I went in a few days ago and purchased 2 iPhone 12’s.The sales representative flat out LIED to me. He told me that my iPhone chargers I had for my previous phone would NOT work on the new phones I was purchasing. When I questioned him he brought out two new chargers and explained that the iPhone 12 would only work with these new chargers at $19.99 a piece.This was a flat out LIE with the intention being to up his purchase. I got home and tried our new phones on our old chargers and it worked just fine. I spent $40 for nothing.What a shady thing to do. I’ve had bad experiences in Verizon stores before and I thought this one might be different. Take your business elsewhere.

I’ve been to this store numerous time over the years and they’ve always been consistent. There is always a long wait, they will not be able to troubleshoot your phone issues (unless it’s very simple settings type thing), they will try to sell you a new phone every time, they will ask you to make other appointments and wait even after you buy a new phone, and (I have learned) if you want you phone fixed call your phone manufacturer. In short, in my multiple trips there, they will waste your time without any hesitation and generally can’t help you with anything other than a new phone that requires additional fees and expanded plans. In my experience, they aren’t “rude”, just completely incompetent.

So I came to the mall right at close for this location at 9 p.m, I thought(to take care of billing issues I forgot to take care that day). On the Saturday before Christmas.Just as I was looking for this location at #meadowoodmall in #Reno #Nevada, I found it was closed(for lunch temporarily) after losing my way through the mall trying to locate the location. What amazed me was, that I had the agent who ran that location by herself that hour was on her own time/break-time come and let me know (as I asked another vendor for the store location right across from the store I didnt see) and she happened to be near me (behind my right as I didnt see she was behind me) she politely (a bit out of breath (Ill explain why later)) said that she would be back shortly and that store wasnt closed at this time of night due to the holiday.So after I finally found the location and getting Christmas shopping done. I had the wonderful Tiara assist me in making some changes to my bill and aided me in a friendly and kind manner. As we were wrapping up, I was told this. That little did I know (when I first entered the mall asking vendors for the Verizon stores location she(Tiara) overheard my question and tried to catch up with me(on her own lunch/break time) by the food court. In trying to find me after I had walked past a couple of vendors to find the store and I guess she lost me. Good News, thankfully she didnt so when I finally found the store (her(Tiaras) very, VERY, time consuming hunt in trying to locate me came to an good ending) as she caught up with me. As a result I was deeply touched by that, as throughout the week Ive had some really bad customer service experiences. For once this week, I guess I can safely say I had a pretty good one that really showed me that there are people that still care. Even people who will go out of their way to help people, even if its really inconvenient to themselves. The guy who served me was very helpful and friendly. My complaints start with too many flu restrictions, and not enough inventory for my galaxy s20. They wouldnt put a screen protector on, and they only had 1 choice. They only had 2 cases for my phone as well. Bummer experience. Also, looks like they are trying to replace the employees, seeing how the kiosk payment works.

Waited over an hour and a half on hold for a credit check. Due to their covid rules, two people from the same party cannot be together in the store. So one of us waited in the car, trying to communicate with the other. Two and a half hours and we walked out without phones. Terrible communication from the staff, If we had known this would be a three hour+ ordeal, we would have rescheduled. Had to pee, they told me to try Goodwill or Chili’s. You’d figure if people are spending that amount of money on contracts and it’s taking that much time for Verizon to file a credit check, they’d let me use their restroom. They are constantly trying to squeeze more money out of you. This was an awful waste of my only day off.

I came by to upgrade my iPhone, thinking that it wouldn’t be a hassle. We encountered all kinds of obstacles dealing with the account and some software issues. I have been waiting for the repair or replacement of a smart watch, which had to be sent away via mail for repair or replacement. I went to the store to inquire about the status and was met by an employee by the name of Adrian. Adrian lacked interpersonal skills to resolve the problem and ultimately had to have his manager Ivan help him. Had it not been for Ivan, this would have been one star. The rude manner in which Adrian handled the situation is unacceptable as I expected a higher level of professionalism from a representative of Verizon.

But today is the reason I wrote this review because I called Verizon for technical support, was on hold for 27 minutes only to have them pick up and hang up. Verizon on general is not a good service well let me explain been with them over 15 years I rate there phone service 10. But as far as customer service I rate it 2. Bought a new Galaxy 10 7 months ago took it home from minute I took it out of box never worked good bit because of Covid 19 could not go back to store it took me 6 weeks to finally get a new phone when they did send me a new phone it was a reconditioned one so I paid over 900.00 for a reconditioned Galaxy 10 still having major problems with my phone. They need start getting back to customer service in stead of treating people like dont matter.

