This is an absolutely delightful quilt store! I went in and fell in love with a charm pack. A staff member helped me find a free pattern on-line and pick out the remaining fabrics. Definitely worth a visit!!

Excellent staff. Friendly and very helpful. Superb selection of fabrics, notions(so many to choose from), patterns and threads. Each week is a special sale - could be on fat quarters ( large variety),maybe on backing fabric for quilts, or panels-- just to name a few.Many classes to sign up to take.. Right now I am taking a beginners quilting class on Zoom and the teacher is Diana Mann. She is Fabulous! If you are having a problem with an assignment just email her and she responds quickly.. Impressive!!Go in to the store for yourself.. You will not be disappointed..

Such a great place to shop for all your quilting/embroidery supplies. Laurie does such a great job in picking out fabric for the store - I have such a hard time choosing. Everyone from Frank and Laurie on down are friendly and very helpful. Need something that is not in stock? Chances are they can order it for you. If you are in Raleigh this is a dont miss shop!

Stopped in today from Virginia. Wow so much to see! The staff was so friendly and helpful. I got to meet and speak with Laurie. She is so sweet!I have really been loving her designs. I pre ordered a Halloween and a Christmas bench pillow. I can hardly wait!! They are so adorable!!I wish I was closer to the shop. But will certainly be back very soon!!I also got to meet Costa too. I took a zoom class and he taught it for Janome. He is a great teacher. So much fun!!!!Update:I came back to town and just had to go…. 😀I was wanting a lighter sewing machine to travel with. Kate showed me a couple they had. I went home without it. Thought about it and decided what I wanted. So I went back. Kate was there and another lady ( the fat quarter lady) I don’t remember her name.They were both so very nice and helpful!!I got my sweet new Janome 3160. And to my surprise they Anniversary model was pink!! My favorite color. It was meant to be!!! I really love this shop! It’s a great fabulous place to go!!

I have never been to this store. However, I have placed numerous orders on line and by phone. I have found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable and willing to go out of their way to help with your order. I am hoping at some point I will be able to visit so I can put a face to the friendly voices that have helped me so much!

The owners (Frank & Laurie) & the staff are very friendly & helpful EVERY time I go there. They have a fantastic customer service & a wide variety of fabric & classes (in person & Zoom) plus a great online presence. Its my go to fabric store in the Triangle!

I have purchased 2 Janome machines. A MC 550e embroidery machine and a skyline s7 Laurie and Frank always are very helpful and Costa is a great Teacher

Outstanding owners and amazing fabric

I have shopped here over probably 3 years or so and LOVE this shop! I make a drive of close to 2 hours and find the staff friendly, the selection is fresh and I come mostly for the classes! I always learn something valuable here and use it, it is not a waste of my time. Thanks for being here!!

Hands down the best customer service I have ever received anywhere! All of the employees were incredibly friendly, but Claire, the woman who sold me the cover stitch machine I purchased, went above and beyond to help me find the right machine for my needs and make sure that I knew how to use it properly. She was extremely knowledgeable and went through every type of stitch on the fabrics I work with to make sure I got the tension just right. This store is 1 hr 20 min away from where I live, but it was totally worth the drive!

Lovely shop! Great selection of fabrics, notions, tools & patterns. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They even suggested other shops in the area to visit on my shop hop across NC.

Decent enough place. A bit hard to find back in an office park. Not quite the variety or pricing we were looking for and there are other well-stocked quilt shops closer to home. Based on that, Id say theyre are worth checking out if you are in the area, but not necessarily a special trip just for that.

I’ve had the pleasure to take 3 Kimberbell classes recently, Costa being the instructor. I have to say, it was the most informative & enjoyable time I’ve ever experienced in an embroidery class. I learned so many new embroidery techniques (even though I’m not new to embroidery) at each class. The atmosphere was relaxing and stress free, and I walked away each time with a satisfied feeling knowing I’ve increased my knowledge of machine embroidery, as well as gotten my money’s worth. Bravo “Wish Upon A Quilt”.

My mother, my daughters grandmother recently visited this shop looking for quilting supplies to make a newborn blanket. Upon her arrival a minimum of atleast 6 women were working, all which looked up as she entered the store but not a single one greeted her or acknowledged her mere existence as she entered the establishment. She began to shop but her frustration mounted as not a single employee offered or seemed willing to assist her in any way. As a small business owner myself poor customer service such as this is disheartening and often leads to sharing unsatisfactory experience with friends and future customers. It takes very little to show attentiveness to your patrons and can make ones shopping experience very alienating if you do not do so. I highly recommend taking a look at your customer service awareness.

Being new to the area, I was some what panicked to try to find someone to repair my sewing machine. I took it in on my lunch on Tuesday and was told about a week (super reasonable compared to where I had taken it before). Just received a call that it is ready! Thank you so much!

Love this place. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful fabric and great Janome sewing machines for sale. I love my Janome. Lots of precut fabrics too. If you love quilting, you must come to Wish Upon Quilts.

I always have a great time shopping at Wish Upon A Quilt. The staff is extremely helpful when I need it and when I just want to browse, they let me do my thing. I love the quilt samples that are ever changing - I always leave inspired! They have a great selection of solids and recently added all of the Kona Solids so I can always find the right color. They have the largest selection of Kaffe Fassett fabrics around and a huge selection of Batiks - best of all, they will cut fat quarters from any bolt in the store. This is a hidden gem!

I want to support local small business but I have been several times and the staff is not welcoming or friendly. I feel like unless you are one of their friends they arent willing to help you or to engage.

With Thimble Pleasures closing, Im forced to explore other local options. Disappointing selection and service. Not a single person greeted me or asked if I had a question. There were at least 4 employees milling around not assisting customers. No return trip or recommendations; your loss.
