I may be one of the last to leave a review since the shop is closing, but my experience was excellent. This was the best way to get my Yamaha PSR back to full functionality, and Im pleased with the timing and price. Bravo!

My lead guitar player has taken a amp up there. You have said it was a power cord that has been on order for six weeks now. How in the world can you do this to a Musician. My goodness can you not take care of some people in a decent time. Nowadays you can get one or two day shipping you cannot keep using these excuses every two or three weeks we haven’t got it yet. I am giving you this review so that it may help you to get on the ball. Please fix the bloody amp. Have had it longer than he has had to use it two months. It’s brand new. And if you’re going to do stuff like this why don’t you get him a little amp to use. Be considerate and understanding. He is a good man.

I have taken several components and keyboards to Chris over the years and have always had very good success. It is true that older keyboards are not supported by many of the major companies and asking for a magic trick is a bit unfair. I travel about 90 miles to deal with this guy and will do so again today for a guitar amp. Hes just the best around and Id encourage anyone to use this place.

Ive had this fellow do a maintenance check-up on a very nice digital piano at my church, and he repaired my Yamaha digital piano. I have every confidence in his competence and integrity. Wouldnt think of going anywhere else for digital piano service.

ProAudio has never let me down. I live in Wilmington and they are my go-to guys for anything going on with my Korg keyboard. These highly competent professionals are patient and very knowledgeable. I definitely trust them with my instrument.

When I blew up my little GK MB200 bass amp, I determined the closest authorized repair center was about an hour away in Raleigh. I contacted the shop, and spoke to Chris, set up the repair and shipped it off. During the inspection and diagnostic process, he isolated the problem and informed me of the estimated cost. Once I gave the go ahead, he ordered the needed part from GK. During the repair process, he kept me informed of the progress and once completed, shipped it back to me promptly all fixed and as good as new.I highly recommend ProAudio and Keyboard Service Center.

Im not technically a customer (yet), but just recently found a wonderful old (70s era) Lowrey organ which was from a church that evidently has been maintained by Chris and Music Tech Services over the years. Other than it finally needing some speakers to be re-foamed, the extremely complex C-500 organ plays like a dream! Thanks, Chris!

Regarding the reviewer comment about the hours: I had no idea that Google put them in their page. There were probably data mined from an old discontinued website or Google Adword account I used to have. The new hours are correct. However the 12-6 by itself is misleading. You have to click on the hours and a dropdown appears showing the full weekly schedule: Wednesdays and weekends we are closed. Sorry for the confusion.Owner.

AWFUL experience! Pro let me down...I drove an hour there, and back, to have a buzz removed from my Peavey TNT. I picked it up, and when I got home, it had the same buzz! All they could say was bring it back...nope.

Came in on a Thursday with a broken XLR port on a KSub; by next Tuesday I got a call that it was repaired and ready for pick up. Saturday I tested it out and it was flawless! Awesome job!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Guy was obnoxious and could not fix a mic input. That place is a keyboard graveyard. Needs to update it’s not the 80s get with 21st century. Should be called “Vintage keyboard repair shop”

My Vypyr 75 just went out before I went on vacation to Raleigh. I located this place via Peaveys website and decided to take a chance. Im glad I did. The staff was made aware of the short timeline that I had to stay and assured me that it would be ready when I depart back home. Sure enough it was ready and working great. I will definetly be coming back here for any other repairs.
