I cannot recommend Sound Ford enough. I came in browsing for a new car this last weekend and wound up purchasing a 2019 Subaru Forrester. Natasha and Steve were so pleasant to work with and there was zero pressure to buy something I didnt want. The buying process was much shorter than I had experienced in the past and I got a fair trade in value for my car. Very unfortunate experience. I purchased an F150, we traded in three vehicles at the same time. One was paid off and straight forward. The other was also easy enough and quickly done. The third was a VW Tiguan, and thats where the problem begins. I have found through this process that VW Credit has a customer payoff price, and a dealer payoff price. Apparently thats not something that this dealer knew about. The dealer faxed a payoff quote request to VW, who sent a fax back with a payoff quote and note at the top that states This amount is exclusive for customers; not valid for dealers. Despite that, Sound Ford sent the customer payoff quote amount to VW, who sent numerous letters to Sound Ford letting them know that the payoff check was short. This message was never portrayed to me. 6 weeks later I receive a letter from VW requesting my next payment - confused, I begin investigating and discover the aforementioned details. To top it off, Sound Ford already sold my trade in - without title in hand, without the payoff being accepted by VW. Had I been made aware of the significant increase in dealer payoff over the customer payoff, I would have bought the car outright and sold it on the private market, or kept it. Now Im left with few choices and a huge bill that is the direct result of this dealership not doing its due diligence.Take this as a warning that you might want to second guess using this dealer unless you want to risk being the victim of thousands of dollars in payoff quote mistakes. Buyer/seller beware...

I went to Sound Ford 3 times... each time worse than before! How long does it take to do an oil change? Definitely not 2.5 hours. And when I complained about it, he told me I could always go to the Chevy Dealership down the street. I told him i would from now on...Ill take our fleet somewhere else!

Talk to Frank and Riz in sales. Recommend both strongly. I also recommend Joe in Finance. It has been a couple days with these guys working through issues and I kind of look forward to seeing the team at Sound Ford. I always try to stop by and wish them the best. Listen to what I am about to say: the used car market is very high right now, likely into 2022. Do not go to Sound Ford without a cash offer from auto nation or car max. This is called leverage, use it. Again Listen to me.

I was looking for a truck. Did not car about the lable but need it to be in my price range. When to about 6 different local areas and could not find anything. Called around and final found a truck. Talked to Frank and sounded like he knew what was what. Offered him a reasonable deal so we would not have to drive out there for nothing. When I got there on time they showed me the truck and it was still dirty even though they said it was very clean. He then handed me to someone else for the test drive and she had no clue what was going on. Test drive was short and slow. Then frank came back to the picture and tried to haggle the price with no luck. The over all finance guy felt like he hated being there and kinda rude.Now after I got the truck back home for a few days. The engine light came on and flashing too. Which means dont drive the truck at all. So very annoyed by it. So the problem is a bad cylinder for the truck and will cost me over a grand to fix it. When I asked frank about it it was like he Im just the sales guy not the mechanic I cant foresee the future on all cars and trucks. So wishes me all the best and hope everything works out for me.Beware of this place and find a better place for any car or truck.Not military friendly as well.

LIARS! Do not buy or get service here. Bought a 2014 focus that ended up with transmission problems and Ford had a lawsuit against them for that. Gullible me bought a 2017 Focus from them because they swore the issue was fixed. Had the same problem with the 2017 focus but the service department “fixed” it last year. Started having the same issue again and brought it back to be fixed after them telling me last year not to worry that they would resolve this issue if it ever came up again but now they say “ sorry, but you missed the warranty by 612 miles we can’t fix it unless you pay” .

My roommate and I went in and we were working with Natasha & Bill. We first came in July of 2019. They were patient with us because Andy was undecided at that time if he was ready to buy. So we came back in December and the experience was phenomenal. Andy bought a New Mustang GT 5.0. Unfortunately I had to wait because I still owe too much on my 2018 Challenger. Bill was straight with me about what he could offer. No games true customer service. Natasha is a wealth of knowledge every question she answered with certainty. I will be back to buy a second mustang later this year from Natasha (Sales Representative) & Bill (Sales Manager). We are totally satisfied with the experience.

