The food was good, a little more seasoning on the lamb Kabob and it wouldve been 😀 great! Establishment is incredibly clean and the staff is very polite. The chicken shwarma was very tasty, but I felt the white/yellow rice could have been more seasoned. ✔ Falafel was very good, nice flavor, and great crunch on the outside. This is a restaurant I would return to, with no hesitation.

The worker said Lahm Ajeen is meat but its vegetables. We ordered the lamp but they gave us the beef.

I don’t know why I have lived in the area for so long to only just now be taking advantage of Al Baraka. The market alone has tons of offerings - and the meat section and premarinated meats should not be missed! However, the restaurant is a gem in the Raleigh area. The chicken shawarma sandwich is incredible - recommend always getting some extra garlic sauce. They typically charge you a dollar for it, which is a bit excessive but ultimately worth it as there isn’t always enough sauce or pickles inside of the sandwich itself. I have enjoyed everything I have tried here, but that shawarma keeps me coming back.

Visited their grocery store last week and try their range of halal sausages. beef sausages were rich in taste and tastes fresh. gonna visited again soon!

I am not exaggerating when I say the beef shawarma here is one of the best foods I have had in my life! Chicken is great too. Highly recommend

The market is great has a good selection of merchandise. The deli/meat looked pretty old.The grill serves tasty food, however the offer of “meal” is confusing for the shawarma, and not exactly what you would expect from a meal. A fountain drink machine is needed, I find it strange they don’t have one. Most customers and some employees had NO masks on.

We were looking for places to cater from in the area and decided to call them and asked them if they do catering. While they didnt have a catering menu they did go through a couple different trays they do and man was it worth it. We made an order for a large catering tray of shawarma and skewers and it was out of this world delicious

I love coming to Albaraka for my meat products and their reasonably priced spices and goods. I love the quality of their meats compared to any other markets in the Triangle. Everyone who works there is always helpful and kind. Also, their restaurant is really good as well.

The grocery section of the store is clean and well organized compared to equivalent stores, but the prices are expensive and not competitive at all. The food is okay but not even remotely authentic. The spices they use are mild. The falafel are pretty salty, and the meat is not always tender. I also didnt care very much about their customer service.

Best Shisha prices by far. The Costco of Shisha and hookah related products. Worth the far drive. Great service too, cant wait to get lunch there one if these days.

Let me begin to tell you that their food is DELICIOUS!! I have been eating here since 2017.They also have a really good customer service. They got my order wrong once and they did me justice when I explained to them about what had happened the last time I ordered food. They fixed it for me.Just one thing I would like to say to the management: please bring back beef tenderloin burger.

We moved from west coast and went first time to Albaraka Market and ordered 1 platter and 1 chicken shawarma to go. Shawarma was good but Platter was really bad and some of the ingredients was giving bad smell. It was 30 min drive distance so we trashed platter. I called them and recorded my displeasure. I will not recommend this place. I will give 1* (Star)

This man give us 3 free lunch meal, while trimming down the tree limb out of the power line and he ask us to cut the bushes back side of his restaurant.

I got the Create Your Own Platter with a base of roasted veggies, hummus, baba ghanouj, & added on a kafta kobab. It was absolutely delicious, I ate it all in one sitting!

Good food BUT TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The girl taking the orders is very RUDE to customers in the way she answers, looks like she is unhappy with her position and if she is part of the ownership she needs to remember that she needs the customer to also pay her own bills.I pre ordered my food over the phone and was given a frame time to pick it up but they take triple of the time she said because they forgot to cook it. Had to wait extra 45min for it and she didnt even say SORRY and of course didnt offer anything to compensate the mistake.Owner needs to remember that CUSTOMERS are not looking only for good food BUT also good CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I come here after work all the time and order my food online. I work late, and its hard to find a good food place open this late. their online system is super easy to order from and staff is friendly and nice! You have to try their whole chicken. Its a huge amount of food for the price. Their falafel, hummus and chicken shawarma are all great. I love shopping in the market here too.

Cashier is unhappy to see customers. Look at the microwaved soup. Lamb smelled so bad couldnt eat.

Order my food, the cooks dis not start cooking it till almost 6 min later, there were no one monitoring the pos. When i asked where is my food they start scrambling to out it on the grill. Whwn you have 40 for lunch you cant wait 25 min for your togo order to be ready. Very disappointed and disorganized.On a good note, food was great.

