Delish fresh donuts. All the staples. Blueberry and Apple fritters too. Owners are very friendly and they never run out.It amuses me that I like to go to workout next door to come here to eat my calories burned.

The donuts are great, the service is friendly, the selection is good. They have one good-sized display case with every type of donut you would expect a smaller shop to have. We were there around 8am on a weekday, and they still had a full selection of donuts left. We bought a dozen mix of glazed, sugar, and chocolate bars. They were all great, and they came with glazed donut holes thrown in for free!

This was absolutely amazing!!!! The doughnuts were great as was the service. Would definitely recommend for a yummy 😋 treat

20/9 1st time review, but dozen times customer over the past 10 years (5 Star within the confines of below):-- This is a small shop--just one small donut case & four little tables. So, best selection earlier in the morning--once out, thats it until the next day.-- New Hours 5a - 1p (posted on door as of this review).-- One person working shop, so can take a while if a line.-- They also have a small refrigerator case offering bottled milk. Plus a handful of simple coffee options.

This place is unassuming from the outside, but inside houses some of the best donuts I have ever had. These donuts just melt in your mouth with each and every bite. We did not try the coffee so I cannot speak to that. But the donuts.... AMAZING

The young lady at the counter is extremely people friendly, I enjoy her enthusiasm. The donuts are always fresh (made daily) and the customer service is quicker than most donut shops Ive bought from.

Rancho basically has 3 donut shops within a 3 mile radius; this one, one on zinfandel and a third on sunrise/coloma.This is my favorite donut shop. The donuts are like crispy kreme in the sense that the donut itself is light. But these have a bit more substance and bite vs crispy kreme. Super good and unique, I 100% recommend. Any of their glazed varieties are top notch, and their apple fritter isnt overly sweet.Allen donuts is the smallest shop of ranchos 3 shop, but with the bestest donuts. The shop on sunrise is very good too. The shops apple fritter is the best of the 3 shops, its the least sweet. Their donuts are a bit above average for a donut shop. The donuts themselves have a good amount of substance, and isnt overly heavy. Friendly, I highly recommend this place.The zinfandel shop is the worst of the 3. Its friendly, but the workers arent as friendly as the other two. Their donuts have too much substance and are too heavy. This place produces safeway tasting/style donuts. Chewy, dense style donuts. Their apple fritter is dense, heavy, very very large and is way too sweet. The only thing I can recommend from this shop are their donut holes. This shop is also the most crowded and sometimes youll encounter a local zombie coming down from their fix.

BEST DONUTS EVER. Allen’s donuts are the absolute best, most delicious, softest, fluffiest, tastiest donuts you’ll ever eat. Don’t bother going anywhere else in Rancho Cordova because you won’t find better donuts. The employees are friendly and sweet as well.

Allens has the freshest donuts. Try the Cream Puff donut hole. They are amazing! The Strawberry Twist is delicious! And the ladies are so sweet!

Visiting Rancho Cordova for a family celebration and wanted to bring donuts to a family breakfast. Google sent us here and glad it did. Fantastic donuts, great selection, and wonderful customer service. Highly recommend!

I ordered 2 dozen for my co-workers and myself. I was served fast and ordered a variety. She new just what to put in cause I only got 1, the rest were gone in seconds.

I love this cute little shop. Its easy going, the ladies are so nice, simple pricing, and fresh goodies every morning! Theres usually a few people who talk at the table near the back, theyre a fun crowd who love to have a good laugh or an educated conversation

The donut baker only prepares and bakes donuts in the morning, and almost always they all taste good! By the time you come past 10am or 12noon, theyre almost all gone! This makes them all fresh and surely nothing gets resold the next day. Price is friendly cheap, quality is high.

Came in Easter selection was low but donuts where good.

I had to find a donut shop open after 430pm because the wife wanted a cream filled donut and go figure, they were open and had one. Parking lot is good, gps is weird made me go around the building when its in the complez, just a heads up if your gps tries to route you around the building.

Customer service very poor. Seems to pick who theyre friendly to. Wont be getting any more of my business.
