Visited this location to get a look at some paint colors and ask about good painters in the area.The staff member Justin was very helpful and let me know of a couple of painters/groups he could recommend. If the visit ended there it would be a 4 or 5 star review.But it isnt. On my way to the car I was stopped by two homeless individuals and accosted to try and get them some food from the nearby McDonalds. Behind the building was another individual which I can only assume was pouring a 40 oz over the pavement. I have no idea what was in that can but I didnt stick around long enough to find out

Since I moved to Raleigh, I have been purchasing paint from this store. After a year I stopped in to get some paint and was told they have no interior paint that matched my criteria. I asked if there was a different sheen that I could potentially substitute, was told if I didnt believe him and wanted to go in back and check I can. I was merely asking to see if there was any alternatives. Last year the staff was kind and helpful, that has changed drastically with this little smart mouth. Will find an alternative store to purchase paint from that isnt a Sherwin Williams franchise. Thoroughly disappointed.

Had a really wonderful experience at this location off Peace St in downtown Raleigh. Was immediately greeted and assisted, the staff person helping me (Shirt said Delshown I believe - sorry if I got name wrong!) was extremely knowledgeable on the different paint/finishes, and I was in and out in no time (he even loaded the several gallons into my car for me). Although the store started to get busy after I arrived, all staff remained cool and collected and had the line running swiftly and efficiently - I was impressed, especially when folks are all anxious right now regarding crowds/covid-19. I was a little overwhelmed beforehand with all the options and spending hundreds on paint for a whole house, but left feeling pleasantly surprised on the ease of the interaction. Would recommend Sherwin Williams 100% due to quality of products and customer service received! Thanks

Friendly service. Very accommodating..

It was my first time painting anything ever, and I had no idea what I was doing. The store associate was the most helpful I ever could have asked for. He took me from clueless to ready to paint in 15 minutes.

Very helpful. Curbside service. Couldnt get everything I needed but I understand completely. With all this time available lots of folks are doing painting projects. When this is all over I think we will have very clean painted houses. Use your time wisely!

The customer service is spot on. The employees are intelligent, knowledgeable about the current products and related past SW products. They are helpful - including assisting with loading multiple gallons of paint into my vehicle. They were interested in my project and gave me tips to success. All in all, I had two very successful visits to the Peace Street (Raleigh, NC) location over a 52 hour period.

About a month ago our landlord ordered paint from this store and instructed us to pick it up so we could paint our apartment. Instead of being helpful, the associate argued with my roommate, tried to tell him that he needed a different order, and refused to help without first contacting our landlord who is impossible to get a hold of. About 30 minutes later my roommate returned and was greeted by a different clerk who promptly gave him the correct order without any fuss. Not only was the first clerk rude, but he significantly added to our stress about moving. Now that we are in a brand new house that requires paint on all interior walls, we will definitely not be using Sherwin Williams.

The process to order paint samples over the phone and pick up curbside was extremely simple and everyone was so friendly!

There are other Sherwin Williams stores closer to me and other typical home improvement stores that carry paint, but I have no problem driving past them to shop at this store. The customer service is completely worth it. They are always willing to help and answer questions and whenever there is a sale going on or one coming up they let you know about it and try to help you be as cost effective as possible. I highly recommend this store for the service in addition to the high quality of paint and products they sell.

Very customer-focused professional staff. I am so glad this store is there. If you need paint, go see them. It may cost just a little more than the big box stores’ brand, but well worth it.

Please buy your paint elsewhere. These guys are terrible neighbors. Extremely loud early AM trucks backing up, loud sawing, trucks blocking the street all day. I wouldnt have moved to this neighborhood if I knew how obnoxious they would be on a daily basis.
