Excellent shop, great team behind the business. Each one of them has been not only friendly, but gone out of their way to help, even with my odd and unusual bicycle related requests. They are not only knowledgeable and trustworthy mechanics, but they have years of experience selling and servicing some of the best road bikes on the market. Keep up the great work.

I bought my bike here 4 years ago and bring it in for service regularly. Everyone is always very nice and helpful when I come in with urgent service requests, such as a broken shifter (fixed under warranty the week before STP back in 2018) and worn out disc brake rotors (replaced with the last 2 compatible rotors they had in stock in the middle of the pandemic shortages). The prices are not super cheap but they are reasonable because of the high quality and attention to detail. And many times they will even fix simple things like bad gear indexing for free.

Great service, good shop. The guy who helped me with my bike today would get 6/5 stars if it was an option. As to the shop, would give 5 stars happily if there wasnt an employee walking around today without a mask, talking inches from customers. Its a small space and hes was face to face with a lot of people. Someone complained and he put one on, but didnt coverhis nose. Its not cool to risk your customers lives for convenience.

New employee Jonathon was an invaluable help finding me a bike saddle that fit me. After numerous stores just kind of hand waving “just try it out and bring it back if it doesn’t work”, I was surprised and delighted that Jonathon was patient enough to put the seats I wanted to try on a bike trainer, saving me multiple embarrassing trips back to the store. He was very knowledgeable and helped relieve some of the anxiety I’ve been feeling around biking. The seat I liked the most was a little spendy but I’m happy to pay for the premium service.

Very disappointing. Post a bike for for sale on your website at a sales price, and when I call to purchase it, suddenly the cost is a lot higher and you wont honor the sales price. I would never do business this way, but I guess if thats how you get people in the door...Half truth review??? Please explain. Nothing in my review is not 100% completely accurate. Nice try. And if it were a mistake and not advertisement fraud, you wouldnt still have it listed at a lower than what it is cost. Great way to get people to call the store...Pretty sure FTC has laws against that.

Small retail and excellent customer service are not dead. Need proof? Look no further than the great team at Element Cycles in Redmond, WA. Believe it or not, there are still consumers that place a high value on service and product expertise, they won’t be disappointed with Element. I became a customer last summer, while in search of a new road bike. I don’t buy on impulse and had visited many of the local cycling shops to find the right bike. I initially went to Element because of the product line they carry: excellent quality, performance bicycles. Of course, they delivered on that front. However, that was just a part of the equation. What they really sold me on was the knowledge, passion for the sport, and excellent customer service of the entire staff. For me, the greatest measure of the professionalism of an organization is not how you’re treated during the sales process, it’s how you’re treated after buying. Well, there is a reason I enjoy going into Element now, to hang out and “kick tires”, these guys are just cool and totally stoked about cycling, and stoked that you’re a cyclist. Plus, it’s always fun to check out the latest bikes! Last summer was a new road bike for me - a sweet BMC Team Machine - this summer will be a new mountain bike. No doubts on where I’ll be buying. Keep up the great work, Element Cycles crew!

I rented a mountain bike from Element and everyone was super nice and answered all my questions. The Pivot bike was in great shape and I had an excellent day on the trails. The only issue was that they were out of the less expensive hard tails and I had to get the more expensive dual suspension bike. Great Service. I came in upset and left thinking I wouldnt buy a bike anywhere else. I bought a bike for my 8 year old a few months back. One of the things that sold me on the bike in the first place was that they had a one year service guarantee so if the bike broke, we could bring it in and they would fix it. We dont know much about mountain bikes so we picked one that was a little cheaper since he is bound to outgrow it in a year or two. We live right by Duthie Hill Park so we have been there a half a dozen times with the bike. We started noticing that the brakes werent working right and the chain on the bike kept falling off. After going to Stevens Pass to go downhill mountain biking, I came to realize that the bike we bought was not going to work. I brought the bike into the shop upset that it was giving us problems and the lady that greeted us at the door was very quick to calm me down and offered a solution that went above and beyond what i was expecting! She explained to me that the bike we bought wasnt meant for the things that we were using it for. So after months of use on the bike we bought, they allowed us a full refund in exchange for a bike that was meant for the things that we use it for. My 8 year old was SO excited about the new bike and I was SO excited in the way they handled the situation. It is refreshing to see a company that stands behind the products they sell. I have already told this story to 3 other people and the reaction is the same.. they all cant believe that this type of service still exists. Keep up the good work Element Cycles!!

The back people (e.g. mechanics) were nice and seemed knowledgeable. However, my problem with this place lies with their front counter people. More specifically, the older woman working the front desk today. I went in with my backpack. I felt like she had been eyeing me the whole time that I was there. My suspicion was correct when she finally very loudly said, Did you just put something into your pocket? It was more than what she said, but the tone in which she said it. It was unmistakable that she had already judge me for shoplifting. I was so embarrassed of basically being asked if I had just stolen something in front of everyone like that that I just couldnt enjoy the store. I preceded to empty both of my pockets for her just to show her that I hadnt stolen anything of theirs. She never apologized for her asking, just stated, I thought you had put something in your pocket. If they want to make it a policy for all clients to leave their backpacks at the front counter while shopping, Im all for that. Just dont stereotype back pack carriers as a shoplifters.
