From the time I walked in I was greeted with courtesy and enthusiasm. Helped me all the way through to the install they kept me informed on everything explained what they were doing and why. Which I appreciate. Did an awesome job and it sounds great. I told them I wanted to feel the base upfront in the drivers seat. DONE. The staff are always very helpful. I got my system their a few years ago. Every time something comes up I bring it in and they look to see what is going on. Sometimes its an easy fix like a rest or something. But today they needed to replace a small part. The staff told me what was going on in detail and it was a quick decision for me, fix it. The part was like $70 so no problem. Took a few minutes and I was on my way. Thank you to everyone their, keep up the great work.

These guys were not only knowledgeable about the products and the sound, they were EXCITED! They didn’t at all make me feel silly for not knowing all the technical stuff. Their only concern was that I would be happy with the work they did, and I AM!!! On top of that, they took the time, each step of the way, to make sure it was something I would be happy with, and then Jason made sure I knew how to take care of my new sound system so it would give me the best sound for even longer. Worth every penny!!!

Only giving 4 stars because Ive had to return a few time to get my auto start to work in a way that I can use it. It worked accordingly but I couldnt get it to work every time I needed it to work. After 3 tries and additional money its now working like I need (one push of a button, the car starts) I wish I would of known to chose this option in the beginning I wouldnt of had to pay for multiple installments. Just glad it finally is working.

Excellent service. Told them my desires, and they recommend a reasonably priced radio and hard-wired backup camera. I can use my cell phone for navigation and see where Im going backwards in my 2004 Suburban. I will now keep the car longer than I had planned. 340,000 miles and counting!

Went to Best Buy first, for a car stereo and installation, but they had nothing in stock and said they couldnt install til September. So I went to Audio Express, first time there. They got me the radio I wanted immediately, and it was installed and I was on my way in an hour and a half. Love the radio and service!

I was searching high and low for a place that was willing to work on my 2016 dodge dart and I almost gave up before I reached out to Audio Express. I spoke with Jason and he and everyone in the shop were knowledgeable and ready to help. They were honest with me and worked within my budget. I paid up front and had my install done within a week even when they had to order the part from the Las Vegas Store. I will absolutely be back if/when I need more equipment installed.

I am so sorry I spent my money there! I was Robbed. They sold me a bunch of stuff and said it would sound so good but it sounds worse than when I brought it in! I was mistreated twice by the manager and he wanted to charge me more for something he told me was included. In the end he decided I didnt need to pay them extra and acted like he was doing me a favor. I did business with them 15 years ago and was very happy.I will never do business with that company again. They have lost several customers because of me. Word of mouth is a powerful thing!

Jason at audio express was fantastic. I have an older car 2005 that is running great but had just a tape deck (yes that was a thing once) and CD player. I have also had issues with my muscles and mobility. Turning my body and head to look behind me isnt always something I can do anymore and I had a few close calls when backing up. Jason text quotes to me and got everything figured out. A few days later when it was convenient I dropped my car off for a few hours. A Bluetooth car play system was installed and back up camera. It looks fantastic and Jason helped me set it all up with my phone and made sure I knew how to use everything. The entire process was easy, quick, convient and I love the new system. Jason helped to meet my budget and I am one happy camper!

Then they completed the install, and when the install was finished they walked me through how to use the new radio. I was a little nervous about going due to past reviews I’ve read however I’m so glad I took a chance! The sales guy was super nice and very helpful! He didn’t try to up sell on all this extra stuff I don’t need. The install was great and things where very well set up. As a mechanic myself I was very impressed. Highly recommend you go there because I will for sure when it’s time for the viper alarm and new speakers. Can’t say thank you enough audio express!!

Over priced. Went in to get new speakers to replace the factory ones. The salesman told me the setup I was getting would be just as good or better than any factory system out there. Sounds a little better than what I already had. Went in a few times to get it tuned but never sounded any better. I will go somewhere else for the next speaker purchase and install.

The guys here are awesome! We had an auto start put in and they did a great job! Came in because I needed batteries for the fob and the took great care of me!

They were able to get my vehicle in in a couple of days, and able to install another service I wanted to add same day. Everyone was more than helpful, no lack of customer service here. They also called me when they had about an hour left of work to do, so that I could get back down to pick it up.I have gone back here after the great service I had gotten before. This time I had them put in a new touch screen and alarm on another vehicle. It took just under a week to get all the parts in, and only a day get get both installed. We had a problem with the alarm going off, but we were able to go in next day for them to fix it.I will continue to go there for any other alarms or audio I wish to install.

