Brought in my 2021 Mazda key fab. I had no idea how to open it and change the battery. Turned out I was smart to bring it there. It took the man ( dont know his name) about 10 mins to get into it, change the battery, and put it back together. I apologized for all the extra work. He smiled and didnt complain at all. Ive been a long time customer. Tonight however was exceptional service!

Went to shop yesterday. Left some after walking in. Did not feel safe seeing the staff member not wearing a mask. The young check out lady agreed he should be wearing one. But we do like the store and try our best to support it.

I go here when I need an item quickly. Their product selection is okay though less varied than a big box store. Their prices tend to be higher too! The best thing there for me is their selection of fasteners. You can get a smaller quantity if thats all you need and its easier to compare them to a sample I might have with me. Ive taken a few power tools there for repair and been satisfied with the results, though the wait time can be a little long.

Fun store to look around and they have all the needs and wants you cant find at Walmart. Lowes or Home Depot. Only there did I find the lawn tool I needed. Their prices are also decent. I went early so it wasnt busy. Nor was there much foot traffic and the parking was easy breezy.

Fantastic to go to an Ace, get help if you need it, get good deals, and enjoy a shopping trip. This location always has an abundance of items. I can always find what I am looking for. I actually like the feel of the old, crowded hardware store versus a huge big box store. You can always find a knowledgeable employee ready to help you find what you need or answer questions.

Somehow they always have something that I didnt even think about that works perfectly for my projects. Staff is always helpful as well.

Always have great service! Perfect at providing assorted everyday hardware project needs. It’s not at comprehensive as the big box stores, but there’s plenty for your common needs. They still have free popcorn by the checkout counter!

Wonderful experience here! Scott and his team were phenomenal and helped us disassemble and load a grill into our car! They even put the pieces in a bag and told us what size ratchet we would need and how exactly to reassemble it!Phenomenal customer service here! We will absolutely be back soon!

Its normally a great store and the employees are great, but I made a special trip out there because I had checked online for an item and it said that they carried it in the store. However, it was not there and the employee that helped me said their computers arent really up to date so it didnt surprise him. It costed me additional time, that I didnt have, to try to choose a separate item. He didnt ask me what the item was that I wanted nor did he try to assist me in finding another one. He just walked off. 🥴🙁

I only go here when the item(s) I need are straight forward enough that brand and price differences are negligible as its close to where I live.Apart from that I avoid it. Was there recently and saw a customer without a mask being helped by a store employee for 5+ minutes. While it speaks highly of their customer service, Im that much less likely to shop here.The brands bother me. For things like weed killer you have all of the normal brands. When you get into specific products, the story changes. I recently re-caulked my bathroom. All of the materials I needed were there, but the majority of the caulks were Ace products. For two of the small hand tools, the Ace brand was the only option. I honestly dont know whether Ace products are better, worse, or comparable to other manufacturers, but it goes with the b-tier feeling I get from the store.I was okay with it being a tradeoff store between the convenience of it being close versus it being a store I preferred. The COVID customer has likely tipped the scale to a no for the foreseeable future.

Always appreciate this hardware store and the customer service. You cant get the individual attention experience from large chain stores.

Ive been going to the ace hardware for a while now and the stagg is always super helpful. They are kind and take the time to help I get exactly what you need. This is also my grandmothers go to for household items since its right down the street. Parking is plenty and the store is clean. They also ha e just about everything you could ever need for anything lol.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, but online orders, in my experience, have been poorly managed. Perhaps they are subject to a corporate-level issue, but it doesnt make the online buying experience here any better.

My daughter and I had cooked up a project and needed help with getting the right size bolts, the right paint & brushes, and sandpaper. Two different staff helped us and both were great, incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we had exactly what we needed to successfully complete our project. One even came out to the car and and measured our item we are refurbishing to make sure the bolts would be just right. Truly helpful hardware folks!

They didnt have my item but the assistant manager looked everything up, found where it should be in stock, and waited on hold for multiple minutes to ensure the other shop laid eyes on it before telling me it was there. Great customer service!

Will never try to shop here again. Ordered a Blackstone grill and scheduled to pick it up on 12/18. Then on 12/17 I received an email that said the order was canceled by Ace Hardware. No explanation other than, “we’re sorry”. This was a Christmas gift that was supposed to be exciting and that was obviously a bad experience. Sales associates are obviously not trained and aren’t aware of sales and promotions.

I have always like shopping at this store. My first time was 1984. The last time I was there was last night. Kevin was very helpful, and relaxed. He made it feel like a hardware store.