My experience with this dealership was all bad.So I came to this dealership looking to trade my car in for a truck. Saw something I liked, it was out of the price range. I should have left then. So I’m shown a truck I like and they pull out all the paperwork and the prices just weren’t making sense to me. I called a family member and turns out they were trying to sell me this truck for 5 grand more than what it was worth. After extensive conversation between my family member and the car salesman I buy this truck. They had the 10 day pay off quote for the car I traded in, because I gave it to them. They pull my credit and use the price it says I owe on my credit instead of the 10 pay off quote. I bought the truck before the next bill for the car was due and I get a call from the dealership saying that I had to pay the difference between what they pulled and what was showing. They said they called my lean holder and the lean holder told the dealership that the pay off quote was different from what they had. I called capital one (car lean holder) and asked if the dealership contacted them about the pay off quote and they had NO record of this call. I called capital one everyday until day 9 when the dealership still had not paid the pay off quote and I was getting late notifications on a car I no longer had. On day 10 I went to the dealership. Told them if they weren’t gonna pay the car off to give my car back and that because the 10 days had lapsed I was no longer responsible for paying the difference because a new quote would be needed I was met with resistance about how it was mailed and that capital one was always late receiving things. The next day it was paid in full, with the date reflecting after the 10 days. I called capital one and they told me that the dealership called them for the first time 10 days from me trading in the truck. The next day the the loan was paid in full.This place was very underhanded in their business with me and me and my wife considered getting her a car there as well but I will never step foot back in this dealership. The reps belittled me, rushed me and tried to gouge money out of me. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BUY A CAR.

There is one great man here, Assistant Service Manager JR Rocha! My Ford Escape had Transmission Fault experiencing reduced power, hesitation and slowing down in the middle of the road. We’ve had terrible luck with Ford dealerships in the past, we recently moved and my work vehicle is a Ford. I tried South Ford on a whim and have waited to have a few experiences with them before writing this. The customer service is exceptional. The employees here are honest, and won’t over-sell. I worked with Randy today, and was in for a routine oil change and to schedule a tire change. Upon checking out he was honest with me about my vehicle not being ready for a tire change yet, and that he would go ahead and return the tires he ordered special for me. I’m floored. I highly recommend SouthFord on Grady Way. Very impressed!

Today, 2/5/21, Kwok with sound Ford helped me find the Powerboost that I want. He was so on top of everything that it actually kept surprising, and impressing me. And then eventually calling my bluff by finding what I want for a price I can’t refuse. 😂 The GM didn’t waste anytime delaying the deal. The finance department didn’t waste anytime ensuring the deal went through smooth. I live in Alaska. They are going to get the truck to the terminal to get on a barge for me and I never once thought that I would actually do this. Once the truck gets shipped to me I’ll update with the conclusion of my experience. For any other Alaskans I’ll update the name of the shipper in my conclusion review when it arrives, so you’ll be able to go to their page for review of their services. Thanks!3/2/2021 update The vehicle hit the shipping yard in Tacoma 2/12/21 and sailed that night. And I received 2/18/21. I received all my documents from Sound in a timely manner so the vehicle has temporary registration and I have an appointment for permanent registration for Alaska as well. Natasha and Ritz were the ones I talked to the most about the coordination for getting it to the port. I was anxious and they continued to impress me with their attitude and reassurance. It has been such a breeze with this purchase that I will never hesitate to ship a vehicle ever again. And I will always start with Sound Ford and I will recommend anyone in the market in Alaska to consider them as well. I know a lot of people are hesitant to buy sight unseen and to accept delivery of a brand new vehicle. Looked across the country for a specific, hard to find (highly rated) late model SUV with low mileage. Sound Ford had the exact (and only) match for my criteria at that time. Spoke with Kwok Yau, one of the sales managers. He answered all my questions, went to the car to confirm mileage and condition, and texted me. We agreed on a sales price and other arrangements, all subject to a test drive and personal inspection. The next day, I flew over from Spokane, and was picked up at the airport by one of Sound Fords employees Kwok assigned for the test drive. Got to the dealership, inspected the vehicle, and had the paperwork processed. The staff was very helpful and cordial, and made the experience nearly effortless. After about 45 minutes, I had the smart keys in my hand for the drive back to Spokane. Couldnt have asked for anything more from Kwok and the the others who assisted me at Sound Ford. Thanks!

