Love this coffee shop! The staff is always extremely friendly and the coffee is delicious. I always make it a point to stop by when Im in Redondo Beach for a coffee. Strongly recommend for anyone looking for a non-chain coffee house and to support a local business owner.

Great coffee... So much better than S-bucks. Great cozy vibe, with nice indoor seating well spaced for distancing.

I was in town for a couple days and both times I stopped by I had a great experience. The staff was super nice and helpful (even when dealing with obnoxious customers). I had some of their caffeinated teas (the rooibos and some vanilla) but they made them iced for me. My favorite place in Redondo so far!

Just had the worst experience at this coffee place. After paying eight bucks for a chai latte and a cookie the guy refused to give me an extra small cup unless I paid him $1 and told me that I was trying to save money and that’s the reason I bought the 20 oz. What freaking idiots. Just lost a customer over sheer dumbness.

LOVE this unique comfortable place with a wide variety. Come here every single day when I’m visiting redondo beach area. Every employee is way above when it comes to knowledge and service.

Very nice place with fantastic oatmilk latte...also the 2 wonderful ladies that work there have fantastic customer service. My toddler knocked off a shelf with some stuff and they were so nice about it. Usually, its quite a momement for the parents:), they made it not emberrasing for us. You should definately pass by for some tasty coffee and yammy pastries.

Hands down one of my favorite coffee places in Southern California. Me and my partner always go here for their coffee and other drinks (they have a lot) and also to play chess! They have books and other games available too. Not to mention their prices are cheaper than most coffee shops. Love this place!

Coffee is somewhat expensive but pretty good and they usually have different flavors to choose from (plus theyre open late). Staff is pretty relaxed and easy-going. Typical L.A. coffee-house atmosphere here.Tip: Bottled water here is insanely expensive!

Smoking everywhere. Couldnt breath. I have heart problems. Made my heart beat faster. Coffee tastes burnt and old.. They used old coffee grounds. It taste horrible. So I threw it away. I wont go there again.

Super cute coffee spot. I enjoyed my time there, only gave a 4 star because my chocolate croissant was super dry and not enjoyable. Its a great place to sit and read, or do some work. I love the quirky set up and relaxed vibe. Highly recommend this place to study, just make sure you get there early for a good spot.

Such a cool and cozy coffee shop weve been visited. Hands down one of my favorite coffee places in Southern California. Service was fast and friendly staff.

Baristas were nice. I just wanted a black coffee so they gave me brief descriptions of the roasts that were brewed that day. I ended up choosing the recommended flavored brew and it was great. I would definitely go here again!

Best thing about this place is how late its open! Great for a late night chat or work spot on the quiet streets of Riviera Village. The coffee is decent, the pastries look scary. The crowd is mixed. They have cool things like open mic nights. My chai latte was surprisingly good.

This is a cool place, and very spacious, with lots of comfy chairs and couches, and plenty of table space to set your coffee or tea drinks on. There are little alcoves that make you feel like you are in a small sitting room or den, which is really unique and nice for spending quiet time alone or with another person. I thought this place used to be called Catalina Coffee, though. It probably is the same locale, under a different name. But please correct me if Im wrong! Thank you!

Ive been going to this coffee shop for 20 years. Its got an authentic Mom and Pop feel to it. Very homey, inviting and inspiring. A great place to make friends, read, write, or perform at their open mic poetry event on Tuesday nights.

Coffee Cartel is my personal go-to coffee house. I used to live a couple of blocks away until the rents in the area skyrocketed and forced my wife and I to have to move further inland ... into the interior of Torrance.But I still ride my electric-assist bike down to Coffee Cartel to get my morning mocha and do a little work on my laptop.Theres always an eclectic gathering of interesting people who frequent the Cartel.Actually, I think their coffees, espressos, teas, and food is way better than McStarbucks or McCoffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Its just a fact. Plus, theyre just more personal, and feel like a part of the community.Corporate franchises just NEVER feel that way, and thats because theyre NOT and they never will be. Its not part of the corporate mindset or its infrastructure.Plus, there are WAY more places to sit down and relax at Coffee Cartel. Theres nothing personal, nothing homey about a McStarbucks.

Highly recommend an iced cafe mocha with oat milk! The barista was kind enough to let me know that the frappe blends contain milk powder and therefore werent vegan, and directed me to menu options better suited to me (much appreciated 💕). Great atmosphere to relax and study!

Eat your heart out, Starbucks! This is the space you WISH you could be! Great coffees & confections are only half of the story in this spot. The open reading room, free wi-fi & just comfortable, all-are-welcome atmosphere make weekly visits a must for my wife & I. Try it & see if you dont fall in love with CC, too! 😃

My favourite coffee shop in town. Order the Chai Latte, its amazing. I love coming here after spending time at the beach, which is right down the street. Its filled with old couches and chairs, which adds to the charm. Ive noticed a lot of high school kids come here to study on weeknights. Only a few outlets in the place, so if you need to plug-in this might be a little difficult. Ive come here a lot to chat and hang with different friends and its always been a great experience!

It is very good place to chat with people who is local, it also has a varieties of good beverages. It has a small collection library, games of chess, cards, and magic games. Good places to set inside and outside, and it is very close to the beach. There are some fun meeting that happens there too.

My favourite cafe in LA since moving from Australia a couple months ago. Good espresso, chill vibe, and ample seating. Reminded me of the places back home.

It’s a chill hangout spot. Eclectic with lots of old books and old mismatched couches. Lots of dust and grime hidden away in those books and crannies. Definitely has a spiritual new age vibe to it.Their pricing is odd: I was charged $4.19 for 16 oz single shot iced americano, this was not advertised anywhere and was significantly higher then a regular americano... why? Is the ice that expensive?
