Best experience I ever had! Super friendly, attentive, fast AND professional. It was my first time here and I felt welcomed from the moment I pulled my car in. They changed my tire in less than 10 minutes and had me out the door almost instantly after. All while being extremely friendly and welcoming. Great definitely recommend if you want great/fast service!

I was able to get the tire Ive used for 12 years from Mavis after everyone else telling me that It was no longer available. 5th street Mavis was awesome. Tabitha was a pleasure to talk to and Jobe got my alignment literally dead center when another location said it couldnt be done. Sunday hours are also great, since most of us only have 2 days to choose from. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Definitely going back when needed.

Excellent excellent excellent!! And heres the story.About a week or two ago,I was driving and heard this odd (nerve wracking) sound coming from either my front or back brakes. Could not figure out what it was until I stopped at Mavis Tire. A technician took my truck and put it on the lift, took off both tires and just like that, BAM! They found out what was wrong. My right brake pad was was on BACKWARDS,and my rotor was destroyed. I was told that this is the first time anyone has bought a vehicle in with this issue. But I want to thank the entire staff at Mavis. You guys did a FANTASTIC JOB!! Thank you so much

I had a flat tire and tried to change it myself. I could not get the lug nuts off they were way too tight. I called Weavers Towing he came down and he could not even get the lug nuts off. So I said go to Pep Boys. We got there and they tell me that we cannot work on it till tomorrow they only have one mechanic . Then the one guy says to me what size tires do you need I said I dont need a tire I just need a spare put on you kept trying to sell me a tire I just left.Weavers towed me to Mavis and I was out of there in15 minutes. Great service and staff.

I somehow managed to get something lodged into my tire on my way to work. I waited until after work (around 430) to called 2 other places before Mavis and they were all completely booked. Mavis was too but they squeezed me since I have to go to work Saturday morning. They were so kind and helpful.

Great staff working there, All friendly. Didnt feel like they were trying to up-sell anything just to make a extra buck. Real clean waiting room.

I got a screw in my tire while I was traveling for work and Mavis was awesome about helping me out! I was stressed about being able to get home safe and they took care of me right away! I was even able to get a quick oil change at the same time which was so convenient!!

I went to Mavis cause I didn’t know what was wrong with my car, so I brought it in so they can run some test and they told me what to do to get it fixed. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Would come back if I had any problem for sure.

Workers scheduled me in just an hour prior to close today same day I called In for a tire patch and only $20 before tax for a 17” tire not a tire plug, they patch them last way longer and this includes a fresh balance on it, way cheaper then theyre very close by competitors at Monro muffler and they didn’t even have appointments until end of the week for a simple tire patch so glad I called mavis instead cheap fast professional !!! 10 out of 10 ! 100% reccomend shoutout to Ben who assisted me professional outgoing guy! Very friendly ! Make you feel welcomed rather then somebody just giving them more work like some other shops will do !

This is the service store in Reading, Pa on 5th St Hwy. I went there wanting two front all weather tire and left with a $2162.91 estimate. I went another 40 year mechanic and my car needed nothing on Mavis Discount Tires estimate….rip offs

Sunday june 27 on my way home from baltimore I had a blow out. I had bought the tires on my car from Mavis and being that BMW does not offer a spare for this model car I limpped my car off the highway to Mavis but not this Mavis. After going to the first Mavis and having a road hazard warranty and the manager refusing to help in any way. I called this Mavis from the parking lot of the first mavis. The manager was very nice I explained to her the problem she told me if I could get the tire to the store she would fix it ASAP. So with some help I arrived an hour later no questions ask she took the wheel and tire and had a replacement in minutes. I would recommend this store to anyone. I wasnt asking for the world to stop for me I just wanted a tire replaced so I could get my family home from vacation.

Dont go here they try and rip ppl off. My daughter needed tires and the mechanic said they only way he would put new tires on is if she would 1400 to get work done on her car. Very rude not professional at all.