My boyfriend and I went in this last weekend to just test drive the car and had no intentions of actually buying, but we ended up leaving with the truck that same night! This decision was easy to make, considering everyone was extremely nice and helpful, they were actually willing to work with us, we did not feel pressured whatsoever, and the best part is that we were done with everything within 2 hours. Frank and Paul were the ones who we specifically worked with and we highly recommend these two. 10/10 would recommend.

Had a pretty terrible experience buying through this dealership. Sales process was messy/extended. Getting in contact with the the necessary person was like pulling teeth. Finance people were constantly passing me off from one person to another. I bought remote and was aware of the major damage that was obvious via pictures, but they failed to let me know about the micro dents that covered the entire vehicle. The didnt even have the title upon my purchase and weeks later, my state still has not received the proper documentation. Price for vehicle was extremely high given the quality.

I called them and the salesperson on phone would look into it and get back to me -- and never did. Amazingly enough the listed price jumped $3k after my call. When Nabu was off his partner Joe was eager to step in. I think the footwork you personally put in before you arrive helps. Know what you want, know what your trade in is worth and know your credit score Some other reviews for this dealership are disheartening because its clear they didnt have their specifics. They had a Can Do attitude and the entire process was enjoyable.

I sent an interest email on a car they had asking them to only call outside of working hours. They kept spam calling me in the middle of the day. in spite of the email and text responses asking them to call after 5pm. I permanently blocked them after 5th call. If theyre this high pressure about getting me into their dealership, I can only image how horrible of a car buying experience you would have in the dealership.

They charged us 800 for restocking the car having used the car for 4 days and they were very rude and unprofessional.They are a big fraud.they gave us misleading information about the car they had over valued,but when the car loan was approved, the story changed. The car price jumped from 22 000 to 28 000,after I returned the car,they were very rude and unprofessional, And they never refunded my balance immediately,Run and run fast as you can, when you here Sound Ford.

I would give less if I could. The professionalism of this dealership is seriously lacking. I have been in sales for 31 years and they need some lessons on how to treat their customers. When the manager raised his voice to my wife who was just sitting there it was done for me. We spent our 60 thousand over at Bowen Scarff Ford two days later where they treated us with respect. Maybe enough of these reviews will eventually change their ways. There seem to be a ton of them. Buyer beware.

I went to Sound Ford to buy a car and trade in mine. Everything went smoothly until I went into financing office. A man name Nabu ( I think that was his name} was the financing manager and he was not too nice. Basically he tells me to sign here sign there, not explaining any of the papers. I do not really worry about pre printed papers, but when he slipped in financing papers for me to sign, I see interest rate of 4.99%. He did not mention anything about where we are going to finance thru or the interest rates. I asked him why interest rate is so high for someone with excellent credit score, and his response was he will submit the financing application to find out. I dont think so, they dont work that way. I told him I am not leaving the dealer without knowing what my interest rate is. He looked at his computer for maybe 10-20 seconds and said BECU can offer 2.49. Why didnt he offer that to me in the first place? I get notification of 2 hard inquiry on my credit. That definitely should not have happened. These hard inquiry are not good for your credit score. He really messed me up. I am definitely not going back to Sound Ford.

Brought my car in to have the check engine light checked. I had to call multiple times to the service department to see what the issue was with my car.They finally called back and explained the issue and the cost and I agreed to get the issue repaired.What I had an issue with is when reviewing the bill I saw on the back page a shop fee for $90. I was shockedOn the shop fee and they made it sound like that was normal. I asked what the materials they needed to justify the charge. Brian couldnt answer it and then took the charge off.I got the feeling this is a regular rip off they do and probably get away with it . I would review your Bill before you leave in the service department.I even emailed the GM and never received a reply.

Went into this Ford dealership to get a new Ford Edge ST. We told them many times that we would have a co-signer and be able to put down money If necessary. They cold shouldered us because we were young and had young children with us. After that, we were able to go purchase a new Ford Edge ST for 10k less, and all the same features at a different lot. Needless to say we will no longer go there, and they aren’t polite to younger couples looking at options.

