If you are looking for any European car services, do not hesitate to check this place out!I dropped my fiancées BMW X1 here couple days ago and the service from start to finish was great. Competitive price, fast & reliable service, great communications. They explained everything and breakdown of the charges, love the attention to details and service as well.Didnt notice there was a nail in the left rear on the tire until I took the car to this place, went to two tire shops before and none of them took care of it except filling air inside.I was able to pick up the car within 2 hours, I can confidently say that Ive found a local auto shop that can get the job done!

I Brought my 2008 Supercharged Range Rover in for an oil change and to service the transmission. I noticed it was hesitating a bit with a very light shimmy when changing gears. Mitch was great at providing advice and letting me know that in his experience a good service would most likely fix my issue and in either case preventative maintenance is always good. When I picked the car up it did have an issue that was not present before, DO NOT LET THIS DETER YOU. Iv worked at a car dealership for 7 years. I can attest that unless the technician working on your car is a literal wizard, that these things happen. What’s important is how the service center handles these instances. Mitch was great, squeezed me in the next day with no appointment. Got the car fixed the same day(shifts better then ever!) and even did a small job for me that I forgot to ask him about on my first visit to make up for my unexpected return visit on the house. The other service writer (Brian?) who I spoke to a couple times over the phone was also very helpful. I’m pretty sure they are the only 2 service consultants that work there. So with either of them you are in good hands! Will definitely be bringing my Rover here from now on.

Took my 2007 z4 m in originally just to get a flex disk replaced. Later found out that I needed to get my driveline reconstructed as well as a new center bearing. Mitch was my advisor and I could not be more satisfied. I can really tell that these guys know what they’re talking about. This has been the only shop I’ve ever taken my bimmer to, hence it being work (driveline reconstruction) that I couldn’t do myself at home in my garage. The professionalism at this place is legit. Will be the only shop I take my bimmer to in the future for important services. Thanks again Mitch!

Oil gasket leak repair w/ oil change and coolant leak on a BMW - quote was a bit high ($1900 total after diagnostics and tax), more in line with an actual oil pan replacement cost rather than just the gasket, but service was great so thats ok. They discovered a cracked motor mount while they were in there replacing the gasket, so the extra may have been from adding book hours for that, even though they were already in there (I dont really know how to get to that so I dont know how much extra labor it would have been, just speculating). When they told me though it sounded like they were just adding the cost of the part (~$50), so I still think the overall labor cost quoted may be a bit high. They were able to locate a coolant leak that another shop missed, and it was an easy fix (clamp loose) so they did it for free. The car also was delayed last minute, and I was already swinging by on my way home from the airport so I popped in before they could call to tell me it wasnt ready - not their fault but they paid for my Uber back home since I had to Uber to them, very good customer service. Car was delayed again when the tech accidentally damaged an oil cooler - they replaced it free of charge as well. Mitch answered a ton of questions for me on other things too.Overall, great service, price was higher than I would have liked but Im just glad my car is in working order again after 2 other mechanics were unable to correctly diagnose the issues (complete misdiagnosis, ridiculous really). Plus, theyre very professional so Im willing to give them the benefit of the doubt on pricing. I would recommend to a friend if they are willing to potentially pay a bit extra to have the peace of mind that something is done right and that they will be taken care of.

Worst service I have ever been to.. Brought my car there cuz overheating after short of time after starting. They took it for a diagnostic, almost $300. But after the replacement (which they said so), they called me and tell me theres something wrong with the alternator and the car is still overheating (even they already diagnosed and gave me the final answer), (which over charge voltage) and try to cost me triple of the average price.. I refused, took the car home, check the alternator, it was working at 14.6v which is regular voltage... I just dont know why I have to pay $2000 for... My car still have the same problem...

These guys are the best shop for European cars, hands down. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable on any car you bring them, but they take care of you like youre family. I brought in my Z4M for a service and asked to have a small seal replaced on my rear differential to stop a leak they had noticed in a previous inspection. I drove it around town for about a hundred miles to make sure everything was good before taking it out on a road trip out to the Olympics, and thats when the new seal caused my differential to begin coming apart. 200 miles away from the shop. Not only did they help coach me through a few easy checks over the phone when I called them, once I got it into a local shop and confirmed it was the diff they had just worked on they got the car back to Renton, found a new oem local part that could be shipped quickly, and had me back in my car within a week. These guys have got a customer for as long as I have European cars, period.

