Big shout out to Rich for taking 20-30 minutes to readjust my trailer so I can make it home safely -- you didnt have to, but you did anyway, which is GREAT customer service. Wow! I consider myself an active consumer where I am constantly purchasing new/ used vehicles from dealerships and even RVs within the last 3 years. ASFB has by far provided the best customer service that I have experienced in a really long time. Sales Rep Richard is awesome. He is both professional and very knowledgeable. I had so many questions with respect to the buying process and then the operating process of the boat and with no issues, Rich was always there with his expertise and knowledge. My husband and I had been looking for a fishing boat for a while and our friend recommended this dealership. We called ahead just to make sure we can come in in person without any issues. They were clearly super busy but that is to be expected....we had narrowed it down to few models and took our time to walk around. Richard took good care of us, friendly and knowledgeable and most of all patient with my husband who is very particular....we also spoke with Harmon the owner. He went over the process with us...we now have a boat on order, super happy with our selection! Thank you!

Horrible customer service. Sales manager was very rude and unprofessional over the phone. When we went into the business very unprofessional atmosphere. Two larges dogs running around in lobby. No one greeted us, and receptionist knew nothing about inventory, stated someone would greet us to show us around... no one ever did. Followed up with phone calls to sales manager and was very disappointed in the attitude he presented. Prequalified to purchase brand new boat and I will be taking my business else where.

Mid last year I was on the look for a small fiberglass boat, I didnt have anything specific in mind, but with the recommendations from the sales reps I decided on an E16 and I couldnt be happier with it. The customer service has been phenomenal from everyone there!

It is unfortunate that this place is very unprofessional.I had been in communication with the owner Harmon via email about ordering a Bayliner E18 for my father for fathers day. He instructed me it would take 6 months to have it delivered and offered me other boats they had in stock.We settled on a Bayliner VR6 he had in stock and let him know we had interest in it. We were working with the finance department there at ASFB to secure to loan for that boat and kept open dialog with the finance department and Harmon.Application was placed Saturday and spoke to finance department who told me they needed documents from sales department and would be done Tuesday. As I did not hear from them Tuesday, I reached out to Harmon and them on Wednesday for an update in which Harmon saidYes we are waiting to hear back from the bankI spoke to the finance department Thursday, they provided my sister and I with a loan offer for the boat and we agreed on their terms and accepted the loan.The finance department told me they would send everything over to Harmon and to make sure I had boat insurance before I came to pick up the boat. I set up the boating insurance as instructed.3 hours later Harmon called to tell us that they sold the Boat and we could order one but it would be 6 months or we could buy a different one on the lot.I called the finance department and requested information on the loan we had accepted in which they would not provide me with the information as I wanted to take the loan offer elsewhere.They advised me that I could look for a boat elsewhere at another dealer and they would then try to get the boat transferred to them and we could use the loan through ASFB to buy a different boat that way.At the same time they would not provide me with any other dealers names that they have a good relationship with due to competition concerns.So my credit and my sisters credit took hard inquiry hits, hours wasted with this company, and they had the balls to ask me to buy a different boat and do extra work so they could profit off a different sale when they sold the original deal.I will also add for honesty that I did not place a deposit fee or purchase agreement for this boat. Mr Harmon never asked for a deposit to hold the boat. We kept open dialog via email with him and his finance department over the phone about this boat. A good honest business person and company would not let you waste your time and incur credit inquires to simply sell the boat after you have secured a loan through their own finance department.I want to thank the finance personnel Dasha who worked rigorously to help us get the loan. We appreciate your help and apologize that you had to be placed in such an unfortunate and uncomfortable position due to the poor decisions made by your boss.As for the owner Harmon. We were able to buy a boat same day with a different fantastic boat dealer who understands customer service and good business practice. You may not care nor understand that concept aslong as you received your commission and profits but have some integrity Sir.

Bad customer service. Walked the whole lot and wasnt even greeted. Not even when we we walked into the store. The front office staffs didnt have a clue on what they had available. The guy who the front office staffs told us to speak with was also unprofessional. Word of advice, if you have boats and theyre sold, label them.

Went in today to see if they could rebuild a lower unit. If the cost didn’t make sense to me. Was going to do a repower on my bass boat.Sat in the lobby for about 30 minutes after being told Someone would be right with me.I could not imagine spending 15k on a new motor.with this level of customer service. Could only imagine what hassles would come with it. If initial impression was horrible.I left after waiting 30 minutes. Who knows if anyone was accualy going to help me...

I bought a new mercury 60hp CT from them and had them install it on my pontoon boat. Motor was mounted incorrectly, (way to low), The new prop started to have cavitation problems. They say that everything was done right. But another shop said its way to low and it should have a Jackplate installed to get the correct height. Problem #1 prop nut was loose after 4 hours of use. #2 one of the four mounting bolts was loose. #3 motor mounted to low. I understand things happen. So Im out a new prop, Thats where customer service comes in or lack of. They will not return your call unless the pocket book is out. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

Great service. While deciding which boat to buy I called George in service dept several times to ask his opinions on the boats I was considering since he works on them and would truly know the pros and cons. He was very helpful. I’ve brought my boat to them for the annual service for the last few years. I always leave feeling they did a great job at a fair price. Marty is very helpful too. There’s plenty of room here to park your boat inside if it’s a repair that takes more than a day.

