Very friendly staff and very very wide beer selection. Definitely a spot I would go back to for if I wanted to taste a bunch of beers. Unfortunately the food was quite disappointing. The pizza was very heavy with thick crust and the tater tots were quite bland. Would go back on a full stomach and have drinks.

Love this place. Wide variety of local brews on tap. Always great service. The weather was great so we sat out on the patio. Inside seating is available, but being outside is great now with warmer weather. Drop by and have a cold one. If Kristina is serving you will have great service and she can recommend great beers based on your description of what you like!! I will be back again!!

This place was a great find! We were looking for a good place for wings and spotted that The Growler Guys make their wings oven-baked so we had to try them out. Of course we also came for the beer!Lots of great choices of any kind of beer you can think of, and the staff was helpful in making our decision. We got to sample some of the different choices before ordering. We truly enjoyed the Burgkopf Grapefruit Fruit Beer that we ordered in a 32oz size.The wings were the BOMB and were good-sized and perfectly cooked. The sauces were generously applied and tasted fabulous!

I have no clue why this place is so highly rated. Beer was fine, but the food was horrible. It tasted like frozen pizza and frozen chicken wings. I wont be coming back.

Growler Guys is always one of my favorite places to go. They always have a changing beer list, an incredible staff team, and a very welcoming location with a really comfy backyard patio. Oh yeah, they also have food!! All in all an amazing spot and they deserve far more recognition than they get.

Nice place to grab a drink and relax. They do offer food... Limited menu. I would suggest skipping the food and just stick to the beer.

Ive been to a couple of these types of bars in Reno my favorite being Beer NV. I love the selection of beers really cant beat em but the place was a little small which made it feel crowded. I ordered some wings with my beer. To my surprise the food came out right away even before we sat down which was great but... the wings werent that great. I am picky when it comes to wings so grain of salt but prob wouldnt get the wings again just stick with the beer.

2 orders of wings (8 pieces each) and 2 beers cost me over $40, and the wings were absolutely TERRIBLE! They were super soft and the flavor was just meh. The workers were fairly nice, but I couldnt get over spending that much on those horrible wings.

Wow! First of all, the beer choices were excellent! Second, the customer service was a 10+++! Every patron that entered the restaurant was greeted immediately. I love that! I also loved how helpful the staff was in explaining beers and offering samples. Great place, service, beer, and the wings were top notch as well!!

Great variety of taps. Food is not very good. For me price is the biggest downfall. Some of the local beers can be 2-3 dollars more than if you get them from the brewery they come from or just from the grocery store across the street. They do a lot of special deals throughout the week, so you can always just sign up for deal notifications to fill up growlers at what I would consider to be the normal price. If you only have one night to check out a place with a lot of taps, I would suggest Beer NV. Just a few minutes down the road and prices are much easier to swallow.

My buddy told me he wanted to try a spot he had heard of. I was seriously impressed.. the Beer was Phenomenal, and the Sandwich... Food-gasm. They are big on the regulars to, by encouraging trivia nights among other things. My opinion.... I think Ill have a difficult time not going back again.

This place is wonderful for a laid back evening with great draft selections! The pizza is actually the best weve had since weve moved to Reno and that isnt what brought us in so it was a very pleasant surprise!The only drawback which didnt make me want to take away a star from such a great place was that they do not serve soda or have non-alcoholic beverage choices and I had to bring my own cold water since a medication has me off any liquor...I Hope in the future this will change because I know others could be in my situation.Another fabulous perk is that there are board games and patio games throughout the place and we loved sitting outside playing cards while my husband enjoyed his brew and we both loved our pizza!If your on the fence about where to get great beer and pizza in Reno this is your place!

$18 for the smallest pizza i have ever seen bland flavor and not cooked well

Always new beer on tap, usually not packed so you can get one the many tables, games to play while hanging out, kid friendly. Basically it checks all the boxes for a fun place to hangout.

Wow, what a selection! Im cutting wheat and I was super happy to see the amounts of kombuchas (one alcoholic) and ciders offered. We went here for a UYE Beer Club event during the first week of opening. Unfortunately, the inside was completely packed and the line didnt seem to end for almost the first hour of us arriving. It was great to see them being so busy but not so great when we expected an area to be reserved for our group.The staff took the busyness in stride and were quick to offer samples of anything we wanted. They have a rewards system where dollars equal points and I imagine those points can be spent there or at other businesses with the same system. I didnt have time to talk to them much about that. They also have food, which I didnt see mentioned on their website so I ended up eating elsewhere beforehand. I spoke with some people that raved about the pizza, garlic bread and brownies and will be sure to try some of those on my next outing here. Overall, it was enjoyable even if a bit loud. I look forward to filling up growlers and enjoying a beverage or two on the outside patio this summer.

Many beers on tap and fun games to play. I dont recommend the chicken wings - they were awful. If you cant drink beer, there are non-alcoholic kombuchas, wine, and a few sweet ciders (the dry option isnt very dry) to try, but nothing to write home about.

Loved it! Ive only been there two times so far, but my family and I had an amazing time both times we went. We attended opening weekend and I went again for my birthday. I love how you can get a small sampler of as many beers as you like! They also have kombucha, coffee, tea, and CBD soda on tap. The food is good and the bartenders are very friendly. Cant wait to visit again!

The pizza crust is sweet. The BBQ sauce is not spicy. The whole experience was awesome. So many drinks on tap even no alcoholic. The BlackBerry sangria is awesome.

The staff was extremely nice, they had a good beer selection, and the temperature inside the bar was not bad. We went on a Sunday it was not extremely packed and did not have to wait on our drinks in any way. Will be back

Second time here, nice layout and beer selection. The staff was not as attentive nor as friendly as our first time here.The pizza was just ok, not good, not bad, as were their wings. Seemed like a DiGiorno pizza, but came out faster!May be back to try other brews and sandwich options, but not for awhile!Somewhat disappointing as we had really hoped to love this place.

Very disappointed with this place. Twice they were out of ice. This evening, out of Pinot Grigio. I know this is a beer place but, seeing as you do serve wine why would you be out of it especially going into the Labor Day weekend. Sad experience all around.

The air conditioning was broken, there was no ice for the water dispenser. The water dispenser ran out of water and even when it had water is was room temperature! At the very least offer free non alcoholic drinks that are cold if youre out of cold water and ice!

...Kinda of cool spot... kind of...The beer is pretty generic. They have wine and kombucha on tap. But, if you get a flight 4 - 6oz beers, it will run you about $25.00 before tip. After tip, $30.00 for an equivalent of a tall can of beer is pretty steep! Beer NV is a better deal, and they have a better selection. GG does have a small menu of food, which beer NV does not. The out door seating is forgettable. Very little shad and tons of road noise. GG is less of a sausage fest than beer NV. That is a plus. All in all... Im good with sticking to my favorite spots that serve a good bang for the buck.