Then Jason helped me with replacement of the original stereo system and speakers, plus a new drop down video system for the kids with new headphones. What a great place. I came in around 5pm on a Friday wanting to know if it was possible to get car play in my Jeep Wrangler, and the staff was extremely helpful and I ended up purchasing it that day. They had to order a part so I left expecting to wait a week or two for the part to come in, but they called me early Saturday morning saying they found the part in storage and to bring my Jeep in! Took about an hour and a half to install and I’m obsessed with it. A+ customer service & A+ on efficiency. S/o to Ky - he was extremely helpful and did a beautiful job on the instal! Gonna come back in a couple months for a back up camera. Never going anywhere else!

Ive had great experiences with the stores in Vegas. But not in Reno, though a friend of mine spent a lot of cash on a custom system. Unfortunately one of the speakers blew the core. He had asked for insurance but the salesperson forgot to add it. Needless to say he had to foot the replacement cost.

A bit pricey but overall decent service. I got my subs rewired and upgraded my remote start. Only thing I had a problem with was my the remote start package I was sold. Dont show me one thing and then give me another! That there is the thing that will stop me from returning.

Have worked with the team at Audio express on multiple projects recently (new audio installation, backup camera, fog lights and replaced/updated the full set of head lights/running + directional lighting packages on my FJ Cruiser.Jason and his team were solid advisers Arie helped me pick the perfect products for me and Jason my installer helped me customize the installs extremely happy with the results.

Didnt end up buying anything because they didnt have what I needed, but they pointed me in the direction of where I could find the products, even though it was a competitor. Thats 5 star customer service right there, and theyve definitely earned my business in the future.

The sales person I spoke with was great but... my subwoofers and amp DO NOT WORK PROPERLY! They informed me of the problem after having the car for over 5 hours. And then asked me to bring the car back in 3 days so that they can install the line converter to the ignition switch (shouldve been done). Bass knob was not installed and a total let down in the customer experience! Was excited to spend $2k.. now regretting it.We will see if they can actually fix their install on the 2nd try. This is not what I was expecting.

Being a first time speaker buyer I was nervous about where to go. I asked my friends at Andys automotive, since they are my go to for all things automobile, and they lead to me audio express. I have never been more well guided! From the helpful front desk staff assistant named Chris, who was extremely personable and had a good in depth knowledge of how the speakers and sounds they produce function. The rest of the staff was friendly and inviting and even let me play some music on the trial speakers while waiting for my car install (which was done in under 2 hours).I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for good deals and better service take a stop in here at audio express before even considering checking out other places!

I received an autostart for Christmas. When I called to make the appt, I was given a couple of options. They were very professional and when the job was complete, the tech went over all aspects of the unit. Very happy with the service!!

The install was horrible I had to rewire the entire install when I got home there were plastics not properly put back together and they self tapped there own ground instead of using an already existing ground would not recommend there sevices to anyone

This place is awesome!! when I first got my car it had no radio, no speakers, no bass, no remote start, it was bone stock and sounded awful. but after a couple trips to talk to the assistant manager Chris, my car has an incredible sound system, bass for days, and a remote start and alarm! definitely recommend these guys for anything you need

These people fixed a fuse in my auto and it fixed my radio and they did not charge me! Plus I got to learn how to do it myself !!! I feel wonderful and great thanks for this company Audio Express. 3weeks ago I was charged $900 by Christiansen Auto in Reno to replace a battery, transmission fluid service, and radiator flush. When I told Christiansen my radio wasnt working, they refused to look at it for free.

Called up these guys asking about replacing a Viper transmitter for an older model they said bring it down . Half hour later I’m there and they have one in stock so they run out and program it ten minutes tops and I’m out the door ! Very friendly and accommodating staff !!

Staff was nice. I was told it was going to take 2 and a half hours for the install land it ended up taking a whole hour longer. Causing me to be late for work.

Called to get a quote to fix my girls alarm system and put in a new keyless entry/remote start. Price seemed good so went ahead with the job, but the next the day the alarm was going off still regardless of what we did. Took it back to the shop to get it fixed and they said they “replaced” a defective module and it was good to go. Not the case.Ended up going back and forth with them 4 times to get the system they installed to work like it should and they said “too bad it’s not our problem” after I talked to the supposed “new” store manager.This place is has overall bad business practices.The new manager pushed off all responsibilities on the old manager and said that they can upgrade me but only if I pay the difference.Do yourselves a favor and find a different place to get anything done to your vehicle. At this point BestBuy has higher standards than these guys

They hooked me up with 2 kicker 10s in my f150. HD to wait for a box to be shipped but understandable given not every box will work. Took about a full 8 hours but I’m got it all and they made this sound good.

Recently went in for an upgrade to my Jeep Wrangler factory speakers. Was very unhappy after picking it up. Sound quality was terrible. I called and spoke with Kevin who I assumed was management, and said bring it back and they would make it right. They did a few things that made a huge difference. Very pleased with their dedication to please customers.