Called the parts dept to get a glow plug control module and the parts person on the other end of the line could not figure out what part I needed Even though I provided a VIN number, part location, and a physical description of the part after 15 minutes in the phone I hung up called Ford of Kirkland the parts person found my part and did a hands on in a Matter of minutes. Inette and Bill were great! They took me on a few excellent test drives, and answered all of my dozens of questions. Bill and I ended up chatting for half an hour about totally unrelated stuff. Great people! During financing Joe walked me through the process, and helped me get everything set up. I ended up driving home a new f150 and I am very excited about it! Really great guys. we just went there to test drive a mustang. But we ended up buying one on the same day as we couldnt resist the offer they have on the mustang. Top of that, the response and the customer care we received there is really awesome. This was my first experience with a No-Haggle dealership and it went rather smooth. I lined up financing and had a pretty good idea of what car I wanted to go with when I got there. I went down Friday morning, found a product specialist (James) who was more than happy to take me for a test drive. The whole experience was pretty smooth and I will definitely be doing business here again.

I have taken my car in twice over the last month or so for two different issues. During the initial visit there were a number of issues but they went out of their way to make sure things were taken care of better the next time. Mistakes happen and all that I ask is that they try to deal with it as best as they can which is what they did in my case. I will plan on bringing my car here in the future on repairs that require dealership maintenance.

Very disappointed with the sales manager Steve. Prior to traveling to Sound Ford I talked to Steve a few times and told him that I felt the truck over priced and the trade in offer was to low for my Jeep. He then reached back out to me and said that he felt we could make something work. He scheduled a time for us to meet on 5/9. When I arrived he set me up with another sales person, (Odd) She showed me the truck. Steve came back out and I again i told him the price of the truck was too high. He said he will not budge on the price. What a waste of my time, he could have just told me this over the phone instead of scheduling me an appointment and wasting my time. I guess the joke was on me, very disrespectful person!

Took my car in for 30k maintenance, basically just oil change, filter change and inspection. When I picked it up check engine light was on, luckily I keep an OBD sensor in my glove compartment and was able to look up the code. Air intake temperature problem, opened up the hood and yep, it was unplugged. Cleared the code and was able to drive home. Hopefully nothing else was screwed up. :-(

I had a technical issue with my Ford Fusion and got it to ford dealership to check iit. They diagnosed the car and told me to replace a part ($900 cost) after the part was replaced the check engine was still on with the same codes. They said to replace something eles also ($1100), it was replaced and the check engine light still on with the same codes. I took my car to the regular shop and they fix the car with ($150). I tried to get a refund from Ford because of misdiagnosis (the replaced parts were totally fine), but they didnt recognize their fault.

No no no, honey, no..My family was looking for their first suv, after looking at multiple dealerships, and after literally working here five years ago, I knew how bad their reviews are and how shady their business practices were... but we saw a car at a price we couldnt pass up.The first day: We went in and took a quick test drive before heading off to another dealership to try a different model they didnt have. We were followed to our car by a salesman, not the salesman we had actually talked to, but a new random one, trying to immediately make a sale today. We had to decline him multiple times.The second day: I wanted my husband to try driving it this time so we went back. The salesman this time said the car mustve sold because they dont have it anymore. So my husband drove a different trim to get an idea. But I guess the car we wanted was gone?The third day: The car listing was still active so we called to double check. Apparently they still had it and it wasnt sold... so we went into try and negotiate to buy. We were dealing with Rick, who initially told us they dont haggle, right before haggling with us. They used the classic, let me make a call and came back instead with printouts of why theyre worth it, that they had a buyer lined up in california, all while raising our offer. It was clear they were trying to identify which one in our family was actually making the buying decision, and appeal to them. When this failed, they tried to offer random other cars for us to look at. When we couldnt come to a conclusion, they brought out Kwok (remember when I said I worked there 5 years ago? Well, I remember Kwok, and he was horrible to other coworkers) He came out and tried to give us more numbers and why they were the best. But couldnt do our offer. Which was fine, we decided to go and maybe reevaluate for another day. Rick saw us leaving and said, well, Ill take a couple hundred off IF YOU WRITE US A FIVE STAR REVIEW ON GOOGLE.**Note all the reviews on here that have very little reviews overall. They were coaxed into misleading reviews for discounts. Check review sites other than google for untainted reviews, i.e. yelpI declined, and tugged my husband to leave. Rick didnt like this and told my husband, Youre really going to let her pull you out of here?.... Really? As if him listening to his wife made him any less of a man. Hit a nerve there. We leftThe fourth day: Rick left us 2 voicemails, reminiscent to late night calls from that ex we all have, I miss you, come back, etc etc... We couldnt deny the price and the value in the car versus others on sale currently.. so we called back and made an offer again. Rick said blatantly that he couldnt do it, and that he had 3 other people looking at the car. So we said, okay, and left it there. He called back half an hour later and lowered the price for us again. We decided it was acceptable so we went in and began signing. We signed a couple papers and went in to talk to Nobu/Nebu/Nabu their finance guy, who was also around when I worked there (also quite curt and rude to sales people) He told my husband that the APR our bank gave us was wrong, even though we had called and confirmed not 20 minutes before coming in.. he told us we needed a down payment also, when our bank told us we didnt. After some confusion and talk of just calling the bank to confirm, he let it go and continued. We finished and took our new car home, 1/4 tank of gas, blemishes here and there.The cherry on it all, was we were called 2 weeks later asking if we were still in the market to buy a car from them.