Wholly inadequate service. We took in a new used vehicle with five items to address, including routine service. They did not perform the routine service items we requested - when we picked it up they told it us checked out fine and didnt need those things, but they should be done soon!! On the upside, they didnt charge us for checking. They misdiagnosed two issues - one was a bad connection (recalled part), the other needed a reset (described in manual) - both issues they told us wed need to replace the whole item, which would be expensive, and why bother. We asked them to do a full brake job, both front and rear, and they only did the front brakes, again telling us first we didnt really need to do the work yet. (looks okay, never mind if its not working!) The also identified and replaced torn CV boot, which is great, but oddly first told us we didnt need to fix it. Why do an easy fix now, when a complete failure could leave you stranded and with a more expensive repair? Basically, this place is a waste of your time. Go to a mechanic who will do the work.

There is nothing but pure class and professionalism here. Even when they gave me the worst possible news about my car, they gave me the best advice for what would work best for me, not what would put the most money in their pockets. Also, when I was planning on moving out of the area, Brian gave me great advice on what to do with my car when it would do absolutely nothing for their business. As a former race team mechanic, I have a real hard time finding a shop that does not leave a sour taste in my mouth. In my interactions with the guys at this shop, I can say that sometimes its not just how well they can do their job when things go right, but also how they handle it when things go bad.Our Mercedes ML320 (Diesel) is an engineering nightmare - a terribly designed car with many common problems. As with all of them, our oil heat exchanger started leaking at about 85k. The original bid for the job was competitive and the guys seemed to be rather familiar with the quirks of this 10-hour repair. The job got done on time, which is all and well. However, about a day after we got the car home, I noticed a wide trail of oil following the car. Luckily it was a 5-block trip and I noticed the leak before the engine ran dry of oil. The car needed to be towed back to the shop and I dreaded the typical mechanic shop dodging of responsibility for what I was certain to be a very pricey ordeal. To my utter shock and surprise, after looking at the problem Brian took full responsibility for the situation. A fastener did not get tightened properly and an oil line popped off the turbo. Without my even needing to ask, they covered the cost of a rental car, the tow and all of the labor involved with digging out the turbo and fixing the leak. They even replaced an unrelated to the problem exhaust pressure sensor that was throwing an error, free of charge on a follow-up visit.Of the dozens of shops Ive dealt with in the past, this is the only one that owned up to an accidental screw-up (which happens to everyone) and did the right thing without trying to come up with some explanation about how this was an unrelated repair. We will use these guys for our German car service hence forth.

When my car (blue Volkswagen Golf) was brought in for a moisture leak and possible wiring issue. After a MONTH we went to pick it up, the sunroof (usually closed) is stuck open, the drivers side window is stuck wide open, (it worked before) the center console is also stuck, (It’s usually down)and the light on the driver side door is broken. These things were working normally when we brought it in. All of these issues happened while the car was in YOUR care. I am very angry and very upset with how the employees treated my car. When you take a car in the get it fixed, IT SHOULD NOT BE IN WORSE CONDITION WHEN PICKED UP. A part of me is seriously thinking about a lawsuit over this. This is unacceptable.

My son took his BMW to south lake European to get it worked on, they told us it would cost about 800.00 to fix the shifter. we decided to go with them even though it was kinda more then what we could afford but they looked like they were experienced and honest. when we went to get the car out after they worked on it and it had problems with noise in first gear, we called them and they said bring it in and would adjust it, we brought it in and they said it would cost more to fix something else by the shifter, now they wanted to charge us about 750 dollars to fix that. my son BMW just broke down an hour ago, something with shifter, something we paid them to fix. my son just turned 18 years old and saved his money to pay for the best service he can get.... there is is saying you get what you pay for NOT TRUE! we paid a lot at south lake European to get work down when we could have gone to some budget shop and get the same result. dont let a good looking shop fool you!

It needed a failed emissions waiver, had a broken electronic parking brake and radio/nav was non functional. The total quote for diag time was $400. Which I was okay with.I get a call the same day to them letting me know that the ECU is toast and the car wont start. Somehow they replaced a fuse and now the car wont start. I think what actually happened was they managed to fry the ECU and put blame on me saying that the car had other faults. They quoted me 5k to fix their mistake! Why should I pay to have the ECU fixed when you guys were the ones that broke it to begin with? Horrible experience. I told them I didnt want the work done and they wanted me to pay to tow it back to my house. I was able to drive it into the shop, I’m not paying to have it towed to my house. I managed to have them pay for the tow back to my place but they still charged me for diagnosis and said the fees were separate. They didnt diagnose anything so what am I paying for?! They left me when a non working car and more problems than I actually had prior to bringing the car in. My main issue is they didnt take accountability for their misdoing.