Called on a Lowe aluminum boat they had on craigslist. Upon driving 40 mins to their dealership I found out the information I was given over the phone was far from being correct. The picture on their posting wasnt the boat they were selling. The boats they did have were stacked up on top of each other and all had scratches and or small dings in them. Was also told there was a $250 freight fee that would be added to selling price. I went there with my trailer with intent on purchasing a boat and going home with something. I was flexible on the arrangement of the boat only I did expect it to at least look new. They said they could sell me a small can of spray paint for $45. Shame on you. No deal. Clean your boats up and have pride in what you sell. Enough said!

I made about 10 deliveries to this place and the receivers are fairly nice guys. But this one time, the owner had his brand new pickup truck and boat blocking the alley, a worker asked him to move it so I could get by to make the delivery, he wouldnt do it. I had to back out into a busy Street. I wouldnt buy a life jacket off that guy if I was drowning.

We purchased a new LOWE pontoon pre-covid. The boat was due to arrive on 4/26. We received the boat on 6/26. Upon pickup, we got the tour of the boat. Here are the issues we have been experiencing:1. The front door was unhinged. The owner hammered it in to fix. The front door will fall off randomly because the hinges fall out.2. The back gate closure mechanism was installed incorrectly. You need to bend the frame in order to get it to close properly.3. The bimini top is missing teeth. We brought this up to the owner the day we brought it home, he will not do anything to resolve the issue since we removed the warranty tag.4. 7/9 - OUR BOAT WOULDNT START. We opened the hatch to find that the ignition switch was taped together with electrical tape. (it looks like the teeth that typically hold it together were broken upon installation and someone taped them together. We advised them of the issue and sent pictures. Its 7/28, and OUR BOAT IS STILL NOT WORKING. The owner asked if we could bring the boat back in (1. Our boat is in a wetslip, and cant start, so he is expecting us to swim it to the trailer??!!, 2. We live 2 hours away...)We are completely unimpressed with the customer service. AND we have a new boat that hasnt worked for 3 weeks.

Very excited to buy a boat and make a business connection with ASFB. Over the phone i wasnt treated very nice. I thought maybe in person would be different. NOPE. Mr.Harmen was not professional. Weird lady walking around the showroom never said hi. Dogs running around the showroom. Dogs eating my kids snacks out of their hands. Boats looked as if they were just shoved into the back property. Really didnt enjoy my visit. I will be taking my $ elsewhere. Think twice before you make the trip.

I bought my tohatsu 6hp outboard for my solo skiff from them and I had great service from the staff. I will be doing all of my boat and boating accessorie purchases from here in the future.

Just called in to ask about a boat and all he could tell me was that they are sold out and that there wouldn’t be more until late 2018. Then I asked for information about other dealers in the area and he didn’t want to give me any info. Definitely won’t be back here to add to my fleet of boats. 2 thumbs down, take your business elsewhere to a company that cares.

I purchased a new Heyday wake boat. The sales representative that helped me was Rich. He was awesome. He was very professional and met our needs. I would recommend all my friends and family who are looking for a boat to buy here. If you have kids they have a poodle in the office named toodles my daughter loved him. Cant say enough things about this place. If I buy a second boat in the future I will return to ASFB MARINE. The process was painless and easy I drove over 2.5 hours to do business here. Well worth it.

This was probably one of my best purchase experiences I ever have had. Ive been in the market few months and been to many dealerships in Northern California. When I came to ASFB Marine it was different. The staff was friendly and had great product knowledge and treated me like a person. Long story short... I called this dealership about a boat they had, and after he answered a few questions I then asked him if he would hold the boat for me if I offered a credit card. I was told not to worry about it, that he would hold the boat until this evening. Just call before I drive down.IM SURE GLAD I DID!! Upon calling the owner to let them know my ETA, I was informed that they sold it. I asked why and was told that he never promised to hold the boat.Its hard for normal working people to leave during the day, so im sure holding boats is a regular accurance. Pretty irritated that I left work early burning my sick time for a boat that is no longer available.

The customer service was one of the worse I have experienced. They didnt keep their commitment on delivery which was estimated at 6 weeks and ended up almost 11 weeks. Both the sales manager and office assistant did not keep us informed of what was going on, were short to the extent of being rude and didnt return phone calls. I ended up having to drive down their in order to get information. Overall, they were very unprofessional. It was my second new boat purchase and what should have been a good experience was a nightmare.

I just recently purchased a 50 horsepower Tohatsu outboard for my pontoon boat. I found the customer service that I received from Richard and George to be exceptional. I will utilize the services of ASFB for all my boating needs from now on.

Got a great boat from here but the process was a complete nightmare as we were not told allot of the necessary information we needed to know and paperwork was not done right causing chaos for us...

First review Ive ever done. I bought a boat from ASFB last year, Lowe fm1710. After returning from deployment I had issues with the fuel system, every warranty repair shop in Sacramento area was booked for 4-8 weeks, I explained my situation to their mechanic George, that I was only in town for a week on leave, needless to say he had the motor diagnosed/parts on order the same day, and a day after the parts arrived he had the boat finished. He had worked outside of normal business hours to meet my unreasonable time frame. The boat was returned in under a week, and ASFB had earned a customer for life, thank you!

Well I probably wont go back there. Carburator rebuild on a small trolling motor took months, not weeks, to complete. It appears to be running OK now but they should have made it clear that they were very, very busy. Or maybe they are just very, very slow.