Bought tires here about a year ago for the cost savings over others and how well they treated customers. The staff has since changed and its very noticeable. The store front end sales floor smelled of cigarettes heavily and the front end staff was fair at best with customer service. The store itself is absolutely disgusting. Filthy floors, dirty restrooms and garbage overflowing in the customer waiting area. To say that this place has gone down hill is an understatement!

Took my wifes car in to replace a tire that had a nail in it. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Supplying an Uber to allow you to go home rather than wait at the shop is a great customer service perk.

My car is 20 years old and little things are starting to break.. everything I go to Mavis because the staff is friendly and always go above and beyond to not only fix whats wrong with my car but take the time to explain to me what needs done amd why. I hands down trust the mechanics with my car 100%!!

I highly recommend mavis tire! I thought I just needed a new tire but then my car became undrivable because I was unaware of the serious problem that existed! My daughter and I were not not safe on the road at all . They brought me to my cat to show me what the problem was and we are good to go now! Thank you Mavis!!!!

I had a good experience coming here. I needed to get tires fast which happened to be a Sunday late afternoon. They were open thankfully and at first I only wanted 1 new tire but I did get a great deal if I bought 4 new ones which I did. There was a great selection of quality tires to choose from. They were a little busy but I did say I was in a hurry and they did work fast and I was in and out in less then their estimated time. I will definitely be going back the next time I need to buy tires again.

Yesterday morning, I went for groceries. After I put my groceries in the trunk. My car wouldnt start. I was right across from NTB ( National Tire & Battery ) on the 5th street highway. I called and the guy came over in less than 15 minutes . He jump started my car and wouldnt accept any money. He suggested I stop at the shop and hed check my battery. He did a complete check and still wouldnt accept any money. So I want to give a big shout out to NTB for their generosity and caring at this time. Thank you so much. Please keep this business in mind for your car needs.

My vehicle was hit by one of the mechanic here and they are still giving me a hard time about paying for damages even though I provided a quote. I would not recommend this place at all.

I had a scheduled appointment to get 4 new tires- my appointment was at 10am- I was there 10 minutes early to check in and confirm tires and agreed on a price for the tires, alignment, and warranty... I was waiting and waiting and by 12:30pm, I asked how much longer they think it will be- they replied just a few more minutes okay! So I decide to pop out and walk around for fresh air- its taking awhile but theyre also checking my alignment so I give them the benefit of the doubt- I happen to look in the open garage and theres my car up on the lift with no tires!!! And no one working near it.By 1:30pm my car was done after a 10am appointment for 4 new tires!!When I paid, I noticed the bill was significantly less- I glanced through it and asked about the wheel alignment and he said he took that off because I seemed like I was in such a hurry ( I was- every other place Ive ever gotten it done has taken around an hour or hour and half tops!)I honestly didnt want them to take my car back and work on it longer since it took over 3 hours for a scheduled appointment for new tires! I didnt want to take even longer for the alignment.I will not go back to them unless I have issues with the tires within the next 6 months since they should at least last that long - otherwise I will not go through them again for anything.

Had a great first experience here the other day! They take customer service seriously and squeezed me in on a busy day. All new tires and an oil change in a couple of hours.

NTB was the only place that was able to replace my battery the same day I brought it in without any complaints of a time constraint! The people were helpful and so friendly, would recommend!

Use to go here all the time great tire. But yesterday I sent a appointment for 10 am and was running late so I decide to call to let them know the guy was just like we don’t have any appointment for you and if I want ServiceI would have to leave my car there all day just for two new tire. The last time I got service for a oil change and wheel adjustment. They said they did it but never did anything drove my car home on the high way hit 60 and my car my to turn in to the other lane worse then I brought it in. They need better worker last time for me waste of money at this point

Said they had my tires in stock. 2 hours later after seeing no work being done on my car and multiple employees standing around on their phones I asked for an update They said that they did not have my tires. Would have been nice to know! 2 hours WASTED. Waiting Room is filthy. Bathrooms may actually be a bio hazard. Avoid at all costs.

