This is not your corporate big box hardware and building materials store, its more a bit of an adventure. Inside, they have a lot of stuff in a small space, its crowded, and Ive often needed help from staff to find something. The good side of that is that theres always staff available, and their friendly & helpful. Prices are usually quite reasonable, and occasionally excellent. Outside, for the building materials side, from what I can tell, both prices and selection are better than than anywhere else I know of.I like shopping here, its quirky, different, and a bit of a locals only hidden gem.

These guys are friendly, knowledgeable & reasonably priced. They have a great selection of everyday hardware, household & garden needs. Been a customer for over 12 years & will do my best to keep them in business by both shopping & referring customers.

My Economizers visit was GREAT yesterday. If you need something check out Economizers first. Also, we had them (Hurricane Fence ) install chain link fencing, and Gates. Made a big difference in our property. We love the chain link, install was smooth, pricing great, Guys were on time or early, kept any mess to a minimum. This Company gives back generously to our Community, and has for many many years.

This place is a diamond in the rough they also own a fence company so theres lots of inventory it looks a little disorganized on the outside I didnt go there for 10 years and when I went in desperation boy was I surprised that the inventory they have the good Mom and Pop Hometown Store

I have been using economizers for 30 years, two of my sons have worked there while in high school . This is a family owned business that has a fence company that handles both private and commercial jobs and can custom weld gates and corral panels etc . Yes, sometimes service can take a little longer but they really have the most complete line of paints, tools, accessories and gravel around town .Lurann and family and staff are true downhome country people with big hearts and a good understanding of what you need to make your project fly . Ramona is a better town for having this family oriented do-all hardware store here for the last 40 years !

I tried to ask for discounts for an eagle scout service projects materials. The beneficiary was nonprofit and needed the work and materials, but EPS had by far the worst service ive ever encountered. I left a summary of the project and after calling daily for over a week, the manager still hadnt even looked at it. I called and asked to talk to the manager in person, and after arriving at the given time, she was unavailable. Its now over two weeks since i first asked for thier assistance and they havent even had the decency to look over my proposal. Trust me, this company is not worth your time.