I thought they were delicious. The humus is so good along with the pita. The bread wasnt fresh but that isnt a deal breaker. I will probably try the Gyro next time and see if its good like some other places on the area.

Did dinner takeout tonite from here. Ordered the mixed grill platter and koftah kebab sandwich. Every 1 liked their meal. Get rid of the chips that came with the sandwich and probably just put the platter items in the box on top of one another instead of each item being wrapped up seperatly or something. Would come back again for another meal. Good location and plenty of parking.

I was driving on Hillsborough St and decided to stop in for a bite. I’m glad I did! The chicken gyro was exquisite and savory. I’ve had gyros before, but this was the best one by far! Plus the staff is very friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

Great food!!! I got the beef shawarma wrap, and it was very flavorful. I loved the sauce as well, I think that really complimented the meat and it kinda made the whole thing work. I also love when wraps have those grill marks on them. However, I kinda wish the side was a little better. It’s fries (which the fries are totally fine) and some wavy chips (which I feel doesn’t really fit the meal, and didn’t taste good eating at the same time as the wrap). I wish I could at least choose to not get chips. My friend got the chicken shawarma wrap and was also very satisfied with that.

Two days back at night around 9pm I stopped at this shop along with my family to try their Shawarma.I was impressed by the cleanliness of the shop.We ordered Shawarma and chicken Kabab. What an excellent taste, one of the best shawarma we had. Love it and must try.

Found a dead bug in the seasoning I Purchased at Al Baraka Market. I returned it with the other seasonings I purchased that the owner says he personally grinds fresh in the back. He even had the nerve to be upset that I was returning them. I got my credit card statement and I was never refunded the amount that I returned. 😡

Their meat is always fresh and the facility is very clean. They always have good brands in stock and the set up is easy to find what you are looking for. The staff is AMAZING! They are knowledgeable, kind and always help me get my stuff into the car. My favorite Arabic grocery store. I would rather drive 20 minutes to support them than go to the one beside my house. The meats are delicious. My flat bread was a bit dry, but I put a little water on it and put it into the microwave for 15 seconds it was good. I will try the food in the restaurant next week rather than take out. If you havent trying the Al Baraka yet give its try I really enjoyed it.

I was near NCSU and wanted something nice to eat. This place showed up in 3 miles radius so wanted to try it. I am glad I made thar decision. The food was amazing! Theres no doubt on that. But more interestingly, the lady cooked everything by herself. We were 5 people, still she prepared all the food and within an acceptable time frame which was fresh and delicious! It was a great experience for us. Will surely visit again!

Super friendly staff. I showed them some recipes I wanted to try and they helped me find the spices and other ingredients. They have an amazing selection of spices at prices youll never see in a traditional grocery store. The process on dates and figs are incredible. I loved the friendly nature and personal attention I got.

I always come here to the grocery side when I go to my hand surgeon in Raleigh because its nearly 2 hours from my house. But honestly, I wish they were closer! The BEST service and the guys in there are the best! I especially like the one that always runs the register. Although hes quiet and seems a bit shy, hes always super, super thoughtful towards me and my children. He gave my daughter baklava that she wanted the first time and Turkish delights last time. Im super happy with this place. Ill go back every time Im in Raleigh for sure!!

I own a local fine dining restaurant and i went to this place not knowing what to expect. I was looking for ingredients to make a special for dinner tonight and found some of the most unique ingredients, they have just about everything. The best part was they had some of the best cuts of veal i have ever seen locally. priced a little high but quality was more than worth it. Definitely recommend

This food is so authentically good. The lamb and beef is seasoned with perfection. The salad is fresh. The lady at the register remembers us every time we come and is so welcoming. I always try something different and have not yet been disappointed.

If your looking for authentic medetaranian food, you have to come here. People are super nice and will walk you through the menu and explain everything. When the food comes out its absolutely magnificent. After traveling overseas and knowing what authentic food is supposed to taste like, this place definitely meets the criteria of authentic taste.

I liked it. The bread was excellent. I wish the shawarma though had more chicken in it. The selection of baklava was awesome.

The only reason I have not given this place five stars is because I dont know what Iraqi food is supposed to taste like. That, and the service is more what you expect from a really good fast food place. Except they drop the food at your table. Thats different than fast food. The food itself, is freaking delicious. Its the best tabbouleh Ive ever had in my life, and the hummus is right up there. And their pastries are sinful.