Avoid mower blade sharpening. The blades had multiple cutting edge angles and jagged tips after he was done with it. They were also way out of balance. I even asked several times confirming that they check balance and he claimed it was balanced. After I got home I looked for my balancer to confirm and it was not balanced. It took me a while to use my hand rotary tool and fix the bad sharpening. It is a mulching blade with a curve but even the straight part of the blade was poorly done. So I would not trust them with a straight blade either. I was told they had a nice blade sharpening tool at one time but the mechanic that worked there took it with him when he left. So unless they get a better tool or better training you need to find someone else or DIY.

Went for blue rhino replacement. Very happy, quick service.

Just purchased an E GO battery powered mower there. Price comparable to big-box stores and online from manufacturer. Unless you are young buy the self-propelled model.

Went to pick up a few items. They were fantastic. Gentleman asked if I needed assistance and took me to both areas I needed. He even checked in the back to see if the had additional stock on a lightbulb I needed - they did! They are always friendly and helpful. Love going there!

I am rarely disappointed when I go in here to find something. Even if they dont have it, they can order it and get it in within a few days. The staff is great and there is almost always someone there to dispense some experienced knowledgeable advice on your project or problem. I am so glad this store is close by.

I had such experience there. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They cut custom keys that I was almost certain I was going to have to visit a locksmith for. So much better than going to a big box store.

I needed to have a cracked glass storm window repaired. I had called a glass company for a quote and completion time. Both said it would take a week, considering the required glass would need to be ordered.Westlake Ace Hardware charged me $24.00, the glass company quoted $70. Ace finished the job in 5 days with a savings of $46.00. Everyone in the store was very friendly and helpful.

This is a hardware story like in the old days, but with offerings of today. Service is amazing - I came in to rekey and reload 4 lock cylinders. David patiently (and you need to be really patient for this finicky task) completed the challenge in no time. I cannot imagine where else you can still get a service level of this kind.

I went in at 7:55pm, a few minutes before closing. I was greeted by friendly staff outside the store, showed the lightbulb I needed, told which aisle to go to, and had an employee meet me there. We verified the correct bulb, had a nice conversation at checkout, and had nothing but a great experience.

I often go here to get materials for work. Knowledgable and friendly staff who make you the center of attention from the time you get there to when you leave. Every time I go there with items for equipment repair they help me find the correct bolts, nuts and washers, turning a ten minute hunt/ordeal into a couple minute zip through.

Consistently awesome customer service! I am within walking distance and use Ace when I can. When I was single, it was great because I would get the support I would need--could ask questions, get recommendations, etc. This is where my father purchased my lawn mower and no hassle if I need help. I think some things are priced a little higher, and there isnt as big of a selection, but the assistance I receive far outweighs any price difference. I always try and come here first if I need anything.

Scott, the Manager, helped me with a plumbing issue. He explained how to make the repair and sold me the right item for the job. I was so proud of myself for actually completing this repair, but could not have done it without Scotts precise instructions for replacing a faucet gasket.

Got my trimmer from there only worked for a week. Scott the manager refused to exchange it. He said they can only fix it. It was in the shop for 5 weeks. Unfortunately if I bought from Lowes it would have been taken care of faster.

I saw a ad on the Westlake Ace hardware website. I called the store and was told it was in stock and for the price online. When I got to the store it was more than the price online. I was then informed I needed a Ace card to get the price. No where online did it say this. No one said this when I called. This is just a bait and switch to get customers.

Theyre one of the first Ace Hardware stores Ive visited that offer a military discount (like Lowes and Home Depot). The employees could not have been more helpful and you can find them EVERYWHERE in the store (unlike Lowes and Home Depot).

Even better than Lowes, every time. There are multiple knowlegable employees all around the store willing to help. You can get what you need, and get in and out quickly. Its a little more expensive than the big box stores, but its worth it, and I usually have a coupon anyway. I highly recommend this Ace Hardware.

Avoid taking and repairs here. I took my Stihl chainsaw and next thing I found out is the store manager took a picture of it and posted on his Facebook page. Other managers and him made fun of the chainsaw. You need to think before shopping at this store.

I really want to support local businesses but I continually have challenges at this Ace store. Recently, I had my wife pick up an online order and they gave her base molding instead of corner molding. Once I started the painting process, I found out the paint was the incorrect color and I took it back in 5mins before the closed and they told me I had to come back the next day. 4 trips back here for molding and a can of paint is absurd.
