I had one of the worst sales experiences ever at Mastria Mazda. I had an appointment at 5:15 to test drive a cx-5 and showed up early. I was immediately informed that they are very busy and that we may not be helped right away. Totally understandable, everywhere is short staffed right now! HOWEVER please do not let us make an appointment for 5:15 if you are going to rush us through the process. We even asked what happens at 6:00 if we were not finished and the man helping us said “well I get time and a half!!!!!!”. When it came to my trade in, the salesman named a few things wrong with it that was decreasing the value. I asked how much more I could get for it if I got these issues fixed and he said “well it’s not going to go up leaps and bounds if that’s what you’re thinking” and also threw in the phrase “we’re not a charity” at one point in time. If they are not willing to negotiate ANYTHING than that is fine but there is no reason to get rude and snippy with us when we try, especially when buying a used car. As far as I’m concerned negotiation is a HUGE part of the used car buying process. Overall, it was just a terrible experience. The salesman seemed like he could care less if we purchased the car or not and was short, rude and snippy from the start. He seemed annoyed with the few questions we asked and made it seem like we were an inconvenience to him. I understand that he may have been having a bad/busy day so I want to give him the benefit of the doubt but that is no excuse to treat us like trash when I was there to spend a significant amount of money. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

While I appreciate honesty that they were giving me the best offer in my situation, they didn’t even try to help me look at a different car that would be in my price range, and after that he just walks away and comes back and says “you’re all set.” Definitely didn’t feel respected here because of my price range. Buying the car with Mike was an awesome experience. Dealing with service has been absolutely horrible. So bad that I will never buy another car from that dealership. They have left lug nuts loose and 1 actually feel off on the road somewhere, left screws started but never finished tightening on my mud flaps, left my oil drain plug so loose that I could turn it by hand.. All under my new car is covered in oil, a tech told me he couldnt fix the blind spot monitoring system, so I told him to change the sensor and it worked. Left grease marks on my parchment interior. All of this has happened in just 1 year. I cant begin to explain how mad I am. I bought a brand new car so I wouldnt have to deal with issues.

I purchased an used VW beetle back in June. Salesman Jake indicated vehicle had Apple CarPlay when discussing car’s features. Upon purchasing, I discovered it did not have that feature. When I expressed my frustration (misrepresented product), I got no response from Jake or the dealer’s management. The car is not the problem, it’s their lack of customer service. Left me with a sour taste. They will never get my business in the future.

Story time: During the last week of August, I became car-less. My used 6-speed 2011 Kia Sportage died on me.... specifically, the clutch went and needed to be replaced. After receiving the wonderful news that this replacement will cost between $2,500-$3000, and after A LOT of convincing from the hubby, we decided that the money would be better used towards a down payment on a new car. I went in curious about the CX-3, and after a beautiful, scenic test drive (this route suggested by Big Red) quickly realized that I wasnt interested. Within a few seconds, Big Red found me the car I never knew I needed, the Mazda cx-5 touring. Unfortunately, it took me a long time to embrace this car. With multiple calls to family and friends and a series of emotional breakdowns (seriously yall, I cried for my old car) I signed the papers for my new car. Throughout this process Thomas was amazing. He never judged me and made sure that the car was available and ready in time for me to go to work. His instructions on the how to for the features was on point.