Service after the sale is non-existent. A partial list of examples follows:Box tie down system is missing from the new pickup I bought - have asked for it numerous times and nobody ever gets back to me when each person Ive spoken with says they will.When sending title paperwork back and forth, either the dealership or DMV lost an important document that wasnt simple to replace. The ladies at the dealership were less than patient in rectifying the issue - to the point of unprofessional behavior.Purchased a Ford factory extended warranty (- I had to really push to get a FORD FACTORY warranty rather than an aftermarket warranty company) and requested an electronic copy. They indicated they dont keep electronic warranty records and someone will have to dig through records in the warehouse to retrieve this. (Its 2021!! How does a Ford dealership NOT have electronic records?!) Nobody has followed through.Loaded FordPass on my phone before I left the dealers lot. The dealer failed to load FordPass points to my account and they just dont know how to do that. Youll have to call Ford directly.The pickup told me when I drove it off the lot that it needed an oil change. When I questioned the salesman, he assured me it did have an oil change, but the computer must not have been reset. I asked for documentary proof of this to ensure my warranty wouldnt be voided for improper maintenance. In reality - it had NEVER had an oil change!!! Pickup was over 1 year old and had nearly 7,000 miles on it. It had been driven by an executive at the dealership for that time period. How does an executive for a Ford dealership neglect basic maintenance?!The reason I feel justified in giving the dealership 2 stars, is because everyone Ive spoken with is kind when I call (even if they dont follow through...) and because this is the nicest pickup Ive ever had. Ill give my Lariat a full 5 stars. Its nice looking, comfortable, and has as much power as a hot rod with that Ecoboost motor. This thing passes everything but a gas station. Panoramic sunroof is wonderful. (Do NOT open if its below 40 degrees or youll spend a half day and $450 at the dealership getting it fixed cuz they will not cover it under the warranty. Slides for window panel are plastic and will break in cold weather.)

I recently purchased a hybrid Escape with the help of Payton at Sound Ford and the experience was excellent. She was attentive, patient, and helpful without being pushy or overbearing. She knew the ins and outs of the vehicle very well and was savvy and articulate. The overall experience was a pleasure. I was in and out with a car within a few hours including test drive. Went here to look at a crossover, it was Sold. Got stopped by Tony, stayed he just got a car and he can offer $8800 for it. It was a small Car, I feel I was pushed on making the choose to buy it. I ended up getting the car, now I wish I got something BIGGER AND so upset at myself for allow a Salesman to push me to get something I did not want. I am thankful for a great running car but with a 4 yr old and an infant, there is NO ROOM, took this care to Port Angeles, never felt so cramped in my life. I can’t even push my seat back due to car seats or toddler legs..Tony was nice, ask to leave a good review but I have learned from the past NOT to give reviews until after the deal is all said and done.I got a call from the office saying plates are in and there is a balance of $51.00 in the message it states “They” made a mistake on their end and something about dmv.Upon arriving I got Tony who helped, stating I had to pay it, it was my responsibility and he TOLD ME that I may have to pay more, when first selling the car to me. I do NOT REMEMBER HIM SAYING THIS AT ALL, and honestly this was not the first few that was untold to me. They added an additional $50.00 to 8,800 for the car, without explaining what it was for.When I told Tony I did not have the money that I gave them every last penny he was completely rude and demanding and a bit aggressive with his ton of voice. It was like after he got the sale and they money all professional manor and respect was gone.Completely rude.If you go to buy from here do not have Tony help you!And if he ask you to “leave a really good review” wait till everything is done and especially after you have had the car for a month or so!True colors come out than!