Awesome staff!! Super knowledgeable and willing to help. I have to include they are very patient aswell. I called multiple places and they are the only ones that didnt try to sell me something I dont need and had the best prices on what I did need and labor. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

Install was great. They charged me 20 dollars more than quoted. Other than that they did a great job.

Very satisfied. Was tired of my stock sound system so decided to walk in and see what options they had to add some bass. Kevin was very friendly and knowledgeable. Upon installation they ran into an issue with the fitment of the subwoofers I had picked out, they called right away and presented different options that worked better in my favor. Awesome customer service and a very clean install. I will definitely be coming as well as recommend to others.

Highly recommend this store. After looking on line I made an appointment for an alarm system for my truck. Greeted by Arie, he showed me the unit I saw on line plus some upgrades that I added on. Once it was ready for pick up he walked me out to test it. Handing me the remote I felt like a kid in an candy store when I saw flashing lights and chirps, especially since my truck is an 1996 with no electric windows or locks lol. ILL BE BACK! Ive been listening to Audio Express radio commercials since 1976. Finally glad I had a chance to try them out. Whats next for the old girl, updated stero or back up camera I hope. These guys Rock!

Nice place, nice staff too....until I tried to take a picture of the stereo I was about to purchase, and I was told no pictures....really? The purpose of the picture was to show my girlfriend..so no pictures says your doing something shady .red flag for sure. The gentleman said politely that they respected my privacy (so I guess they dont have cameras) and that I should respect theirs (but they are a open to the public, again kinda shady so I left empty handed taking my business elsewhere,

I went in to find out about a remote start for my car. The person that helped me was very patient as I had many questions. She explained about each choice very detailed and there was no pressure one way or another. For my experience I was a very satisfied customer. I would recommend to anyone.

My husband and I took our 2014 Leprechaun Coachman into Audio Express to have a $2700 system installed that has Bluetooth, Sirius, Navigation, and replacing our backup and side cameras. We purchased the product and set an appointment out for 3 weeks. We brought the RV in on a Friday afternoon so they could start on it and then have it all day Saturday to complete the job. We live in Battle Mountain só knew we had to rent a room for the night. They had our RV all day Saturday and when we picked it up my husband was making sure everything worked to find out there was no side cameras installed. They told us sorry they did not have them in stock so they would get them ordered and just as soon as they came in they would get us in that Saturday to install them. While we had the RV at home we realized that the backup camera was installed in our trailer hitch so it had to be taken off to pull a trailer. 3 weeks later I call them to find out if the cameras had come in. Was told they would be in that week and they could schedule us for the following weekend. I asked why not this Saturday and was told we don’t schedule that close in. Finally make the second trip on July 4th to have the cameras done including the backup redone. Dropped the RV off at 9am. Rented a car that they were told I had to have back by 5pm. 4 pm my husband goes in to check on the progress and was told it would be done at 5 or later. It never got done until after 5pm which made me late returning my car rental. Then as my husband is following me to return the rental car he figures out that now our heater/ac vents are not working which was working when we took it in. He calls them in regards to this and the guy says well what would you like me to do about it. Says we can bring it back on Tuesday and my husband says no we live in Battle Mountain and work M-F. Was told well I don’t know what to do for you. Husband says I will be sending you a bill to have it fixed.

I recently bought a car that didnt have any of the audio features I needed such as bluetooth. I was looking to having Best Buy install a new deck for me but they had a waiting list of about two weeks. I stopped by Audio Express to see when they could get me in. They were able to get me in the same day and did a professional job installing my new deck. The manager even walked out with me to show the new setup and to ensure that I was satisfied with their work. I would say that this place has service thats hard to come by these days. Ill be back for any other car audio related services.By the way they have vending machines in the lounge area that accept Apple/Android pay. I bought Doritos just try this fantastic feature.

Amazing. Marcus did an excellent job. Everything works amazingly. He worked out all the issues I was having with my radio. He even fixed another issue I was having with my overhead light. It was so nice of him to do what he did with no extra charge!!

This place used to be my favorite audio shop in town. Ive had close to a thousand dollars of work done on my truck and referred people here. That wont be happening any more. They changed personnel and no longer have the customer service they were known for. I had a backup camera and Sirius satellite radio installed. Last year both needed adjusting and it was done in a timely and cost effective manner. I went in today and they wouldnt help, instead referring me to contact the manufacturer and trying to sell me things I didnt need. They wanted to charge me $80 just to look at my radio. Sirius is now sending me a replacement and all I had to pay was the $8.34 in shipping. I highly recommend looking around before falling into their trap. Reno has many other audio shops and I will now be taking my service elsewhere. I would give them no stars, but it wont let me post without at least 1.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Chris the manager is the rudest person and should not be in charge of anything or anyone. I should of read the reviews because they are true. After having excellent service in the past on installs in 4 vehicles and a boat you would think they would take care of repeat customers, they dont. I will never return and i wish i could return my purchase.