Verizon by far has the best coverage in Northern Nevada (Hum is kind of a rip off, but that is a story for another day). This store in particular is one of the best in Reno, well staffed, fast and friendly service, convenient location, no real complaints when it comes to purchasing devices and setting up new service. Only thing that would make it 5 star is if they could handle more support requests in store instead of having to refer you to an 800 number.

Great store. Well worth the drive not to go to the Truckee Verizon. I came in 15 minutes before they closed to get a new phone. I was helped by Russell, who was amazing. Turns out I wasnt on the list of authorized people to sign a contract on my family plan. Russell helped me make a couple calls and get it figured out. He helped me pick a good phone case and screen protectors. He was very knowledgeable and knew the answers to all my questions. He found an offer for me to trade in my old phone for $100. Then he transferred my contacts and everything to my new phone. By the time we were done with everything, the store was long past closing. Russell was helpful and had a great sense of humor until the end.

Excellent customer service, until you have an issue. I have spent an embarrassingly amount of money at this store, never had an issue until now that one (of two) iPhone 11’s that I purchased for Xmas presents started glitching, cannot even make a phone call or open an app (the phone has not been damaged in anyway, perfect condition on the outside). I was told by Verizon customer service and the customer service rep at the store, because it was 5 days out of the exchange policy, the store manager had the authority to even exchange it for a new phone. The phone has only been activated for 25 days. The store manager would not exchange the phone, and I have to wait for a used or refurbished phone to be mailed to me. If you don’t take care of your loyal customers that purchase not only phones, but speakers, accessories, ihome devices, etc, you can’t expect them to come back. In addition, the manager didn’t even come out of the back office to talk with me himself!

No public restroom. You can’t be a 5-star business if you can’t figure out the bathroom situation. It’s easy, copy apple or any other business that’s figured it out, you’re already attempting copying them with other elements of your customer experience, why not keep clients in your store instead of sending them elsewhere. Pretty obvious to me. Good luck guys! I believe in ya. Willing to increase score after bathroom changes. One thing I should mention as well is that it was a 5 star experience besides that. We were able to upgrade our service for less $$, get a different discount we were eligible for, and add a hotspot line. The sales person was very professional and helpful. Wasnt pushy, was knowledgeable etc..

I called this location before making the one hour drive to replace a faulty cellphone I had just received via mail. The employee who (eventually) answered the phone put me on hold to check inventory and make sure they had my phone in stock. The employee confirmed that my phone was in stock and told me it would take 10 minutes to do a warranty swap without any cost to me if I came into the store. Upon arriving at the store after a one hour drive I was told they do not have my phone, will charge me a $35 restocking fee and could not give me any sort of bill credit to compensate the massive inconvenience. The manager said he is sorry but prepaid plans do not come with customer support and there is nothing he can do.In the continuing saga of being a resident in a rural area where there is absolutely no option but patronizing Verizon...I broke the screen on my phone and am trying to get a new one. The website cant help me since my town does not have mail service (they dont ship to PO Boxes) and the customer service number just transfers me in an endless loop between sales and prepaid. So I get to go back to this lovely place. I call the store and John answers, sounding like he either wants to die or already has, and says they are out of the phone I want and the only way they can order it is if I come down to the store (an hour from my home) and pay for it, then return a week later and pick it up. This place and its staff are like a caricature of bad customer service. They couldnt be worse if they tried.

The service, when they arent busy, is typically pretty fast. But, the hours are less than desirable. If my service shuts off at midnight, Id like to be able to pay it first thing in the morning and 10am is just too late to get going, in my opinion.Also, it would be nice if they offered a few more options for phones in the prepaid section.

If I could give a zero star review I would. I wanted to return the Apple watch I got and they absolutely would not allow it. Even though customer service said they could. There is nothing wrong with the watch at all its just something Im not going to use. I wasnt looking for any kind of credit on my bill and was willing to pay the restocking fee. But of course Verizon is a scam and all they want to do is over charge their customers. Absolutely ridiculous! Not to mention the stores employees are rude as hell on the phone!

Had an alright experience at this location. Thought I signed up and paid for the 12GB data plan but was only charged for the Medium 4GB plan. Was truly upset because I thought I got a better deal than it was. However, I was able to get the data plan I wanted with an extra 2GB of data when I called the customer service phone number. Im thankful for the service I received over the phone, very professional and genuine. But if youre going to get a phone at this location make sure to limit the chit chat and confirm you are getting the plan that suits your needs.