Great customer service and reliable

It took a hour and a half for an oil change and tire rotation. I had an appointment and my vehicle was taken right in.The waiting area chairs are ragged and falling apart. No trash can and a out of order bathroom.When I checked on why things were taking so long, the technician told me they ran out of oil and it would be delivered shortly.After seeing oil delivered and more waiting I checked in again to find out they were trying to figure how to reset oil life setting on the 2017 Honda CRV. I left and did that reset myself.

This location was bought out by Mavis and used to be NTB. They do not recognize the NTB tire hazard warranty that I have on my tires. After 30 min, I had to ask what was wrong with my leaking tire because no one relayed the info to me nor did they ask if it was ok to repair the tire. Lack of communication. Also no one wears masks including the front desk. No social distancing and no sanitizing measures observed. I do not plan to return to this location.

I had a slow leak in one of my tires. I called and spoke to Jose and he told me if I get there around 6, that theyd squeeze me in. The snow squall on the way made me a few minutes late but they squeezed me in. Jose stopped in the waiting room to let me know they were fixing my tire and would be a few minutes. When they were done, I was told that there was no charge! I thanked the nice staff, including Jose, and thought Id be on my way. My key fob wasnt working, so Jose and a nice young lady who also works there, helped me figure out what was wrong and I left to go home.Such nice staff and what a nice Christmas surprise gift!

They were kind enough to get the work my vehicle needed done were very quick clean and understanding they got me back on the road the guys behind the desk were friendly didnt make me feel like i was being bamboozled also the mechanics explained every detail every step sooo i recommend this place to anyone and dont worry bout coming up short they got u....

Hour an a half wait from my appointed time, waste of my time!!! My appointment was at 3 o’clock, to kill time I decided to go for a walk ensuring they had my phone number before departing. It has been and hour and a half and I thought, strange no call. Upon returning I saw my car in the same location with the same tires. I checked my phone, surly I missed a call, but no. I went inside, and was told by the person behind the counter; oh I’m going to have them bring the car in now. I got my keys and left, it was clear my time meant nothing to them.

I came in because I had a light on my dash I didn’t know what it was. Jessica was very helpful and came out to my car to let me know what it was. Without an appointment she had my car pulled into the shop within minutes and had the technician look at my tires to ensure my safety. It turned out that I just needed air in my tires due to the temperature change. I not only learned something new about my vehicle (which is new to me) but I feel safe knowing there is nothing wrong. I feel you have a very caring individual working for you, as Jessica was very friendly when I walked in and listened to my concerns. I will return to Ntb in reading because I feel confident this team knows what they are doing and they truly care!Thank you!

Was in today for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Been there several times for tire purchases, repairs and maintenance. Always been very happy. Today, like a whole new experience. Waited over 2 hours (not even close to busy), to finally be told they were working on vehicle. Showed me that I had a screw in sidewall of my tire (naturally, not there fault), at that point, just draining the oil. Had to buy new tire. Told him give me cheapest tire that he can as I will buy a full set when its time for the other 3. Finally after 3 hours he says they are ready for the tire. It would be $102 plus installation. I said, do u have anything cheaper? He says how about $72? Finally figured out what cheapest meant. I use Ntb for everything for my cars for quite some time also in GA. And Fl. Not even close to comfortable with them now. It was like the blind leading the blind. Summary, went in for $30 oil change, left with $152, 3 hour job.Not good

I have been to many other garages but hands down this garage has it together! Never do you walk into a shop to be greeted with a smile and people making you feel that they genuinely are happy to serve you! I got that from this shop! Came in for a simple oil change, Jessica brought me out to show me I had started an oil leak and that my brakes were getting low and I would need to change them soon. The only thing I would change is the coffee machine was not working and I would have liked a cup of joe. Great job to NTB for employing well rounded individuals, you got a customer for life
