fabric that fit my budget. I ultimately found fabric elsewhere, but would definitely shop Midas for future projects. They have traditional fabrics - florals and chinoiserie - and contemporary stuff too. They also have a wide selection of fabrics for upholstery.

This is a lovely little hidden gem. Even though it is right off of Glennwood, it is difficult to notice. The building is plain and entrance is in the back. I found it in my search for fabric to reupholster some chairs. Turns out is was right next to my husbands workplace! we went one day and there were maybe two other people there looking on a Saturday afternoon. We looked around a bit, walking through the color-coded aisles, before an employee helped us. She was attentive, recommending fabrics and treatments. They even have a bargain room, where you can buy discontinued fabrics at a discount! If you are looking for unique window treatments/curtains this is the place. They will actually make them for you, in case you are not a very good seamstress!

Awesome home decor fabric selection and really nice work on a custom cushion. Very slow work (2 months for one cushion), but I dont know how that compares to other upholstery shops.