She stayed late to answer my questions, she called the cell phone division of my company to help me get my work phone and personal phone figured out. In less than 3 years, I’ve spent 12312$ with Verizon. I asked RJ sales rep and Richard Solutions manager with a small request to give me a print out of my former device payments. They jerked me around, ended up having to involve several reps, several managers and 2 additional return trips. I closed my business lines with them and they showed me such disrespect. I was still planning on having future personal lines with Verizon, but after today forget it. I do appreciate corporates response to my experience and I appreciated 3 Verizon staff on my final visit that did help me get the information I needed. The solutions manager Ryan and 2 additional reps did their best.

Over the past two years, Ive visited this store a couple of times and gotten regular service. I forgot my Oakleys one time on the counter, was only talking to the representative helping me. So I left for maybe 15 mins before realizing I forgot them on the counter by there computer, called as soon i did realize, but no one knew anything and when I got there there was a bunch of thumbs up a$$ people working! My sister and I had a very pleasant and positive experience at this store, which is roomy and quiet, or was at that time. We had excellent assistance from the salesperson Bruce Hancock--kind, intelligent, and very well informed--who maintained a relaxed and professional manner for over 2 hours. In no way did we ever feel manipulated or pressured. We purchased a mini Droid smartphone, and left as very happy campers!

Visiting cell phone stores is as fun as visiting car dealerships, and Ive had some bad experiences elsewhere in town, but I am giving these guys a five-star review because they exceeded my expectations and did a great job. They did some helpful things some of the other stores were unhelpful about that saved my wife a lot of time, they had the things I needed in stock, and they were not pushy about upsells (they offered, but they werent obnoxious about it).

Susie was incredibly helpful. We lost our pay-as-you-go phone and so I stopped in to buy a new one, but since we had only had it for about a year we didnt qualify for a discounted phone. She worked for about 20 minutes to try and find me an inexpensive option instead of the $150 phone. She found me a $50 flip phone which was all I needed. Thank you Susie!

I cant even give this one star if at all possible. The customer service rep that assisted me today was rude and bordered snotty.I own a business and have both of my phones through Verizon but, someone needs to pay attention to the reviews this store gets. Theyre bad reviews for a good reason.I needed help troubleshooting setting up my business email accounts on my cell phone. Every time I go in this store some young, snot nosed, brat treats me like Im just TOO old to even understand how to use a cell phone. I cant stand the attitudes they have! Theyre rude and are not in the least bit helpful! I know how to set up email on my cell phone, there was a problem with the phone itself and he wouldnt even look at it! He just stood there tapping on the computer and wouldnt even look at me. He didnt touch the phone, didnt offer any assistance whatsoever. HUGE waste of my time and as a business owner, that time is pretty precious! Who on this earth is in charge of this store? Do they have ANY adults there at all?Seriously considering moving my account over to AT&T and I dont even like them!I will avoid this store at all cost from now on!

We attempted to switch a total of 5 lines from AT and T to Verizon. My sister attempted to call this store prior to going in physically to gather in the information we needed. The representative was very rude and didnt offer information about the steps to take since she didnt have the account information. We then went in person with all the information. The guy (Brandon?) who helped us was very polite. However, when I asked what options there was for Verizon assisting with buying out my current payment plan with AT and T I was told there was none despite finding opposing advertising. We were there for almost 2 hours. They attempted to switch my sim card and ensured me that the transition would work despite my phone being locked. When it didnt, the male representative offered to cancel the transfer or provide me with a free phone for 2 days until my phone was unlocked. However, when he checked with the supervisor Urma she declined the offer for a low grade phone and instructed me to use an old phone or buy a cheap phone. I attempted 2 old phones and neither worked.

Check in experience went well, wait time was very reasonable right before the holiday season. The rep that arrived had zero interest in helping us, nor did he answer any questions fully. Went in to have my number transfer from T-mobile to Verizon and preorder the Samsung Note 10 plus and the girl didnt tell anything about the 450 dollars off promotions on the phone for new customer. It didnt feel right because I used to work for verizonwireless long time ago and I know theres always a promotion for people who switching from another carrier. So i went home a do a little surfing on verizon website and found out theres 450 dollars discount toward the phone for new customer. Went back to confront her about the promotion and she told me that she didnt know about the promotion because its new.
